It's Official (For the Nth Time): "No Deal"
Remember the massive market ramp that came in on "news" that the Stupor committee would actually have a resolution? It is now time to fade it. Reuters reports that "The co-chairs of the U.S. Congress "super committee" will announce that their panel has failed to reach a deal on at least $1.2 trillion in deficit reductions, a senior congressional aide said on Monday. The co-chairs, Republican Representative Jeb Hensarling and Democratic Senator Patty Murray, are expected to release their written statement soon, aides said." Now this is not any news, but the "faux" catalyst that was used by the FRBNY to send a massive market buy to Citadel was there, and was sufficiently credible to get the vacuum tubes to jump in the buying frenzy. Now let's see the reversal, or not. After all that would make too much sense for this busted market.
Full statement:
(Washington D.C.) – Today, the Co-Chairs of the Joint Select Committee on Deficit Reduction, Representative Jeb Hensarling and Senator Patty Murray, released the following statement.
"After months of hard work and intense deliberations, we have come to the conclusion today that it will not be possible to make any bipartisan agreement available to the public before the committee’s deadline.
"Despite our inability to bridge the committee's significant differences, we end this process united in our belief that the nation's fiscal crisis must be addressed and that we cannot leave it for the next generation to solve. We remain hopeful that Congress can build on this committee’s work and can find a way to tackle this issue in a way that works for the American people and our economy.
"We are deeply disappointed that we have been unable to come to a bipartisan deficit reduction agreement, but as we approach the uniquely American holiday of Thanksgiving, we want to express our appreciation to every member of this committee, each of whom came into the process committed to achieving a solution that has eluded many groups before us. Most importantly, we want to thank the American people for sharing thoughts and ideas and for providing support and good will as we worked to accomplish this difficult task.
"We would also like to thank our committee staff, in particular Staff Director Mark Prater and Deputy Staff Director Sarah Kuehl, as well as each committee member's staff for the tremendous work they contributed to this effort. We would also like to express our sincere gratitude to Dr. Douglas Elmendorf and Mr. Thomas Barthold and their teams at the Congressional Budget Office and Joint Committee on Taxation, respectively, for the technical support they provided to the committee and its members."
And the follow up
Statement by Speaker Boehner on the Announcement by Joint Select Committee Co-Chairs Jeb Hensarling & Patty Murray
Washington (Nov 21)
House Speaker John Boehner (R-OH) issued the following statement on the announcement by Joint Select Committee on Deficit Reduction co-chairs Jeb Hensarling (R-TX) and Patty Murray (D-WA):
"While I am disappointed, the House will forge ahead with the commitments we have made to reducing government spending and removing barriers standing in the way of private-sector job creation. Doing otherwise is not an option. This process did not end in the desired outcome, but it did bring our enormous fiscal challenges into greater focus. I am confident the work done by this committee will play a role in the solution we must eventually find as a nation.
"I commend both of the panel's leaders, Jeb Hensarling and Patty Murray, for the dignified and statesmanlike manner in which the committee carried out its difficult negotiations. I want to particularly thank Jeb for the principled leadership and love of country he consistently has demonstrated in leading Republicans on the Joint Select Committee, as well as Dave Camp and Fred Upton for the countless hours they invested in this process for a noble cause."

Let these fuckers hang themselves already. Well will see precisely what the "value" of everyone's labor is once the system collapses. Fucking bring it.
Shortly after 911 bin Laden said that the USA could not be defeated militarily, but could be brought down financially....
He was right. The problem is that we are doing it to ourselves...
just like 911, the economic collapse is an inside job... and no muslims with box cutters to blame this one on.
thank you.....so fucking obvious, unless you have wool in your eyes........FFFFFFFFFFFFFUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUCCCCCCCCCCCCCCCCCCCCKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEERRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSS
I called the number for The Congressional Office For Americans Wanting Fiscal Restraint & Sound Economic Policy and some dude answered and told me his name was 'Peggy.'
Have they outsourced the telephone personnel?
Joe Biden said we need to "spend more in order to avoid bankruptcy".... so of course these folks want to avoid bankruptcy, which means we need to "spend more". Stupid Keynesians!
It is being reported that Krugman has a sit-down planned with the CONgressional SuperCommittee On Can Kicking, and that he is going to propose that CONgress authorize Timmay sell bonds in a face amount equal to the as of now official U.S. National Debt, and that The Bernank has already agreed to buy them in the secondary market, thus wiping the debt out.

these tards couldn't agree even on 120B a year...of course the $1T annual war is sacrosanct and so is everything else.
LORD HELP US if we had to go back to year 2000 spending levels..ZOMG
Instead of automatic kick in of budget cuts, the fire has to be on superCons' feets. Enforce automatic resignation of any member in superCongress who can't come up with his/her share of the budget cut.
Eliminate healthcare coverage in medicaid/medicare for thsoe who are not responsible:

Why do otherwise smart people try to come up with solutions to this mess? THE MESS IS A FRAUD.
Sovereign countries do not, should not, borrow 'money' at interest from a private banking cabal. SOVEREIGN COUNTRIES DO NOT NEED TO ISSUE DEBT.
We do not need to pay our debts. They were never intended to be paid. The interest is the grift, and debt-slavery is the objective.
Don't fall into their trap. Don't argue for solutions within the system.
I nominate Trader Joe for the shortest Fed Chairmanship in history. Take the oath on the Satanic bible (keep your fingers crossed behind your back) then End The Fed.
THE ROOT OF OUR SOCIAL, ECONOMIC, MILITARISTIC WOW'S IS AN EVIL, MONETARY SYSTEM. EVERYTHING ELSE IS A SYMPTOM OR AN ACTION THAT SUPPORTS IT. AT THE HEART OF THIS SYSTEM ARE THE CENTRAL BANKS; THE FED, THOSE WHO CONTROL IT AND THEIR DISHONEST, DEBT BASED MONETARY POLICIES. AS SUCH; LAWS, THE CAPTURE OF GOVERNMENT AND THE SUSPENSION OF ACCOUNTING RULES IS FOR THEIR BENEFIT. AN ACCOUNT OF THE PEOPLE HAS NO PLACE IN IT. INDEED, IF THE PEOPLE WERE ITS PRIMARY CONCERN, THE WORLD WOULD BE MORE FREE, LESS VIOLENT AND MORE PROSPEROUS.
THE PRIVATELY HELD FED IS THE TOP REGULATOR OF ITS TBTF OWNERS AND MEMBER BANKS. IT'S CREATION OF MONEY OUT OF THIN AIR; LOANED, AT INTEREST, TO THE SOVEREIGN AND ITS FRACTIONAL RESERVE SYSTEM IS THE MOST INSIDIOUS OF CRIMINAL PONZIS FOR WHICH ALL ITS FAUX REGULATIONS AND FINANCIAL MISALLOCATIONS FOLLOW.

I laugh at all the hospitals where rich people live the "Sports Medicine" Building is the fanciest one there so Ken and Barbie (and kids) can get fixed up after the lacrose game. They also let the washington generals (poor kids on the other team) go in the backdoor during off hours where Sandusky is the orderly.
The truth be told Osama could have been an American HERO if he had only two planes flying on 911 that flew into the Capitol, one on the Senate side - the other on the Congressional side.
Seriously? Not Funny. I knew many who died that day. Cretin.
It's not funny that innocent American lives were lost that day. There's no excuse for that. It's not a laughing matter and I'm sorry for your loss.
But given all the corruption in the last decade, I do start to question when was the last time the government told the truth about anything lately? Or even further back. Bay of Pigs or the Gulf of Tonkin?
Also, I find it odd that a plane full of people would sit by and allow a few men with box cutters (box cutters??) to hi-jack a plane. I was on a 747 last week and was thinking to myself, there weren't any men with the courage to stop those guys? There wasn't a "On the count of three rush them and beat them to a pulp!" yelled out? Eh, that strike me as odd. And then don't even get me started on tower seven. How is that not a controlled demolition?
And then there's the question of how much responsibility do we put on the CIA and government for their military industrial complex programs abroad? Scale it down. If you have people from the house across the cul-de-sac occupying your backyard and kitchen to take a percentage of your goods and everytime you look out your window they are driving up a new luxury car, don't you start to build a resentment? The thing is, it's not even taxpayers like you and I starting these wars. It's the government and corporations, while we get to pay the cost with lives when there's blowback.
It's not a pass on killing innocent Americans, but our government is partly responsible for 9/11. That is if they didn't manufacture the whole thing themselves.
Food for thought: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=jl2JQfxnnHU
INNOCENT?
Americans ARE NOT innocent. We have sat by and VOTED FOR these wars and these people who've waged wars, for our hegemony, our military empire- ALL OF IT.
We ALL have blood all over us.
You want to talk fucking innocents? How many civilians have we racked up as "collateral damage" in "kinetic actions" or any of the other million euphemisms our military uses for fucking SLAUGHTER?
You 911 weepy motherfuckers make me SICK. We ACT and CONDUCT our foreign policy LIKE WAR. Our base structure and military presence is a show of WAR. We are WAGING WAR. And someone we waged against HIT US. This is what FUCKING HAPPENS.
Cry for the dead in Nagasaki or Dresden or Berlin or Leningrad or Baghdad or anywhere. Don't fucking act like the American public is innocent.
Americans are like mafia wives. Acts innocent but benefit from murders of others.
Since 1941 the United States has been constantly at war around the planet. When he left the White House in 1961, President Dwight D. Eisenhower, who knew what he was talking about, had warned of "the acquisition of unwarranted influence, whether sought or unsought, by the military-industrial complex", but nobody listened.
Big bucks and the arms makers have ended up running the show, with billions to be made in conflicts hot and cold. America had been the aggressor in 200 wars, big or small, since 1945. Iraq and Afghanistan are but the latest.
@Trav
So those who died on 9/11 deserved it somehow? Because they went to work? Maybe becasue they worked in the financial industry? No, wait, many who worked outside it also died, so that can't be what you mean. Maybe Because they are Americans?
What if it was you who was among them? You are American, right? Or your kids?
BTW, I agree that our foreign policy is imperialist and brutal, but that doesn't make jokes that disregard the horror of that day and its consequences any more acceptable.
All I know is the guy who says "We have some planes" on the ATC tapes sounds like a young Henry Kissinger
Further food for thought:
On the day of 9-11, the US had just finished amassing 17,000 troops in Egypt - joining 23,000 NATO troops - in 'Operation Bright Star'. The US had also just stationed 2 carrier battle groups in the Arabian Sea just off the coast of Pakistan (ie. directly below Afghanistan). This operation had begun planning years earlier.
Also on the day of 9-11, the British were in the process of moving 24 ships and 23,000 troops to Oman (just outside the Persian Gulf) in 'Operation Swift Sword II'. This operation had also begun planning in 1997 and was announced on November 8, 2000.
So ... 63,000 NATO troops were pre-positioned ready for a rapid takeover of the recently destroyed opium poppy fields of Afghanistan when, lo-and-behold, "nobody-could-see-this-coming", some raghedz with box-cutters on 9-11 triggered the pre-planned invasion of Afghanistan, which took place just 4 weeks later. All major military operations take years of planning to mobilise the men, equipment and logistics.
The gun was loaded and cocked and some patsies were used to pull the trigger. The whole thing was an elaborate setup.
"The problem is that we are doing it ourselves..." Interesting statement. I'd first ask who's this "we" you speak of. Then I realized "we" are doing it to ourselves. You and I. Of course the solution to keeping "we" from going down would get me labeledd a terrorist. We live in two America's. There's you and I who pay taxes, work forty hours a week, vote in a representative to "represent" us, and then there are the ruling oligarchs who have use a debt based monetary system to keep power and buy our representatives. Two nations falsely believing they are one. One of these America's needs to go. I'd like to hope that one America would go peacefully, but if OWS (whether you agree with it or not), is a sign of the future one of these America's will not go peacefully.
It'd be nice to say tie all of Congress's compensation to results, but then it'd have to pass the same Congress that it would affect. It'd be nice to say we only pay taxes when our representatives...represent us. But the IRS tends to frown on that and send you to jail. It'd be nice to type what the solution really is on a forum, but I'm sure my keystrokes are being recorded for my "future trial" on treason against the State or some other manufactured thought crime. I'd love to wish that everyone would stop paying taxes and bank held debt immediately in order to cut off Big Brother's life line and that citizens would create their own state currencies backed by resources and production output, but getting that may be too radical.
Buffet a while back said something about there being class warfare in America and that his class, the rich, were winning. We must take away their power. The only peaceful solution I see is for the states and their citizens to create their own currencies that props up an independent economy from the Federal one.
"In the Colonies, we issue our own paper money. It is called ‘Colonial Scrip.’ We issue it in proper proportion to make the goods and pass easily from the producers to the consumers. In this manner, creating ourselves our own paper money, we control its purchasing power and we have no interest to pay to no one.” - Benjamin Franklin
Highest echelons of government can't accomplish anything constructive. All elected representatives, senators, officials should apologize for their collective failure. And then resign!!!
And have ALL of their assets returned to the people.
i wish
What?? Do you think this is Japan??
Look on the bright side. Doing absolutely nothing is better than the complete mess Congress generally makes of things, so at least they're making forward progress.
But...in this case not doing anything means dramatic spending cuts
At this point, nothing can be done to forestall the inevitable collapse. No amount of austerity or growth will help. We have a debt-money system based upon compound interest. Credit must grow, including government debt.
These people aren't stupid or incompetent. They're just not working for you.
Good.
"All elected representative, senators, officials should apoligize for their collective failure..." Failure to who? Certainly not to their largest campaign donors.
I’m afraid to say this is reminiscent of the childish political gridlock that we experienced during the debt ceiling debate. This indecision is pathetic and childish, and it’s time President Obama simply raised the debt ceiling by executive order so that we don’t have to have this dangerous discussion about impractical and damaging cuts in the first place. This move would really demonstrate Obama's authority and would contribute towards marketing the Obama 2012 campaign. This country needs a strong father-like figure to take care of the economy, so that we don't have to worry about it.
That was a good one! Did you steal it from Olberman?

Well they did put one in Homeland Insecurity.
Where do you get this stuff. some father-like a football coach? We've had enough figure(heads) taking care of the economy through their macro levers and see where it got us: a lifetime of pounding soreness.
Then keep bending over and look back, say give it to me daddy..........MillionDollarBonus_ = dump ass. good grief.
I agree. I want Obama to take care of this for me. It is worrying me and I don't like having my mellow harshed by this sort of financial stuff. The numbers are just too big and they make my head hurt with all this economics talk.
Just FIX IT!!!!!!11

cant we get these intractable fucks into binding arbitraton?
thus forcing them, to save the nation from absolute ruin.
Your correct, but I think this time they are wrong. You see our politicians aren't the elite, they are the useful idiots that the elite and super rich use to make them wealthy and keep the people down. What will happen is that our politicians and their minions will be left holding the bag after everything is looted and the elite have moved on to greener pastures to start the process over again.
Preach it!!!

Why would they ever want to solve the budget problem? Does anybody actually believe they want to do something with it? For the status quo, it's gonna be easier to start an all-out war against Iran and solve all those economic problems we have through military spending. I know Krugman would agree.
Correctomundo, they don't want anything approaching a balanced budget.
The order from on high is borrow and spend, borrow and spend some more, and keep on borrowing and spending.
This is what sheeple need to understand. Destruction of the dollar is the grand plan. The best way to do that is run the government so far in debt it loses all credibility and the dollar collapses.
Can any confirm the following:
The date is February 21, 1871 and the Forty-First Congress is in session. I refer you to the "Acts of the Forty-First Congress," Section 34, Session III, chapters 61 and 62. On this date in the history of our nation, Congress passed an Act titled: "An Act To Provide A Government for the District of Columbia." This is also known as the "Act of 1871." What does this mean? Well, it means that Congress, under no constitutional authority to do so, created a separate form of government for the District of Columbia, which is a ten mile square parcel of land.
What??? How could they do that? Moreover, WHY would they do that? To explain, let's look at the circumstances of those days. The Act of 1871 was passed at a vulnerable time in America. Our nation was essentially bankrupt — weakened and financially depleted in the aftermath of the Civil War. The Civil War itself was nothing more than a calculated "front" for some pretty fancy footwork by corporate backroom players. It was a strategic maneuver by European interests (the international bankers) who were intent upon gaining a stranglehold on the neck (and the coffers) of America.
The Congress realized our country was in dire financial straits, so they cut a deal with the international bankers — (in those days, the Rothschilds of London were dipping their fingers into everyone's pie) thereby incurring a DEBT to said bankers. If we think about banks, we know they do not just lend us money out of the goodness of their hearts. A bank will not do anything for you unless it is entirely in their best interest to do so. There has to be some sort of collateral or some string attached which puts you and me (the borrower) into a subservient position. This was true back in 1871 as well. The conniving international bankers were not about to lend our floundering nation any money without some serious stipulations. So, they devised a brilliant way of getting their foot in the door of the United States (a prize they had coveted for some time, but had been unable to grasp thanks to our Founding Fathers, who despised them and held them in check), and thus, the Act of 1871 was passed.
In essence, this Act formed the corporation known as THE UNITED STATES. Note the capitalization, because it is important. This corporation, owned by foreign interests, moved right in and shoved the original "organic" version of the Constitution into a dusty corner. With the "Act of 1871," our Constitution was defaced in the sense that the title was block-capitalized and the word "for" was changed to the word "of" in the title. The original Constitution drafted by the Founding Fathers, was written in this manner:
"The Constitution for the united states of America".
The altered version reads: "THE CONSTITUTION OF THE UNITED STATES OF AMERICA". It is the corporate constitution. It is NOT the same document you might think it is. The corporate constitution operates in an economic capacity and has been used to fool the People into thinking it is the same parchment that governs the Republic. It absolutely is not.
Capitalization — an insignificant change? Not when one is referring to the context of a legal document, it isn't. Such minor alterations have had major impacts on each subsequent generation born in this country. What the Congress did with the passage of the Act of 1871 was create an entirely new document, a constitution for the government of the District of Columbia. The kind of government THEY created was a corporation. The new, altered Constitution serves as the constitution of the corporation, and not that of America. Think about that for a moment.
Incidentally, this corporate constitution does not benefit the Republic. It serves only to benefit the corporation. It does nothing good for you or me — and it operates outside of the original Constitution. Instead of absolute rights guaranteed under the "organic" Constitution, we now have "relative" rights or privileges. One example of this is the Sovereign's right to travel, which has been transformed under corporate government policy into a "privilege" which we must be licensed to engage in. This operates outside of the original Constitution.
So, Congress committed TREASON against the People, who were considered Sovereign under the Declaration of Independence and the organic Constitution. When we consider the word "Sovereign," we must think about what the word means.
http://www.serendipity.li/jsmill/us_corporation.htm
U.S. Citizen/Subject – A corporate fictitious entity that merely represents the real person. It acts as a “strawman.” [To call oneself a “sovereign citizen” or “sovereign subject” is an oxymoron, since “sovereign” and “citizen/subject” are mutually exclusive of each other.] When asked if you are a “U.S. Citizen” on corporate legal documents, if you check “yes,” you agree to the terms of Corporate Law and unknowingly relinquish your sovereign status and transfer all of your rights to the UNITED STATES CORPORATION since you are now under contract.
From a speech in Congress in The Bankruptcy of the United States Congressional Record, March 17, 1993, Vol. 33, page H-1303, Speaker Representative James Trafficant Jr. (Ohio) addressing the House states:
“…It is an established fact that the United States Federal Government has been dissolved by the Emergency Banking Act, March 9, 1933, 48 Stat. 1, Public Law 89-719; declared by President Roosevelt, being bankrupt and insolvent. H.J.R. 192, 73rd Congress m session June 5, 1933 – Joint Resolution To Suspend The Gold Standard and Abrogate The Gold Clause dissolved the Sovereign Authority of the United States and the official capacities of all United States Governmental Offices, Officers, and Departments and is further evidence that the United States Federal Government exists today in name only.
The receivers of the United States Bankruptcy are the International Bankers, via the United Nations, the World Bank and the International Monetary Fund. All United States Offices, Officials, and Departments are now operating within a de facto status in name only under Emergency War Powers. With the Constitutional Republican form of Government now dissolved, the receivers of the Bankruptcy have adopted a new form of government for the United States. This new form of government is known as a Democracy, being an established Socialist/Communist order under a new governor for America. This act was instituted and established by transferring and/or placing the Office of the Secretary of Treasury to that of the Governor of the International Monetary Fund. Public Law 94-564, page 8, Section H.R. 13955 reads in part: “The U.S. Secretary of Treasury receives no compensation for representing the United States…
Prior to 1913, most Americans owned clear, allodial title to property, free and clear of any liens of mortgages until the Federal Reserve Act (1913) “Hypothecated” all property within the Federal United States to the Board of Governors of the Federal Reserve, in which the Trustees (stockholders) held legal title. The U.S. Citizen (tenant, franchisee) was registered as a “beneficiary” of the trust via his/her birth certificate. In 1933, the Federal United States hypothecated all of the present and future properties, assets, and labor of their “subjects,” the 14th Amendment U.S. Citizen to the Federal Reserve System. In return, the Federal Reserve System agreed to extend the federal United States Corporation all of the credit “money substitute” it needed.
Like any debtor, the Federal United States government had to assign collateral and security to their creditors as a condition of the loan. Since the Federal United States didn’t have any assets, they assigned the private property of their “economic slaves,” the U.S. Citizens, as collateral against the federal debt. They also pledged the unincorporated federal territories, national parks, forests, birth certificates, and nonprofit organizations as collateral against the federal debt. All has already been transferred as payment to the international bankers.
Unwittingly, America has returned to its pre-American Revolution feudal roots whereby all land is held by a sovereign and the common people had no rights to hold allodial title to property. Once again, We the People are the tenants and sharecroppers renting our own property from a Sovereign in the guise of the Federal Reserve Bank. We the People have exchanged one master for another.”
http://dev.republicoftheunitedstates.org/what-is-the-republic/history/
Huh? Allodial title was never so widespread in the US. Where do you people get your facts?
You need to re- read the Constitution, dude. Article 1, section 8 granted Congress legislative power over DC ... and nearly every city in all states is organized as a corporation.
I can't fault you on the right to travel argument, though ... There is no shortage of laws that incrasingly bind he citizenry to their Homeland ... Resistance is futile, nay, it is unpatriotic!
thankyou C-322

ps. give me more, i like the food here
My pleasure, earleflorida. Polly want a cracker. Here you go. It get worse.
AMERICAN PEOPLE, YOU have the ability to understand the information in this letter. YOU have the ability to understand the present law and past law, the Constitution. That's right!...I'm saying the Constitution is past tense, as a restrictive document on Congress. I do not make this statement lightly and I can prove it.
The Constitution was a commercial compact between states, giving the federal government limited powers. The Bill of Rights was meant not as our source of rights, but as further limitations on the federal government. Our fore-fathers saw the potential for danger in the U. S. Constitution. To insure the Constitution was not presumed to be our source of rights, the 10th Amendment was added. I will use a quote from Thomas Jefferson, February 15, 1791, where he quotes the 10th Amendment...
The created United States government cannot define the rights of their creator, the American people. Three forms of law were granted to the Constitution, common law, equity (contract law) and Admiralty law. Each had their own jurisdiction and purpose. The first issue I want to cover is the United States flag. Obviously from known history our flag did not have a yellow fringe bordering three sides. The United States did not start putting flags with a yellow fringe on them in government buildings and public buildings until 1959. Of course the question you would ask yourself; why did it change and are there any legal meanings behind this? Oh yes!
First the appearance of our flag is defined in Title 4 sec. 1. U.S.C..
A foot note was added on page 1113 of the same section which says:
The president as military commander can add a yellow fringe to our flag. When would this be done? During a time of war. Why? A flag with a fringe is an ensign, a military flag. Read the following.
From the National Encyclopedia, Volume 4:
The reason I started with the Flag issue is because it is so easy to grasp. The main problem I have with the yellow fringe is that by its use our Constitutional Republic is no more. Our system of law was changed without the public's knowledge. It was kept secret. This is fraud. The American people were allowed to believe this was just a decoration. Because the law changed from Common Law (God's Law) to Admiralty Law (the kings law) your status also changed from sovereign to subject. From being able to own property (allodial title) to not owning property (tenet on the land). If you think you own your property, stop paying taxes, it will be taken under the prize law.
By our allowing to let these military flags fly, the American people have admitted our defeat and loss of status. Read on, you'll see what I mean. Remember the Constitution recognizes three forms of law, being governed by the Law of the Flag is Admiralty law. I will cover this in a minute, the following is a definition of the legal term Law of the Flag.
Don't be thrown by the fact they are talking about the sea, and that it doesn't apply to land, I will prove to you that Admiralty law has come on land. Next a court case:
When you walk into a court and see this flag you are put on notice that you are in a Admiralty Court and that the king is in control. Also, if there is a king the people are no longer sovereign. You're probably saying this is the most incredible thing I have ever heard. YOU have read the proof, it will stand up in court. But wait, there is more, you probably would say, how could this happen? Here's how. Admiralty law is for the sea, maritime law govern's contracts between parties that trade over the sea. Well, that's what our fore-fathers intended. However, in 1845 Congress passed an act saying Admiralty law could come on land. The bill may be traced in Cong. Globe, 28th Cong., 2d. Sess. 43, 320, 328, 337, 345(1844-45), no opposition to the Act is reported. Congress held a committee on this subject in 1850 and they said:
It was up to the Supreme Court to stop Congress and say NO! The Constitution did not give you that power, nor was it intended. But no, the courts began a long train of abuses, here are some excerpts from a few court cases.
" 40. Guess who owns the UN? "

Yup, there are some mysteries,
Tell me about this one,

Why are they there?
Why are the words printed in micro print?

An AR-15 and 1911 .45 ACP.
"When plunder becomes a way of life for a group of men/women,
living together in society,
they create for themselves in the course of time a legal system that authorizes it and a moral code that glorifies it."
Frederic Bastiat, (1801-1850)
Way ahead of you, if not ahead, then running next to you, I don't know.
Many things on you're list and your ideations are, for me and mine, older than 8 years.
We've already seen evidence that the United States went bankrupt in 1933. When this happened, the governors of all the states met to discuss what should be done. The state governors made a "pledge" to the federal government, to fund the bankruptcy. They pledged the assets and the energy of the people belonging to the state governments. They would back the "government" and secure the national debt. But there was one problem: The states could only speak for the people in their public capacity. They could not pledge private, living human beings or property. So it was necessary to create a "bridge" between the living people and the creditors for the bankruptcy. The answer was to create straw men to stand in the place of the people. Now the only problem was devising a scheme whereby the people would agree to contract with the straw man as its surety.
When you sign your check you naturally sign it in lower case cursive, that will not do, so the banks or whoever, do not want to bring attention to this problem, the solution is to install micro print under your signature, problem solved.
Get a magnifying glass, check it out, go to you're bank ask the manager what is the purpose of the micro print.
I have asked many times at different banks, no one has a clue, no one has ever noticed the micro print.
Put up or shut up, what does the micro-print say?
Invest in hemp. You can smoke it, make clothes, eat it, and most importantly make real good ropes with it.
I agree but it's not about bringing it it's about the INEVITABLE GREAT PURGE. There must be a reset as fundamentals are out of control and the structural core imbalances are such that there is no policy, plan, fix, QE injection etc. that can correct this motherfucker -- the system must be rebooted and that will not be without serious pain. The quicker this thing implodes the less suffering over time.
instead of mandatory budget cuts for not coming up with a plan, every swinging dick and twat on that super committee should be forced out of office for incompetence...it should have been drafted and implemented that way
"Countless hours invested?" Really, they didn't take pay or bennies for that "work"?

#Notusedenough: The term FAIL in conjunction with politicians.
FREE JON CORZINE!
and wesley snipes, and dont put timmy in there at all we've wasted enough taxpayer money on him.
*with purchase of another bankster of equal or greater value.
The Mafia Bankers have hidden Corzine (kor-zee-nee), probably in the hills of Italy (a la Michael Corleone). Please set him free. Senator Pat Robertson has been looking for him everywhere and can't find him (subpoena is about to be served). Please help.
Here's the video, (starts at 3:36)
http://www.businessinsider.com/senator-pat-roberts-on-mf-global-2011-11#...
Make him President! In this country, you prove your worth by being the ultimate thief....didn't they call them "robber barrons" in the early 20th? And we love 'em!
How about OCCUPY JON CORZINE instead? (where is he?)
His fellow Mafia Bankers have him in hiding at a secret location. But please FREE JON CORZINE! It will break my heart to see an Alfa Romeo go up in smoke.
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=JCOaI06zAvg
One of the best films ever. And you're right about the Alfa. If they go that route, maybe they could find a Yugo instead.
No, seriously, he is free for the taking, if you really want him.
Corzine could have at least co-mingled the 15 trillion.
John Corzine was a victim of circumstance. He has said, through the attorney he has retained, that there's no way 1.2 billion, as reported today, is missing from MF Global.
They're only willing to stipulate that as much as 1.1 billion was misappropriated, and not a dime more.
He stated that he is growing tired of the nefarious accusations against him.
#KeepCorzineFree
It's not missing ... The money is sitting precisely where Corzine intended it to go.
#occupyfistjonsanus
did anyone think it would get done? throw all thse asshats out ...
Nop. That's why they say: THE 340TH TIME IS THE CHARM!
So next up: 10th try... 330 more to go to the road of succes....
I SAY: LET STRIPPERS TRY IS THIS TIME!
Can a brutha get a debt downgrade?
2008 was the Crisis no one saw coming. The next crisis will be the one everyone saw coming but were unwilling to do anything to stop. Hang every last one of them!
hey baby_B!
Bears @ raiders next sunday!
zeroHedge bowl!
reserve a couch now, BiCheZ!
I'd cut the bears chances in half with Cutler's broken thumb. Pivotal game for certain with Pakers undefeated in their division. If Chicago doesn't win, I say they have a very difficult time making it to the Playoffs. The defense is gonna really have to step it up to make up for the slack in the offense. Should be a great game nonetheless!
it's that time of the year
"iron man" mannelly also down for da bears, i c.
well, you knocked off the chargers!
the weather is s'posed to clear on friday, but we'll see what's behind this current dew point of radioactivity
I don't f'ing care how many times the Stupid Committee tells me there is a deal or there isn't a deal. You STILL suck.
The Committee to Reshuffle the Deck Chairs on the Titanic has failed in its mission to reshuffle the deck chairs.
Chuckles .......
ES below 1193 close from 8/4 when the neckline broke...
Lots of broken necks upcoming.
Too bad the majority will not be preceeded by a short drop.
Yes, the long drop preferred by the English executioners, broke their neck and made the prisoners death fast, but a short drop (I say only one or 2") will let them slowly stangle to death while doing a good dance, and they will suffer a lot.
Fucking action is getting to be 90% outside normal trading hours. Another tactic from Ben that's fucking pissing me off. Fuck Ben
It´s funny because I suffer from the same problem but I´m at least six hours away from your time zone...
i know, real fun holding anything overnight. its nothing but gambling at this point -- place your bet on green or red at close, wait for some after-hours central bank or soverign market-moving news, and wake up to see whether you've won or lost 10%.
'The Mom In Tennis Shoes' is, and always will be, a moron.
Looking at todays chart I´d say this is pretty priced in. I don´t think anyone expected the Stupor (that´s funny..) comittee to actually get anything done.
But it is interesting to see how the politrucks are unable to even skim off some at the very top. This is the ultimate proof that the holw is too deep and whatever shovel they have is too small to dig us anything but a little deeper.
Maybe a committee named after a more inspirational hero. Superman is so retro. How about "Rambo Committee"? "Chuck Norris Committee", and he could be the moderator, and this time they have to meet in the same room. No breaks. Screw it, no meals. Everyone knows the issues already.
Jena - you couldn't be more correct. why does this have to be a 'super' committee? super to what?
how about something along the lines of 'congressional fiscal committee'? everything has to be bigger and better and more infantile. in a culture that glorifies stupidy and violence, what would you expect?
'travels in hyper-reality' by umberto eco. recommended reading for anyone on this blog, it's hilarious and sad. and from the late 80's and it's only gotten worse.
very important note of his - at a diner. one doesn't ask for 'another coffee' - one asks for 'more coffee'. that's our country and it's 'super committee'. which failed.
I think I know just what you mean. I remember waking up kind of weird from a medicated nap as we stopped for gas in the middle of Vegas in the mid-90's. A lot of fat tourists standing in groups amid the spectacle that was Vegas back then: crazy traffic, busy street corners, screaming storefront signs, garish casino fixtures and cranes all over as the building continued. The people made me think of the film "Day of the Locusts" but a few years later when I read the Eco piece it's exactly where my mind went.
"Congressional fiscal committee" sounds so dignified. I guess that's why no one thought of it.
Hmmmm, they are actually about to admit failure instead of candy coat it until it looks like success... Wait, wtf, I'm confused...
No deal is The Deal
This was "the plan" all along.
What can they do......
They were just testing the markets reaction. They'll extend the deadline....fail again prompting another market crash........extend deadline again.....call Dimon, Paulson, Uncle Warren, Pelosi, Lord Blankfield and negotiate the neccesary cuts......making billions for the banking clan and burying the middle and lower classes!
Mission accomplished. Did anyone actually expect any different? This was textbook politics. I would like them to return the money they spent however. Salaries, dinners out, expenses, etc. No product = no pay.
Put the supercommittee in fukushima reactor 1 building for the next meeting.
They can come out when they reach a super agreement.
A glowing solution!
The political Fall-out would be hard to clean up.
It would be interesting to measure the half-life of any particular proposal they could come up with.
There would be a new clear reaction to any successful proposal.
Stupor Committee failure doesn't count as news until 6pm EST when it is officially announced.
Bullish! Now they get to buy an election. Maybe.
Who's 'they'? Soros?
Funny you bring that up:
'George Soros says ECB must stop bond run at all costs, and should cap some bond yield'He just won't go away...
did he sell the same gold he never had again?
why don't we stop paying to those morons.
Any company would fire any1 who does not produce results. Why are we continue to pay their fucking salaries and perks while they achieve absolutely nothing....
I want to be a Senator. I have years of expirience of doing nothing and i garantee iw will not produce the results if i can get their salary.
But can you lie to someone, telling them how much you love them, all while standing on their neck with both hands in their pockets? This is important, so think it over.
Sure, give me a teleprompter and than.... legay i won't lie, i will be reading from teleprompt.
On Technicality i will be fine and rewarded.
Like they live off of their salaries... insider trading say what?!
i agree on inside trading... which makes a better case not to pay them at all.
If i get to be a senator, not only me will be doing inside trading, all of my friends.
Viva legal criminallity.
your avatar is a fish (Born Again Cretin, sorry Christian) on wheels ...is it the same bumper sticker I see with 'Darwin' inside it representing BAC's worst nightmare, that we got here through evolution and not the entirely empty but hysterical Jewish fairy story about God creating Adam & Eve?
...if so respect.. first time i saw it i pissed myself thinking how uppy BAC's would get following the sticker, i could barely drive for tears in my eyes for half an hour... and still cracks me up everytime ;))
i am a positive agnostic and don't give a single flying fuck about religion.
Tough i do belive that religion is the only tool that can control and manipulate the people.
We need to make a stronger case for religion. Imagine when every idiot will stop beliving their fairy tale?
We used to have 3 options.
1.Militarry
2. Economy
3 Religion
Out of 3, religion is still a surviving option to accomplish the control
as for avatar, i find its cute ... Jesus with legs...
Hear, hear! Fuk atheists, they are just Lib tools like the GW diks.
GW = global warming, to you peak oil diks.
Eventually, Congress will act to cut the deficit, but not until the absolute last moment and at a far higher cost than would be necessary with prudent planning. One can blame the 535 Members in D.C., but the true responsibility lies with the people who send them there.—MarketWatch
That statement today from MarketWatch, putting all the blame on on the failure of the supercommittee to reach a debt resolution upon the people for what the international bankers, their lobbyists, and their captured politicians do, exemplifies just how corrupt and willing the media is to serve its owners. They blame us for what they do.
The two-party system is a dramatically failed system at the moment because special powers have taken over both parties to control primaries and a willing press such as that Face the Nation used yesterday against Ron Paul combines to make elections worthless.
For example,.over the past decade, both Fannie and Freddie made the list of Washington's top 20 lobbying spenders. They spent a combined $170 million to cultivate allies during that period, a bit less than the American Medical Association and a bit more than General Electric. At the same time, their executives have consistently led the mortgage-banking sector in campaign giving to members of Congress, contributing a combined $16.2 million from 1997 to 2008.
People who have lobbied on their behalf have played or are playing roles in the presidential campaigns as they did for the campaigns of Obama and McCain. But there will be no contributions for Ron Paul; instead lobbyist campaign funds will be used to stop him cold using any Saul Alinsky technique possible.
Eventually, Congress will act to cut the deficit, but not until the absolute last moment and at a far higher cost than would be necessary with prudent planning. One can blame the 535 Members in D.C., but the true responsibility lies with the people who send them there.—MarketWatch
You're Right JR. They blame us for what they do.
We, fight in their wars. Pay them taxes. Buy into their markets based on "confidence". Allow them to spy on us. Allow them to search us and even our children. In short, we have made every sacrifice asked of us and where has it gotten us?
We can't even peacfully protest without getting peppered or clubbed.....
I know they had a posting on here about Allianz. Anyone see the Bloomberg article about Deutsche Bank?
Ah crap, Cavuto just called it officially dead.
Bad me.
"If we fail to make an agreement before the dead line.....just wait longer!!! ALLRIGHTY THEN!"
Even if they magically made a deal to cut $2 trillion over 10 years, what difference does it make when they will add 5x that to the $15 trillion in debt the country already has? It's another scam and nothing is going to stop the ship from sinking.
and that $200B/yr (which is based on fraudulent accounting anyways) is well, well within the CBO's historical margin of error when predicting revenues in the out years. it is, literally and almost unfathomably, a rounding error.
i'm not even sure why the market would react negatively (or positively) one way or the other. coming to a deal that involves shaving $400B from some projected budget increase in 2019-2020 is entirely meaningless.
I'm very optimistic that a deal will struck that will put the U.S. back on sane fiscal national footing. /snark
Does anyone remember these Greenspanian gems?
-- Alan Greenspan
--Marcus Tullius Cicero
I was looking for these over the weekend to show a few acquaintances who argued basically exactly what the MSM touts.
Thank you.
You are always welcome.
Way Back When Alan Greesnspan & Cicero were so naive, weren't they?
Little did they know that The Bernank would be born onto this world, and that The Bernank was to be The One, rendering Greenspan's points on toilet paper...I mean fiat currency...and Cicero's silly admonition about debt proliferation meaningless.
And I'm very optimistic that the big news in the morning will be that Elvis really isn't dead but is living with Marilyn Monroe in Cleveland.
Ha ... and the US government still has the balls to tell Europe it's fucked up. The comedy just keeps rolling along.
Anyone who didn't see this failure coming from a country mile away is just willfully blind and deserves whatever losses are incurred as a result of their delusion.
Good job boys. How much money was spent (a billion?) on this commitee which was going to cut a whopping 120 billion a year off a four trillion budget.
This is so ridiculous that is not even funny anymore. They should be taken out and shot for treason.
according to the statement...the "super duper committee" is
"united in our belief that the fiscal crisis must be addressed"
well no shit
well duh, they exist to spend more money not less money
Ron Paul
Howie Mandel
Perfect ending to complete bullshit
goober committee of drooling vegetables epitomizing brain dead representative gooberment. We'll need another bernie madoff scapegoat to keep the pitchforks & torches from new 52wk highs. madoff former fraudsters no good. We need new blood like someone involved in God's work. Offer up hemorrhoid blankfiend & we'll call all the pants downing pillaging of citizens even.
Why is anyone suprised at the super-committee's failure? It was by design. The whole thing was designed to give cover to Republicans to agree to extend the debt ceiling. Failure was obvious. Look who each side put on the committee. If they were serious, the sides wouldn't have put each party's partisan holy warriors in there. It's like putting Emperor Palpatine and Yoda in a room and expect them to come up with a power sharing agreement.
