July's Winners And Losers
Anyone who paired a corn/wheat long in July while shorting the "natural" hedges Spain and China (a painfully obvious trade in retrospect, maybe) can now take the rest of the year off. Everyone else will have to continue trying to frontrun Ben Bernanke for a few more months.

Wheat, bitchez.
QE3 on top of wheat and corn inflation? Prepare for mass protests of the starved.
That protest may lack some energy.
The cops will probably make up for that lack of energy.
EDIT: Prosperity, bitchez!
You'll need wheat to mill, to make the flour, that forms the donuts. Cops can't run if they have no fuel.
I guess they'll just have to shoot instead.
maybe they can drink the ethanol out of my SUV's fuel tank.....
There'll be no QE3 today.
This is what collapse looks like; however, until the Cayman Island accounts holding 27 trillion are wiped out, no one on Main Street gives a crap.
markets celebrate no qe today. metals hammered.
I need my niblets. Spain? Let them eat.....wheat! China can get cornholed!
...all I know is that these wanking bankers have turned by FX trading results into shite.
I cannot read the minds of delusional dickheads.
"Societe Generale 2nd quarter earns slump"
"Deutsche Bank to cut 1,900 jobs as profits drop"
Even better than the corn wheat long was a vol weighted long Aussie short Euro...now you can take the rest of the year off...
keep spraying the skies and we will continue the drought/flood weather volatility. Now inflation is not the only way to secretly steal wealth, by creating volatility in weather, we can commoditize it and create a whole new demand and market place.
