America’s Iraq Experience: Invasi-Eradicavi-Turbavi
Julius Caesar undoubtedly was showing off with his Veni-Vidi-Vici (I came, I saw, I conquered) when referencing to his short war outside Zela (Zile) in Turkey over two millennia ago. Similarly, if we were to use a short catchy-comment for the almost nine years America has invested in its “Iraq Mission,” we would be on target by condensing the US experience in also three Latin words, although not as melodic this time: Invasi-Eradicavi-Turbavi which sadly stand for, I invaded, I destroyed and I threw-into-chaos.
No matter what the Pentagon and White House tell us, the fiasco in Iraq likely stands as the most costly mistake in America’s history, a true Keystone Kops type of political dark comedy. And it wasn’t a bad or flawed decision by a singular moron or group of morons – Bush the Younger, Sadist Cheney and Loquacious Rumsfeld composing the original warpath triumvirate, together with two dozen equally deranged staff of their inner circles. Unfortunately, this time Congress, together with a brainwashed public, closed rank with an evil and criminal White House. So, whether the American citizenry likes it or not… the Iraq conflict wasn’t just Bush’s war, but “the peoples’ war,” a war with a dangerous aftermath yet to come, one we’ll likely be paying for in the future with additional blood and treasure.
American mainstream media, true to their corporate ownership, are bringing us the images of the GIs returning home together with some white-washed commentary. The corporate media is careful not to turn this December event into a celebration, but grotesquely over-simplifies this empire’s adventure by summarily giving its cost as “an expensive war with 4,500 American casualties and 100,000 Iraqis killed.” There you have it: the sum total of our criminal intervention under the cry of “Democracy and Freedom”! In 1099 AD, it was the cry of Deus vult (God wills it) that led Christianity to its First Crusade and the capture of Jerusalem. Now it’s the pseudo-patriotic cry of defending our freedoms which takes to war thousands of miles away. Totally inane!
Yes, it has been (and continues to be) an expensive war, the true figures not properly made public. And, yes, the number of US casualties is probably around 4,500. But those 100,000 Iraqi deaths are only a fraction of the 500,000 to 1,000,000 range given by most credible accounts. However, even these figures don’t begin to tell the true holocaustic implications of decisions made in the White House during the months leading to the March 2003 invasion of Iraq.
What about the tens of thousands of US soldiers wounded or maimed? Or the hundreds of thousands of American military personnel mentally wounded? What about the millions, yes, millions, of Iraqis displaced from their homes? What about the suffering and depravation of the Iraqi population for many years after the invasion – water, electricity, safety concerns? What about the indignities suffered by an occupied people, where crimes committed by the occupying military were not properly punished… does anyone remember the incidents in Fallujah and Haditha among others?
It’s certainly not our intent to revisit the war, or to touch on Americans’ ignorance of what the war was all about. Our purpose is not to follow course in the treatment of the inefficacy of a war, whether in the battlefield or the Iraqis’ hearts, as the media seems to be portraying this great misadventure. We would like to take it a step further, truly show the idiocy of an empire whose civilian, military and academic leaderships were incapable to read history and, in the most basic fashion, extrapolate from it.
As the Ottoman Empire was dismantled in 1920, it was the League of Nations that really created the nation of Iraq, giving it its borders and putting Britain in charge. Ironically, it was a secular dictator, Saddam Hussein, who maintained rule and order in a country ethnically and religiously divided; and doing so with a Sunni minority, without true adherence from the Shiites and open defiance by the Kurds.
America’s introduction of democracy has consolidated the power of the majority Shia over the Sunnis, with Kurds exercising a great level of autonomy in their region. For the US, the political bottom line, outside of a shaky hand on the oil, could not have been any worse: Shiites don’t feel any sense of gratitude to America for being handed the power, and the ability to exact discriminatory-revenge against the Sunnis. In fact, inadvertently, the US has been matchmaker to the romance taking place between Iran and Iraq.
Is the rebirth of the Persian Empire something imminent as Iran achieves the status of being the next nuclear power?
The last 18,000 American troops are coming home from Iraq this month. We ask ourselves if the White House and the Pentagon are planning to send 500,000 more in the near future as Israel prepares to defend its nuclear hegemony in the region.

Tony, the closet puppet of Rome.
3.8 rating. Tea Party came, saw headline, voted down rating, left without making comments.
Drive by morons usually don't have much to say. When they do, it quickly becomes obvious .
These 10 year long wars are by design, not accident.............
The United States Emassy in Iraq is 20,000 strong.. the personal number is 20,000.. this is not a made up number..
typical embassy staff number ='s 50.. or 100 for a large staff.

Despite the US's declared withdrawal of its military personnel and contractors out of Iraq, Washington has prepared to control the country's rich oil reserves in any case, shared Ranjit Singh Kalha, former India's ambassador to Iraq in the 1990s. Having spent $3 trillion in Iraq, a country with harsh weather conditions (+50 C most of the time) and absolutely nothing valuable but oil reserves, the Americans simply cannot give up the plentiful and very high quality oil they went there for. "It takes $1.50 to take out this oil that's just below the surface. Anybody who has access to this oil can be a game changer -- as far as the politics of oil is concerned," Ranjit Singh Kalha concluded. The problem Americans encountered in Iraq is that once given "some symbols" of democracy, the Iraqi voted for a Shia-led government. The headache is that the Shia traditionally have close links with Iran, the core territory of this affiliation. "That is the present dilemma. If you withdraw from Iraq completely, you leave this vast oil wealth of Iraq in the hands of Shia (Iran-oriented) government. And therefore it upsets the political balance in the Middle East," Ranjit Singh Kalha explained. He said that to counter such adverse developments the US will have almost 20,000-strong embassy in Baghdad (the largest US embassy in the world) and consulates in Basra, Kerkuk and in northern Kurd-inhabited territory, each consulate 1,000-strong. "Americans cannot afford to be completely absent from Iraq," the former ambassador argued, adding he does not see any lessening of American influence in Iraq. Iraq is a multi-confessional country and to curb religious extremism all previous country's rulers had to be very tough with the population, the diplomat stressed. In Saddam's Iraq most of the military and law enforcement was Sunni and the rule of law was first of all a rule of military power preventing sectarian violence. Today's Iraq is ruled by Shia government which does not have the necessary experience of ruling with an iron fist, so the country risks a full fledged civil war to start at any time given. American troops will not go far from Iraq -- they will be re-deployed to next door Kuwait.
gee, why do you suppose so many stay there? to guard the eastern border of the land called eretz yisrael perhaps........which was the only damn reason this war was ever fought in the first place. it had nothing to do with oil. but everything to do with the right wing likudniks in israhole who want to see their zionist dreams of a greater israel accomplished and what better way to do that than to trick the dumb stupid amerikans into doing it for them..........so it happened and the fools went to the slaughter like the good little cows they are...........idiots.......
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Land_of_Israel
so please. all of you worshipers of soldiers , spare the whiniing and the bitching and cry me a river over your "service" whatever that silly word means and for your losses............well , nobody held a gun to your head and made you join up.....you joined on your own volition and so now ten years later, many of them still do whatever it is they are told..........i do not support the troops and never have......there is no dichotemy here. none whatsoever. there is no distinction when someone is doing something wrong it doesn't matter who it is, i am against them, even if they are members of my own country..........case closed.......
it had everything to do with oil, but not in the way most people think. iraq has the most accessible oil, cheap to produce, easy to increace production and more importantly relatively cost free to shut production down. in other words compleate control over the price of oil.
zero to do with oil. that is just a cut out so to speak to mislead about the true intentions of this war.
read........project for a new american century , securing the realm...........
we are being used as mercenaries to shape and mold the middle east for the coming new world order which will be headquarterd in jerusalem....then the third temple will be built and the man of sin will sit in it and declare himself to be god..........etc etc.....
also american troops guard the pipeline to haifa from iraq, and in it, flows oil to the terrorist state of israhole............
Hey HPD....just because you have trouble walking and chewing gum at the same time, I guess you think everyone else does. Why does it have to be about only one thing? If you think oil was not a prime part of the ongong motivation for our stupidity, you are letting your hatred blind your vision.
can't you see what is happening? the communist neocon jews needed to get moving on eretz yisrael. but they were bogged down in party politics on the left and they could not get any meaningful coalitions going in order to get something started over in the middle east. then they came up with the idea of changing parties and becoming "conservatives" and then they were called neocons. then they started talking up the idea of god's chosen people to the christians and then they helped to form the moral majority and they influenced christian television preachers to start talking about getting christians to start voting. i know about this stuff because i was in it and i saw it first hand. i can tell you that at one time christians in this country were told that poltiics was a dirty business and for us to stay away from it and then many did just that. but along came these neocon jews who started the ball rolling on the moral majority movement . this was done to harness the christian right vote and this they did. the whole purpose was the get the wars started in the middle east as they have been now for 20 some odd years in order to mold the middle east the way the jews want it formed. so far so good. the jews along with some traitors in our own government did 911 and this was used a pretext for war , a war that bush said himself may last a hundred years and for what? chasing a enemy that cannot be found , a enemy created for us out of whole cloth and during all of these wars we help out israhole foreign policy goals which is the overall aim of the neocon jews in the republican party
this is just skimming the surface my friend. you must read and research all of this yourself. you must wakeup....
the neocons and their involvement in protestant religion. let me blunt here shall i. the jews hate jesus christ. let us be plain about that shall we. make no mistake about it. when you hear a man like irving kristol say , well we need a good and moral society, make sure you know he is lying his jewish ass off..........they are just using us for their own goals in the middle east because they have hoodwinked the christians into thinking they are God's chosen people, which they are not and never were and never have been......
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=704FsyqqVHo
this whole thing about the jews and their so-called history is totally false as related by shlomo sand, professor of history at tel aviv university in his book............the invention of the jewish people..........where the zionist appropriated a false history from the bible in order to fool the christian idiots in this country who fell for it , hook line and sinker........
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=1EmvANgw9Mk
the push within the christian community perhaps started with the scammer, liar and fraud, cyrus scofield and his "notes" that he included in his bibles. interesting isn't it that this liar probably never wrote one damn thing in those bibles and how they all seemed to start showing up in christian seminaries in this country. after this the infiltration was just getting started. to infiltrate something you must start where their leaders come from, no ? so they did. powerful influencial and wealthy new york jews ( Untermeyer, Gompers, Baruch, Schiff ) saw that this idiot scofield could be useful so they buddied up with him and helped him and used him..... the infiltration and push within the christian community by the zionist was in full force even then in the early 1900's....
http://www.sweetliberty.org/issues/hoax/scofield.htm
you say this war was about oil.........well perhaps you were correct to a degree
the pipeline to haifi which is open now and is guarded by us troops . .....as i have stated above.......
and where may i ask does this pipeline go to? where indeed......
http://www.nogw.com/download/_07_kirkuk_to_haifa_oil_pipeline.pdf
and there you have just a bit to chew on.......if you dare,, which i doubt............
I will say Thank You! for the GREAT! Info!!
and Merry Christmas Bro! to You and Yours of course!!
I really liked the map (pdf)!
Well if the rant is useless then what is left, ballot, something else, can you enlighten us on the path to make the rant useful, we are all begging you. Since this "rant" is not particularily embellishing, and refusing the usual narrative, I have one question related to the use of the word "idealized". Do you mean that the word idea should be removed from the sequence of events and that utter chaos is behind those sequences, and insanity is what drives events? Maybe it is the case for the people behind those decisions and maybe absolute obscurity and/or illusion of understanding using pre-fabricated reasoning ad absurdum is what runs the decision process of the decision makers. While the readers of this blog like to debunk the pretence of equilibrium in the affairs of the world , the also want to denounce those who bask in absurdity, denounce those defenders of Kafka-like system. The readers here refuse to accept absurdity, because it is a guide to perdition. This the first step, no surrender to absurdity.
"pretence of equilibrium in the affairs of the world "
Evil is far more Kafkaesque than linear. The more the Puppet Masters can make things seem absurd, the more they can distance themselves from their dirty deeds.
Corzine, "if I just had access to the papers back at my desk, then I could tell you whether I was at work last Friday." Huh ? Open another door....
They may appear to be bumbling along, and they sometimes do, but the objective of stealing your money, robbing you of your self-worth, and stripping you of your humanity, is no less real than the Gulag Archipelago.
Preach it! ... nah, actually ... forget it ... the US pop surrendered to absurdity 60 years ago ...

But, but, but, every bad thing the US government ever did was caused by a Democrat.
Well, except for the war of northern aggression, eh Nmewn? Or was Lincoln a secret Democrat?
Surely Obama pulled the strings from his hideout in Nairobi to cause this fiasco.
There are a lot more differences between a can of PESPI and a can of COKE than between Democrats and Repulicans, it is a fake choice. I like natural orange juice.
granolageek,
Nmewn does not Hate DumboCrats any more than he Hates Repugnicants.
The Republicans and the Democrats are the same coin.. heads they win and tails we lose.
the sooner you realize the fact that Obama has torn down more public housing in 4 years than Bush did in 8.. the sooner you realize Obama is cutting thru the Constitution faster than Bush did, the sooner you realize that politics are to entertain the sheep! LOOK! and anti-abortion rally!
The sooner you will realize you are nothing more than a consumer, a sheepish consumer with no real future and no real say.
then the question becomes.. or after you boil down all the bullshit.. what the real question becomes is do you believe in the Constitution or do you believe in Procedural Law.
that’s the only real question.
everything boils down to that question.. abortion.. war(s).. ALL! of it boils down to the Constitution.
not really..
nothing matters except cheap energy.
and you use to much off it.. just like most of the world does.. yeah, yeah, yeah.. its a free country and you can talk about your feelings about this or that until your face turns blue.. to entertain yourself.. but you ego means nothing in the grande' scheme of things.
there are to, too many people using up to much energy.

Now I understand you don’t like any of these facts and they don’t make you happy..
so you hurry and get back to protecting the Dumbocrats because you feel like you can change someone’s mind thusly improving the world just a lil and doing your part!
all the while ignoring the larger problems and facts.. but as long as you feel good! that’s all that is important! http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=LmzeYYWntxw&feature=related
there are to many of us.. and the best way to get rid of us.. is to have us kill each other! YAYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYY!
then they can be the good guys.. and disarm us.. to save us from ourselves!
there will be no revolution.
they give the lazy American Public to much credit!
the majority is not getting off their fat asses to reach for the remote control 2 fucking feet away!
the majority will starve to death before fighting for what’s right!
the majority.. the sea of stupid.. is what all for us will drown in!
once again! sorry to interrupt!
Go Blue Team!
Red team is EVIL!! LOL!!
no more than the Blue Team! cause they are the SAME TEAM!
Ahh, but Nmewn does flame first and think later about any post that is not fawningly respectful of southern culture and/or the confederacy. It doesn't matter what else is in the post, he is blindly defensive. I've seen it several times.
And, I am not defending democrats, I am having fun on a frigid Sunday pointing out the searing hypocricy of the self-identified right. I'm voting Ron Paul in the primary. But, Bachman, Perry, Gingrich? They make Kucinich look good.
you are right. nmewn is one of those disgusting southerners. you are just pissed because he doesn't suck up to you blue bellies.....:)
Yup, Nathan Bedford Forrest had blacks and indians on his headquarters staff, so that means founding the Ku Klux Klan wasn't truly evil. Gotcha.
maybe I wasn’t clear enough about how easily people get side tracked by drama created and perpetuated thru the Corporate owned media?
southern v northern v red v blue
all sheepish banter to entertain the idiocy.
fucking get a hold of yourself.
Persia and Turkey, the two "gunpowder" empires will try to rise again. It is the current trend. Since the days of Nizam ul Mulk...Seljuk leader, this has been so, apart for the Mongol interlude. Then western presence later on from 18 century. If the Arab nation is thrown into total turmoil, the movement we call today 'Arab Spring' and which will continue in Syria, what was done in Libya, will destabilise the whole region. Saud will literally stand alone in Arab world. And they are not a power center of Arabs, never were since days of Umayyads.
The US is preparing against its own strategic interests this resurgence of old national traits. And Israel is now more and more isolated like the Crusader States of that medieval age. We know how that ended...Its not Nuclear power which will change anything, its human organisation. If the Turks and Iranians get organised, the new "Crusader state" will have to open dialogue like South Africa did, or disappear in its current apartheid form.
Pax Americana, Oil play and the inevitable re-emergence of old gunpowder empires; we are heading towards Sarajevo type situation, if this evolution gets out of hand.
falak pema
History does not exist outside the continental boundaries of America. Yer either with us or agin' us.
yes, Kay, I know, History began in 1776. ALL allusion to the past facts before that date is nonsense. Even Ahmednidjade is capable of understanding the US perpective. So go get him.
falak pema
I have this bad habit on not pushing the sarc button.
You must be getting a little tired watching the screen all day.
As the West fades, the old empires seek out their opportunities and old rivalries.
As the West fades, the old empires seek out their opportunities and old rivalries.
People's war my ass. I was 22 when that bullshit started, I was awake, aware, and took to the streets many times in protest of what was clearly a resource grab bundled in a fat corporate handout.
Furthermore, it saddens me that most people care primarily about the money wasted. Quit being a technocratic little Eichmann, and turn your empathy back on. Over 1,000,000 Iraqi dead. Over 4,000,000 Iraqi's displaced and made into refugees. Millions of people maimed. And now the slow death of depleted uranium -- over three thousand tons of it -- blowing around their country. The half life of 4.5billion years means it will be there for ever, causing massive birth defects, cancer, and illness. Google "Depleted Uranium birth defects," and tell me the US didn't commit these people to generations of hell.
It saddens me that 4500+ US and NATO troops died, believing they were fighting for one of several reasons, all obfuscating the several true reasons and that their families no longer have them, and it's unclear if that loss will have had any positive result, in that God forsaken desert shithole, over time. JMHO.
excellent commentary, particularly noting the tendency to weigh the "money" spent vs. the humans affected, whether by deaths, injuries or long term slow deaths from poisons - the TRUE weapons of mass destruction.
just wanted to add that depleted uranium is the gift that ignores nationality, does not recognise "good guys" over "bad guys" - every person stationed there, every mercenary, every ambassador, every ignorant tool of the corporate army - all will breathe this equally.
In the face of a massive overpopulation problem, people who believe in the value of human life prove themselves to be self-interested dimwits.
Not even WWII, with all its horrors, caused a dip in the graph of human population growth. We are a cancer upon this planet, and hippies like you, especially, with your made in China, plastic, Orwellian telescreens and Starbucks lattes are the worst of the lot.
What is common, cannot be good. You think the US is alone in committing atrocities? Murder is the nature of man. We evolved as hunter-killers, and you want to save lives? Why, so more murderous, ravenous, rapacious humans can use more oil, buy more iPads, rape more land, and do all of this before being able to get into space? 7 billion humans and continuing to expand exponentially. Use your brain, dumbshit. It's obvious to me that you think Huxley is a quack. Imbecile.
It "saddens" you, TDoS. What are you, a vagina? Men use logic and reason to achieve goals and dreams, or at the very least, to fix problems. Women worry about emotions. That is why men rule the world. Go cry and eat some ice cream, bitch.
And you say you're awake. rofl
I like Orwell, Huxley, and my iPad. Your move.
Patriot Act means every smartphone is a telescreen far more invasive than Orwell ever dreamt. But everyone has one. And loves it. Idiots.
When I speak of Huxley, I speak of Brave New World Revisited. The first book was fun, but not that informative.
And do you think they want to know that the mic and camera and the phone itself may be turned-on remotely without them knowing about it?
Nope. We're in a much more insideous system than Winston was.
Flashbangs and a Lorrie at 3AM will change that.
And whilst at it, google Agent Orange. And also US Syphilis experiment in Guatamala. CBW tests on US cities and civillians.
And the principle 'justification' for invading Iraq was...chemical WMD. More cases of immoral bipartisan US administration sockpuppet hypocrisy and double dealing anyone?
And mass murder and collateral death - Hiroshima, sponsored dictatorships,
Now the globe is declared 'US battlefield', so indefinite military detention with trial and in principle suspension of Habeas Corpus worldwide, all wrapped up in the flag of 'freedom and democracy'? 'With us or against us'? errrr....is there a choice?
Whilst many here on this blog are aware of these facts, many more buy into the MIC/media/Corporatocray of the US as the 'world's policeman'. Tthough now, like most local police departments, all dressed up in camo and armed with DoD surplus.
Does this go all the way through to Skynet, or do any readers have concrete suggested to wake the sheeple before the slaughter?
I watched a very interesting documentary on The Book of Revelations last night, and it's role as a text for the oppressed. Part of an excellent series on the history of the Bible. Link valid until Sunday 25th Dec:
http://www.sbs.com.au/ondemand/program/159/The-Bible-A-History
In 2003 the Republicans, the same ones that passed the Down Payment Assistance Program to get low income and minorities free money to purchase homes with bad credit and no capital, voted to create this war. They controlled the US Congress, The US Senate, The White House, The Justice Department, and of course the front page of the NYTimes, WSJ, WP, et etc etc.
You also fail to mention several hosts at MSNBC who were fired because they spoke out against the Iraq war, and how the Bush admin was handling it's case for war.
It seems people want to forget that the Iraq war, it prosecution, and it's aftermath are 100% a product of Conservative idealism. At the same time they passed this war resolution they lowered taxes, and gave free money to poor people and minorities, they then lowered interests rates to 1% and told people to shop shop shop (except don't buy any Dixi Chicks, or French wine)
What a sad joke.
"It seems people want to forget that the Iraq war, it prosecution, and it's aftermath are 100% a product of Conservative idealism."
neo-Conservative idealism.
RC -thank you --it's absolutely imperative that persons understand the distinction--
Bachman courts the neocons, Cheyner sucks up to the religious right. It's a distinction without a difference.
Listen to all the "real conservatives" attacking Obama for actually getting out of Iraq.
Garbage.
The rest of the world understands this. Why don't most Americans?
"The rest of the world understands this. Why don't most Americans?"
Beyond this shore, there be dragons...
For the same reason that Euopean tourists expect to find cowboys and indians riding the Chicago loop, and when they go to Canada, fur traders on Bay St.
And the germans visiting cousins in New Jersey that expected the grand canyon to be a day trip....
Because the rest of the world does not spend the afternoon listening to Rush Drugbo and the evening watching Faux News.
I feel as though the Iraq war was created and carried out for two economic reasons.
Preserve the supply of the oil by wrestling control of it away from someone who could turn it off.
Removal of a threat to the US Dollar's status as the worlds reserve currency.
Riddle me this,
Who won all the oil contracts....
>>>China & Rusia
the public did not support the war. the media did,
but the media is not the public, someone should notice.
the media are cheerleaders for war and anything that smells like money.
the people protested it and were ignored, that is what happened.
rewrite the story ben.
I was having attendance with many thousands of other people having attendances at the rallies peoples were having against the war that the stupids in the governments were having plans to make. It is not being true what the writer is saying to be making it have the sound that peoples were supporting what the stupids were wanting to do.
What war? It was never declared.
who needs to declare a war, when they can declare the whole world, including amrka's "homeland," a battlefield.
this removes all barriers, anything and everything will be justified now.
State of Emergency...FTW! It sounds much more palatable than martial law (lite.) Wouldn't it be cool if they brought back the color coded threat level indicator? Without that, I'm at a loss as to which direction my emotions and fears should go on any given day.
The war we need is a war of the American people against the regime suppressing us. Instigate that bitchez.
Enough with all the B.S. of 'protecting American interest'. How about protecting the interest of my fucking 'savings account'?
I get the whole neocon (and obbumma) arguement about 'promoting democracy' and I call BULLSHIT. It is not and never has been about democracy. It is and has always been about serving the interest of the elite at the expense of you, me, him, and her.
The game is over. Likely not today, likely not tomorrow, odds are not this decade, but it is over. All they can do now is continue to spend, pretend, and dance till they drop.
The US Gov just openly declared war on you, me, all of us. The ground beneath our feet is apparently a battlefield, and we're all terror suspects. Yet if you take to the streets with no more than a cardboard sign and some friends they meet you with cops on horses, clubs, pepper spray, LRAD sound cannons, and flashbang grenades.
america will turn on these fucks once there is nothing to lose......we are almost there...
All they can do now is continue to spend, pretend, and dance till they drop.
A prophet amongst us...
They can continue doing whatever they want because they know we Americans are naive and ignorant. I am not saying this to be rude, but it appears to be true. Most Americans were all for this Iraq invasion while some of us questioned: "Why are we attacking Iraq, they aren't a threat to the US?" They were a threat to Israel, just as all middle nations are. Iraq was better off while Sadaam was ruling Iraq. But because of the US invasion, over a million people total may have been killed. And lets not forget the 500,000 iraqi children who died during the 90's due to the UN sanctions. We have become a nation of murderers, so it seems. Halliburton and Company got rich while the American solder got dead. This is a terrible tradeoff. The entire Bush presidency was nothing more than a get rich quick scheme. And his mission was accomplished when sadaam was hanged. Revenge for Sadaam trying to kill his daddy back in 1993. What a costly payback. But most Americans don't see it this way.
Now with this Arab spring movement, Israel is threatened even more. In the past, no individual middle east country could take on Israel by itself. And because leaders of individual countries hated eachother, they couldn't possibly unite to take on Israel. But now the Muslim Brotherhood is uniting the whole middle east. Political heads are being deposed and the middle east is uniting. Once this mission of uniting the whole middle east is accomplished, they will march on to Israel and world war 3 will begin because all nations will get involved. And the sad part about this is that most Americans seem to want this.
Read this following prediction of Albert Pike about the third world war. He had this dream back in the 1800's. Doesn't it seem to be playing out at this time to the letter?:
This was only the third world war prediction that I cut and pasted. He also had a dream of the first 2 world wars. If you Google Albert Pike 3 world wars, you can read the the entire prediction.
Sounds like I'd better get busy pounding my plowshares into weapons.
Barry said,"we're finished rebuilding Iraq"....I wonder what geographic area the Nobel Peace Prize winner wants to "rebuild" next?
aahhhhhh.........syria??????

Never was my war. Speak for yourself.

hey, how do you say "it tastes like chicken" in latin
Nonsense.
Throwing into turmoil is what the Bamster did in Egypt.
As far as Iraq is concerned, it appears to be as stable of regime in the Middle East as one can hope for. And a Democracy (for the most part).
And anyone who can't see this is a member of the tinfoil hatted, whackjob, crazy town, loony toon army.
And on an aside, I'm beginning to see a pattern here. One the weekdays, most of the posts are normal market chatter, and outstanding quality. But on the weekends, it appears that all the nuts come out. Is it just me?
do you think the people of egypt got what they wanted after this "revolution" hell no......
Peter K --is that a rhetorical question?
Peter K --is that a rhetorical question?
Sorry, Peter's mom only lets him out on weekends.
What is this garbage??
The world is better off without Saddam Hussein in it. The same can be said for Moammar Khaddafi. With any luck, we'll soon be able to raise a toast to the brutal death of Bashar Assad, Kim Jong-Il, the Ayatollah Khameini, Hugo Chavez, and a few more.
Yes, it cost the U.S. a shitload of money and a whole bunch of dead and maimed -- most of whom died because the savages in Iraq couldn't get along with each other, and because Bush was too much of a pussy to engage in all-out warfare when the left-wing U.S. press was on his ass about all the horrible civilian deaths (most of which were caused by other Iraqi civilians, not the U.S. military or mercenaries). Well, nobody ever said it would be easy.
Stick to economics, guys.
hmmmm. i see............
Ignorance is bliss.

Put your feigned righteousness aside, and study the history of the Middle East. No DEMOCRACY my friend.
Think Catholics and Protestants in Northern Ireland and you might get slightly close to the Shia and Sunni chasm.
Good Luck with that "kill them all" and peace will prevail philosophy.
Even at Disneyland they couldn't hide that Walt died.
We have 16,000 emabssy workers there. Who is protecting them?
aaahhhhh.......contractors from blackwater?
U. S. Soldiers out of uniform. It's a troop reduction nothing more.
Hearing rumors of Iranian Rev. Guards (Qods Force members under the command of Gen. Quassem Suleimani) infiltrating Iraq, including the Green Zone, to act as bodyguards for Shi'iite officials. Civil War is inevitable, returning the artificial country of Iraq to its three , natural, pre-1923 regions.
I guess if you take the volunteer soldier out of their uniform and put them on a private wage, they'll also be freed from their pledge to "defend the constitution" etc. - no more pesky patriotic heart strings to pluck. . . just defense of the corporate for money, pure and simple mercenary.
yeh their motto. when attacked , shoot in all directions..........collatoral damage? we don't care about no stinkin collatoral damage........

which one? whose?
There’s a division in this country; the neocon warmongers want an American Empire that would control the power centers of the world, of which the bankers who will be in the driver’s seat support. The other side has grown in influence after the disaster of the Iraqi War and the duplicity of government leaders – which is now why the Obama Campaign believes it’s in their interests to exit Iraq and remind Americans (voters) of Obama’s promise to end the Iraq war…
“Via the Patriot Act the US government has declared war on Iran by invoking sanctions. This is under the guise of Iran supposedly having nuclear weapons, which is a figment of colonial Washington’s imagination. The elitists in Washington want to isolate the Iranian banking system and as a result Iran is preparing to shut off 40% of the world’s oil by shutting the Straits of Hormuz. The reason added to these actions by Treasury Secretary Geithner is that Iran is a primary money launderer. We see Iran’s being cut off from western banking providential, considering the state of western banking today. The Fed and the IMF are again scurrying around trying to save Europe from itself, a place where few are capable of making decisions. We call that contagion and Iran could be spared that. The drones are being shot down over Iran and the US keeps sending them. Next it will be air combat where the loss of life and equipment will be high.” – Bob Chapman (article on Market Oracle)
Intel is sampling at high bit rate the Iranian brocast com-link that is hijacking the USAF broadcast co-link with the drones that is so apparenttly vulnerable.
NATO didn't leave Iraq for reasons related to peace, there is no mission accomplished. they left because now it's time to move on to the bigger fish, Iraq could fall into chaos and civil war for all they care. before Israel can kick things off with Iran via airstrikes, NATO had to leave so as not to give the appearance of facilitating or encouraging the actions to come. that way when Iran retaliates by attacking American interests of facilities in the MENA region (whether they actually do, or via a false flag) the UN and NATO can play innocent and claim the moral high ground "we tried to stay out of it, but they wouldn't let us" and launch the long prepared and much anticipated ground war.
the Arab League announced that they will go to the UN to "request assistance" in dealing with Assad after he has failed to allow monitors into Syria to observe. it is his concern that by allowing these observers in he is given greater and easier access to those trying to destabilize and end his rule. it is without a doubt that the assistance rendered will come in the form of airstrikes, cruise missile attacks and another "humanitarian kinetic military action" non war, war such as we saw in Libya. In which case NATO will once again kill civilians, facilitate crimes and destroy billions in infrastructure in order to protect protesters. but since other Arabs requested this it will all be justified in the MSM. once Assad's regime is gone and replaced by a western bankster friendly "democratic" government a beachhead will be established for the ground invasion of Iran.
of course the neocon, chest thumping, parking lot crowd will support this in delight of being able to put the smack down on yet another nation full of evil, terrorist, America hating savage brown people, and the libtards will go along because it's their Obama in chief giving the orders. so once again both sides of the paradigm will be duped into supporting another series of wars which will sink us deeper into debt, drive up the price of oil further crippling the "recovery" and will require further sacrifice civil liberties upon the alter of homeland security. the plan, decades in the making, is running right on schedule if one steps back and looks at the picture as a whole one can see just how scripted this whole thing really is. we the people have an opportunity to put a stop to this, to not play the part of useful idiots, but will we?
there is the very real concern that China and Russia will not simply sit back and allow these events to unfold unchallenged, that their own interests in the region may demand action up to and including direct military intervention, which means that anybody under the age of 35 may be getting not coal, but a draft notice in their stocking for Christmas next year.
Plus after 'officially withdrawing' from Iraq, there is an empty air corridor between Israel and Iran...perfect for the delivery of bunker busters already parked in Israel.
This article in Debka adds many layers of understanding to the how all this may play out now that Iran?Russia?China?ETs? hacked the RQ-170:

bushI tried to get the iraqis to overthrow saddam, but the dictator moved viciously and decisively against the guys bush was backing, so bush just declared victory & left, leaving the iraqi guys he was backing to eat shit, lay eggs, and die young
then, 911 and bushII's lies and re-invasion
so, now we're "out" and we have established wtf in iraq
but, it was expensive in terms of dead and wounded US personnel; not to mention civil rights
we did much better in libya, establishing wtf, ~30K dead, and not one US mother's son killed or wounded, was there?
pretty damned good, huh? and...civil rights continue to plummet

Must remark, never have I seen the MSM so complicit and relentless in selling a war (Iraq) to the American people.
invading a country, looting it form all wealth, and then make people believe you have setit free from an terrible dictator.
what a joke, this civilization. it's not civilized, but yet it is.
Well stated. +1
thank you ben and god bless you for uttering the truth that most americans don't care to hear because it is just too easy to go along with the party line of the cia infested and controlled press....
the war was sold on lies not the least of which came from colon blow powell to the un....but the real basis of the war was a bush family grudge fuck against husein and tim osman aka osama bin laden....both bushes had business dealings with each leader going through enron....the need to destroy these witnesses (plus hussein's attempt on bush the elder in kuwait) just as the panamanian dictator noriega was silenced was the paramount driver in the war.....of course the oil was an extremely close 2d or tie with first place....
but the rockefeller-mic-yale-cia axis of evil was behind even the bushes in the exact same setup as they destroyed jfk in 1963....
for these plutocrats, the personal is political. they gave us the ethos of the 1960s and the me generation....they have the power to subborn the state into the achievement of their personal political ambitions and it always involves murder....
"tim osman aka osama bin laden"
Has anyone compared the unique identifying features of Barry, Osama, and the holder of High Office who's mother was active with a certain agency in Indonesia?

they did a perfect job for themselves and their cronies. Shameless war profiterring. The media should stop acting like they are incompetent and call them out as criminals
The "Media" is not allowed to say bad things about their owners/employers....even if it is the truth.
Cliff Notes:
Smedley B. was right...."War is a Racket"
....and the Fat Cats have been employing that blueprint for a very long time. It kills multiple birds with a single stone....
If enough time passes by....they can release the truth and the progeny of the lost and affected soldiers will be too busy to bother with the crimes committed against the American families...as well as the families of the countries invaded for profit.
Gulf of Tonkin is a good example of how soon Americana forgets they are chesspiece pawns on the gameboards of the elite
Also see Brzezinski's 'The Grand Chessboard'.
Inappropriate expectations are part of the problem here.
How can you take the same leadership that has led the USA into the horrible domestic situation we are in, and assume that they are going to do better in counties where they do not know the history or even speak the language?
Dysfunctional does not improve when borders are crossed. The power elite are not all knowing gods, they are only greedy mortals that are smart enough to gain and hold power over the weaker and less bright.
Predators do not always walk around in scary fanged wolf costumes, meaning-- What you see is not always what you get.
Here's a few things I believe, for what it's worth.
The power of : (in no particular order)
The potential of Evil in men's hearts.
Women.
Big oil.
War machines.
Lies.
Greed.
Perception.
Nuclear weapons and their eventual wide spread use.
This whole mess will just go down as another human tragedy on so many levels that future generations will look at and say "Wow, must have sucked to be them. "
There is a single indisputable fact about war that, if accepted at face value, explains just about everything - war is good for business and for those with power. If you have not done so yet, find and read "War Is A racket" by USMC Major General Smedley Butler.
Period.
War has a way of eliminating issues. When Pearl Harbor happened. Within a few weeks to three months industry was converted to war production. Civilians were asked to endure such limitations as 10 gallons of gas per month and so forth that we would not tolerate today.
When war 2 was over and just prior to Korea there was such a movement of people on trains and sea/air that the money just flowed. Everyone was coming home and they wanted to settle down.
What did we do?
Scrap everything. The stuff that built our Iowa Battleships with the technology then on a large scale of precision would not be found today. Not without great expenditure.
Today we have the ability and have made war all over.
But we have not yet run into a true war. One which involves the people at home being struck directly by nuclear, bio or taking out of electricity. We have been making plans for a few years for all of these problems and some others at home.
We even have chem papers that turn a color if the railroad got hit and chorine gas came through our area. That was how detailed our prep is.
Zero Hedge has been a very large part of it. And it is my hope that they continue to be because the Internet is one of the very best devices in time of war. You can get a facebook post from a family member whose machine gun is not yet cool saying "I GOT SOME!"
Something to consider.
War is no longer over there. It's here too.
The Internet and ISP providers will be taken out or rendered useless very quickly whenever it's convenient. Especially with Facebookers counting coup in real time. It just won't be permitted. Not to mention EMP weapons. Got tube based equipment? Everyone should have at least one tube radio.
"Iraq was necessary. The duration was the problem."
Umm NO and Yes....because its not 'officially' as war unless determined by congress remeber.
Expect that little gem to be used when the government cuts veterins benefits.....because 'war' benefits are only payable to 'war' veterins.
Remeber that, the next time you think something is 'necessary'.....you may be next
I watched the Scuds come down in live cable provided by CNN which was then the number one Cable at the time during the Iraqi war *Desert Storm) the Scuds were coming down on Israel cities in real time and we held our breath as the dots from the patriots and other missiles rose to intercept.
Even if they made the intercept, so much crap still fell from the sky down onto the city blocks below. And one was left wondering how the people are doing there.
Prior to that while in school, I remember Congress and Carter cutting the Bones and Patriots saying they are a unnecessary waste. And they did.
We were in Iraq 10 years or so with the no fly (Which was flown the same as war time) with careful attention to daily news paper reports (No internet back then for us) as to how it was flown and which base and unit that flew the previous day's no fly.
If we are to be involved with the Iranian Bomb (And we are... as they make every effort to build and use one) Israel is the first on the line.
We are also on the line. However the civilian population is so divided over so many t hings we have chaos and no real direction.
with that in mind 2012 is going to be interesting, thank god for the United States Marines and other services who are some of our very best who can keep it together until all of this is settled one way or another.
I still expect a nuclear or atomic attack in our life time. We lived through the cold war, now we are living through what I would like to call the Islamic sunburn.
Re. We are also on the line.
Hungry - you and your buds put us on the line. Now you're cheering the collision.
Hungry indeed.
I would not want to live in eastern Turkey right now. When Israel/USA attack Iran, the nearest things will go up in smoke. Russia will cut off gas supplies to Europe and the dominoes will start falling....
Same goes for Asia...Japan and South Korea are on borrowed time when (and if) some knucklehead decides to lob a missile at NK.
Better overall strategy (imho) is to send the most intelligent negotiators to these places:
1. Colonel Sanders (with KFC);
and
2. Ronald McDonald;
and, of course,
3. Hugh Heffner!
Give them a Big Mac, a chicken wing and a Playboy and they will drop their AK-47's in a second!!!!!!
jmho
Japan in the north are already living in a radiation world. Just the same as if they were indeed attacked. But horrors and true clarity to the really bad things happening over there is hard to get.
South Korea along with Seoul (Within Artillery range and in a valley that channels armor straight to the city) will essentially vanish within one hour. What is left will have to choose where to go and do it right the first time while we scrape together what we can and ship it to Pusan. Lessons of History.
Now that Iraq is defenseless, nothing is stopping Iran from sending military forces overland without detection. They dont have to do it in mechanized formations, just alot of ones and twosies mixed in with the overall flow of people.
And, by the way, now that Iraq is cleared of Americans (kind of) there is nothing to prevent Iranian airplanes from flying very low, avoiding both ground and airborne radar, popping up almost anywhere they want in the western gulf, and getting missiles away before ground, sea, or air anti-missile defenses have a chance to react.
Maybe airborn look-down radar might detect them, or maybe satellites might, but they could get close enough before that happened for their missles to reach targets all over the western gulf literally in seconds.

The "War" was over before Mission Accomplished was proclaimed May 1 2003.
Since then it has been a police action and preparation of a Forward Base. Best place from which to deal with Iran if necessary.
Probably Saddam would have made the ideal point man but there were personal issues, I remember.
Similarly the "War on Terror" is a police and internal domestic security operation not a war.
Prince Faisal (portrayed by Alec Guiness in "Lawrence of Arabia"), appointed King by the League of Nations/Britain was also a Sunni.
Saddam WAS the US pointman in the IraqIran war, but like so many US pet-dictators in the past century, he became obsolete for the next move on the 4th Reich chessboard.
In a way I kind of admired Saddam ! When you're trying to govern, ungovernable Islamic filth, and you're in the Sunni minority, you had better be ruthless and do it with style and panache ! Who the fuck would be naive enough to believe that this monumental fiasco is even close to an end?
No doubt that this will unfortunately become a bankable moment for Obama in the form of a sound bite, akin to Osama bin Laden's death, even for a short duration. In the long run, history books will reveal the perverse hypocrisy of this "triumph", regardless of who has perpetuated this war and who has promised to end it. At some point, even the rest of the narrow-minded citizenry will eventually realize how naive it has been, not only for hanging onto this predesigned sense of nationalistic loyalty and pride, but for letting it shape their political ideologies.
Naive loyalty to a system that serves not its citizens, the way it should, but the handful of people who control the centralized interests of America, and sadly, own and control the ways that informational mediums shape public opinion via popular herding. It is no surprise that any kind of conflicting opinion is hastily braded as "un-American".
And yet, for the past couple of days, every major network managed to pass this event as some kind of closure to this decade-long destruction. Of course, in a decade-long time span, the reasons -as well as the real reasons- for this war, begin to look distant and will eventually fade into obscurity without being addressed, until some political cycle in half a century from now decides to reveal "the archives".
With over 5000 American and maybe over 100000 Iraqi casualties, both military and non-combatants, according to several sources, and with a bill over several trillion dollars, it's as clear as it has from the start that this charade benefited the very few, who had planned it from the start, and it did so in expense of the American people, many of who have been steered easily enough to not only believe the relentless propaganda regarding this "righteous" war, but also support it, and vehemently so.
Of course, it will be few now, who finally realize the administration's duplicity, whether it's painted with a democratic or republican colour, after seeing with what ease they are ready to dismiss and cut public spending starting with their own veterans subsidies, military insurances and so forth, the same way the have been ignoring to pass the healthcare bill for the firemen who were at ground zero on 9/11, saving lives. It seems that America's heroes are valuable enough only when they are working towards the procurement of certain interests in some foreign place, and that precious "patriotic" feeling is only pertinent while they are still needed, since upon completion of their "mission", they become nothing but a financial dead weight and a social irrelevancy.
Again, this political charade has become unbearably transparent with its hypocrisy, as it has already been established that it is as it always was but a facade, built by the ruling control to give people the sense of choice, in order to subdue instability in a calm and collected manner, by applying their strategically placed sound bites in strategically chosen periods.
So despite President Obama's latest attempt at populist punditry during campaign speeches, the fact remains that this latest "achievement", is nothing more than a failure to re-negotiate a deal with the Iraqi government, that would allow the U.S to maintain a military personnel of 20000 troops in place, that would have to be exempted by Iraqi law no less.
And per senator John Kerry, the remainder of the force will be redistributed in nearby U.S bases, mainly a number of 25000 soldiers will be sent to Kuwait and tens of thousands to bases in Bahrain, Qatar, UAE, Oman and Saudi Arabia.
As for America's presence in Iraq, it may not be able to maintain any U.S military force but the 17000 mercenaries, indirectly controlled by the State Department via their various defence contractors, should suffice, along with CIA's not so discreet presence, with its Baghdad fortress-like facilities and its proxy consulates in Al Basrah and Arbil.
And people are still wondering why Ron Paul is gaining such traction.
Who wants it to end ? I want them stewing in their own juices forever ! It's called Divine Justice ! I want them begging for peace ! Begging for Democracy ! Begging to pay reparations to the people they hurt ! I want the UN to condemn the terrorist states to pay for all world food programs for 100 years !
Iran gains a lot by fomenting civil war in Iraq asap.
Iran isn't going to be around long enough to gain anything ! You give evil people too much credit ! The Iranians are a lot more fed up with their leadership than you are ! Stop listening to CNN and think for yourselves !
Been hearing about the people over-throwing the Iranian regime for three decades. Iran is not Egypt, Tunisia, Yemen, Libya or Syria. It is a military-theocratic dictatorship with enormous resources, powerful allies, and yes, powerful enemies. My interest in the Iranian leadership is, unfortunately, strategic and tactical.
Evil adversaries are for comic book heroes and televised speeches by presidents and prime ministers.
Perhaps we shall meet one day, fly fishing on the Litani River. We could exchange stories of Bronze Age tribes.
They were a screaming success for the military industrial complex. Lots of US defense corporations, their buddies and politicians made a squillion out of Iraq. That was one of the 'happy' coincidence for the defense corporations. They could make the case to invade Iraq for oil whilst really being entirely intrested in making money for themselves and their underling congressmen.
The next batch of wars will be eagerly pushed by the same military industrial guys for the same reason. Makes no difference to them who wins or loses or who dies or if their or some other country gets ruined, they still sit back and make money. And it is probably the banksters that own them as well.
The US has some sort of necratising bankster disease were the presnce of banksters destroys the flesh of the country.

It is the people's war in more ways than one. The single most important issue to the American proletariat is cheap oil. There lives are built around it: from suburban sprawl, bedroom communities, and one-hour commutes to their enormous homes, which must be heated and provided with electricity. The American obsession with the tiniest details of Middle East politics is born from gluttonous consumption and the desire, on the part of the American masses, to live each as a petty noble in a Victorian McMansion, far removed from any gainful production (which is in the cities, much to close to dark-skinned people, like those who are bombed in the Middle East). The author is quite correct, this was far more than Bush's war; this was a democractic war, supported by the people. What propaganda came out in support of this war, was obviously propaganda and few questioned the obvious lies.

This is a beautifully done grassroots video outlining the different aspects of Ron Paul’s foreign policy that some Republicans have trouble comprehending.
If there is another terrorist attack it will be because America did not follow the foreign policy proposed by the Founding Fathers and Ron Paul. The reason there would even be another terrorist attack in the future would because America did not follow the foreign policy of the Founding Fathers and Ron Paul.
Confused? You’re not alone. Our media and political elites seem to love keeping Americans in the dark on so many important issues regarding foreign policy. This video is well worth the 13 minutes and clears up much of the confusion regarding Ron Paul’s positions on this subject:

snooker player; the indirect hit will move a cascade of events in a much more effcient way , try the proxy strategy, try carrot and stick, try to be shrewd as shrewd as are your islamic foes.
Get rid as soon as possible of ZOB-AMA , no.1 prick even lousier than G.W.Bush, get a leader , not a social worker to the white house , a leader who can give you back your pride of being american.
Come on the darkness will wither quickly , get back to basics, elect a tough guy not a wimp , think of Teddy Roosevelt, Harry Truman , Ike Eisenhower , Ronald Reagan and next Newt Gingrich ,
Teddy Roosevelt was a progressive that couldn't mind his own business, no thanks! Reagan was a good guy, he just surrounded himself with bad people as a political necessity to get the nomination. Truman & Ike were okay, but Newt? I wouldn't trust him with my wife, daughter, wallet or country...he changes his mind evertime the wind blows from a different direction. We don't need another establishment big-govt politician. Maybe we could have another Warren Harding, I know, I know, his admin was rocked with scandal, but he believed in the free-market and was able to cut unemployment in half. A firm believer in technology, a hands off attitude toward the economy and a proponent of world peace without bombing anyone. The guy sounds alright to me.
So ZH is a RP campaign site now???
Not officially, but hard money types tend to be Libertarian and conservative ! I'm more amazed how many Marxist dupes worm their way in here !
Instead of a complaint, give us your candidate and why he would be better for the country than RP? This is a debate site; it’s a great opportunity for you.
Good point, JR ! I can't believe I'm agreeing with you !
Now, now , Dinastar2 ! Things aren't that bleak ! Sounds like your heart and patriotism are on the right page ! Take heart ! Who said Democracy was the worst system until you compare it to an Egyptian riot ? Actually, Monedas said that ! I think you will be pleased when Syria and Iran fall ! Patience ! If we could out flank the Japs and Gerries....don't worry about the towel heads ! We can be pretty sneaky and devilish when we're fighting the good fight ! Viet Nam is our lap dog....we protect them against the Chinese ! A defeat is what happened to Germany and Japan ! Viet Nam is a success story....and a lot easier to manage than the Norkoms ! Burma and Cambodia are coming on line....that's not defeat ! Mongolia is Reagan Country ! Now, start beating your chest a little more and stop beating yourself up with chains....it doesn't become you !
“an expensive war with 4,500 American casualties and 100,000 Iraqis killed.”
Unfortunately that is a completely single-sided statement without any estimate how many of those were Iraqi civilians and how much Saddam would have killed in the same time frame.
But yes, it is never a good idea to start a war without having any clear idea what one wants to achieve, including a plan B and C.
How do you explain Tunisia, Libya, Egypt, Yemen, Syria, Iran, Jordan, Palestine, Saudi Arabia ? Spontaneous enlightenment ? People encouraged by the presence of democratic forces confronting the worst of the worst terrorist states ? This Arab Spring would be impossible without western intervention, moral and logistic support ! Yes, we are good people doing God's work ! Wars are more precise....the carnage is very reasonable compared to historical standards ! People have so much invested in the MSM catch phrases that they find it difficult to accept the MSM was dead wrong about so much ! Terrorism is on the run....and that is a good thing !
Terrorism is on the run...
LOL, your check reality light is flashing!

The Rise of the Politics of Fear-Baby It's Cold OutsideDrifter ! I was on to Mubarak's phony illness ploy early on ! It was confirmed when they wheeled him into court in a hospital bed then didn't allow any interviews ! What ever happened to curious, rebel victors having a right to know what's happening to the deposed dictator ? Mubaraks back and on the attack ! Brooklyn Bridge and the tear gas boys ? Come on Drifter ?

the monedas monologues. hundreds of collected comments form different websites. mostly commenting on his own comments, which are mostly comments on monedas'opinions. Was Iran's storage site, an abandoned salt mine, for raw UF6, the raw bulk transported material feeding their enrichment program, hit by a bunker buster? My nephew and I, while tech chatting at a Christmas get together tonight, focused on the the web sat pic of the site. Crater- large, shallow, and perfectly circular; Multi 5000 sf Buildings around the head shaft- all missing, little debris; Signs of Fire - none.
We asked each other, you ever see post-bunker buster strike effects. We theorized what it would look like and the picture matched the web sat pic.
If true then the death of the 40 decade and running brainstorm of the Iranian missile program during an explosion at a missle engine demo site was probably not an accident.
If true, then Obama hit a grandslam, and is a shoo in for 2012.
With GBW's scholastic record, did anyone expect less? Let's face it, Darth Cheney isn't the sharpest spoon in the drawer either, though he is the most evil.
