I find the term "ass-clown" completely acceptable and perfectly descriptive of the recipient but will find it a disappointment if it becomes passe` for people to denigrate others, by cementing arguments using denigrations based on skin tone. i went short 20 on the /es at lock up yesterday, 1284 i don't know whether to get out now at 1196.25 expecting a bounce, or let it ride.
i don't think we're through yet. i belive i'll stay, the first significant chart support i see is 1174 and if that breaks 1037 is in play.
this is the biggist 1 day gain on /es i have ever had, including 2008.
I'm no pro and don't have that kind of cash to play with anyhow, (so for what it's worth) I'd take half off. Lock in some nice profits and let the rest ride. Otherwise, you could get burned with volatility at these levels.

Hey, I know it's Fight Club and all, but WTF is up with hating RT? While I know it's true that we all have a lot of things pushing us into shorter and shorter attention spans, I really never saw where the guy's calls were all that bad- just risker than I would prefer. All of us- including, from what I could tell, RT, knew this was coming- it was just a question of when.
Whether you like it or not, he was stumping for a bull market in the short term, and he wasn't wrong. I didn't jump on it because, like most here, I was following the macro trends. It's the difference between the day-trader mentality and the long mentality. RT could have, and may have, made a killing if he followed his own advice (something I have no way of knowing) and he was changing his tune a couple of days ago. If he changed his positions, great- if not, why take so much joy in beating a guy when he's down?
Personally, I always enjoy hearing the contrary view. It's way too easy to get caught up in your own viewpoint and miss twenty good opportunities while you're hunkered down and waiting for the big one. Contrarian viewpoints help limit that lost opportunity. Shit, if I'd had bought NFLX in 2008, I'd be laughing all the way to the coin shop today, right before trading all that ill-gotten gain in for gold.
Anyhow, if you got skinned RT, I'm not going to rub salt in the wound. I never like to see others fail- I'm of the ultra-rare bearish, but still willing to help "grow the pie" folks.

You should check out this little gem of a movie. "They Live" is a somewhat obscure John Carpenter film. It's one of the best dystopian movies out there. Certainly in the top 50.
