$15,OOO,OOO,OOO,OOOBAMA! - It's Official: Total US Debt Passes $15 Trillion

Tyler Durden's picture

Too sad for commentary, but here is some math: total US debt has increased by 41.5%, or $4.4 trillion, from $10,626,877,048,913 on January 20, to $15,033,607,255,920, under Obama as president.

(as a reminder the most recently updated debt ceiling is $15.194 trillion)

that's the question:  you must divide into the people that REALLY GENERATE THE DEBT, SO BASICALLY MILLONAIRES AND VERY RICH PEOPLE, 1% OF POPULATION:

15,000,000,000,000/3,100,000= 4,838,700... per millionaire US citizen, SO NOT A BIG DEAL REALLY....

THE PROBLEM IS THAT POLITICIENS THINK (WELL, NOT REALLY THINK, JUST IMAGINE) EACH US CITIZEN MUST PAY 48,387 USD, EVEN THE POOREST, IS FOR THAT THEY ARE COMPLETELY WRONG AND WHY ECONOMY IS BAD. JUST A MATTER OF PERCENTAGE OF THE POPULATION...

Could be... in 200 years... but you think 1% are SOOOOOO PRODUCTIVE, that other 99% must work for them for penny salaries?  dont laugh please!

if you dont have a car, not a house, not medical care... your debt is ZERO !!

More you are RICH, more you NEED to USE DEBT Financial, and more you need to stole to others...

As most of us know here, IRS could take 100% of EVERY PAYCHECK OF EVERY AMERICAN and this liability (an asset if you can get Goldman to cook your books ala Greece, Spain, Portgual, etc. etc) wouldn't be covered - let alone the unfunded liabilities and off-budget amounts not considered in this number.

The Republican candidate for POTUS (aside from Ron Paul), current POTUS, and Super Duper Fantastic Committe are, as Ron says,  tinkering on the edges of cutting projected baseline increases over periods of time that will never come.

For all Ron Paul haters out there, you may want to look up Minksy Moment.  Hell, I will look it up for you -

A Minsky moment is when over-indebted investors are forced to sell good assets to pay back their loans, causing sharp declines in financial markets and jumps in demand for cash.[1][2] In any credit cycle or business cycle it is the point when investors begin having cash flow problems due to the spiraling debt incurred in financing speculative investments. At this point, a major sell off begins because no counterparty can be found to bid at the high asking prices previously quoted, leading to a sudden and precipitous collapse in market clearing asset prices and a sharp drop in market liquidity.[1]

Sounds likes the Euro and DOHllar and any suckers who trades in these currencies.  Hope those pennies are shiny in front of the steam roller.  Now, who wants to buy some non-performing Fannie Mae/Freddie Mac gift wrapped collaterlized baby poo from JP Morgan?  Treasuries, get your treasuries here.

Dont forget. Romney will get the republican nomination for 1 reason. He has been saving his nut for this moment all of his life. After he gets the nom, he must release 30 years of tax statements. Nobody is going to vote for a conservative billionaire that has been paying an effective 12% tax rate. Most single moms pay more than that in true federal income taxes (not including the payroll-ponzi taxes)

This is all a part of the plan. The establishment runs both parties. They have decided that there will never be a one term president again of either party. Warren Buffet does not play dice. He was the largest shareholder of Coca Cola when he under wrote the pepsiCo billion dollar giveaway. They literally had chimpanzee roll the dice. which of course did not pay out, so uncle warren pocketed the premium risk free. (and probably tax free)

To be more clear. 2012 election. Romney=Pepsi. Obama=Coca Cola.

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Pepsi_Billion_Dollar_Sweepstakes

Ron Paul or 4 more years of Obama. Which is to say 4 more years of TPTB that have done so well for us recently... they will keep this game going as long as it takes.

Alexander Hamiton. The seed tentacle was implanted long ago.

Hamilton was a nationalist who emphasized strong central government and successfully argued that the implied powers of the Constitution could be used to fund the national debt, assume state debts, and create the government-owned Bank of the United States. These programs were funded primarily by a tariff on imports and a highly controversial excise tax on whiskey

Although there are at least 4 things in that short paragraph that should piss you off about the original Bilderburg/Rothschild plant, the one that gets me the most is: A tax on whiskey, a truly treasonous act if their ever was one.

Not counting all of the other unfunded liabilities either.

The only way to get this under control will through PAINFUL CUTS in government spending.  The ONLY way.  We have had promises, many times before, of "we'll raise taxes and cut spending" only to see the taxes go up and no cuts in spending.  There never seems to be ANY political will to cut spending, not even from the "R" team.

Has .gov EVER cut spending year vs. year in modern history?  I don't think so, but please correct me if I am wrong.

A giant Pretend Account, managed by politicians with no skin in the game and much personal favor to gain, year after year after year.  Without significant ramifications for excess debt, this is what you fucking get.  There is no out of bounds.  What we know as 'value' could get crushed cause they refuse to fix the big fucking hole in the boat....where the water is rushing in....print up money and make it go away with Accounting Magic.

Now that it's physically impossible for the U.S. to pay back its debtholders EVEN IF IT WANTED TO it's time for a inexplicable, completely out of the blue USD/treasury ballbusting rally for the rest of the month.  In the words of Samuel L. "Yes they deserve to die, and I hope they burn in hell!"

The Federal Reserve can pay our National Debt with two mouse clicks.

The issue isn't paying it back, it's the value of what we're paying with that will be the ball buster.

I don't see them monetizing unless they're completely sure their usefulness as a bankster policy tool is totally exhausted, in which case there will probably be hyperinflation, martial law and suitcases full of blue monopoly money on every doorstep within a week of oil shipments being halted. And all I can say to that is, if it does happen then I'll go into the woods and live as a mountain man on bottles of my own distilled piss and cougar blood vodka because there's no fucking way I'm going to live in a world where I have FOMC meeting notes broadcast into my dreams every month for the rest of my life.

Actually, this is a good point to bring up. Will the Fed ever actually have to announce a devaluation to discharge their debt or will everyone in America just wake up in tent cities one day and wonder how the hell they lost everything they owned. I'm guessing on the later.

Lot's of new posters. It seems that people are getting hip to the fact that there are very few places on the planet to get real news, and, we seem to have a few party apparatchiks coming here to blame the Republicans or the Democrats for what anyone with a brain knows, is clearly, not being caused by one or the other 'party', but by the one party fascist system of this Banana Republic.
