Ron Paul understands we need to reduce our military presence across the globe for this very reason. Your family and mine are at risk because every other pol from Obuma on down likes his power and guns.
Hey now, are you talking about dismantling the military industrial complex, the strong arm of the banking cartel? We make those weapons and sell them abroad to all sides in a fight for several reasons. We want fights. We want people's shit to get blown up so they buy new stuff. We want never ending sales of murderous contraptions. We want to indebt those roiled in fear or anger so their assets can be looted from them legally, victorious or not. I wonder, if after western hegemony collapses, if the new powers to rise in it's place will take steps that aid in the survival of our species, rather than the constant destruction of it and everything around us.
The sad part is that the right wing has NO ONE that can beat Obama. That says a ton about the repubican party. They should be so proud.
Obama's negatives are extremely high and even with a confusing and negative Republican search for the nomination, the polls still show Romney and Paul both beating Obama. And many of the polls are so unscientific it's laughable; one recent poll of more than 800 adults (not even qualified as likely voters) came in favorably for Obama against a Republican. But, in the sample, only 27% were Republicans!
