The ‘Lesser Of Two Evils’ Con-Game

The moral relativism of the “lesser of two evils” philosophy has been draining the heart and soul of America for decades. Many of us in the Liberty Movement understand that it is nothing new, and have come to expect the abusive and emaciated logic it entails from time to time. However, over the course of the past year it has become apparent to me that the talking points and propaganda that drive the hypocritical worldview are being utilized on an even grander scale than ever before. This fact struck me quite sharply while attending a local GOP Lincoln/Reagan dinner event while I was attempting to gauge the overall danger our country would be facing from potential RINO (Republican In Name Only) sellouts as well as what our hopes were for a possible political solution at the local and state level. The “conservative” rally was, to say the least, disappointing.
One thing that stood out plainly at this event, though, was that there was an overall template; an action plan, a message that had been pre-engineered. Someone had sent out a memo, or an email, or a guide, or perhaps beamed talking points directly into the cyborg brains of these political hacks. Their rhetoric was repetitive and uniform and dry like elbow skin. The demand was clearly stated; regardless of who won the Republican Primaries, no matter how unprincipled, how unconstitutional, how despicable, it was our “duty” as conservatives to back them through the national elections. Obama and the Democrats had to be defeated at all costs…
Now, one of the first tenets or rules that a person learns when delving into the Liberty Movement is that there is no such thing as political parties in America today. There are no conflicting interests in Washington D.C. There is no “grand battle” between left and right for the minds of the masses. It is a sham. A con. A fantasy. A false paradigm.
In reality, the leaderships of both fraudulent parties support essentially the same methodology, and that methodology could be summarized thus: Centralize everything, globalize everything, control everything, grow government power, reduce the effectiveness of the citizenry, turn the public against each other, rob them while they’re distracted. If an American does not understand this dynamic and how it is used to dominate the ebb and flow of our culture, then that American knows nothing. He is lost…
Sadly, even those of us who should very well know better than to fall into the false left/right paradigm trap do so on occasion, as has been made painfully obvious by the foolhardy actions of Rand Paul and his blank check endorsement of Mitt Romney. Certainly, this epic blunder, which seems to me to be a blind stab at political maneuvering on the part of Ron Paul’s son, has set off an angry firestorm amongst true Constitutionalists who know every lie Mitt Romney has ever told. People are using words like “betrayal”, and “traitor”, and with good reason, but let’s look at this calamity from the other side of things for a moment…
There are others out there who would applaud Rand Paul’s decision. While many of them will openly admit that they do not feel very secure in the shadow of a Romney presidency, they still rationalize their position by making the “lesser of two evils” argument. “America may be going off the edge of a cliff”, they say, “but at least Romney won’t press the gas peddle as hard as Obama”. Here are just a few of the many reasons why this way of thinking will lead to the end of our society as we know it…
Lesser Of Two Evils? There’s No Such Thing…
First of all, asserting that there is such a thing as a “lesser of two evils” is an act of naivety. It relies on a very dangerous assumption; that one can somehow quantify which candidate is going to hurt the country less. I’ve even read essays by people who pretend they can mathematically delineate the “more evil” of the evils! Not surprisingly, their “logic” invariably leads them to proclaim the lesser evil to be the candidate of the party they happen to belong to. Ignorant Republicans always see the Democrat as the greater evil, while ignorant Democrats always see the Republican as the ultimate monster.
Here’s some math for you: there are two candidates for President of the United States, one is a cannibalistic serial killer who plans to murder 20 more people with his own hands while in office. The other is a cannibalistic serial killer who only plans to kill 19 innocents personally. Which candidate do you support?
The correct answer is NEITHER.
Unless you are a fan of murder, there is no inherent difference between these two demonic bureaucrats. They both stand in opposition to the guiding principles of inborn conscience, as well as the protections provided by the laws of free people. The fact that one man will do slightly less damage during his reign is irrelevant. Is a choice between Stalin and Hitler, for instance, really a choice at all? Which one is the "lesser evil" in this equation?
Some may argue that this comparison is a bit over the top. I beg to differ. Presidents have the power not only to maim and kill en mass, but they also have the power to dismantle the laws which protect our civil liberties. To drive the point home as far as Romney and Obama are concerned, let’s watch the following video, which removes the blinders and exposes these two charlatans for what they really are; two peas in a pod:
A refusal to vote, or a vote for a third party, is not a vote for Obama, or a vote for Romney, but a vote against the charade.
There is no such thing as a “lesser evil”. Either a candidate follows the path of truth and honor, or he does not. If he does, he deserves our support. If he does not, or if both candidates are criminals, then they both must be tossed to the wayside. Just because the system has deliberately limited our choices does not mean we are required to participate in the flim-flam.
Participation Is A Duty?
I have also heard the argument that by refusing to participate within the system, and by refusing to choose a specimen from the carnival of horrors we are presented every election cycle, we are doing more harm to America than good. This is the most prevalent falsehood of our era.
The bottom line is, Americans have been dancing in the lesser of two evils pageantry for generations and our Constitutional shield has only been further degraded and destroyed in that time. I defy anyone to show how choosing Obama over McCain, or Bush over Gore, or Clinton over Bush Sr. has helped this country or its people. Where are these illusory advantages and benefits of participation? Where has our country gone while the public fettered away years trying to decide which ghoul to hand over the scepter of empire to? Or, the ultimate question; what specifically have they achieved? Have they gained anything? Has any minutia of our lives been made better by following the “lesser of two evils theory”? Only a fool would claim yes…
One might argue that a non-vote is the same as putting all bad candidates on the same footing, and that this would be “wrong”. I disagree. In an election in which all candidates share the same disparaging policies, they are ALREADY on the same footing. We simply refuse to give the farce legitimacy by casting our vote for any one of them.
In the game of chess, the primary goal is to diminish your opponent’s options. To force him into a corner where, no matter which choice he makes, he loses. Chess, however, is not life. In life, intelligent and creative individuals have the ability to walk away from the board completely and implement their own solutions. The more we continue to participate in the rigged game, and the more we continue to view the future as a series of self contained boundaries administered by the establishment instead of a wide open frontier in which all is possible, the more we will lose, until there is nothing left.
Only Cowards Compromise In The Face Of Evil
Good does not compromise with evil. As stated above, there is nothing to be gained by it. I find that the people most prone to suggesting or demanding compromise with oligarchs and tyrants are usually cowards who have never faced down any legitimate struggle in their lives with any passion. But, how do they sell this stunted philosophy to others? The illusion here is one of “reason” or “objectivity”.
Fearful men often use the guise of objectivity (even if they are not) to avoid confrontation, especially confrontation with a supposed authority figure or government. Strangely, their powers of reason and deduction invariably seem to lead them to subservience to the establishment structure. Compromise, for them, is a way to protect their flailing egos by playing the role of the “even handed citizen” while at the same time crawling towards servitude.
The argument to this position would, of course, be that many in the Liberty Movement compromise with evil everyday. That we follow laws we disagree with and that we find reprehensible, and that this makes us somehow “hypocritical”. I would say that this is a very narrow and disingenuous view.
Free minded people do not “follow” reprehensible laws so much as tolerate them while working to dismantle them (“following” infers acceptance). Being honorable and generally of good will, we look for peaceful avenues of redress and change. But, if those avenues are closed to us, and if the injustices expand, the free minded become freedom fighters. Dissent and even revolution are inevitable in the face of tyranny. It is an undeniable feature of human nature.
What I find most interesting though is the conundrum that this conflict of interest creates for the skeptical establishment slave. If the Liberty Movement tolerates bad law while searching for a peaceful path towards change, they call us hypocritical. If the Liberty Movement abandons tolerance and bring force to bear against tyranny and its abuse of the law, they call us “fringe extremists”. Apparently, the only way we can be correct in the eyes of self proclaimed objectivists is if we bow to the constraints of the system, sit back, keep our mouths shut, and enjoy the bread and circuses.
The Greatest Evil Is Moral Relativism
Collectivist governments seek to encourage extreme moral flexibility. Totalitarian regimes cannot survive otherwise. The lesser of two evils sales pitch is, in the end, an extension of the methodology of moral relativism. It trains us to embrace the status quo, whether we like it or not, and to continuously rationalize our adherence to the sham just to get through the day. The mental gymnastics we are required to perform become more complex and unstable. Eventually, in order to ease our consciences which are screaming in agony at the pit of our chests, we have to stop caring about anything, and just go through the motions of participation.
This is not the way to freedom.
There are other ways to secure liberty beyond elections, but for these strategies to be effective, we have to stop asking for permission from the establishment before we take action. Perhaps you seek to step outside the box and away from the controlled paradigm. Perhaps you seek to confront the system head on, either exposing its duplicity and evil, or erasing it as an obstacle completely. The system, its laws, and its political theater are of no consequence, especially when it has been so corrupted.
Moral relativists, though keen on the idea of mutable law, enjoy the trappings of the law as long as it is to their benefit. The law, as I have pointed out in the past, is arbitrary, and always has been. The only true law is the law of inherent and universal conscience. My conscience, as with most other people, tells me that choosing the “lesser of two evils” (an illogical abstraction) sends a message to the elitists that manipulate our culture that I am willing to help them perpetuate their fiction. I become an accomplice in the crime. I commit self mutilation. I give power to the lie.
Such institutionalized misery can only be undone by uncompromising men and women who put principles and conscience before comfort, or even before their own lives. All throughout history, this is how wrong is undone. No society ever changed for the better by casting aside their beliefs and their individualism. No society ever changed for the better by choosing the lesser of two evils. No society ever changed for the better by holding out the hand of friendship to despots, maniacs, and con-men in the hopes that they would be spared just a little less tragedy before their time on this Earth is over…

Give me a break! Love him or hate him,"high treason"???? That is crazy. He has done mostly what all the guys before him have done. I wanted a radical president... this is not the guy.
The answer is Vote for Ron Paul. He has never voted for tax increases does not believe in ndaa, sopa and is the only true option. He is the answer.
Why didn't Ron Paul vote against the NDAA and SOPA?
The answer is Vote for Ron Paul. He has never voted for tax increases does not believe in ndaa, sopa and is the only true option. He is the answer.
If voting could change anything it would be illegal
Like all interested bystanders, I prefer to snack on the weakened victor.
Brandon seems to be offering his own false dichotomy, the refusal to participate in a flawed process versus being the victim of process. One could easily reach the conclusion with this false dichotomy that violent revolution is the only means to the ends you seek. There are many ways to vote, there are more than two choices here and there is more than one election to vote in.
While it is populist to decry the flawed system, failing to vote means failing to resist the worst that Democracy has to offer - the statist model. In this election season, a failure of the liberal to vote is a de facto vote for Romney. Likewise the failure of a conservative or libertarian to vote is a de facto vote for Obama. There is nothing theoretical or honorable about the results of not participating in the process.
Be that as it may, in the end if Obama wins, the statist model is assured within your lifetime and economic ruin will be the result with a severe loss of liberty. Voting for Romney may delay the inevitable but the delay MAY allow enough opportunity to effect changes for the better to reverse the trend line. There are no guarantees in life, and there is certainly no guarantee of liberty's inevitability in democracy either. For those counting on economic catastrophe to implement a better economic order be warned that Obama's people are counting on exactly the same thing to TRANSFORM this society to their liking and are willing to roll the dice with your lives.
I shall put it plainly, IF the idiots and fools have multiplied to the extent they re-elect Obama to enhance their state of dependency then your dreams of liberty in America are over. Which brings me to the false dichotomy of revolution versus slavery. In a Republic you deserve the government you get, after all you voted (or failed to vote) for it. Therefore none of you are worth dying for in a revolution. The true American, all the immigrants who rolled the dice for a better opportunity against the status quo of their homeland, have one central thing in common, the freedom of movement to determine their own fate. E.g. Look at Detroit, the true Americans left a morbund single party city run as a fiefdom for liberal Democrats and unions with the result the city has depopulated leaving the rent seekers to their own fate and inevitable downfall. So too IF the great experiment fails here, all the true Americans will vote with their feet for other parts of the world that extend the opportunity. America is no longer the only game in town.
Ultimately, the fate of the US is set by the elites who run the country for now. Their failure to accept the consequence of voting with our feet will spell their own doom. We of course being risk takers and investors/producers have the principles of succeeding elsewhere. It therefore is our responsibility to warn the elites their actions and choices have consequences. Impose and usurp to their harm or act in a benign fashion. How did the millionaires tax work for Maryland? Not so well did it? I can purchase land anywhere I choose and plant my flag. The question pushing my own decision process is based on how many problems you cause me. You cause me more problems than I can mitigate, then screw you, I'm leaving.
The political system will not solve your problems. I would think a real libertarian would spend his resources elsewhere.
correct answer. This problem is not going to be solved at the ballot box, or by choosing what shows you will watch on TV.
Just wait until you can vote from home. The system is already a joke, but wait until the process is made even easier. Voting will be made as easy as picking the TV show you want to watch.
On the real issues they are exactly the same, war, economy, constitutionality they both share the same positions. The Patriot Act, the NDAA are things that Mittens supports and while he is using the economy to win the election he would ahve done exactly yhe same thing as Obama - because other people dictate tose positions, the President is nothing more then a pawn of the oligarchs.
Both will continute to destroy the country because that is clearly the plan. Reduce America to nothing more than a nation of debt slaves that continually transfer their wealth to the elites. Bush and Obama have successfully taken America to this place, 16 Trillion dollars in debt growing every second, stealing from the citizens every second, lying about basically everything that is happening (and has happened), it goes on and on.
Whoever gets elected won't finish their term because the people will rise up well before that and take back the country, this is simply because we will have no choice. Wait until the banks start taking collateral on a massive scale, the mortgage debacles we've seen so far are nothing compared to what is coming. At the same time we'll see the laws and executive orders recently signed start to be implemented on a grand scale, its gonna get so ugly from here.
I just read (here of course) that Rand is now officially supporting Mittens. I'm done with him but I was after he signed the bill to give the oil companies continued support! He is no different than all the rest and frankly he has turned my opinion of Ron as well - soory but I think Ron only cares about positioning for his son and not the American people. You can't endorse somebody like Romney or Obama and expect to get my vote. We have nothing to look forward to but more of the same only worse...
We are all about to live through the collapse of Europe, China, the US, Great Britian, Japan, Australia and ultimately all the others. This will inevitably lead to massive war since no country wants 50% of their young males home without jobs or a chance of a job - can you say revolution? Instead of "let them eat cake" it becomes "let them kill themselves, more for us" - that's the mantra from people like Christine ("I'm a stinky French cunt") Laguarde to every technocrat in Europe as well as every federal politician in the US. People like her need to go the Marie Antoinette (sp?) route!
The freight train coming is starting to shake the ground, we can all feel it now. Some people are wondering what it is while others (ZHers) are preparing for the inevitable. I've educated as many people as possible and most are totally unaware of what to do, they just freeze and stick their head in the sand. By the end of the year we will see things degrade to a level beyond anything ever experienced by humans before, a complete and utter collapse of not just our financial systems but also our societies.
Gold, guns and food. Silver, bullets and water. Family, friends and neighbors. It is these things that will be most vital in the coming months and even years before we are able to purge the greed and corruption from society (assuming we can) and then start to rebuild. I still believe in capitalism achored in a republic, but we need to find a way where those systems can remain dictinct and automatically purge themselves of the inevitable corruption stemming from humans intrinsic drive to survive.
I just put a final order in for additional Au and Ag, not worried at this point about the price just trying to make sure I get the metals before we have days where they gap up 10%. I now have enough silver to make about 10 cruise missles and enough gold to buy a really nice car, in todays terms. By the end of the year I expect to be able to buy a house with the gold and apartment building with the silver! The people with the real wealth will be in a position to acquire assets that they otherwise never could have - wealth transfer for those that are ready. Make sure you are ready, the current prices for PMs should be considered a red-tag special like at Kmart, back up the truck and forget about saving pennies on the price per oz - that won't matter in 6 months.
Good luck Zhers, spread the word to friends, family and neighbors - at least make them aware of the situation and point them here (or other places) to continue to research, then it is on them...
and do what with it? open up pawn shops? the banks would be looted first and accounts emptied out until frozen.
I refuse to believe that either of these men are either bad people or come/came to office with the intent of harming others. Having said that until this sitting President starts answering questions relative to media reports of "having an enemies list" and "personally ordering the killing of people including Americans" I'm not only not on board I'm on the "get me the hell out of here" brigade. Needless to say "there have been no denials from these various stories reported in the New York Times" which is surprising since I imagine "they have an app for that" too.
The political battle is lost. It's time to commit our forces elsewhere, or we will lose the war entirely.
It will start in Europe - again. Maybe this time there will be a true revolution in the US. One can only wish the stupid Brits are going to diss that stinky old monarchy of theirs as well. So much to do, so little time.
This entire post reads like my own comments that I have been posting all over the "conservative" blogosphere for at least six years now. Every election, nose-holding Republicans argue LOTE (surrender) forcing constitutionalists like me to have to pay again for the same real estate every election cycle only to again surrender it to the one-party establishment and their dirty money. Our government has been taken over by the dirty globalist money and they play voters like a fiddle just as described in this post.
If voters insist on seeing the world in cartoonish terms, the best argument I can make in undermining our entrenched criminal class of elected weasels is this: Incumbent? Vote them out. Simple and effective.
collective government seeks moral flexibility? you confuse collective with tribal, and tribal morals are not as flexible as those in industrial society, where you can change wives, change jobs, change roles in society, and without question. in fact you are encouraged to do so. the benchmark of the American economy is mobility, the workers follow the jobs. and American culture has always been at odds with the Catholic Church over divorce and conception, both inflexible policies.
the phrase Moral Relativism belongs to Great Communicator, Ronald Reagan. Reagan was the champion of this hippy dippy logic, blame the hippies (licentiousness, welfare cadillac queens) and then apply these same loose, deregulatory policies to the economy. (and hand out corporate welfare by the bucketload)
then you make speeches about good and evil. what crap.
the Fascists in Europe in the 30's had tribal rules down solid. they of course were sworn enemies of the collectivists (Soviets).
now the point about Obama is that he is a champion of double talk. and the GOP hates him because its not their brand of double talk.
the best thing that can happen, is to restore the checks and balances to the three branches of government in roughly the form the FF envisioned. we need to make the office of the Presidency less relevant in our lives, and the Peoples house, more relevant, which makes SCOTUS less onerous (speaking of activist judges, yes the GOP hates them unless they are appointing them).
Obama should be the last of these post modern Presidents, who were made Unitary Deciders because of the fear of nuclear war. we have more pressing problems, like killer Presidents making personal drone attacks from the WH. (i've come to appreciate Clintons weakness as being somewhat harmless) better a blow job than a blown up job.
Obama promises all sorts of things, Romney promises nothing, take away their power. period.
Boss Tweed said, "I don't care who does the electing as long as I get to do the nominating."
Exactly. It's a selection, not an election, for everything but local elections. Even those are heavily controlled.
Two words:
Ron Paul
No person has done more harm to this country than the manchild in the white house. Who knows how much more can be done in 4 more years.
We hired him to solve our problems and he made them worse, period. Time to change Presidents. It's that simple.
But it's not that simple. It CAN get worse. There is no choice, no hope, no change, no nothing new under the sun. It's all bad.
So, 9/11 wasn't so bad, eh? You're a fukin idiot.
That manchild in the White House is owned and controlled by the CIA and their Zionist buddies.
There is no lesser. They are both globalist, debt-loving, war-loving, Fed-loving fiat-loving elites. There is no choice between these two.
And the above are the real issues on which the republicrats do not differ. No, they'd rather distract us with who would kill a baby sooner and on whom first to spend money we don't have. Oh, but don't include military spending in the talk on the debt. God fukking forbid.
anyone voting for either romney or obama - the latter a confirmed murderer - is either a blithering fucktard or a nazi.....i believe without doubt that bush crime syndicate favorite romney will continue in the footsteps of bush and obama by continuing to murder americans....
write in another candidate, vote for the constitution party candidate, or don't vote if you think either democrat or republican makes a difference.....
Why Choose The LESSER Of Two Evils?
CTHULHU FOR PRESIDENT!!!
I will never willingly comprimise my principles or my freedom, NEVER.
I will never willingly comprimise my principles or my freedom, NEVER.
Good read.I lost faith after the Ron Paul fiasco. Another great example of Mitt the flipp.

As a child I wondered at the cruelty of the French that employed the guilottine day and night wiping out an entire class of people. Ghenghis Khan who laid waste to everything he conquered so not even a meme of the civilization remained. But now, I understand.
There is no left or right anymore, there is only one. There is no blood on our streets, this war is all psychological, spinning illusions of choice. In the last 5 years, 93% of the printed money has been hoovered up by the 1%, while the 99% have lost over 40% of their net worth. They are winning. Small government, no unions, no voice of the people. A huge army and militarized police for good measure. Talk about the birth places and how they treat their dogs, wallow in the non issues like abortions and gay rights. Islam and Christianity. Indulge yourselves with your petty positions, it's useful to make people think their dumb personal postiions makes a difference. None of it matters when you have no voice. Your pea shooters will be ineffective when they can immobilize you with sound from so far away you can't even see them to take aim. I can go on, but use your own brain. While we are caught up in noise, they have made very deliberate chess moves, it's almost check mate. Wake the fuck up!
'the 'gop' follows the eleventh commandment - 'thou shall speak no evil of ones brother', whereas the feeble dem's follow the agnostic credence of blind faith... in turn leaving but a small facsimile entourage of muted truthsayers,... indeed, the obstinate libertarian, as he juggles goporanges and demapples for accolades at the parliamentary gates in jest of the oxymoron 'hypocritical oath' on display - whilst, the meandering proletariat muses their lust for simpler days - where freedom was once espoused as the 'living word', as the once word of god... is to the atheist way, a darwinian castaway'
being an independent, i must say... that four more years of o`mama is just to much pain --- i don't care for rand paul at all, period!
Ps. still pondering writing in Ron Paul for President!
great read, thankyou
This idea below is crazy
Idea below is feasible & can be made viral
I think that we need to consider what they consider low probability outcomes. For instance the independent party getting a large % of the vote. We did this successfully in MN with the election of Jesse Ventura... You should've seen the stablishment, it was a very strong message.
Not voting doesn't affect them, they don't care. But voting in a crazy way, they will care and react.
For instance the OWS can scream and camp all they want to and they won't care, but if the OWS movement started asking people to vote outside the two main parties, i.e. the independent party, then they'd care.
We'd breaking out the system that they so carefully are maintaining. We'd be exposing the lie.
I agree with this. That's why it was OK for (T) party supporters to show up at armed rallies, while unarmed OWS protestors got maced and beaten.
TPTB knew it was a Dick Armey astroturf movement and it had already been safely co-opted.
ROCKY ! ROCKY !

Potemkin leaders of a Potemkin party of a Potemkin country using Potemkin money and all being reported by a Potemkin press....
The evil of the lesser two. Ron Paul or bust.
My cousin in California argues that by not voting Obama, it gives the repugnants a clear road to steal what's left faster.
Me, I'd definitely go with his opinion on that. Seeing as he's smart enough to stay in CA and all
So your cousin is essentially admitting that by voting Obama the theft will be slower?
Tell your cousin to give his head a shake. We're done either way. A few more weeks, months or maybe years won't make a difference.
Obama is the pigmen's best guarantee that the masses will stay put and not pick up their pitchforks. Just depends on how cocky and arrogant the pigmen feel.
When pigmen overreach and feel too cocky, they get slaughtered. Pigmen need everyone else to work for them. If everyone else is angry and tapped out, pigmen have to wipe their own arses. History is full of dead pigmen with dirty arses.
Appreciate the comments.
Ask your cousin which state is more broke, California or Texas. And then ask that cousin again who steals faster.
"Romney’s close relationship with Orit Gadiesh and Israeli military intelligence is the real reason he is the chosen candidate of the Zionist establishment. Romney is being supported by high-level Zionists, Israeli military intelligence, and their controlled media network."
A snippet from a fascinating new report by Veteran Today's Gordon Duff. It's not limited to Mutt Rimjob. Not hardly.
Btw, Gordo is a non-agenda bound Jew. He fought in Vietnam. Knows many interesting people and things due to years of serving the intel community as the owner of a company selling "services" to them.
Enjoy the piece!
A must read!
Diversity is bad as stated by US citizenism.
So why want diverse political options? yep, US citizen consistency.
US citizen manner of speaking, it is very cool if the US of A has managed to eliminate diversity in political options.
Because guess what? Diversity does not work.
The moral equivalence argument is used when nothing else works. Obama has been a failure and his presidency will be recorded in history as such because of his inability to draw any compromise on his ideals. Leaders lead and in reality not all guys are cut out to lead as we have found out the hard way with Obama.
The moral relativism of the “lesser of two evils” philosophy has been draining the heart and soul of America for decades.
________________
Decades or centuries? Because well, US citizenism is about double standards. From the beginning.
-------------
There is no “grand battle” between left and right for the minds of the masses. It is a sham. A con. A fantasy. A false paradigm.

US citizens dealing with fantasy and propaganda. Always pleasurable. Always lay way to their own propaganda and fantasy. Cause US citizens can not stand others behaving the US citizen way.

He is lost…

So US citizen representatives support US citizenism. What a surprise. How unexpected. Should not they be traitors to US citizenism if they did not support US citizenism?

Here’s some math for you: there are two candidates for President of the United States, one is a cannibalistic serial killer who plans to murder 20 more people with his own hands while in office. The other is a cannibalistic serial killer who only plans to kill 19 innocents personally. Which candidate do you support?
The correct answer is NEITHER.
__________________________________
The correct US citizen answer is both or either. As long as the cannibalistic serial killers do not kill the US citizen voter.
As cannibalism refers to people from the same species, it will be even better if instead it could be non human or sub man flesh eating serial killers. This way, it would make sure that well, human beings are not eaten.
I always enjoy the bumpersticker: "Vote Cthuluhu: Why choose the lesser evil?"
Topical. Because the lesser evil wont let you wish you'll be eaten first.
Your vote has been nullified long ago. When the only choice is between two bought-and-paid-for-bank-whores, then the ONLY choice is a........bought-and-paid-for-bank-whore.
Ever heard this? "Divide and conquer." "A house divided against itself cannot stand."
The greatest, wealthiest, most powerful country the world has ever seen is a real time example of those phrases. Because all you dummies out there have never read your CONTRACT with your government (just like you have never read your auto insurance policy and feel like you don't need to.......until you've had a wreck), don't know your rights, don't feel the need to defend your rights, have no clue how to stand up for your rights, and believe the gov (and banks) are on your side and looking out for your interest. WAKE THE HELL UP PEOPLE! The reason we have a 4th and 5th Amendment is not to protect us from some radical with an AK half way around the world. WE HAVE A CONSTITUTION AND BILL OF RIGHTS TO PROTECT US FROM OUR OWN GOVERNMENT!
That leads us to the conclusion that WE NEED protection from our own government. Our founders new this first hand and we are learning it daily and it will only get worse because, "all that is necessary for evil (men) to abound, is for good men to do nothing." I find most people don't want to believe there are evil men out there. Well tooooo bad! There are, always have been, and always will be. That is why Jefferson wrote, "the tree of liberty must be watered FREQUENTLY by the blood of patriots and tyrants". Because it is a never ending struggle between good and evil, right and wrong. The fight goes on and will NEVER end. Patriots (of liberty) are the good guys and tyrants (against liberty) are the bad guys. Problem today is that the lines between right and wrong, good and evil have been blurred. Most people struggle with the most basic principles of right and wrong. THANK YOU PUBLIC SCHOOL SYSTEM! FOR THAT GIFT TO SOCIETY. THANK YOU UNIVERSITIES FOR YOUR CONTRIBUTION OF SITUATION ETHICS.
Case in point and then I will be done. In my state right now there is a bill on the floor of the state legislature that states that "life begins at conception". There is a big push by the conservatives here to get this passed and of course the "pro-choice" people are against it. Now I am not going to argue the issue. I am pro-life and see clearly that it is a fact that life begins at conception just as 2 + 2 = 4. BUT I am against this bill. Because I don't need a LAW to tell me that the world is round or that the sun sets in the west or that water is wet, or that fire is hot. HOW RIDICULOUS! What the Congress passes or the President says is not the determination or right and wrong. The Supreme court at one time ruled that a black person was not a human being and that was the law of the land. Was is RIGHT? Well hell no, it wasn't right, and we didn't need a politician or lawyer to tell us.
Find out what is right, what is real, what is fact and stand on it come hell or high water. Quit being pushed around by public opinion, the media, or some idiot with a law degree. And for the love of God and country write in a good person on the ballot and don't vote for one of these banking whores.

I have also heard the argument that by refusing to participate within the system, and by refusing to choose a specimen from the carnival of horrors we are presented every election cycle, we are doing more harm to America than good. This is the most prevalent falsehood of our era.
______________
Non participation must come early. The more you wait, the more it appears you want to quit the game not because the rules are insane but because you no longer benefit from the rules and are unable to change them. Until the game was turning to your benefit, it was all okay, as soon as the game is no longer, well, it is a different story.
That is what you call being a sore loser.
If Romney is elected, it could be the beginning of the end of the Republican party. He won't fix the economy because he has no intention of sufficiently cutting spending to prevent the inevitable collapse. With collapses in two consecutive Republican administrations, it will be a cold day in hell when another is elected. The Republicans won't reform until the number of votes for third party candidates equals the margin of difference
That's why I would prefer Obama in office rather than Romney, I want him to be held responsible when TSHTF.
Meanwhile best thing to do is to not vote at all and keep a clear conscience.
If you don't vote, you can say truthfully: "I didn't vote for that sonofbitch."
the GOP ended several years ago, probably at Reagan, but definitely at W Bush. so far Romney hasn't said anything, including who his VP choice might be, when Ford took office the GOP rules stated that the candidate did not have to announce his VP until AFTER he won at the convention. the QOP, quirky old party, is gone, and with it room for individuals like Goldwater, and Ron Paul. Romney is a centrist, liek Obama.
you shouldnt' say reform has BEEN the problem but it happened that way. now all Presidents are career bureaucrats, who simply manage the ship of state AS THEY FIND IT. Obama found a prison full of terror suspects with no proof or charges, and GITMO and the war on terror will still be there when he leaves. Afghanistan will still be there probably. covert wars will be going all over the place, half of DOD is black contracts. you can't touch most of it, even if you're POTUS. the only hope is new congressional authority and the GOP really wants to abdicate all the War Powers, to the President and Monetary Authority to the FED, Ron Paul is like the flip side of Dennis Kuchinich. both belong to the main party, but neither has any influence, and both might as well be independents.
I appreciate this article very much!...
Maximus.
Easy to whine about the failure of democracy, which is really just the natural progression of "capitalism"... soul-less corporations, programmed to max profits and nothing else, naturally end up, like a cancer, destroying the host. As part of their programming, bribing politicians, regulators, judges, etc, is a very cost effective way to maximize returns through systems control. "Benefit to society" is simply not part of the programming, and, naturally, the 1%, who are closely associated with these flesh-eating corporations, prosper, while the rest of the people are gradually reduces to being broke and powerless. Several great Americans warned continually about this, Jefferson, Jackson, Eisenhower, etc...
The author is understandable frantic, but his conclusions, are faulty and misguided, and he offers no solutions but individual revolt, which is ineffective. The target is NOT the political system, which, though faulty, has worked for a long time, but the corruption engendered by the economic system... (corporatocracy) which has brought us to the edge of financial and systemic collapse via the simple and cost effective tool of massive bribes (campaign contributions, lobbying and reduction of or elimination of vital regulation/controls or outright corruption of the regulators).
It's a republic, if we can keep it.
why do you want a Republic? ...where'll that get you in a hurry!
why not want freedom?
the name of a land mass is a good tag, the rest (Govt, flags, anthems etc) are pure political fabrications to corral the sheeple into a belief system that corrals the sheeple
you are an individual, not a serf tagged to a State (bunch of thieving parasites)
Where did I say that is what I wanted? A republic certainly beats known alternatives.
Be he saint or sinner, the whole idea of some all-powerful President of the US, upon whose every word we're supposed to hang - as he issues edicts & executive-orders from On High, like some demented Zeus farting out thunderbolts- is not only childish & immature but dangerous as well as laughable & ludicrous.
Time for the office of the Presidency to shuffle off into the dustbin of history. That also goes for the CONgress.
Withdraw your consent to being dictated-to by these charlatans - DON'T VOTE.
Butt Plug - 2012
Mocha or Tan - your choice.
"Democracy is the theory that the common people know what they want, and deserve to get it good and hard." -- H. L. Mencken
uh uh uh uh oh oh oh oh ooooooooooooohhhhhhhhhhhhhh oh god oh god uh uh uh I'm voooottttiinnngggg.
Good article B. Smith
What do Obama and Romney differ on? Well they agree on:
Oh - they do disagree on one thing:
Who gives a fuck about that?
I am supposed to chose between these two fucktards because the BIG issue is gay marriage? REALLY?? This whole fucking election boils down to gay marriage? Something I couldn't give less a damned about? It's not about basic civil rights, spending, government intervention in free markets, the lack of prosecution of massively criminal frauds - not, it's about fucking gay marriage.
....
Dear Americans, enjoy the grave you have dug. You deserve it. I can take solace in that, you stupid fucking voters are going to get exactly what you deserve, you're going to get screwed.
Bill Black continues to define our problem:
http://neweconomicperspectives.org/2012/06/house-republicans-try-to-crea...
"There are others out there who would applaud Rand Paul’s decision. While many of them will openly admit that they do not feel very secure in the shadow of a Romney presidency, they still rationalize their position by making the “lesser of two evils” argument."
Actually I applaud Rand Paul's decision not because I use the "lesser of two evils" argument, but because I think it's better for Rand to have some influence and power than none. The author of the article doesn't seem to understand that it isn't a black and white thing. There is a large grey area where we try to influence government step by step. Sitting at the sides like Ron Paul makes you look good, but it does absolutely nothing for liberty, because it gives the power away to those who rob us of our liberties.
Rand is important, and endorsing Romney is a tactical step towards more liberty. Of course one first has to have the intelligence to grasp this.
Sucking Romney's ass so hard as to vaccuum the shit out of him isn't a way to attain power and influence.
Paul didn't gain influence by doing that. He started an entire movement by doing the exact opposite. Obama is suckiing blood out of Neoconserviative dick right now bending over backwards and doing every single thing that Bush was criticized for doing. Is he gaining power and influence?
How can you compare Rand with Obama? Yes I think Rand is playing the game until he gains more influence. Do you want him to be the next Ron Paul? Not saying that Ron Paul didn't influence politics at all, but it's very limited. A passive attitude will get you nowhere. I leave you with a quote:
One of the penalties for refusing to participate in politics is that you end up being governed by your inferiors. - Plato
Gee, I don't know. How can I compare a guy that has no priniciples and has demonstrated it with a guy that has no principles who just demonstrated it?
I already know he isn't.
What I wanted was somebody with a pair of balls, not a guy that was going to suck his way to the top.
Wait, I have TWO choices?
I feel one THUMB up my ASS
Well yeah, you have two choices...the choice of what color skin the thumb bears that is getting jammed up your ass. That's the only difference between the options, really.
Hire Mitt and it's a Bush Third Term. I cans smell the same old neocon policies coming around the bend again.
4th Term unless you can think of a policy of Bush's that Obama overturned. Was it..
So, stop with this BS that Obama changed anything or he's somehow better than Romney, or worse. All we have is Bush right now, with a great tan, after a diction class. Doesn't matter who the country elects in November, we're going to get Bush again.
I'm with Gerald Celente. He's absolutely disgusted by the Liberals. All the justifiable criticism of Bush just vaporized when Hope and Change took over. Unprincipled party loyalist scumbags.
Yeah...GOP Is a panacea...I'm persuaded...I'm voting for Mitt. I miss the neocon fuck ups.
How can you miss the point I just made?
There aren't two parties. There is one.
Vote for Romney or Obama and you are giving your consent to what they are doing. They will enact the same policies. If you vote for either one of them, you are giving your consent to their policies. There, that should be stated very clearly now, enough so that anybody can understand it. There's one party with two names. Obama is as much as a Neocon as Bush was, and so is Hillary Clinton. Look at their voting record.
Nobody with two braincells to rub together think the issues are gay marriage, flag burning, or school prayer. These are not issues, they are not issues that really effect the nation at all. The fundamental issues are the solvency of the nation, the circumstances in which we go to war, how we declare war, and fundamental constitutional rights. In regard to actual issues, the Democrats and the Republicans agree 100%.
You live in a nation in which the government has declared that any US citizen can be murdered once they somehow determine you are a terrorist without charge or trial, and in which they have said they can detain you indefinitely without charge or trial. Romney and Obama agree on that, and if you vote for either one of those fucks, you're saying you agree with it too. So if you want to be stupid, you can vote for either Romney or Obama - who cares? Most people are fucking stupid anyhow, which is why we have "people" like Romney and Obama.
You can complain about the government all you like, but the real problem lies with people like you. Is that crystal clear?
Two sides of the same coin as they say.
And the libertarian way doesn't hold out much attraction for me as well. They may fear and hate gov't, but a corporate tyranny in it's place doesn't endear me in the least. I swear the only play libertarianism can work is in North Dakota, where your nearest neighbor can be 10 miles away. I'd wonder how that political philosophy would work in the Northeast corridor with it's density.
So a fourth party?
****
MY instant disgust with the GOP was brought about by watching them during the Bush admin turn the financial world into anarchy. Yes, Clinton did help to pave the way for the repeal of Glass-Steagall. But watching the Bush junta incensed me. Now I see Mitt hiring the very same people that we saw serve under Bush.
All I see is a Bush Third Term should Mitt win.
When I hear Mitt speak of deregulation, laissez faire and how this will save us all...sorry, I'm not persuaded in the least.
As for the elites who run this world, they brought their own instability by screwing with and finally killing the very system they purport to love, capitalism.
Every week this guy goes to some meeting, and every week it disappoints him and sets him off on some tirade, which is actually the same rant over and over again. Apparently everybody is always wrong and clueless and lost except for him, without exception. I suspect the only thing that could ever make him happy would be if he was in charge of everything. With know-it-alls like this Smith and Krieger, I'm starting to get a bad feeling about the whole "liberty" thing. They seem to have cheapened the name, making the Liberty Movement sound like some sort of laxative.
Don't pick from ‘The Lesser Of Two Evils.’
Do What's Right. Write In Ron Paul 2012.
