Gingrich Hypocrisy Full Frontal

Tyler Durden's picture

If anyone feels like voting for Newt Gingrich after watching this interview, we only have one question: do whips, chains, and a skin-tight leather outfit await the return from the voting station? Bloomberg's Erik Schatzker reports on his interview with Paul Levy, managing partner at JLL Partners Inc., about a payment made to Newt Gingrich for a speech that "praised" private equity at a JLL annual
meeting two years ago.

Gingrich is the only man to have held the determining hand in balancing the US Federal budget since 1957.

I’ll take arrogance, ego, hypocrisy, womanizing and competence every time it’s offered over words that I want to hear.

If Gingrich is your idea (ideal) of competence, I fear for the future of the republic, especially if more share your view.

Gingrich is a corrupt, immoral, windbag who will say whatever he is being paid to say, if this reeks of competence in your world, I'm sure you'll love Obama as he has that same charming abilities to talk from one side of his mouth while receiving cash in his orifices.

Gingrich is an Emperor waiting for an opening.

Clinton used accrual accounting which amounted to wishful thinking on huge tax receipts to *show* a balanced budget ON THE BOOKS, but in the future, not in real life.  We did not have *cash* on hand or even equity on hand that would have been tangible assets to "balance" our budget.  However, starting with Reagan (mid 80's)and continuing with Clinton (even with the then largest tax increase in history) we were on a better path towards balanced budgets.  The disclaimer there though.... we borrowed money to pay for pet projects, just as Bush II became addicted to doing, because we knew SS and both Mediscare programs were insolvent, so the budget was balanced "on the books" while the National Debt (what we owe everyone else) went through the roof!

I wish the MSM would stop trying to "get hip" by trying to report on things like hypocrisy, bribes and kickbacks, political favors and cronyism.

Stick with news blackouts and whitewashes of anything negative, and keep on a positive/war footing at all times.

I will vote for Newt on Saturday because I want this theater to continue! I'm sure neither is electable, but I don't care.

The difference between Newt and Romney is that Newt is a scumbag in it for the fun and glory of drinking the elixir of power again. Romney, on the other hand,  is a scumbag liar in it for the money and the power. Not much difference. Of course, the second tier is reserved for the crazies.....

It was said that technicians doctored a birth certificate to make it look authentic; that’s nothing, a team of the best accountants that money can buy will be doctoring the one single year of income tax returns that Mitt Romney will allow the American public to see.  And so, the 2012 presidential race will be … (May I have a drum roll please) … the Clash of the Documents.

Romney, the man of the people, unlike most of the middle class, pays just 15% in taxes and refuses to release any tax records - EXCEPT those for 2011 come April 15, AFTER his “accountants” have a good chance, you might say, “to prepare.”

Following is Mitt Romney Invests in Several Bain Funds that Use Offshore Tax Havens to Boost Profits | Jan 18, 2012 by Pat Garofalo from ThinkProgress Economy:

Mitt Romney yesterday admitted for the first time that his tax rate is about 15 percent, lower than the rate paid by millions of middle class families. Romney is able to pay such a low rate (even though the top income tax rate is 35 percent) because his income comes overwhelmingly from investments and he is able to use a pernicious loophole available to wealthy money managers.

Romney has been refusing to release his tax returns, finally conceding to releasing his 2011 return after he files it in April. However, only releasing his 2011 returns would give Romney the opportunity to keep under wraps some of the financial engineering he may have done to avoid taxes before the last calendar year. As Reuters noted, those returns “could shed light on how Romney and Bain use offshore strategies to avoid taxes.” In fact, ABC News reported today that Romney has millions of dollars parked in several Bain funds that are set up in tax shelters in order to help their investors avoid U.S. taxes:

Although it is not apparent on his financial disclosure form, Mitt Romney has millions of dollars of his personal wealth in investment funds set up in the Cayman Islands, a notorious Caribbean tax haven…As one of the wealthiest candidates to run for president in recent times, Romney has used a variety of techniques to help minimize the taxes on his estimated $250 million fortune. In addition to paying the lower tax rate on his investment income, Romney has as much as $8 million invested in at least 12 funds listed on a Cayman Islands registry. Another investment, which Romney reports as being worth between $5 million and $25 million, shows up on securities records as having been domiciled in the Caymans.

Even if these funds don’t help Romney directly dodge U.S. taxes, which the campaign claims they don’t, they convey a host of advantages to Bain and Romney, including “higher management fees and greater foreign interest” from investors looking to avoid U.S. taxes. As the Washington Post’s Suzy Khimm noted, “just one of these offshore-linked funds — Bain Capital Fund VIII, based in the Cayman Islands — generated $1 million for the Romneys in 2010.”

Offshore funds are attractive to investors, since they help with tax evasion, and more investor interest translates into more profit for Bain and Romney. As we’ve noted, Romney has a lucrative retirement deal with Bain that is paying him millions each year...

Newt? Of course he'd be dead and buried politically (as he richly deserves to be) but for his complete and total obeisance to key members of the Israel Lobby. And yet, the (ahem) "news media" would have you believe this pasty-faced blowhard has any true support outside of any rented for him via the big money being splashed around by Jewish mafia kingpins.

Newt is the bought and paid for property of Mr. Sheldon Adelson, the nice fella who also owns Hairball Harry Reid in the Israeli-Occupied Territory known in history as the "US senate". AKA the Knesset West.  Sheldon, the nice fella who makes an honest living.... from the whistle-clean casino business. In super-clean Las Vegas Nevada. Founded by Bugsy Siegel. A "business partner" of marvelous Meyer Lansky.

Newt? He's Shel Adelson's personal sock puppet in the "republican race". Newt is a Butt Rodent. So sure, Newt's weight gain must really suck. But just look at all Shel gets for his money! A staggering value really. Newt is just such a complete and enthusiastic hypocrite and traitor to his nation and his countrymen. He's happy to bark most anything he's told, and to do so on command. His interviews on foreign policy are a laugh riot, totally over the top. The Lieberman wacko (the Israeli version, not wacko Joe in this case), just on 'roids.

'Course, back in 'Nam, when it was Newt's time to serve his country, Newt the Great Destroyer got deferments. Just like Mr. Tough Guy Darth Cheney. They shunted off their obligations to the less fortunate. Those without the right connections.  "You go die, we're too special for that sh*t. See, we just get other people killed. And we do it for for pay."

No doubt Shel and the gang spotted Newt's truly superior traitor potential way, way back, as he betrayed and then left his first wife, as she was dying of cancer. Clearly this marked Newt as a man with a very bright future in Shel World...

And how 'bout that very scary looking Zom-bot Newt's "with" now? She must be part of the Betray Your Nation comp package AIPAC offers. The District of Criminals gang go for it like flies to cow patties on a hot, August afternoon.

And look how well it works: their pet senate passed the Bill of Rights nullifying NDAA, in no time, by the kinda wide margin of 93 to 7. And they did so 220 years after the signing of the Bill of Rights. To the very day. But I'm quite certain the timing was merely coincidental. Just like the great Mr. Obama signing this PoS into law on New Year's Eve, while no one was watching. Or the Fed being born on Christmas Eve, 1913. All just coincidences.

Ron Paul in November. Or FEMA camps in December. You pick it folks.

There would be nothing more satisfying than watching all the impostors running for the GOP nomination get blown up.  When the smoke clears, the only one left standing would be Ron Paul.  How would the gasbags, hate salesmen, and chicken hawks of the right wing propaganda machine (and left) handle that?  Heads would be blowing up.  That in and of itself, would be worth the price of admission.

 Houston, we have a problem.

I would then worry something bad could happen.  Defending the ponzi knows no bounds.

Can they pile on at precisely the right moment in time and crush the Gingrich juggernaut poised to capitalize in the upcoming South Carolina primary? or will a man who became spawn of the Reagan economic revolution, the man who has provided some of the most skilled oratory speech in America, be able to drive the nails home with the broke, and displaced, miserable America people that he is their one?. Newt used gift cards provided by lobbyists he worked for and key rich supporters to pay off his Tiffany debts.  I dont think he reported this as income to the IRS as there would be no record of the name of the recipient of the gift card.  Its the Grover Norquist/Leona Helmsley attitude about taxes.  The IRS needs to audit this.

Unless I missed it, I didn't see one post mention a real possibility, and what I believe would turn out to be the Winner of the 2012 Presidential Election.
Ron Paul running as a 3rd Party candidate.
I actually prefer Ron Paul running in a 3rd Party, instead of the GOP (who has shunned him) nominee.

We have all witnessed the treatment he has gotten from the totally controlled MSMedia, and the GOP, despite the GOP knowing that Ron Paul as the GOP nominee has Polled the Best vs Obama than any other of the candidates. And this is with all the Non-Support, verbal jabs, attempts of trivializing him, constantly repeating the Scripted words about not being "Electable", Ignoring him, etc., etc., he has received from them. And BTW, the last debate by Fox had a hand-picked, selected audience, a "Stacked-Deck". This kind of stuff, from both sides, is going to backfire. The People are starting to awaken, and a Ron Paul challenge as a 3rd Party Candidate would awaken many, many more.

This Election cycle, 2012,  more so than any previous ones, is begging/hoping for an alternative to the usual two choices.
The Fact that the MSMedia and the Politicos are against him, I believe, this only Underlines that Ron Paul is our One chance of having a President that can bring Real and sorely needed changes in the direction this country has been heading on, especially since 2001 and the installation of some new "laws" and/or Signing Statements, slowly but surely all eating away at our Constitution, Bill Of Rights, and the Rule of Law.

Mathematically speaking, Ron Paul could Win with just 34% of the Vote, with the other two getting 33% each. We can't expect the MSMedia to let out the Truth, or any Facts, so aside from the occasional mention that a Ron Paul GOP Ticket has Polled the Best vs Obama, than any other of the GOP Candidates, Dr. Paul also garners the Votes from many who would otherwise vote for the DEM. Just pulling 10% away from Obama (though I believe it would be much more than 10%) to Paul is a 20% Swing. And all the Republicans who don't care for Romney would have thealternative of voting for Ron Paul.
