Former Marine Arrested For Patriotic Posts On Facebook

First the establishment started going after current serving military men for their outspoken political views on Facebook and other web venues, men like Marine Sergeant Gary Stein.  Now, it seems the government is going after veterans as well.  This is the classic pattern of a burgeoning totalitarian state; attack a small group first (outspoken serving military) which the public ignores because it affects them little personally, then slowly expand out to eventually include everyone else.  To all those insipid bottom feeders out there who refused to defend Gary Stein's right to free speech, here is what you have wrought.  Because of your ignorance, the government has been able to set a social precedent which they now plan to apply to a whole new group of people, starting with former Marine Brandon Raub.  The common statist slave will give the typical coward's response, which would sound a little something like this:

"...When are people going to learn that Facebook isn't private?  You would have to be stupid to express such views where everyone can see..."

"They didn't arrest him, they just 'detained' him..."

"He's former military and should be 'ashamed' of his comments against the government., blah blah blah, etc..."

The bottom line is, the 1st Amendment is NOT conditional.  ALL speech must be protected, no matter who you are, or where you happen to be speaking.  Just because our current criminal government decides 1st Amendment protections do not apply to Facebook does not mean they have the authority to make such distinctions.  In fact, the Constitution explicitly outlines how they are restricted from making such distinctions.  If a government entity, ANY government entity, attempts to violate Constitutional restrictions, it must be removed by any means necessary.

Take note that the FBI used the accusation of "terrorist threats" by Brandon Raub as an excuse for the arrest even though there is no indication that any actual threats were present on his Facebook page..

(Brandon's comments included observations that 9-11 was done by the government (even going to such length, and an interestingly detailed thesis, of providing evidence to augment this), the War on Terror is a lie, Americans are killing innocent people in the ME, the current federal banking system is corrupt and unfeasible to Americans, and that the George Bush's family rapes little children)

I would say that all of these claims have enough circumstantial evidence behind them to warrant a serious independent investigation, and even if they didn't, there is no law against "conspiracy theory", at least not yet...

The police and FBI also failed to read Raub his Miranda Rights. Could this be one of the first public instances of the enforcement of NDAA detainment provisions against a U.S. citizen as a so called "domestic terrorist"?  You know, those detainment provisions that Neo-Cons and Neo-Libs alike claim "don't exist"?

My question for the statist slaves is, how soon will it be before they get to you?  Do you really believe your complacency and apathy will save you?  Has that kind of philosophy saved any slave under any other tyranny of the past?  This is NOT a free country anymore, and if we do not act to defend each individual who suffers under the weight of bureaucratic oppression, then everyone will lose everything.  It is time to pick a side.

Does that worry you?

God bless the Constitution. Other than my oath of marriage, it's the only other one I've taken.

I'm not worried about any, true, Patriots. I would consider you a very valuable asset to any cause. Thanks for your service. A True Patriot would never turn on a decorated Soldier. Those agents and police are traitors to the Constitution.

Everybody was told what obama was like since he became a candidate,  but of course the retards didn't care and still voted for him.  About half of the us population hates freedom. When you ignore all the facts that were presented before the election in 2008, you get what you deserve american voters.

Obama = McCain
Democrat = Republican
Both candidates were picked by the status quo to give you the false impression of choice. Also to divide us by party lines. Any candidates that would actually challenge the status quo would have been ignored by the media which Americans have bestowed their complete trust upon. Hmmmmm, lets see...anyone being ignored...Ah yes, that silly old man...ummm whats his name? ummm rand...ron,ahh yes, RON PAUL, the Presidential candidate that insists on auditing the Fed. That guy with that slogan "End the Fed". Oh, you know he's loved by the international money lenders. The guy that would bring all our troops home by signing an executive order....That oughtta sit right with the MIC dont cha think? You know Halliburton and Royal Dooche Shell would love that! And all these illegal undeclared police actions would come to a grinding HALT. What the HELL would these morons do with themselves if we had peace in the world? They know nothing but hatred. So...lesson number one...

There would be no difference between Obama or Romney. And the funny part is....Obama and Romney know this fact. But sadly, you and 99% of voters do NOT. Thats why only these two clowns are discussed by our illustrious MSM, the propaganda spewing mouthpiece for the status quo.

"People without homes will not quarrel with their leaders. History repeats itself in regular cycles. This truth is well known among our principal men who are engaged in forming an imperialism of the world. While they are doing this, the people must be kept in a state of political antagonism.

The question of tariff reform must be urged through the organization known as the DEMOCRATIC PARTY, and the question of protection with the reciprocity must be forced to view through the REPUBLICAN PARTY.

By thus dividing voters, we can get them to expend their energies in fighting over questions of no importance to us, except as teachers to the common herd. Thus, by discrete actions, we can secure all that has been so generously planned and successfully accomplished."

Freedom of speech, of thought, of action &c are all in serious jeopardy and the reason is simple:

It's the endless war.

Read up on your Hobbes:

"In warre, force and fraud are the cardinal virtues."

Next to nothing we have been told from on and after 9/11/01 is true. It's all pretext for aggression. Instead all we think we know are but examples of the fraud part of Hobbes' ditty.

Even the ongoing financial crisis has among its root causes the unstoppable and already lost warre. The financial crisis was brought on when the US got caught foisting bad debt (AAA rated subprime MBSs) onto the rest of the world. It was necessary to commit that fraud because the costs of the warre, the time taken to secure its objectives, exceeded what had been budgeted.

That the warre is still ongoing and still unstoppable places more and more that we hold dear in serious peril. So now our individual rights are at stake. Oh well, our pensions, education, health and housing are already long gone.

It's the war, stupid.

Oh you poor bastards... if you had any idea what is possible now in the way of monitoring, analysis and who is funding it, you'd never post with the same account twice, and most assuredly never ever post anything with any real information ever again.

Here's a breakdown:

It is currently possible, in real time none-the-less, to process all social media streams and all blogs, forums, you name it.  Emails, chats and sms... that can be popped in too with the right access.  Auto-transcription in real time of phone calls can also be fed into the systems that are ALREADY built.

Now, that's not the scary thing.  The scary thing is the analysis that can be done on the fly.  Natural language processing has come a long way.  Analysis to consolidate multiple profiles into a single one is also out there.  Not just based on hard stated facts, but on linguistic tendencies as well.  Thanks to social media, it is now possible to link all the profiles out there into webs based on who's connected to who, as well as positively identifying specific individuals who have influence.  The linking part is still weak, but it's coming along.  Funding for this is being provided by the government (who else?), various governments in fact and it's being provided indirectly via various channels.  It's language agnostic and can be used to identify political leanings, sentiment, behavior, as well as predictive analysis.

If you have any brains about you at all, kill all social media accounts NOW. Drop it like the plague.  Drop any long-established accounts, host your email offshore and PGP everything.  I have spent the past week doing research for white papers on this crap and I'm not even joking about the level of crazy that's coming.

I suppose there is another 1% in america--those who know what the first amendment has been interpreted to mean vis-a-vis the government. It prohibits prior restraint. Only in rare circumstances can the govt prevent something from being published. It DOES NOT shield the speaker or writer from the consequences of what they write.

Dude's protections sound 5th amendment, not the first.

Ok, as to Brandon, who I have explained does not know what the first amendment means, I note that his headline is a baldfaced lie, contradicted by the body of the article. Talking about the bush family raping children is not patriotic, it is simply asinine.

The greatest enemy of democracy is democracy - it's all the self appointed dictators of society, the idiots with opinions, who screw it up for everyone - the guy who is never happy with just enough - the guy who chooses to piss in the public water supply because he can - collectivism is nothing more than the realization that there ISN'T enough for everyone to have enough - nature is brutal - evolve or die. This isn't your grandpa's revolution folks - righteous resistance may be a high ideal, but survival is the highest ideal

On the contrary:

"I don't know about treason, but copying classified information (no matter HOW classified) and publishing with the intent of embarassing your country--while you are supposedly serving your country, is certainly against some law."

The above poster's quote is, in fact, quite to the contrary. It is to be recalled that one of the main outcomes of the Nuremburg Trials was the incorporation into International Law of the principal that it is not a defense to war crimes charges to claim one is merely following orders. In greater specificity and detail, illegal orders are to be disobeyed and actions are to be taken to thwart war crimes.

One of the oddities of American life from on and after 9/11/01, is that we have willingly blinded ourselves to certain obvious truths and certain high order responsibilities. Among the truths and the duties we have ignored/shirked is that the common storyline of 9/11 is false and that the prextexts for invading and destroying first Afghanistan and then Iraq and then the willy nilly bombing and sabotage of any number of other countries, including the economic embargo (an act of war) against Iran are all war crimes.

The main war crime of which Germany was convicted and censured at Nuremburg was that of war on false pretenses; pretextual war.

In furtherance of citizens duties to thwart war crimes is the act of whistleblowing, not to mention active opposition. Think Col. von Stauffenberg, architect of the July, 1944 coup and assassination attempt against Hitler, who was duly executed then, only to be posthumously elevated to hero stature after the war criminal regime was utterly defeated and destroyed.

One reason the US wars of aggression might not ever end until final economic collapse--meaning defeat--is that were the US to withdraw in a condition that looked like defeat, war crimes charges would almost certainly follow.

The one overriding weakness of International Law as it relates to war crimes is that it is still by and large associated with victory/defeat. Defeat brings on war crimes charges, whereas victory almost never does, though, in theory, no distinction between war crimes is intended under International Law.

Of course, defeat of that magnitude is more than just embarrassing. It also results in reparations claims and usually results in a long period oflower standards of living. Plus, people in general simply do not like to admit their country has engaged in war crimes. Americans are not much different than citizens elsewhere in this regard. Slightly more arrogant, maybe, but not by much.

Our Catch-22 at present seems to be that if we allow the illegal wars to continue, we will all lose everything we have as a result of economic collapse. But, if we rise up against the war crimes committed in our names, then we get tagged as a rogue state (oh, my!) and we get hit up for reparations and we lose our economic hegemony (oh,no!).

Damned if we do, damned if we don't

Looks like some other gross manipulation by US citizens to claim acting under the guise of freedom...

Usual 'American' old stuff.

'American' trained killer was discharged for speech he released while on duty.

His posts were also very delusional, depicting the US president as the enemy when in 'Americanism', autority to rule lies with the middle class.
Best is that guy might have joined the corps before Obama was sent into office.
Would be funny if he reserved this kind of comments for the negro in the oval office.

And more of US citizens fancying them as slaves.

You'll have a hard time finding military men who depicted their president as the enemy because the US was a slaver nation.
Quite easy though to fight military men or militia men who fought to maintain the institution of slavery in the US.

So this guy enlisted, held speech that was contrary to the charter he signed (no surprise, he is an 'American'), fails to keep a low profile, kept escalading on his threats and is finally arrested.

Guy, as an enlisted soldier, is the machine and would like to shift the blame on a servant to the ruling population, the 'american' middle class.
