Obama Addresses America's Illegal Aliens, Bypasses Congress

Tyler Durden's picture

Obama is about to address (as of 1:15 pm Eastern, so the sandtrap was obviously a monster) America's illegal immigrants, and critical Hispanic vote, advising them he has successfully avoided this pest known as Congress, and that henceforth not all of them will be deported. The immigrants that is, not Congress... although that too may change. Because remember: the only thing better than record part-time jobs is recorder part-time jobs. Also remember: one can't affix a price to securing the vote... of those who are ineligible to vote.

He should give 'em each $3,000.00 just to be sure.

Anyone remember when the President would take real questions from real journalists?

Question, Mr. President, where exactly is this $3,000.00 for every middle class American going to come from?  We'll have to borrow that from our children and grandchildren, right?

This happened?

Why $3k? That's been done before. He should give $300k to them. Let them know he wants them to "have a chance". That would really set him apart from the rest. He is different, you know.

Or maybe just give another $15T to bullshit/banks. Either way is fine with me.

No. The US citizen dream is mostly for the US citizen middle class.

US citizenism has barely changed the relationship between haves and have nots. Despite claiming the opposite.

Rich and poor have kept a similar business but in an abundant world.

The big change in standards of life has been given to US citizen middle class. As expected since US citizenism thrones middle class as the king class.

It describes beautifully what exactly goes on with empires.

Like the british empire, in america the select few see the bounty.... the middle and lower lot get nothing but the grumps from cocks like you as they are tarred with the same brush.

The american dream is under the cosh from greedy PTB not 'US citizen middle class'

i'm sick of assorted 3rd worlders (no offense) accusing me of being imperialist when i dont give a shit.

my ancestors who went off to shoot people and build empire only did it to travel.

84 percent of government employee making more than $100,000 per year in retirement have higher incomes than they did when they were working.

Nearing retirement, Marty Robinson, Ventura County's former chief executive cashed out nearly $34,000 in unused vacation pay, an $11,000 bonus for getting a graduate degree and more than $24,000 in extra pension benefits the county owed her. When she retired at age 62, her pension was calculated at $272,000 annual, though her annual base salary was $228,000 a year, The Times reported.

To be honest your dear and beloved Abe Lincoln destroyed the constitution.  I'm no southerner or bigot, just a student of history.  In a desperate act to maintain control of the economic solidarity of the new colonies the then president made all efforts to control trade.  How different is today's market?  Is civil war eminent?  Could there be tension between classes?  Could that tension be relieved by the eradication of the middle class?  Hmmmm.  Those that sustain the system are the bain....  Quite a conundrum.

How do we continue? Are your representatives representing you?  Do they have a golden parachute and you get nothing, but you paid for their parachute?

I believe there is a Supreme Court ruling declaring that a federal agency cannot use the fact that they have discretion in enforcing the law as a reason to refuse to enforce the laws.

Imagine if other federal agencies, oh i dunno like the SEC for example,, decided that they could use their discretion to refuse to enforce the laws. Why, there would be pandemonium!

THE FLAG CODE
Title 36, U.S.C., Chapter 10
As amended by P.L. 344, 94th Congress
Approved July 7, 1976

§ 176. Respect for flag: No disrespect should be shown to the flag of the United States of America; the flag should not be dipped to any person or thing. Regimental colors, State flags, and organization or institutional flags are to be dipped as a mark of honor.

(a) The flag should never be displayed with the union down, except as a signal of dire distress in instances of extreme danger to life or property.

Most individuals who have served in the military service of our nation will (or should) recognize this signal.

Uh ok, so we should wait to claim distress when? When there is a drone flying around my house spying on me? When the government is listening in on all my phone calls? When the government is reading all my emails? When the government can arrest me and hold me for how ever long it feels it needs to? Or should I wait until a swatt team kicks in my front door, "hold on a minute fellas I need to adjust my flag...".

The real question is, at what point do normal citizens finally say enough is enough, and start making their voices heard.  I agree to some extent with what you are saying, things are still not that bad, if you compare the US with say North Korea, or Egypt, or some other third world dictatorship. But does that mean we sit idle until it gets that bad? I think it is a better idea to start drawing attention to these issues now, so that hopefully enough people become aware so that something is done.

I'm not doing it for fun.  It's the true expression of what I feel and it symbolizes all the measures I am taking in my life to protect myself and my loved ones from what I perceive as criminal and unintended consequential behavior by the state.  It's done with all due respect to what the flag stands for (for me). It is a public expression of a personal distress that I feel, and one that is (as of yet) not considered a terrorist act.  If you think this fraud is not costing lives and property, then go back to your NBA Finals and pester someone at the bar about Lebron vs Kobe or something.

I fly the flag the way I do because for the first time in my life, I understand that our nation is under such distress.  What is it, Mr Butt O' McFarty - if that is your real name - that you understand?

Question for you:  Did those people that you refer to, love and die for a piece of cloth that is colored red, white and blue, or did they love and die for the idea's that the red, white, and blue cloth represents?

Think about it, because if it was the ideas they fought, loved, and died for, they would and will understand why it is being flown upside down.

Wow really newbie, been here a lot longer then you (just click on my icon). And by your own addmission the people you speak of would not give a shit if the flag was flying upside down, sideways, or at all. I was refering to the people that would take personal offense to something regarding the treatment of the flag. They are the ones that understand what it is supposed to represent. Regardless of what tptb have twisted the law and constitution into....

I wish I had greenbacks to burn, but I agree with you there.

Fact is, I am flying the flag correctly, according to what I understand of respect to the flag.

I understand the flag is a powerful symbol.  I didn't serve in the military, but I worked as a police officer for ten years, held a TS security clearance and left the job because of what I see.   It bothers me that the Boy Scouts put this flag on everyone's lawn (we don't even pay for the service).  It is 100% participation without consulting or meaning, which should smack a little N. Korean to you.  It is patriotism for patriotism's sake.  It is the dangerous empty allegience that leads the unexercised mind to complacency with fascism.

Also, the Boy Scouts left all the flags overnight without illumination, which I personally found disrespectful and a violation of proper conduct with the flag.

I understand your anger and frustration at the Imbecile in Chief, and agree that he, like the majority of his predecessors before him are failing 'We The People' in a massive and totalitarian way.

But your ignorance offends me to the nth degree.  Although it will matter little to you, here's a bit of personal history for you to think about before you blanket blast every migrant away:

My mother's parents are both originally born and raised in Mexico. Granddad crossed the Rio illegally back in '48 and worked as a migrant for 5 years. When he realized what the country could mean for himself and his family, he went back across, applied for a Visa, came over, brought my pregnant Grandmother who had my mother (the youngest of all their children and the only US born child they had), then he sent her back until she could qualify for a visa herself, all the time working the fields and sending it back so the family could survive. Once she got her Visa, they came across, with 11 children, and worked the fields from Florida to California, year in, year out. My mother had the highest education of them all; making it to the 7th Grade.

Now, they all worked, they paid taxes, eventually the became naturalized citizens in the late '70's, and all us grandkids; we graduated High School; some of us went to college, most of us own our homes, and yes, there are a few bad apples mixed into the bunch, but I have to say, on an average scale of latino criminal per family and white criminal per family, we have a lower rate of infractions.  And we all work.

So should we all be deported because of the first time Granddad crossed?

Now one step further, my father is 100% Apache Indian, born in Arizona. Does that trump you and your lineage? You see, my mother is a legal citizen by birth, my father is a legal citizen by any definition of land right, birth and history. And it kind of pisses me off that you like to lump only one side of the equation as 'bad'.

As a further note, my 'White' sister (we have the same father, different mothers) is dating a Hispanic, who by unfortunate circumstances was born in Mexico, WHILE HIS SIBLINGS WERE ALL BORN IN THE US, and the government looks at him as an illegal. He's applied for citizenship, his mother is a naturalized citizen and his family all has good money to prove he won't be a burden on society. He's been deported twice, although he owns a home here and a business, pays taxes, paid for his vehicle's and home through hard work (and I mean some pretty labor intensive stuff) and yet the government regularly denies his application for either a VISA or a work permit. He has no criminal record (other than deportation) and is smarter than most people I know. Oh, and no kids or bastards running around that he doesn't pay for.  So is he a 'parasite'?

And the reason he comes back is simple: It's unfair that he doesn't want to live in a drug ridden country, in poverty, while his siblings are all 'Legal'. The government doesnt care about his home, vehicle, business, because he pays taxes, but only that he was born before his mother was naturalized and got picked up and deported on a sting when he was only 17 and working part time at a job while going to high school.

So yeah, you offend me, and totally piss me off. I think immigration should be changed, and it requires some sensible thought put into it. But that will never happen under this current government, and never when people like you don't actually THINK and determine what would work best for OUR country.

nationstates are fictions held in the minds of those "true believers" - this one is way past the sell by date, and stinks to high heaven - that people are still acting all loyal to a story they've been fed since birth is silly and boring, embarrassing even, to be reading here, where people should really know better.

It took you 1000 words to justify breaking the law? I am all for immigration, refugee lawbreakers not so much. While your bleeding your heart for the illegals, spend a second and think about all of the hard working tradesmen who have lost their jobs to the parasitic lawbreakers. They don't just pick lettuce, they have taken over carpentry in many cities.  The cost in social services has litterally bankrupted communities, and probably California.

Look, you want to talk about breaking the law, how about you go after the fuckers that you elected who have been doing it since the country was created and continue to build legacies that make you rich at the backs of the very people you are bitching about.

Fuck if immigration is such an issue, why the fuck are we letting in ANY countries aliens? There's thousands of 'political' aliens who get better benefits that the ones your crying about for the perceived mexicans, or better than you get from your job which is taxing you out the ass to pay for both types of immigrant. And I never said I had a bleeding heart or was mouthing any Rick Perry crap. Myself, my family, all of us believe that something must be done. But it's the assholes who keep voting in the bigger assholes who worry more about spending $3 billion to pay to build a wall around some little country because of some 'special' relationship, then to build a wall along our southern border. And believe me, we see the issues and we understand the problem, and would like to see a reduction in illegals who are bringing in the drugs, the crime, and the 'anchor baby' welfare issues. But until the ignorant fucks like yourself look past our skin color and look at what we're saying, it's like talking to sheeple about why the economy is fucked up.

Looked at a ME military installation map recently? We spend more money surrounding Iran than we do stopping our own border issues. But hey, you got to have your manicured lawns, and your ROI from the very companies who are HIRING the fucking illegals to build your homes, or reducing the costs of the items you buy, yet you have the gall to sit and ignore everything I say so you can feel justified by a couple of standard: Your a bleeding heart liberal : lines to make you feel good.

You still didn't explain how I or MY family broke the law. Yes, Granddad did, but you know what, he went back, and he did it LEGALLY, so where's the law breaking there? The other guy, yeah, he's breaking the law, and we've talked to him about it. Maybe his family should just pay to put him up somewhere down there, pay for private security, and pay out the ass to some lawyer to get his case approved, after 5 years and a few hundred thousand of bribes, etc. But then you'd bitch because the money made here is heading south.

What pisses me off is half of you couldn't prove your 'upright honest lineage' if you had to, or your life depended on it (those who down vote anyway), but you have no problems down voting mine, which is still a whole hell of a lot more upright and honest than the idiots who surround me. Why don't you kick your kids out to swing the hammer for the same wage as the ones your griping about, or have them work a field or 3 every day for a few months, so you can actually stand on two feet and act like some sort of 'chosen' citizen. My kid works 2 jobs and so do I, and we do it to prepare for what is coming. Most people here who talk about 'stocking up' don't know the first thing about growing, canning, or planning for a crop, and they think that 6 months food in the event the SHTF is gonna be enough. Who are they going to turn to for the knowledge?

Yeah, immigration is an issue, but until you and I get rid of the fuckers who brought all the 'allowances' to our doorstep, we just playing the game the way they want. At each others throat and not focused on the fact that we are all prisoners in this great big country, beholding to the whims of our masters.

Know something funny? I'm proud of my history only because of the positive things I've accomplished, and the good things the individuals in my family have done. Not because of NationState heritage. I agree, like fiat, the concept has passed, especially in this land where we point out the flaws in other States while choking the life out of our own.

and I practice discernment in all my interactions - bottom lines are never based on "appearances" and always come from getting to know the individual, irrespective of "heritage."

aligning oneself with a "national" storyline, particularly a sketchy one that invades & occupies on behalf of corporations - how is that something to hold up as proud to others?  doesn't make sense to me.

I like your stance of being proud of your own efforts, and the efforts undertaken by your family - that's real, tangible, hard won pride - not "pledged allegiance" to, and memorised in school.

I sense desperation...if you recall, democrats were saying up until election day that the recall race in WIsconsin was a dead heat.  But money from the Democratic Party HQ and the unions stopped flowing to the effort about two weeks before the election.  Obama flew over Wisconsin on his way to Minnesota but failed to make a stop.  What does this tell us?  It tells us that internal polling told them the truth at least two weeks before the election.  It told us that Obama knew in advance of what would be considered an embarrassment and did not want to be connected to it.  I would suggest that Obama's recent acts, coming out of the blue with no forewarning, are the hopeful reaches of a desperate campaign trying to gain some traction.  Unfortunately for him, I believe this latest act will have the same results as the other recent things he has done...it will backfire on him.  I believe he will alienate far more voters than he will attract.  But, I guess when you're desperate and have run out of meaningful targets, you start shooting at anything hoping it will have a positive impact.  This guy can't be voted out of office to soon in IMHO.

As a side note: when I think of the organizational disaster his mangement team has created, a single word comes to my mind (and it makes me smile)...Clusterfuck!
