Guest Post: New Jersey Will Pay You $1000 To Destroy The 2nd Amendment

New Jersey Will Pay You $1000 To Destroy The 2nd Amendment

There is nothing more disgusting or detestable than a citizen informant. Without citizen informants, tyrants could never retain the kind of power they wield. In fact, without citizen informants, totalitarian movements would never gain traction. This is why EVERY functional oligarchy throughout history has implemented programs designed to encourage the development of common spies, using the promise of monetary reward, or collective recognition.
Sadly, there are many in our society that would gladly sell out their closest friends and family to the tortures of authoritarian bureaucracy for nothing more than a firm pat on the head and a few fiat dollars. If there was ever a more degraded lot of bottom feeding opportunist scum, the citizen informant is the very epitome.
With the implementation of the “See Something, Say Something” program, and the increasing drive by the White House to institute community watch efforts to route out “extremists”, showcased quite clearly in strategic outlines like the ‘Empowering Local Partners To Prevent Violent Extremism In The United States’:
http://www.whitehouse.gov/sites/default/files/empowering_local_partners.pdf
The issue of informant networking has come to the forefront in America. My personal view is that these nauseating and diseased people should be treated as treasonous as any globalist, regardless of stated intention. That said, in an environment rife with extraneous poverty, informancy cannot be avoided. Plenty of men and women, stricken with empty wallets and bellies, are extraordinarily prone to betrayal, regardless of their inherent morality. This is the kind of world we will soon be living in, and this is the kind of environment that corrupt officials like those in New Jersey are prone to exploit. Pathetic, weak, cowardly, but ultimately dangerous sheep unknowingly serving the very men who would seek to enslave them.
In terms of 2nd Amendment rights, I find the very idea of debate rather pointless. The logic is undeniable. If you cannot defend yourself, you are a victim. Period. You become food for predators and parasites. Any state government or national government which actively seeks to disarm its citizens is suspect. I couldn’t care less about their stated rationalizations or rhetoric. In New Jersey, in Chicago, in Washington D.C., or anywhere else for that matter, an innocent man who is disarmed by law will always be victimized by an outlaw who armed through criminality. The concept of reduced crime through gun confiscation is so naïve it warrants considerable analysis. Through such efforts, good men are left defenseless, while evil men are free to wreak havoc.
The 2nd Amendment is not a negotiable or debatable pillar of the Constitution. It is absolute in its protection. Every American, regardless of the temporary circumstances of the times, is free to arm and defend himself from ANY enemy, from average criminals, to government thugs. The gun confiscation program featured in the video below, and instituted by officials in New Jersey, should not be taken lightly. The pure idiocy inherent in its premise cannot be ignored. New Jersey’s willingness to pay off potential informants could very well be a petri dish test for much more expansive programs across the country in the future. If we cannot stop the corruption and anti-constitutionalism of a pathetic state like New Jersey, then how can we expect to disrupt the same brand of corruption throughout the U.S.?
Guns are simply not the issue. An armed and educated populace is a populace safe from crime. This is a fact. New Jersey’s informant program is a travesty of justice, not only because it encourages American on American treason, but also because it ignores the very purpose behind the Second Amendment; to create a populace free from the fear of tyranny. If we do not put an end to the anti-gun tides in New Jersey, we should fully expect to see such atrocities against freedom planted at our own front doors in the near future. There are no exceptions to the Constitution. New Jersey is not outside of its jurisdiction. Every person in that state deserves the same protections as anyone else. We must disrupt the sick and perverted no questions asked buy off policies now prominent in that region, or be subject to the same in the near future…

I have always wondered why you chose to use a name that means poser. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=dFieSQHmQT0
#1 I wanted to pick a moniker that no one could ever guess it's me. I don't know if you remember this but someone outed tmosely publicly on ZH....put out his full name, where he worked, his phone number and address. I think the guy that did it ended up getting banned but the damage was still done.
#2 I'm not a fan of the song but someone had showed me the Bob Dobolina and I guess I thought it expressed the duality of the American condition. You have the black guy bitching about the corrupt system and the white guys going to work. Welfare recipients by demographic blacks make up 32.9% yet account for only 14% of the population. Blacks have it better here in the U.S than any other country....but they always want more, more, more and everything is the white mans fault. Meanwhile in the video it shows all the white people going to work (paying the taxes for the welfare)
#3 It has a palindrome in it (bob) and I like palindromes.
I'm not getting into a race conversation right now, but that's the history of the moniker. I wish there wasn't so much interest in it because I'm really kinda' tired of explaining it.
ok
Of course it goes without saying that you're out there each and every day fighting the good fight. If you're sitting in your office, or at home, reading ZeroHedge, then you're still part of the problem, and not even putting anything towards a solution.
The OWS protesters aren't trying to be trendy - they're standing up for a cause THEY feel is right, which I believe is an action outlined in the US Constitution. So if you have a problem with their actions, go and form a counter protest saying that the 1% has done no wrong, and deserves the billions in bonuses they get every year for raping the global economy.

Just a stupid European Question: is there any "gun-free" zone in the US? Honestly, don't know.
In some of the old Western the first thing the Sheriff does is to ban guns from the little village.
Schools in democrat areas.
And what about airports, let's say on a flight between Denver and Dallas?
In Kill Bill the protagonist is shown as flying with a full lenght japanese sword as if this would not astonish anybody...
Can't have guns on planes obviously.
but you used to. I definitely remember that after 9/11 several cases of gentlemen flying from Dallar remembered it the very last moment in the plane that they were carrying a gun - or is this all urban legend?
Legend.
Ah, I thought so. Still, I miss the times where I could take my Swiss Army Knife with me and I got this impression of modernity, service and luxury from flying.
We are starting to "bleat for fun" when in the queue for the security checks, nowadays. Is Sheeplehood addictive or infectuos?
What the fuck is a "gun-free zone"? Sounds like the "nuclear-free zones" that were declared in Australia in the '80's. Not too effective against incoming ICBM's, I would think.
Just as a "gun-free zone" won't disarm someone who doesn't mind breaking laws. Don't you get that? All this legislation is aimed at the good citizens! They are the ones who hand in their guns...and become prey. If you can't wrap your mind around that one, then you have absolutely nothing to offer on this forum.
Concur. I've always thought that a sign in front of a school announcing to passers-by the establishment of a "gun-free zone" may as well have said, "Attention all psycho-killers: commit your next shooting spree here! We're all unarmed."
As bad as the US education system is, even the little kiddy psychos figured that one out. Go back a couple decades in the US when kids could bring guns to school - that stuff didn't happen.
I may be wrong, but I think the "gun-free" and "drug-free" zones are advertising the fact that should one transgress those particular rules/laws, within those particular boundaries, the penalties are HIGHER than usual - it's a legality to enforce stricter penalties should someone be caught. you know how those who make the rules love to create imaginary fences they can enforce. . .
longer sentences, higher fines, that sort of. . . stuff.
"What the fuck is a "gun-free zone"?"
Not my invention, I understand it is part of your political discourse...
They must have been some pretty big box cutters to make everyone in the plane stand down.
You're missing the control aspect of travel.
They clamp down on travel which means you have much more hassle going anywhere. Which means they are at a low level controlling where you can and can't go.
These are you real rights and how they are controlled from lowest level.
Controlling what you can and can't think and say.
Controlling where you can and can't go.
Controlling what you can and can't do.
Controlling who you must cooperate with and who you must treat as an enemy.
Courtrooms are the very environment. From demanding respectful behavior towards the bench. To controlling what you say to controlling what topics are germaine to the issue at hand. To allowing people to bring history into the courtoom but not bring history into the courtroom. To declaring mistrials if the staging lighting and actors don't make their marks.
In the U.S. federal court system, the conviction rose from approximately 75 percent to approximately 85% between 1972 and 1992.
If you have a 85 percent chance of being convicted why even bother with the process. This shows that the will of the state and the will of the people have undergone a 10 percent change in alignment. State doesn't care if it get's to 100 percent but my guess is if it keeps going that will go up to 92 or so percent as dependancy on the system entrenches.

Can't have guns on planes obviously
Depends, if your an Air Marshall or a trained Pilot,Co-Pilot, you may do so.
Quentin Tarantino is nother hollywood lib director who gets rich "creating" films with way over the top violence. They are the first people to disarm citizens. One of the most sick things is when you would walk through a video store - and probably 65% to 75% of the movies has someone holding a guy or pointing a gun. Hollywood is infested with liberals and they are not particularly creative. Run out of ideas - do a film with guns and blood.
Hollywood - land of arseholes.
People who hate Christ = Hollywood.
I'm quite sure Jesus loves them nevertheless
Who is Jesus?
The really clean smelling Mexican guy, you didn't know?
Jesus can be found in jail. We know this because all the people locked up in jail say they have found him. Now why Jesus isn't there when they were stealing a car is a whole other problem.
Yup.
I have the papers to prove it, too.
(And no, I didn't see any Mexican gardeners)
He's doing a 20-year stretch for whuppin' on some "money-changers..."
Who is Christ?
The greek word translates Into The Anointed
No, not from "Grease"
There's nothing worse than ratting out your neighbors.
My neighbors' cornholes are hairy.
But I don't hold it against them.
I'd never inform the police--unless there was a big reward.
Then all bets are off the table.
All of Quentin Tarantino's movies take place within a parallel universe that diverges from the real world during World War 2 when a bunch of commandos kill Hitler in a movie theatre in Paris.
As a result, from that point onwards law enforcement is virtually non-existant and people carry weapons everywhere all the time, perfectly normal, as they live in a world where this works.

Freddie, have you ever met a Muslim, worked with one, been invited by one to dinner at home, perhaps even had a friendship?
If not, perhaps you should, just to get some empirical groundwork to your convictions...
Silly Ghordius, there's no need. Didn't you know? ALL Moooooooslims are evil!
The Zionists who rail against anti-Semitism are all in agreement with this point.
Yeah, I know, I'm silly. I was just thinking if I can be both Catholic and Zionist.
buhu, Freddie not happy with me
I have no use for either semitic people living in the 7th Century. Let them kill each other for all I care. They are both intolerant.
Iran is Israel and the Saudi's problem. Let them deal with Iran. Ron Paul is right.
"They are both intolerant".
Thank you for that lesson, Oh Tolerant One.
Yes I do. Empirical groundwork? Oh how about 1400 years of history. A lot of that history was in Europe. Some of that history was ancestors who lived in an area where they fought against muslim slave traders. Some of those ancestors kicked Allah's arse in one of the most famous sea battles in history.
oh, history! I like history.
Then please tell me what kind of "bad things" have "the Muslim" done in 1400 years that non-muslims have not done.
better still let's talk about the advancements both have made to our culture.
you mean al-gebra, al-cohol, and of course financial al-chemy!
You left out al-gorithm (al-Khwarizmi), the foundation of computer programming.
It's no use mate. There's nothing you can say or do, no facts you can present to make some of these apes behave like human beings. When dealing with apes, just grunt a few words of reassurance and leave them be.
Not to be pedantic... OK, to be pedantic...
Most of those were invented long before Islam. Much contribution to science was made by the Arabs, Persians and others, yes, but far too many conflate that to "Islam" blessing the world with the prerequisites of modernity. They were not "Muslims" until they embraced (or were conquered by, in the case of Persia) Islam. It would be like stating that democracy was gifted to the world by Christianity... after all, the birthplace of Western-style democracy was ancient Greece, and they later became Christian. Voila!
Ok, then only medicine and all the ancient books...
mmmmmmmMan.infest Destiny!
because y'know
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Manifest_Destiny
The difference is that murder, rape, pillage, enslavement, and hostile invasions of non-believers' lands are acts specifically authorized for Muslims to commit against "infidels" in the Koran, which also contains numerous examples of these acts committed by their pedophile prophet. You will find no such encouragement for evil acts against non-believers in the testaments of Jesus Christ, who instead rescued whores from stoning and told the story of the good Samaritan.
Read Srdja Trifkovic.
So we never did to them the same, with the church leaders leading from behind? Do Crusades not count?
No, the Crusades do not count. The Crusades were a belated military response to 300 years of Muslim harassment and oppression of Christian pilgrims in the Holy Land. It took us 300 bloody years to finally say "enough is enough." Unfortunatly, this has been all but whitewashed from modern history textbooks, wherein one may only learn about how the Crusades got all fucked up in their execution (which they certainly did). The spirit behind the Crusades was a noble, defensive one.
If you remind them that Muslims technologically and culturally have done nothing in 800 years and then shame use their own writings and cultural mores as evidence to support it you are an evil raaaacist.. Now all that said, buy the oil, leave the vast majority of Muslims where they belong in the Middle East/ Indonesia etc do not attack them or otherwise harass them. Just let the Sunni / Shiite thing take its natural course as well as lack of any semblance of a sustainable society sans western technology. Once the Filipino etal slaves leave the Desert will take its toll. The superior culture always wins over time, no, tell it to the Neanderthals.
By the way the darn Christians are burning mosques in Nigeria again.. oh wait..
Simply put there are no gun-free zones in the United States. The areas where laws prohibit guns are the areas where the criminals own guns!
Freddie
President Allah gives AK-47s to Latin drug cartels.
No he doesn't,( you must use proper nomenclature when speaking about weapons,or you wind up HELPING the ANTI's cause),if you do not know the difference keep your pie hole shut, your just parroting the MSM..............lying, ignorant bstds.
BUT he has allowed the head of the DOJ, and the BATF to give/freely access, over 2000 weapons to the cartels.( WHY he still has his job, is beyond the pale).
And, so far 2 or 3 have been found at murder sites(one US Federal Officer was a victim of a weapon from the program FAST n FURIOUS.
I always found it odd, that you BREAK the LAWS, in order to KEEP them, rather an oxymoronic ideal.
Calderon, was in it neck deep,as was Hillary.
Then the Hypocritcal ass, got on a podium, next to the Mexican criminal leader, and tried to demand weapons be more controlled.
( AND they succeeded, in Texas you USED to be able to buy as many long guns as you wanted at one time,no problems).
Now they are classified like handguns, and if you purchase TWO or more, the Dealer must fill out a special MULTIPLE purchase form, before you can have them, and it is sent in to the BATFE boys.
Wrong that letter is being sued over by the NRA.. IRRC
what is stupid is that 'gun free' europe started ww1/ww2 and america supplied the guns.....gun free europe is kinda oxymoron. funny thing is, ww3 wont be supplied by the usa but china.
"I know not what weapons will be used to fight world-war 3, but I do know world-war 4 will be fought with sticks and stones"

Albert I believe, Al OneRock.
I'm pretty sure Buffy St Baez said that.
where did this rumor about a 'gun free' europe start?
we just don't have this raging debate and stricter laws, that's all
You don't have the debate because you're already a serf. Unarmed serfs are not a threat.
We do not have a raging debate about it in the US either. It's the sane polace versus the power hungry statists. There is no debating. We keep saying no, and they keep trying to take them. There is no discusion involved, just them trying to turn us into livestock..
Have you ever heard of Nelson Mandela or Mahatma Ghandi?
Were they ever serfs?
Am I still a serf if I tell you that I have a nice collection of arms?
Ghordius
Have you ever heard of Nelson Mandela or Mahatma Ghandi?
Sure, both were Communists.
Are you serious?
The question was more about: did they use arms to win their causes?
They appealed to the free world to win their cause. Because there was a free world to appeal to. The global current at each time was *towards*, not *away from*, liberty. The very same tactic was used by the Jews in the Warsaw Ghetto ... how'd that work out for them? Not so well, because they were cut off from the rest of the world, and the rest of the world was cut off from them. Besides, at that time the global trend was *towards* tyranny and *away from* liberty so there was not much the free world could have done (aside from going in there with lots and lots of guns, shooting lots and lots of Nazis ... which is what eventually happened). And the fascist world was on quite a roll anyway, and would not much care what the free world thought of what they were doing. That is, until the free world + USSR showed up with lots and lots of guns and shot lots and lots of Nazis.
Now riddle me this: let's just play pretend and say the whole world goes into some weird gyration whereby it emerges as one big global, brutal police state on the order of the 3rd Reich meets USSR meets Stasi. No human being free of its jackboots. The only lots and lots of guns in the world in the hands of lots and lots of enforcers of this hypothetical global regime. Nobody to appeal to. No communication to get your plight out anyway. And nobody to receive that communication in any event. Would you presume in such a senario your plight would be more like India/S.Africa? Or a bit more like Warsaw with the cattle cars rolling in?
So back to forming well-ordered militias we are...
Quit confusing the euro.. Ghandi against the Japanese: head less and floating down the Ganges in ten minutes. Nonviolence only works against those predisposed toward it, you would not want to use it against me for example in order to enslave me or mine, see how that works.
Sure you do Ghord, let me guess safely locked up in the safe at the local shooting range, or you live in Switzerland. When you Euro's come on over and save us from being invaded or better yet open some swap lines to bail us out you can lecture..
OT these comments stack strangely..
Please, you're just embarrassing yourself.
UK, EU, Europe - what's the difference to Americans - it's all that space "across the pond"
The UK clampdown and school shooting did make the US press, the almost common langauge distorts the news coverage in the US- our snobish media elite are just as mono-linguistic as the people they look down on.
It is not 'gun-free Europe', that is another stupid American myth, arising from the fact that only 15% of Americans have a passport and they believe any lies to prevent themselves from realising life is a lot better in other countries.
There are millions and millions and millions of privately-owned handguns, rifles and shotguns in Continental Europe.
Great American gun designer John Browning (.45 Model 1911 pistol et cetera) died in Belgium, because he was having guns manufactured here for which he couldn't get adequate backing in the USA. That .45 is still popular here, too.
We have maybe about 2 million privately-owned civilian firearms in Belgium, population just over 10 million.
You are thinking likely of crazy Great Britain, which confiscated all privately-owned handguns in the 1990s. Britain is not Europe. The Brits are extremely weird and nutty sometimes. It is different on the Continent.
This is a site with information about gun laws, gun ownership, how many millions of guns owned, and so on, in countries around the world:

We the people of Florida caught a break when Rick Scott beat that Democratic douch bag in 2010. Four more years of gun rights.
Rick Scott is a scumbag.. Lobby Whore!
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=LIYad3TvY6Q
Rick Scott helped steal $100's of Millions! in Tax Dollars!
and Rick Scott did NOT pass those Gun Laws and he could not pass any anti gun law thru the State Legislator in Florida!
so get a fucking grip or go back to new hersey or where the fuck ever you came from Yankee!
Silly. How can you prove someone is an alcoholic or drug addict (which is the same thing)?
My father always kept a gun on the floor of his car in Florida. He kept it in a Crown Royal bag. Cops told him that's all it took to make it legal and you could fire through the bag.
kill switch,
Great post.
In addition to Florida's long standing history with the "Castle Doctrine", since 2005, we have also enjoyed legal codification of the right to self defense in the "Stand your ground law".
Basically, the law says two things.
If you have a recognised right to be armed, either by dint of CCW permit, or one of the exemptions you noted, no worries.
If you have a right to be where you are... gas station, grocery store, or rush hour on I-4... you may meet force with force.
Without being required to flee.
Clay Hill
Luckily in Texas we never had to worry about fleeing.
In your own home...............what an idiotic law.
Thorough agreement here.
But alas, some folks have to see it in black and white.
This would be a much better country, no make that a better world, if they just LIVED it instead.
Thankx
Ghordius
Yes, many, and depends on the state.
Some common ones are Hospitals, Federal ,State Governmental Bldgs, Post Offices(and thats a joke),Sporting events, Voting Areas,Schools (except for parking lots),Bars/Restaurants,(If the owner derives over 51% of their revenue from alcohol illegal to carry.
And ANY establishment in my state that has a 30/06 sign. This means they simply do not want you to enter.
We had a TON of folks putting up signs here (Texas) for about the 1st year, until they were basically boycotted to the point they were losing a LOT of business.
The signs came down quickly.
The signs must be very specific,Sate Approved(meet code) and the state has designated what size, and what wording must be on the sign. Also the color of the sign, and size of the letters, and color.
PROMINENTLY displayed were a person cannot miss seeing them before entry.
IF you enter a business and the management knows(accidentally see's your weapon) you are carrying, if they ask you to leave (even w/ no sign), you must leave.
Likely left out as lot, just so hard depending on state to state.
WE do now have RECIPROCITY LAWS that allow residents from approx 40 states if your licensed,to carry in each others states.
The way the US system is supposed to work is that the Constitution limits the power of the Federal government, reserving all other powers to individuals, municipalities and states. So, there are cases like Utah which still maintain a form of alcohol prohibition (I don't know the details, so don't ask.)
It's within the right of any state or city to ban guns from designated areas- though it's a much thornier issue that runs up against the 2nd Ammendment to ban ownership of those weapons.
What we're seeing with freshly-minted concealed carry permits in Wisconsin is that some businesses are allowing carry, while others are specifically posting firearm prohibitions on the entrances. It's similar to "smoke-free" zones where you are not allowed to smoke tobacco.
So yes, there are "gun-free" zones- but they may be smaller in size than you expect. Generally, those areas are confined to a building and it's grounds.
If a "bad guy" wanted to break into a house, would they target a neighborhood with guns or a neighborhood without guns?
2nd amendment forever.
having a sudden increase in home invasions in my area. So far 2 out of the three invasions has ended up with dead bad guys. The third heard the loading of the shotgun and ran.
Well if people do not want to own guns or are holohobe libtards - they should at least record the racking of a shotgun. The shound of a shotgun being racked has probably stopped more crimes than anything else. A big barking dog also helps.
A criminal knows if the homeowner gets off a shot with the shotgun that the criminal will probably be swiss cheese.
Freddie, the criminals are poisoning dogs these days. i.e. the Chick in Oklahoma that shot the douche coming in, a week before, her pup was dead. These perps targeted her and cased the place to put their plan in motion.
In many Progressive Liberal Shangri-Las, the criminal has the absolute right to rob and hurt you. If you have a gun for protection, YOU are the bad guy(happened in Chicago often). If you resist and shoot the bad guy, YOU can be sued and ruined. Otherwise, the baggy pants crown skips along on their merry way. maybe a couple years in jail, no biggie. Dead is final and remedies the immediate problem with the salutary benefit of preventing further predations.
Perps in OK got what they deserved. One dead, one going to jail for it. Didn't hear they killed her dog too.
Have heard more than one LEO comment that a dead perp cuts down on paperwork and the taxpayer doesn't foot the bill for the jail time either.
The feds should force the stinking states to respect the bill of rights... but that ain't gonna happen since there's too much corruption.
The Feds don't respect the Bill of Rights, what made you think they did? Obamacare? Fast & Furious?
Hope & Change and Democrats.
Hope & Change and Progressives. fixed it for you.
Save your energy for something that needs fixing, we can figure it out without your help.
That's OK, Freddie and the Chick w/a dick are not the brightest bulbs over here.
People should not be afraid of their governments. Governments should be afraid of their people........word
Why do you think they're passing all these laws? They're scared shit!
The 2nd Amendment has been taken away in many states. Ergo the constitution is Not Applicable to every state. Ergo the constitution is no longer valid since it applies to the Nation. Ergo individual freedom has been stripped. Ergo no need to abide by the law that breaks the very laws it is predicated on.
vast-dom
The 2nd Amendment has been taken away in many states.
No it has not, we have staes that make it so difficult to won them, people just do not fight for the right.
case in point! when the fight becomes so convoluted and next to impossible it is essentially TAKEN AWAY! Look up NYC gun laws why don't you before posting nonsense.
How is this a Democrat issue? Illegal guns are illegal for a reason. Get a permit and carry a gun legally. Why are you trying to promote illegal gun carrying? Despite what you may believe about the 2nd amendment, not everybody should be carrying a gun. Dems and Reps believe this is true...
Go ahead and *try* to get a carry permit in Newark (unless you pay a bribe or "know somebody"), while we all point and laugh.
The 2nd amendment clearly says "shall not infringe" which means shall not be restricted in any way.
If it can be restricted in any way, then it's no longer a right.
In other words, the 2nd amendment is dead in America.
Firearm ownership has been converted to a privilege granted by government at their discretion, and regulated as they see fit.
Wrong again.
The Bill of Rights enumerates (lists) specific rights that are extensions of general rights declared in the Declaration of Independence as coming from God, which pre-date and supersede any government in America, state, federal, whatever.
Therefore those rights apply universally in America, federal, state, everywhere.
The BOR did not create those rights. It merely lists a few of them. There are many more not listed in the BOR.
Now it seems the government (federal and state) have taken it upon themselves to restrict those rights the DOI says come from God.
So it's up to God to make the government back off in my opinion.
If God doesn't do it, then it would appear said rights really didn't come from God after all, meaning they never were rights after all, just some crazy idea the Founders had.
The bible confirms this. Nowhere in the bible does it say anyone has any rights at all.
cranky-old-geezer
No,sorry I disagree, yes I agree the RIGHT to defend youself to the death, from death, was GOD given.( WAY before powder was invented bud).
But read your states Constitution. The 2nd Amendment was meant SPECIFICALLY to apply to the FEDERAL government.
It put limits, Rights into place that allowed them only so much rope, and then NO more.It simply affirmed the Goverments authority did not supercede Natural LAW.
Your state can regulate your ass to hell, but they cannot say YOU CANNOT OWN A FIREARM.
Because of the BOR's.....................it takes precendent over states rights.
Do you recall the SCOTUS ruling from a year or so back??.( Why did they go??)
What did they say.
You obviously have little or no understanding of basic principles of constitutional law.
I'm not going to waste my time talking to an ignoramus in the area of law.
Believe what you want.
cranky-old-geezer
Just going by what I have read, and the laws as they stand.
Constitutional Laws (esp the Amendments) are first for LIMITING the Federal Governments powers, and spelling out their limits, priveledges, doesn't get a hell of a lot more simple than that.
And,trust me I know the laws, and I am very familiar with the Const, and the founders, and the Docs.
You did not answer the SCOTUS case question did you?.A case that should NEVER have been before them to begin with.
The Bible doesn't guarantee you rights, but it commands you to take care of your family,(that includes their lives),if you do not take care of them you are worse than an unbeliever.
The RIGHT to self preservation is inate, and built into every human.
You have not proven jack to me.I know the government has abridged our rights,by passing illegal laws........
God has done his part to advocate for the 2nd amendment.

And people wonder how Nazi Germany let things get so far out of hand!
The Germans figured out way back in the forties that the problem was that they were a bunch of cowards who kept their mouths shut. Then they promptly forgot that lesson and got back to work drafting laws which limit legally approved speech and thought...

First they came for the terrorists, and I did not speak out—
because I worshipped a different God;
Then they came for the debtors, and I did not speak out—
because I owed no one;
Then they came for the elderly, and I did not speak out—
because I received no Social Security;
Then they came for the sick, and I did not speak out—
because I needed no medication;
Then they came for the starving, and I did not speak out—
because I had no hunger for SNAP;
Then they came for the defenseless, and I did not speak out—
because I had guns;
Then they came for me--
and there was no one left to speak out for me.
I have a preference for original texts, in their original tongues. In this case, however, the commonly regarded “original” text is not actually original, but rather an evolution (see below), which has been further co-opted and carved into additional “accepted” texts to suit various interests over time. In addition- the traverse of tongues, time, cultures and context may reduce the “original” to a beautiful abstraction when viewed through the prison of a crumbling educational system three quarters of century later and an ocean away. Niemöller’s words were not intended to be something beautiful, caved into stone, and idly stared at on monuments to the tragedies of human history. The words were, and are, an active call for vigilance, and if necessary the raising of one’s voice for those who cannot, even if it entails sacrifice.
Adolph Hitler was sworn in as Chancellor of Germany in January 1933. In February, the Reichstag burned, and the Reichstag Fire Decree was hastily signed into law- suspending the German equivalents of the rights enshrined in the US Bill of Rights, and by the end of March 1933, the Enabling Act granted the German Executive unchecked authority to dictate and legislate, even in contravention of the German Constitution. In the immediate aftermath and in direct “retaliation” for the fire- thousands of communists were placed in new detention camps as historical analogues of this decade’s “persons of interest” “domestic terrorists“ or “enemy combatants” following the conflagrations of September 11, 2001.
Pastor Niemöller was not imprisoned until four years and countless atrocities after the events of early 1933. The American awakening and call to arms on December 7, 1941 was almost eight years after the German descent began. The last detention camps were not closed until a dozen years after the nightmare had began to manifest in reality. In the interim, the otherwise impotent and powerless German legislature which had surrendered and abrogated its own authority, responsibility and legitimacy right along with the rights and freedoms of the German people- did manage to twice vote to extend the very instrument of its civil liberties usurpation.
There are similarities and differences between the broader populations in Germany and the United States. Whereas the Germans have a pronounced fetish for guilt, and particularly war guilt, the broader American populace has no such hang up over their collective actions, regardless of whether the people or State were moved action proactively or reactively. Whereas the multiparty body politic in Germany attempts to instill a drive for consensus as a means to a resolution among participants, the two-party body politic in the United States instills conflict as a means to a resolution among participants. In both nations, however, the politicians and other powers that be seek to divide and dismember the body electorate to pursue their own ambitions and ends. Without vigilance on the part of citizenry, there was and is risk in both nations that the elected will sacrifice either the electors or their electors’ values in pursuit of their own aims.
In late 2001, the United States responded to its own Reichstag fire. What the German political machine could efficiently suspend in several hours and in only a few paragraphs took its American counterpart thousands of hours and thousands of pages to mimic. The process is also a rare but increasingly alarming and common showing of consensus where the American elected seek to increase the subjugation of their electors, and in the process reduce those very electors to mere subjects. The scope of the legislative amputation of American civil liberties is spread across thousands of pages and a legislative panoply reaching a scale that only the bloated Statist bureaucracy in the United States could achieve. The short names of the primary tools of the butcher include AUMF, USA PATRIOT Act, Homeland Security Act, DTA, IRTPA, Military Commissions Acts, Protect America Act, FISA Amendments Act of 2008, Enemy Belligerent Interrogation, Detention, and Prosecution Act, and NDAA 2012. Locked somewhere safely away from public scrutiny is a “legal” opinion that the Head of State has the right to unilaterally suspend not only the privileges and obligations of the State’s citizens- at will, but also their globally accepted Human Rights, including the right to Life itself. However, the State cannot share its rationale or justification of this position with its own electors, because there no acceptable rationale or justification for such a position, perhaps some poorly thought out words transcribed into a memorandum with an official seal, but nothing they would dare attach their own name to publically, unlike the men who risked and sacrificed their own lives and publically attached their names to the founding documents of the State itself, or the legions who have sacrificed to defend and expand those initial hard won victories.
Can you name any one other internationally recognized (much less civilized) sovereign State where the Head-of-State has the codified authority to revoke the right to life of that State’s citizens at will?
What is the intrinsic worth of the full faith and credit of State that will not even stand behind basic Human and Civil Rights and fundamental precepts enshrined in its founding charter?
The Head of Government then has the audacity to utter meaningless assurances that the Government and State can be trusted with such authority, and that it will not abuse it. The Chancellor of Germany uttered similar meaningless assurances to Pastor Niemöller decades ago that such an authority would not be abused. The pastor IS guilty of trusting the politician to avoid the political trade’s original sin, and the cost of that mistake turned out to be global strife and millions of lives.
As youths, even atheists often partake in the religious right of passage wherein they prostrate themselves before a porcelain divinity and attempt to strike an eternal bargain with the omnipotent, if only the omnipotent will grant peace and stability in the present. Variations on this peculiar ceremony occur throughout life, in situations mundane, such passing an examination or passing through turbulence while flying, to profound. Confronting the possibility of new life and its profound impact on one’s own can be just as profound as confronting death, whether being publically sent into battle to achieve or defend the State’s objectives, or privately journeying to a hospital to learn nature’s current objectives. The ceremonies are important because for whatever brief period in time- they focuses the individual on what is of paramount importance, what is worthy of sacrifice, and what are the priorities for whatever time one may have left before the inevitable. The prompt proliferation of amnesia on the part of the celebrants is a tragedy, and one that predates the social anesthesia of mass media and the high frequency barrage of the digital age.
Ask yourself,
When was the last time you swore, “Never Again.”?
And the time you swore before that time?
What are the values and priorities that shaped those choices?
From a single point of conflagration a decade ago a line can be drawn through subsequent events to the present day, to each of the millions of Americans who witnessed that day, and from this day that arc of history could bend in infinite permutations. The seven deadly sins of silence in the opening above are but one of those infinite possibilities. However, without both personal awareness and situational awareness one could awaken one day only discover that they waited too long to speak up and speak out. The vigilant defense of Human Rights and Civil Rights is one of the obligations upon which the privileges of citizenship depend to prevent a society’s descent and decay.
Ask yourself,
Where along the long arc of history will you stand up and speak up for those whose voice has been silenced?
Are you your brother’s keeper?
Who is your brother?
Strip away the guilt of inaction and the ideological isms of the original thought, rephrased above, and set in context below, and it echoes the words of an American who spent a considerable amount of time in Europe two centuries earlier during another war.
They who can give up essential liberty to obtain a little temporary safety, deserve neither liberty nor safety.
Ask yourself,
What are the proper measures of a person’s wealth- fiat, gold, health, love, life, liberty, the pursuit of happiness?
Can economic liberty even exist in the absence of personal liberty?
Can Civil Rights even exist in the absence of Human Rights?

When Pastor Niemöller was put in a concentration camp we wrote the year 1937;
when the concentration camp was opened we wrote the year 1933,
and the people who were put in the camps then were Communists.
Who cared about them?
We knew it, it was printed in the newspapers.
Who raised their voice, maybe the Confessing Church?
We thought: Communists, those opponents of religion, those enemies of Christians
- "should I be my brother's keeper?"
Then they got rid of the sick, the so-called incurables.
- I remember a conversation I had with a person who claimed to be a Christian.
He said: Perhaps it's right, these incurably sick people just cost the state money,
they are just a burden to themselves and to others.
Isn't it best for all concerned if they are taken out of the middle [of society]?
- Only then did the church as such take note.
Then we started talking, until our voices were again silenced in public.
Can we say, we aren't guilty/responsible?
The persecution of the Jews,
the way we treated the occupied countries,
or the things in Greece, in Poland, in Czechoslovakia or in Holland,
that were written in the newspapers.
…
I believe, we Confessing-Church-Christians have every reason to say: mea culpa, mea culpa!
We can talk ourselves out of it
with the excuse that it would have cost me my head if I had spoken out.
…
We preferred to keep silent.
We are certainly not without guilt/fault,
and I ask myself again and again,
what would have happened,
if in the year 1933 or 1934
- there must have been a possibility
- 14,000 Protestant pastors and all Protestant communities in Germany had defended the truth until their deaths?
If we had said back then,
it is not right when Hermann Göring simply puts 100,000 Communists in the concentration camps,
in order to let them die.
I can imagine that perhaps 30,000 to 40,000 Protestant Christians would have had their heads cut off,
but I can also imagine that we would have rescued 30-40,000 million [sic] people,
because that is what it is costing us now.
Hold it assholes, he said illegal guns being carried. I have a cancelled carry permit. That program is not about me. Someone who turns in a person carrying a gun who,is a convicted felon or, is just a fucking dumb-ass like the majority of you ipod blogging dick sucks, is saving me from having to blow the illegal gun carrying piece of shit away.
Brandon Smith is a jackass to suggest this issue is about the second amendment.
You do know people are gonna report everyone and anyone right? And it's gonna lead to no-knock warrants or some BS like that... it will lead to DEAD PEOPLE.
And dead cops
Cops are people too. Even if a lot of them are tools.
They are the ones who will be knocking on doors, so they will be the ones getting shot.
Yes, he did say illegal guns once but you had to listen closely because he said it so fast and low. And right now it is only for the city of Newark which except for the Ironbound Portugese neighborhood is a place you wouldn't want to go without a gun.
I see gangstas and various and sundry thugs of all persuasions, maybe even family members, all ratting each other out for the $1000 bucks.
Really? You've never heard of the "snitches get stitches" saying? People do not inform on gang murders. Why the eff would they inform on an "illegal" gun? It isn't going to happen. Why risk your life or the life of a loved one? Wait... The state will protect you, right?
People are not thinking this through. People being the government for the most part as usual.
It's anonymous, Didn't you bother to watch the video that this thread is about?
Everyone likes to think informing is anonymous. Are you willing to risk your life that no one finds out? Most people are not. Hey Joe, where'd you get that extra 1K? Last week you were complaining about not being able to pay the bills. Now Tom is in jail. You knew Tom, right? That's funny...
would be awesome to live next to the DA / legislators...
i'd call daily saying "they have a guns and i has seen thems."
is saving me from having to blow the illegal gun carrying piece of shit away.
Hopefully someone will decide you're an illegal gun carrying piece of shit and blow your sorry ass away.
They would be doing all of us a favor.
I was born with the right to arm myself. If the "law" in NJ says I cannot do so the it is the law that is out of whack, not me.
My right to arm myslef is not granted to me by men, or laws, or documents, thus is cannot be taken away from me by those things as well. The only way I can lose it is if I surrender it to those who who take it from me. I for one will not do so. Any law that goes against my God gievn rights is null and void.
The law is stupid as hell. Even felons should have access. Criminals, by definition, do not follow the law anyway.
Yes the issue is about you, regardless of whether your concealed carry permit is cancelled. Ask anyone the US police have received a "tip" i.e. probable cause to send the SWAT team to surround as they innocently exit a bulding- and the DEAD LAW ABIDING PERMIT HOLDERS DON'T COUNT.
Americans in da house: your to be re-elected POTUS turns the USA into a Gulag Archpelago. Join Gonzalo Lira to say NO!

Don't forget our Muslim is backed by the entire Democrat Party. A lot of RINOs like MCCain, Graham, and other love him too. As bad as RINO NWO Bush was - the islamic is far worse.
What's a Muslim? Who cares (besides you)? Their religious belief is irrelevant as long as they PROTECT THE CONSTITUTION. That's the real gripe. Focus!
it is not his fault.. he is immersed in heavy rotation bullshit on all Corporate owned news channels.. he is a product of 5 th Ave. Programming!
he is spitting out what they want him to spit out..
it is Iran's fault!
it is a Towel heads fault..
when really the Police are the ones who terrorize Americans every day, ALL DAY LONG!!
it is about making carrying a gun so uncomfortable that people will stop.
today its the 'muslims'.
yesterday it was the 'japs' and the 'communists'
tomorrow it will be YOU
I'm not sure who this idiot is, but like most anti-gun pols, he probably is escorted and protected by his own gun toting praetorian guard.
Did anybody notice the weasel words in fine print on the video?
"...up to $1,000".
Cute. You'd end up with a gift certificate for sneakers or a bucket of fried chicken.
+1
lol
They would probably have done better if the reward was a bucket of fried chicken, lots of Popeyes in that area.
Or them fly ass new limited edition Jordans, Dawg.
Start reporting the cops carrying the guns around
It is funny, he started the video by saying there is a small number of people carrying guns around, and I immediately thought of, "the police?"
Yeah, the reason New Jersey is a rat-infested shithole is because of not enough people are ratting out their neighbors about their guns. What a joke.
for now it is "illegal" guns...
The legality of the gun doesn't matter to them, they want probable cause to assemble in large groups and draw their guns, even though law enforcement doesn't have a good safety record in such situations. This is not a step in the right direction.
Words can not explain my feelings for this sorry excuse of a mayor.
The 2nd amendment is number 2 for a very good reason. So who on the left politically is defending the right to bear arms? I'm just wondering if there are any. We know there are those on the right that will and yet on this subject the left is silent.
It doesn't need protecting. We have LOT'S of guns. The real issue is that the President and Congress have signed a bill essentially declaring war on all citizens. Now, when you're pulled over or detained by police, it may be your last glimpse of daylight before a long and tortuous time in prison, perhaps summary excecution. There is no longer any protection at all.
the right of the people to keep and bear Arms, shall not be infringed
go to a hardware store, purchase 5 vices, place them side by side facing your front or back door, place your favorite ammo into each one, and swing that hammer baby, swing it!
For the love of god, don't do that.
You don't even know the difference between a vice (ie. gambling) and a vise. What you're describing is a Zip gun, only even more dangerous.
A Zip gun is when you put a cartridge in a length of pipe and set off the primer with something like a spring-loaded nail. That's relatively gun-like, but it's still more likely to blow up in your hands than not. AFAIK, these are illegal everywhere- but even more importantly, they're just plain stupid and dangerous to your own well-being.
When you do something like put a live cartridge in a vise and hit it with a hammer, physics will show you exactly why that was a bad idea. But before you kill yourself with brass shrapnel, I'll tell you why- While both brass and lead are relatively soft, the bullet is solid while the casing is a thin-walled tube. If you put it in a vise and clamp down, you will trap the bullet, and the explosive power of the expanding powder will blow through the side or primer end of the cartridge while the bullet stays right where it is.
If you are lucky, the result of this will be flash burns and ringing ears. If you're not so lucky, it will kill you when shrapnel blows back on you, or the claw end of the hammer you used recoils back into your forehead. Now, before you say it, the problem does not go away if you use a round that necks down to the bullet. Not only is the bullet uncontrolled and prone to tumbling rather than spinning as it would after passing through a rifled tube, but it's probably not even going to tumble straight ahead because you squashed the case into an oblong.
If you really want to make your own weapons, do so sensibly, and be aware that you are risking your own life even testing them. You be better off burying pipe bombs in the yard, or even getting a masonry nail driver. A masonry driver uses a .22 cal blank to shoot a nail through a barrel when the end is hit by a hammer, and it has enough force to slam that nail into concrete. You *could* use one of those in a vise, but I'd still suggest using the nails rather than .22 cal rounds.
Or better yet, just go buy a weapon and learn to use it properly.
They need to watch "Scent of a Woman"
How many people know people, carrying illegal firearms?...furthermore, if you do, they're probably family or close friends, who would know, who ratted them out.
Even, after the $1000.00 was gone, you would always be looking over your shoulder...Bang, Bang!
Absolutely nauseating how the U.S. government absorbed Nazi technology, ideology, and tactics. The Handgun Control Act of 1968 was proven to be plagarized from the Nazi guns laws. Informants, paranoia, nothing new here...
Proven by whom? Link?
The sooner that "We the People" are un-armed the sooner the Police Unions will be able to SAFELY shoot un-armed Citizens without worry of a Citizen trying to defend themselves from illegal search or arrest.
Please.. let’s make attacking Citizens of the United States as easy as possible for the Police Unions! Un-Armed Citizens can NOT! Shoot Back!! what is safer than that?
If America is going to turn itself into a 3rd World Police State.. De-Base or Print Away the Value of our Currency or Money.. so that we can fit into the One World, One People, One Planet Plan..
Our Standards of Living are to high.. and must be brought down to fit in with the Rest of the World.
Our Constitution is to Broad and Provides to many Protections to just any ole' Citizen.. and the Constitutional Amendments must be done away with so we fit in with the Rest of the World.
Our Money.. is to Valuable! and must be de-valued! so that America will be on the same or equal footing with the rest of the World.
The Rich of America have suffered in the shadows for to, too Long! they should be able to flaunt their power in the face of the People.. not just behind closed doors at Lobby Fund Raisers Quietly!
It is time for the Rich of America to be able to proudly Strut Across the backs of the Working Class! just like in all the other 3rd World Police States!
Lets make sure that ALL of those Police / Law Enforcement Officers who are paid $100k a Year (after 2nd year in a metro area, non-Federal which is higher) are able to force the Working Class down on to their Knees when the Rich walk by! Like ti should be! Like it already is.. behind closed doors!
Lets, as Americans be honest with who we are and how we live.. instead of buying into the lies that are in heavy rotation and delivered to your fat ass on the couch!
America, Home of the Brave and Land of the Free! is LONG DEAD!
Here's one that got by before being ratted out.
I'm thinking they need a law like the label on cigarettes. Only on your door.
Caution unauthorized entrance may be hazardous to your health.!
