Here Is Which GOP Candidate According To Bloomberg Readers Understands The Economy Best
Is anyone surprised?
And since the biggest challenge facing the ponzi scheme that is the United States is purely economic, does this country not deserve a president who actually does not need an abacus when doing simple addition?

Ron Paul makes sense.
Ron Paul is the only one that has any economic sense.
Cain, IMHO, lost nomination last night when he named Alan Greenspan as best Fed Governor. Perhaps he is correct if he meant Greenspan was the Best Fed Governor FOR THE Fed and it's owner banks. Certainly he was not the best Fed Governor for Americans or the United States of America's economy.
I doubt many sheep understand that Greenspan was the chief architect of this mess.
No Greenspan wasnt 'the chief architect of this mess' its was set up before Greenspans parents were born!
Herman Cain = CAINSIANISM
Greenspan was born in 1926 (13 years after inception of Federal Reserve, and 16 years after Jekyll-Island meeting), so his parents gad been born already.
The Fed was just a new government cluster fuck to solve previous government induced monetary cluster fucks...and so on, and so on.
The private banking control of the US money supply had been in the works long before the Fed came to be.
Breaking news: Herman Cain releases the name of his "secret" nominee for the Federal Reserve head. Papa Gino.
and his Treasury Secretary, Chuck E. Cheese, and Secretary of State, Papa John.
Seriously, Cain is just a bankster shill candidate, they should have just put up Jamie Dimon instead.
Except Jamie Dimon isn't black. hahaha
"Papa Gino's office, no I'm sorry Papa isn't in." "Would you like to talk to his assistant, Fat Tony?"
He really did step in a steaming pile of dog shit when he said that. RP's response was perfect. Without a pause, he said "Alan Greenspan was a disaster." I think that got the most cheers (and laughs) from any comment all night. I would put that exchange into a commercial and beat Cain over the head with it, if he starts getting traction in the race. By now, even Joe 12-pack and the 401k Brigade know Greenspan is one of the folks that is responsible for bringing the USA to its knees.
If he's smart he'll bring in this guy instead:

Will also help in pandering to the African-American vote.
"I be importin' brothas to run our finance & shit! Mo money! Mo money! Mo money!"
I am Chumbawamba.
ATTENTION ALL RON PAUL SUPPORTERS.
Don't vote until you read these shocking facts about Ron Paul:
1. Ron Paul has mentioned numerous times that he would like to ABOLISH the Federal Reserve bank of the united states. According to top Ivy League economics professors this could cause economic chaos throughout the global economy.
2. Ron Paul has made no secret of his desire to completely end the war on terror. This will put Americans at serious risk of acts of terrorism by Islamic Extremists, at a time when our freedom is despised and envied throughout the middle east.
3. Ron Paul has expressed his desire to end the civil rights act and legalize slavery at the state level.
Mr Paul has marketed himself as a revolutionary and a voice for the younger generation, but the truth is he is just another arrogant libertarian whose views have gone unchallenged for far too long, and its time someone had the courage to speak the truth about his policies.
1.federal reserve is no ones favorite on this site baby.
2. the war on terror is a scam of brutal proportions.
3. who are you kidding you sheister?

This is not kindergarten!
MDB
Still pooping yellow....
All sounds good to me!
philistines... sarcasm is its own art.
I don't think he is being sarcastic.
MDB is always being sarcastic. He enjoys tweaking us.
Trolling is a art.
Did you and Robo not get enough love and attention from your parents that you have to keep acting out?
Please cite your source for number 3. I am confident you are making shit up. As for number 1 and 2 they are no secret.
The following article sums up his beliefs nicely.
http://www.theatlanticwire.com/politics/2011/05/ron-paul-would-have-oppo...
Thankfully some news outlets are not intimidated by libertarian bullies, and are willing to tell the truth. OBAMA/BERNANKE 2012 - Vote for real freedom and liberty!
MDB, I don't know how you keep it up, particularly with a straight face.
Irony, its a fine art.
Irony From Wikipedia, the free encyclopediaIrony (from the Ancient Greek ???????? eir?neía, meaning dissimulation or feigned ignorance)[1] is a rhetorical device, literary technique, or situation in which there is a sharp incongruity or discordance that goes beyond the simple and evident intention of words or actions.
Ironic statements (verbal irony) typically imply a meaning in opposition to their literal meaning. A situation is often said to be ironic (situational irony) if the actions taken have an effect exactly opposite from what was intended. The discordance of verbal irony may be deliberately created as a means of communication (as in art or rhetoric). Descriptions or depictions of situational ironies, whether in fiction or in non-fiction, serve a communicative function of sharpening or highlighting certain discordant features of reality. Verbal and situational irony are often used for emphasis in the assertion of a truth. The ironic form of simile, used in sarcasm, and some forms of litotes emphasize one's meaning by the deliberate use of language which states the opposite of the truth — or drastically and obviously understates a factual connection.
In dramatic irony, the author causes a character to speak or act erroneously, out of ignorance of some portion of the truth of which the audience is aware. In other words, the audience knows the character is making a mistake, even as the character is making it. This technique highlights the importance of a particular truth by portraying a person who is strikingly unaware of it.
Super Bitchen!!! I'm serious. How will the slave trade unfold? Will it just be negroids again, or will white deptor chicks be fair game? I live in China, and had been thinking about sitting the shit out before comin back, but if what your saying is true, my fantasy is about to unfold?? If I own an actual slave, guess I can't get busted for raping it, huh? How bout killing it, if it gets lazy or mouths off? I'm goin back a rich man, and gonna put together a harem of slaves!!!... ooh, the possibilities :) Y'know, there's really notjing wrong with debtor slavery. Honestly. People got themselves into way more debt than they knew they could handle, and felt nothing of spending others' money that they didn't earn. Seems fair they should have to pay the piper. There's no free lunch for freeloadin bummies. Fuck em :)
Wrong. He was arguing against laws that force businesses to transact with other individuals. Troll harder.
P.S. by freedom I assume you mean freedom from personal responsibility and freedom from making choices for yourself.
Sen. Barry Goldwater opposed the Civil Rights Act of 1964 because of the inclusion of Title II, which had seriously deleterious effects on private property rights. His record on supporting minorities' rights was stellar. The 1964 legislation did not end slavery, so opposing it would not have reinstated it. It must be nice to be so oblivious to reality.
Ah, you were being sarcastic. Phew!
MDB=meconium boy
More, please. This is great. Someone so dense they seem sarcastic. What else can you tell us, MDB?
Why dont you STFU! The whole slave deal is way too bitchin! There's really nothing wrong with it. We have wage slaves now, right? We just shouldn't be able to enslave babies of slaves. They should be free of course. But their mothers need to learn a valuable lesson. Don't live beyond your means!
most entertaining comment section ever.
Paul understands that the Civil rights act is not only unconstitutional but represents the ridiculous notion that Governments can legislate and mandate social conduct (the freedom to think and act in a certian way). It forced black people to integrate with white people, something that hurt blacks ( and America) immensely. Watch the bench at a football game. Blacks sit with blacks and whites sit with whites, not because it's raciest but because it is perfectly natural.
The idea that Americans are forced, by the federal government, to hire blacks because they are black and women because they are women and fat people because they are fat and gays because they are gay and transvestites because they are transvestites should stop and make you think about what America has become.
Ron Paul is exactly correct on the Civil rights act and the similar laws that followed. Are you free to make your decisions or does the Government make them for you? One or the other.. does'nt matter what the decision is. You are free or you are not.
1. no, he wants to open it up to competition against a "sound" money (gold backed money)
2. kind of true, but all we have done is unite Islam. There are no christian churches left in the middle east and Christians are being killed daily now in Egypt and probably Libya too now.
3. WTF are you talking about link please.
You are a tool.
He may be a tool but Ron Paul is right on the Civil rights act .
So what's your point troll?
Um... this is not the Finance Yahoo or CBS Marketwatch forums.
Fed sux0rs. Milliondollarbonus, if I paid you to troll for me, I'd fire you. Yesterday. You can't even read the damn site you're posting on.
Okay, I humored you. Read it. Can I vote for him now?
Signed, yet another arrogant libertarian who also wants to abolish the Fed, end the war on terror, and allow THE PEOPLE, not the IDIOTIC GOVERNMENT to make the calls on social acceptability.
Kiss kiss.
The Devil's Advocate trolling shtick is getting quite tired. Unmask yourself and participate using your genuine candor.
As an aside, the "War on Terror" so-called has resulted in the loss of so many personal liberties and has erected so many police-state edifices, it would be well to attenuate it.
great piss take, you are taking the piss?
What a slave. It doesnt matter who is President anymore. It doesnt matter who your "representative" is anymore. We havent been represented in a century. Keep paying your taxes and contributing to your 401k and move along drone. Spread your message bro! Obama is the only one who can save us, make him dictator! Make sure you indoctrinate your kids to think and act like you too. That way theres less people buying land and hoarding metals so my kids can take the lions share.
neo con establishment douche
Wow, a masochist who comes to ZH to get his jollies. That's really desperate.
4. Ron Paul eats Dead Babies .....yadayada
Ending the Fed and the war in Afghanistan sounds good to me
you forgot to add that he eats dead babies with evil sauce too.
@ MDB, even the average American is beginning to realize that what you are saying is not true.
In response to point 1, those same poison ivy league economics professors got us into this mess and continue to advise more of the same reckless debt laden anit-solutions. They have had their chance and failed miserably. Case in point, the entire western world is based on and has tried these very ideas you support. The entire western world is failing because of these ideas. And you suggest more of the same.
In response to point 2, Ron Paul is onto something when he says it is our nation building and interference that angers the middle east. Hypothetically if America was suffering from violent protests, civil war, rampant civil rights abuses, etc, and another country came over here to reinstate democracy then Americans would violently oppose the invader, regardless of the intent of the invader. The aggressor will always be viewed negatively and be opposed regardless of the intent or justification used. The fact is that our country has been doing this for a long time, and these feelings they have toward us are generational now and deep seated. How about a peace initiative, a constructive dialogue, and exchange of ideas and culture. That would do much more to reduce terrorism. It is obvious that when you bomb a country, kill its people, interfere in its sovereignty, that the reaction will be negative and have consequences.
In response to point 3, Ron Paul has never said anything about legalizing slavery, In fact what he has said is that he is a fierce supporter of individual rights. Seems to me that if individual rights are enforced then liberties for all are protected and all of this other legislation serves no purpose. I think what Ron Paul is saying that much of the civil rights legislation only divides the people along ethic lines because it gives an elevated status to specified groups. Once again if individual rights are enforced then no one can infringe or violate anyone elses rights regardless of ethnicity or any other factor.
Americans are waking up the the realities above, hopefully it is not to late. They are seeing through the very propaganda that you and the powers that be promote. They realize the status quo has failed them and are demanding change. The ideas you mentioned have been tried without success for several generations now and have not yielded positive results. To continue to promote them is foolish and detrimental. The American people will stop the likes of you, the sooner the better.
I agree that liberterianism is not the solution, niether is communism, socialism, progressivism, conservatism or any other ism you can conjure up. All of these paradigms have failed, we have enough historical examples to back this up. Any idea has its strong and weak points. We need to have a dialogue and critically think about what our goals are, how to achieve and then implement them. A wise ZH'er once said that each of these ism's presents a dichotomy, each of these paradigms has logical failures. There is no easy solution, there is not one ism that will be the penultimate solution.
I do not agree with Ron Paul on every issue. But I will take honesty over falsehood, a step in the right direction versus more of the same, justice over fraud, equity or inequity. Ron Paul stands out as a beacon of hope. Get on board pal.
Ron Paul 2012
"According to top Ivy League economics professors" WOW. Holly shit!
Just hard facts. The FED members are mostly Jewish. The Ivy League economics professors are 85% Jewish. These clowns are moving constantly between the FED and the Ivy League economics professorship positions because their real masters, the Rothschild family, promoting their agenda prefer smoke & mirrors games to fool uneducated and stupid masses.
Well, sometimes, as a smokescree, they use people like Mr. Cain and Obama. Remember "The Hope and Change"?
MillionDollarFucktard
Libertarians wanna legalize prostitution too! I'm gonna buy a buncha slaves and start my own Mustang Ranch??
@MillionDollarBonus - love your snark/sarc!!! I can't believe all the morons that think you're serious. Anyway, please keep it coming, as it is appreciated by some of us.
he really does stir up some shit, doesn't he?
Congratulations, MDB. I think you've cracked the record for the "Most ZHers Sucked Into Indignant Replies To A Troll". Your ZH T-shirt should be on its way.
The dude has some skils, doesn't he.
-148 and counting. Its now getting embarassing. People need to calm down and learn some of the finer points about our complex and yet subtle langage, English. Here is some help from Wikipedia:
In dramatic irony, the author causes a character to speak or act erroneously, out of ignorance of some portion of the truth of which the audience is aware. In other words, the audience knows the character is making a mistake, even as the character is making it. This technique highlights the importance of a particular truth by portraying a person who is strikingly unaware of it.
Every time they hit that down arrow or launch another wave of vitriol it serves only to pull the trigger whilst the gun is firmly planted on their own foot. Please stop. It's unbecoming of this wonderful site.
Maybe you should read Dr. Paul's books before engaging in character defamation.
Legalize slavery at the state level? You're an idiot at best and at worst a shill.
..."arrogant libertarian".....hmmm....unfamiliar with that.
By the way, how thoses meds workin' out for 'ya?
ATTENTION MILLIONDOLARBONUS :
The concept of a Ron Paul supporter is not the same o as a (name-a-politician)supporter. People who support Ron Paul do so because they have learned from various experiences, have challenged their own former beliefs and have come to the conclusion that Ron Paul happens to be the only person in politics who is not in politics for power and money but rather to defend liberty and the idea of a free society for all. We do welcome your ignorance and respect that you are mentally challenged but hope that you will escape the matrix some day. Good luck to you.
PS : I think that -140 beats the record?
You're a slave. The IRS is the cruel field master and the FED, Executive, Congressional and Judicial branches of government are the plantation owners.
You know, the problem with this kind of sarcasm is, lots of people actually believe that crap. It sortof loses its sarcasticness because of that.
But I suppose you know this. Which is why, at the end of the day, you're just a pathetic attention whore.
we're all on board with points 1 & 2. just two more reasons to vote for him.......
2/10
Impressive +/- spread.
Do you have any Greek in you?
Wow!
You almost made me cancel my check to RP until I remembered a critical fact:
You're a prevaricating moron!
BTW the so-called Patriot Act is unconstitutional as are both current wars as the government failed to received a declaration of war as required in the constitution. That's why RP opposes and voted against the so called "patriot act" and wants to defund the TSA. Not only does RP understand the economy, he understands the critical role of freedom and liberty in a society. The more the establishment tries to push phonies like Cain and Romney, the more strength RP will garner.
Freedom and Liberity with the great patriot RP in 2012.
179 Junks! You may just set a record. Then I hope someone jams their junk in your trunk.
Herman "I was once a Fed president" Cain is the lastest Alan Keys incarnation, especially placed in the debates to detract from Ron Paul.
If Cain dropped the national sales tax. raised flat income tax to 15% and Corporate Tax to 15% he would get my vote. Bachman had it right when she critisized the establishment of another fed pipeline into our pockets.
Is he still running? I thought he had turned invisible again.
what's the over/under that the 9-9-9 plan would end up being 29-29-29 after 5years
That's next year. In five years it will be 90-90-90.
Abolish the Sixteenth Amendment, and then we may talk about a "VAT" or consumption tax. Either, or; not both.
1913 was a particularly bad year for legislation.
The Federal Reserve, Income Tax, and Senators elected by popular vote thereby neutering the States regarding Federal issues.
So don't just abolish the Sixteenth Amendment. Let's abolish the Fed and restore the Senate as the voice of the States.
Unfortunate, but true. Excellent observations, and I concur.
They are almost at the tipping point. If they can get the ratio to 60% pay nothing or recieve tax credits and 40% pay income tax, they should have enough votes to stay in power forever. It may take 70:30, but we are getting close. At that point the tax rates will be limited only by producers willingness to still get out of bed in the morning.
Main Stream Media: "Cain gets more then double the votes of next closest competitor"!
Only up until the point his current campaign manager dies uninsured/uninsurable and deep in debt like the last one.
When the campaign manager gets sick and dies, so does the campaign.
But he is not good in selling lies and false promises. Which unfortunately is the main thing his would-be sponsors will pay him for.
this is the only bright spot on the internet today.
.....and DOES nothing.
there is no perfect candidate and this election is riggen a million ways to sunday so, it can't really matter.
http://expose2.wordpress.com
Observe how the powers that be, WILL effectively, dis a vote Ron Paul. This is where the sheeple will really come to grips with Voter Fraud at the highest level. They do not count votes electronically ....for nothing. See blackboxvoting.org
-1 = knee jerk reactionary
Ron Paul and Elizabeth Warren. Dynamic duo.
Dynamic duo., lol. The millionaires will all say I"m leaving America!!! heh heh heh, but then, since the Tax Law exists whereby those permananltly leaving have to return 1/2 of their wealth, none will leave. That tax, signed in as a rider to the Veterans bill a couple years ago, basiclly assures that people will cooperate.
Of course those that leave will only help pay down the Debt. anyway :)
the correct answer to which Fed Chief was the best woudl be
None of the above
probably also true for all the declared candidates for president in 2012 from both parties.
Still, who in their right mind would want that?
Maybe someone successful in business who is terminally ill and wil d the right things because he or she has no future to be concerned with.
