Forget the Ron Paul revolution - the younger generation is waking up and realising that Ron Paul is just supporting the corporations. The Occupy Wall Street movement is breaking new ground against libertarian bigotry by pioneering the PROGRESSIVE REVOLUTION. We have been warning about the lack of welfare spending, jobs bills, and government controls for decades, and now that we are finally being vindicated, the Ron Paul campaign is trying to co-opt the movement. The real revolution is the compassionate SOCIALST revolution and we have a few simple demands:

1. Ban ALL derivatives, including options, futures, CDS's and SWAPS

2. FREE education, healthcare for all Americans

3. A guaranteed government job for all unemployed Americans

4. Triple the minimum wage to boost living standards

5. BAN all imported goods that compete with AMERICAN exports to boost our manufacturing base

We are fearless because we have the truth on our side, and the Ron Paul campaign better get with us or get out of the way.

WonderDawg's picture

MDB, your satire is truly genius.

DeadFred's picture

Or maybe he forgot and used the big spoon instead of the little one for this morning's drug supply.

trav7777's picture

Ron Paul won, ergo the poll was hacked.

Results or evidence that show Paul in the lead are assumed to be spurious

This is them telling YOU who your fuckin candidates are gonna be, capiche?  People talk about how the system selects two shitpiles, one from each camp, and here you can see its function.  The MSM has already decided who the GOP candidate pool is.

WestVillageIdiot's picture

You got that right, Trav.  The other day I was reading about some bullshit poll that the fish wrap known as The Wall Street Journal had done.  The only names mentioned were Herman "I can run anything into the ground" Cain and Mitt "thank god my daddy got me where I'm at since I'm such a colossal zero" Romney.  The name Ron Paul was not mentioned a single time.

And these fucking media outlets blame the Internet for their lack of readership or viewership.  It is not the fact that they peddle bullshit 25 hours a day.  The Fourth Estate is truly in wretched shape.

Citxmech's picture

They put Ron way at the end podium and didn't even include him in the wide-angle shots.  I was actually looking for a poll to vote on and all CNB$ had at that point was a poll titled "What topic dominated the debate?"  Seriously?

Looked to me like the topic of the evening was how best to marginalize RP - too bad that wasn't an option.

Mr Lennon Hendrix's picture

The coordination is truely amazing, more than anytime in history.  It can't be explained from just the "dumbness" of individual reporters either, because, and here is the kicker, Ron Paul would be making the media money if they featured him prominantly.  That's right, if they gave hi more time, more people would tune in, and thus revenue would increase.

Corporations are always all about the money.  This is why Ron Paul's shunning is amazing.  Never before has the main stream had a political agenda that runs counter to making them money.  Big Brother is truely watching us, and trying to mess with our opinions.

RiverRoad's picture

The MSM aka their advertisers are scared to death of Ron Paul.  The Fortune 500/Banksters will have a much harder time victimizing the American people with Ron Paul in the Whitehouse.

redpill's picture

They didn't like the poll results so they took it down. What a bunch of pricks. I'm not even going to watch CNBC for perverse entertainment anymore.

DaveyJones's picture

that's the old world when journalism existed. The new world is an ever decreasing number of ever growing media corporations which dominate and control the information you receive in vertical monopolies and co govern the people. A little different than the framers' vision.

Mr Lennon Hendrix's picture

Usually they kill two birds- Dancing with the Stars makes money and it keeps the masses on the status quo drug that is TV and its mezmorizing capability).  The 2000 and 2004 elections gave the same effect; people were either on the blue team or read team.  Now, like when Perot ran, we have an alternative the the media's Hegelian Dialectic, and so the media will throw away revenue just to keep their agenda in line.  It is a truely amazing phenomenon.

logically possible's picture

Trav, Exactly, and last election it was the MaCain pile.

Dr. Acula's picture

Hmph. McCain the TARP supporter. Basically no different from Bush or Obama.

"We do not support government bailouts of private institutions. Government interference in the markets exacerbates problems in the marketplace and causes the free market to take longer to correct itself" - http://www.gop.com/2008Platform/Economy.htm

McCain, the S&L immunizer

RiverRoad's picture

McCain, the navy guy defense industry shill.

RiverRoad's picture

Actually the MSM's advertisers  (Oligarchy/Banksters) who control the MSM have already decided who the GOP candidate will be.  Or they think they have...

DeltaDawn's picture

MDB, please note our country is broke. We cannot afford to support you and your sorry-assed friends. My advice to you: marry a farmer's daughter and hope they don't ask you to help around the place and that their crops don't fail. Learn to hunt, no free meals without tools, skills and lots of effort. Yes, we have all been screwed by the globalists but socialism is for weanies.

Pladizow's picture

Its called sarcasm!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

KinorSensase's picture

I miss your old avatar already.

Tsunami Wave's picture

PLEASE PUT THE TITS BACK UP PLADIZOW OR GIVE US THE LINK!!!

MillionDollarBonus_'s picture

That's not true. America is NOT broke. If we just raise taxes on GREEDY corporations to 90%, we will be able to pay for ALL of the welfare spending and more. Do the math!

Troy Ounce's picture

Yeah..yeah..and a free BMW for all. Bitches!

FEDbuster's picture

It will be a re-born Chevy Chevette Hybrid from Government Motors in blue (no other colors available).  Price fixed at $2,999.  All other imported cars (no domestic competitors) will pay a 1000% excise tax and will be unable to fill up at the price fixed government filling stations which offer a corn alcohol fuel that powers only GM Chevette Hybrid at a subsidized cost of $1/gal. (true cost with farm subsidies $10/gal).

optimator's picture

It won't be a re-born Chevette,  It'll look like a Trabant and you had better remember to add the oil to the gas!

FEDbuster's picture

The new Chevette will be Government Motors answer to the Trabant.  It will be a hybrid with a fucked up electrical system designed by a former English automotive engineer.  The batteries will come from China, safety equipment from India, body and frame Mexico and assembled by former Ron Paul supporters in a FEMA re-education camp supervised by drunk and high UAW workers.

And better do it quick before they all come home to roost....

90%tax => corporations leave => no jobs => no tax base => no government handouts.

Only the crony corporations don't pay taxes. Most do.

bankruptcylawyer's picture

i was laughing all the way.

banning cds however is not satire cds, or other bets on failure are part of how the securitization bubble got out of hand .

im not arguing for banning cds, which is essentially an unregulated corporate life insurance policy, but i think you need mark to market accounting and 20% reserve requirements and a maximum cap on the size of banks and of course, glass steagal.

there is meaningful work to be done in this area so the satire of # 1 would be lost on most people.

FrankDrakman's picture

Sorry, your solution is worse than the disease. More regulation, more bogus accounting, more artificial and arbitrary restrictions.

It's really simple: LET THE MOFO'S WHO MAKE TOO MANY OF THESE BETS FAIL WHEN THE BETS GO WRONG. Nothing would get firms to manage their books more carefully, make sure they're actually hedged, and keep their leverage down to manageable levels than knowing that they WON'T be bailed out, that they WILL be sued, that they WILL lose their jobs and bonuses, and that they MIGHT go to jail.

In other words, LET CAPITALISM WORK, and throw out this wretched crony system where the connected can thumb their noses at the rules, and the rest of us pay for it.

bankruptcylawyer's picture

yes, this is what greenspan said. and then warren buffet said unregulated derivatives were weapons of mass destruction.

while no one will argue with you about letting failure take its course

you have no basic understanding of the incentives and nature of financial instruments. you do not allow people to possess rockets with guidance systems ( missiles as theyre known)---because they are a huge threat . this is why the possession and supply chain of missile parts fuel, and designs are tracked and regulated by the military.

you dont need missiles as an american who wants to protect himself from the government. you need a gun fine. same reasoning goes for atom bombs, etc.....

you see, this is why the life insurance industry is also regulated. you cannot go around selling and cheating people by taking their money with no real intention or possibility of ever paying them back. that is why life insurance is SUCH a shady financial instrument, that and it provides an incentive to kill someone. google some stuff about the vatical 3rd party broker business in life insurance you'll learn something about 'unrestrained capitalism'-----unrestrained social behavior leads to the promotion of anti-social abusive behavior by those willing to use it to deceive their fellow man. and while i'm a liberty minded person, you're naive if you don't think the first thing the hucksters will tell you is that there is no need for you to worry about them. it is a chicken and egg game--an arms race--a prisoners dillema---

the only society that functinos is one where honest people are trying to stop the dishonest sometimes and where the psychopaths are stopped from 'regulating' everything. it's a tough balance. but if you think derivatives in their current form can be part of this balance, you're nuts.

read your history , learn about securitization and the history of the 30 year mortgage. certain financial products are almost fraudulent by nature. just like certain medicines are actually poisons but in small doses can cure certain problems..

Pladizow's picture

You continuously forget to end with "Sarcasm off".

FEDbuster's picture

If these "goals" were in the form of a questionaire or poll of #OWS people, I bet you would get a 70-80% agreement.  That is the reality of the "occupy movement".  The Country is on the verge of going full retard, if  something drastic doesn't happen soon to change the economy.  We may get the re-boot that people have been predicting, but what comes on the other side is anyone's guess.

Fazzie's picture

He dosent forget, the sarcasm is always "on"!

smiler03's picture

But [at this time] 139 ZH ers haven't realised the sarcasm is always "on". They either don't remember MDB's posts are default /sarc on or don't understand sarcasm. Some re-education is required I think.

SOCIALIST WORKERS PARTY!!! , they don't have a candidate yet

LawsofPhysics's picture

You forgot a few;

6) Gaurranteed infinite growth of all economies and endless availability of cheap energy resources.

7) Make it illegal for rain to fall on weekends.

8)  Make plate technonics and evolution illegal, no more bacteria becoming resistant to antibiotics or cancer cells becoming resistant to chemotherapy agents.

9) In general outlaw all acts or limitations imposed by Nature and the laws of physics on general well-being of humanity.

Love the sarcasm/satire, keep practicing.

DOT's picture

Congress must repeal the Laws of Physics; free energy for the people!

KinorSensase's picture

hehehehe.  thank you for that comment.

Citxmech's picture

Isn't there an app for that yet?

Bwahaha WAGFDSMB's picture

Energy would be free if oil companies were not suppressing the breakthroughs in perpetual motion and water burning engines, and government keeping the alien energy technology they have at area 51 secret.

XitSam's picture

Don't forget to have them repeal the Laws of Mathematics. Think of how simple things will be when Pi = 3.
