It's Official: Obama Is Now The Worst American President As His Approval Rating Plunges Far Below Carter's
We doubt many will be surprised by the latest presidential polling update from Gallup, and certainly not the record nearly 50 million Americans on foodstamps, but here it is nonetheless, from US News: "President Obama's slow ride down Gallup's daily presidential job approval index has finally passed below Jimmy Carter, earning Obama the worst job approval rating of any president at this stage of his term in modern political history. Since March, Obama's job approval rating has hovered above Carter's, considered among the 20th century's worst presidents, but today Obama's punctured Carter's dismal job approval line. On their comparison chart, Gallup put Obama's job approval rating at 43 percent compared to Carter's 51 percent." One can only imagine what would happen to Obama's ratings if indeed the Iranian hostage situation escalated and the president was forced to get involved, in addition to oil spiking to "doomsday" levels of course as Pimco's worst case predicts: "Back in 1979, Carter was far below Obama until the Iran hostage crisis, eerily being duplicated in Tehran today with Iranian protesters storming the British embassy. The early days of the crisis helped Carter's ratings, though his failure to win the release of captured Americans, coupled with a bad economy, led to his defeat by Ronald Reagan in 1980." And while some may say this is merely a one time blip, a longer-term average shows otherwise: "Gallup finds that Obama's overall job approval rating so far has averaged 49 percent. Only three former presidents have had a worse average rating at this stage: Carter, Ford, and Harry S. Truman. Only Truman won re-election in an anti-Congress campaign that Obama's team is using as a model." On the other hand, neither Ford nor Carter has such erudite opponents as Herman "I did not sleep with those 999 women" Cain.
Here are the job approval numbers for other presidents at this stage of their terms, a year before the re-election campaign:
- Harry S. Truman: 54 percent.
- Dwight Eisenhower: 78 percent.
- Lyndon B. Johnson: 44 percent.
- Richard M. Nixon: 50 percent.
- Ronald Reagan: 54 percent.
- George H.W. Bush: 52 percent.
- Bill Clinton: 51 percent.
- George W. Bush: 55 percent.
That's right. Not one, but both Bushes...

Do you think the global elites would have just taken a holiday from their plans to shift global production to Asia and pump credit up the American ass in lieu of work if Carter won in 1980 or Walter Mondale won in 1984?
The elites decided the course, who was president was totally inconsequential.
Granted, Reagan made plenty of mistakes, George HW Bush and Alan Greenspan to name but a couple. But as far as the big picture the Rothschilds are in charge, not the president.
This is of course a valid point, and while I understand this now, my hatred of Ronald Reagan is quite beyond the reach of logic and time has only moderated it slightly.
Carter was an unpopular one-term prez who went on to (arguably of course) distinguish himself in humanitarian efforts. I sincerely hope that we give Obama the same opportunity to excel in another field. He is obviously not where he should be. Let's all give the guy the break he so richly deserves.
For example, he might find his niche giving medical care to prostitutes who are AIDS victims in Kenya.
I'd really like to see Obama and Larry Franklin on Dr. Phil. I don't know what went wrong with that relationship which would cause Larry to file a lawsuit disclosing embarassing aspects of their relationship. We all say embarassing things we later regret while under the influence of cocaine during the heat of a passionate gay sex . (excluding me, as i am straight and a non-user) Dr. Phil can help them come together and resolve their differences. They both need to bury the hatchet, get rid of the emotional pain and straight jacket of carrying anger, resentment and bitter regret. Dr. Phil can help heal them -bring them peace - not only to themselves, but to thousands of scorned and bitter homosexuals having to endure similar emotional baggage. Maybe we can bring in Rahm. (Emmanuel) Was he part of a busted triangle of love? That is one of the ways that I see Obama contributing to American society and making amends for all the harm he has done.
Truman dipped to 22%, Kennedy to 40%, Johnson to 40%, Nixon to 25%, Ford to 30%, Carter to 40%, Old Bush to 35%, Baby Bush to 30% so this story simply doesn´t make sense yet.

Carter got a bum deal imo. I was in the service during his presidency and he got us decent raises especially compared to that tight assed Reagan.

Why was Dwight Eisenhower so popular?

(4) Dwight Eisenhower kept military spending under tight control-- he knew how the MIC operated, and warned us about their increasing power. Even so, he kept the Soviets on notice that the U.S. would not tolerate aggressive moves, while still opening channels of communication with Khruschev.
(5) Dwight Eisenhower wasn't perfect (he was a philandering golf addict, and wasn't above using deception in his public statements), but he represented a model of quality leadership that is totally lacking in the U.S. today. He gave war-weary Americans a sense of confidence about the future that we sorely lack today. That's why he was so popular.

The headline misleads in that in fails to add the qualification "at this point in their term of office." If I recall, Bush2 fell to some pretty low numbers at the end of his second term. Regardless of your politics, I would hope we could count on the Tyler(s) for some journalistic integrity.
Headlines must balance informative content with brevity. One can not simply post the entire article in boldface as a headline above a recitation of the entire article in regular type.
The headline draws the reader in but the reader must actually read the article in order to glean specific information from it.

There´s nothing especially unusual about Obammy´s approval rating. Presidents almost always start out high and then drop. Even Baby Bush had 60% out of the starting gate. There is one anomaly though and this is Clinton which started out under 50% and actually gained during his presidency.

There is a big difference between saying "Obama is the worst president if measured by his approval rating on a Tuesday afternoon at the end of November of his third year as a president" and "Is Now The Worst American President".
Factually, according to the chart you've linked to, Obama is a 3-rd best president of 12 presidents listed, if measured by the lowest point they reached in their approval ratings. In fact, he appears to be better than 8 consecutive presidents that preceded him. What a shame that mentioning facts will go against the fun of feeling good about pointing out someone's shortcomings, even if they are imaginary.

an "oppositional" party that can't muster support for an
acceptable candidate that the people will support. that is,

Unfortunately, that IS the objective of the NWO masters: to so discredit the existing system of national governments that the masses will cry out for a one-size-fits-all alternative ... and that alternative -- a world government --would then be presented to them as a prepared package, together with all the accompanying wondrous promises. As I said at that time, the worst thing NATO/USSA Washington and MSM can do right now is to ignore or downplay the warning from Moscow, because then Moscow will do something that can not be ignored or downplayed which will get everyone's undivided attention and awareness.
It remains to be seen what Moscow will do to shatter the prevailing one-eyed hypocrisy and hubris of the North Atlantic Treaty Organisation, but I expect it will be bold, aggressive, and not easily forgotten in Washington, Europe, Turkey or Israel.

At a time when Americans are evenly polarized and both parties have succeeded in making their supporters believe that the other party is absolutely evil, it is a mathematical certainty that a middle of the road politician such as Obama will have a high disapproval rating. This is because as many liberals are disappointed as conservatives are hyperventilating.
