It's Official: Obama Is Now The Worst American President As His Approval Rating Plunges Far Below Carter's
We doubt many will be surprised by the latest presidential polling update from Gallup, and certainly not the record nearly 50 million Americans on foodstamps, but here it is nonetheless, from US News: "President Obama's slow ride down Gallup's daily presidential job approval index has finally passed below Jimmy Carter, earning Obama the worst job approval rating of any president at this stage of his term in modern political history. Since March, Obama's job approval rating has hovered above Carter's, considered among the 20th century's worst presidents, but today Obama's punctured Carter's dismal job approval line. On their comparison chart, Gallup put Obama's job approval rating at 43 percent compared to Carter's 51 percent." One can only imagine what would happen to Obama's ratings if indeed the Iranian hostage situation escalated and the president was forced to get involved, in addition to oil spiking to "doomsday" levels of course as Pimco's worst case predicts: "Back in 1979, Carter was far below Obama until the Iran hostage crisis, eerily being duplicated in Tehran today with Iranian protesters storming the British embassy. The early days of the crisis helped Carter's ratings, though his failure to win the release of captured Americans, coupled with a bad economy, led to his defeat by Ronald Reagan in 1980." And while some may say this is merely a one time blip, a longer-term average shows otherwise: "Gallup finds that Obama's overall job approval rating so far has averaged 49 percent. Only three former presidents have had a worse average rating at this stage: Carter, Ford, and Harry S. Truman. Only Truman won re-election in an anti-Congress campaign that Obama's team is using as a model." On the other hand, neither Ford nor Carter has such erudite opponents as Herman "I did not sleep with those 999 women" Cain.
Here are the job approval numbers for other presidents at this stage of their terms, a year before the re-election campaign:
- Harry S. Truman: 54 percent.
- Dwight Eisenhower: 78 percent.
- Lyndon B. Johnson: 44 percent.
- Richard M. Nixon: 50 percent.
- Ronald Reagan: 54 percent.
- George H.W. Bush: 52 percent.
- Bill Clinton: 51 percent.
- George W. Bush: 55 percent.
That's right. Not one, but both Bushes...

It used to be that a goodly part of that 39% would be idealistic bleeding hearts, convinced Obama was doing good, somehow, and that he cares more than the rascally republicans. We're going to see the goblins in their full regalia just before everything gets real chaotic again. But we'll have true clarity eventually. Victory means endless toil, but with heart and hope, defeat means endless toil in a misery that we will eventually learn to accept, Dr. Zhivago style, or worse.
What can you personally do? Aside from the obvious, support people who are doing what you (we) can't or won't do - taking the fight to the globalists. One of two things is true with regard to your possible contribution to the effort: 1. The doomers like me are spouting shit and we're wasting our money on the likes of Ron Paul, everything will work our more or less fine. 2. Most of what you have and own is going to lose most or all of its value in the coming years, and you will wish you'd done more when you still could. To be honest, Obama does not seem to resonate with the public as much as he used to, and a switch of parties is occasionally necessary to restore faith in our government and the political process. However it’s worth noting that there is a place and time for each party. The Republicans are strong leaders and are needed in a time of war, to stand up to the terrorists and be tough. Mitt Romney fits this role perfectly, and is furthermore willing to face down Iran EVEN if it means war. That is why he is rightfully the front runner in the republican primary. The democrats on the other hand are needed to be compassionate and care for the poor by providing welfare out of the kindness of their hearts. I personally believe that a compassionate democrat is able to deliver more effective fiscal stimulus programs to get this economy moving again, but Iran is certainly a threat and one could certainly make the case that this is a time for a strong republican.

I do not want to argue about "passionate democrats" but Obama went much further than that. His policies de facto transform the country in welfare state where majority of population directly depend on government handouts. The whole "he's not a citizen" thing just doesn't make sense. What makes more sense is that Obama had stalled the release of his birth certificate specifically in order to engender the conspiratorial mind set of the "birthers." Such a move would keep all the red and blue little people arguing about nonsense rather than discussing things like the military-industrial complex, the Fed and the Constitution.

Jimmy Carter is the best President in my lifetime. He wanted us energy independent by the year 2000. He was a peace maker(camp david accords), not a murdering warmonger.
