Obama Wants His Drone Back
Several days after being humiliated by Iran which either shot down a EQ-170 drone, or worse, hacked into its navigation system and landed it, Obama has decided to double down, and stick the other foot in his mouth. As ABC reports in connection with Obama's handling of this embarrassing predicament, ""We've asked for it back. We'll see how the Iranians respond," Obama said at a news conference. Obama said he wouldn't comment further "on intelligence matters that are classified." Great, the only problem is Iran will never return it, as they have already indicated, for the simple reason that it has already been reverse engineered 5 ways from Sunday somewhere deep in the bowels of one of China's unpopulated cities, which just doubles as a very populated military intelligence base. The only good news is that within 6-9 months every American will be able to buy a personal stealth drone for a new low, low price at their friendly neighborhood Wal-Mart. Our only concern is whether FoxConn will be able to handle the supply of both iPads and straight for re-export drones: it would be ironic if this massive military embarrassment ends up as being a catalyst to short Apple.
A senior Iranian military commander, however, said on Iranian television Sunday that not only would Iran not turn over the drone, but warned of a "bigger response" to the "hostile act" of crossing into Iranian airspace.
"No one returns the symbol of aggression to the party that sought secret and vital intelligence related to the national security of a country," Iranian Islamic Revolution Guards Corps [IRGC] Lt. Commander Gen. Hossein Salami said, according to Iran's Fars News Agency.
U.S. Secretary of State Hillary Clinton said told reporters today that "given Iran's behavior to date, we do not expect them to comply" with Obama's request. Defense Secretary Leon Panetta also said he didn't expect Iran to hand over the drone, but told reporters, "I think it's important to make that request."
Several Iranian state-run media reports claim the country plans to "reverse engineer" the RQ-170 Sentinel and "will replicate the captured U.S.-built stealth aircraft in the future." In another report featured on Iranian television, an Iranian lawmaker claimed the country's experts were almost finished extracting data from the drone and would be using some of it to file a lawsuit against the U.S. for its "invasion," according to a report by The Associated Press.
"Military experts are well aware how precious the technological information of this drone is," IRGC Aerospace Forces Brig. Gen. Amir Ali Hajizadeh said last week according to local reports. "It can play a key role in Iran's intelligence interactions with the U.S. rivals."
On the reason of the "interception"
According to U.S. officials, the drone was on a classified surveillance
mission for the CIA in western Afghanistan when operators lost control due to a malfunction. From there, the drone glided into Iranian airspace before crashing.
The Iranian military initially claimed it had "shot down" the drone, but later said it was able to bring it down with relatively little damage through an electronic attack. Pentagon spokesperson Capt. John Kirby told reporters last week there was no indication the drone was brought down by "hostile activity of any kind."
As for the top secret drone itself...
The Sentinel, an unarmed long-range surveillance drone known as The Beast of Kandahar, was such a closely held secret that the U.S. Air Force did not even acknowledge its existence until late 2009.
Panetta said it was unclear what technological value the drone could still have, depending on its condition.
Here's a guess: the non-technological value may be low but the barter value is enough to where Iran will leverage it to get anything and everything from the Chinese, to whom the technological value will be quite enough.
And as a reminder, here is the Iranian video of the captured drone:

You are correct. Stuxnet isn't the all-powerful virus people think it is, but a fairly targetted, mistake-ridden one that got out of control.
Writing multiplatform viruses is almost an impossibility. The only one I can think of targetted a obscure security hole and it required the same code to execute in two different languages, the author was described as not being human by many top-tier security researchers.
Is Obama smart enough to deploy the Trojan Drone? Maybe the Trojan Rabbit!! Next comes the Holy Hand Grenade of Antioch. Can Obama count to 3?
Because the drone has to have a remote tether, it would be trivial to blow up the electronics five minutes after loosing a tether to the main network. To not have common sense precautions like this in the hardware is a joke.
This this is 100% in Iranian hands because they wanted it in Iranian hands. Trojan? Maybe. False flag? Maybe.
But I can't buy the fact they they acidentially lost it AND its still intack (internals and all).
Not buying it.

Too many are over estimating our abilities and under estimating foreign countries, and their abilities. Admission is a weakness.
http://www.wired.com/dangerroom/2011/11/counterfeit-missile-defense/
Only if you believe in each hypothesis, instead of merely acknowledging them.
Maybe the contraption ran out of fuel? Could some nimrod with a hangover have forgetten to top off the tank? I doubt rocket scientists are in charge of filling fuel tanks.
Hey, this is all part of 'change we can believe in' and is transitory...
If WallyWorld starts selling these things for $29.95 the economy might improve. Who wouldn't rather have a drone than a toaster oven?
Think like this:
All this system needs to work a stand by battery and very simple control systems. You could even be paranoid and make the battery for the trigger mechanical. There is no excuse to leave it intact if control is lost. There are a million ways to engineer that solution, many of them incredibly simple.
So, my conclusion: false flag.
I mean, amazing we can this shit in Afghanistan for TEN years, but then, suddenly right when we need a good reason to pick a fight ... low and behold ...
Regards,
Cooter
Yes, shooting down drones would become so much easier - just use jammer to break the connection, then watch it blow up. Besides, if Iran or China indeed hijacked drone controls, then drone itself would never recognize that it had lost tether, just would pick up a new one. Makes the whole thing pretty much pointless. Point is, UAV are at this point in time very vulnerable to electronic warfare, maybe with AI they can become more autonomous and less vulnerable to that type of attack, but then it's a whole different story. At least there is no pilot to bargain for:
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Francis_Gary_Powers
There was a Movie that featured AI driven drones. They eventually wiped out human civilization and sent a drone back to find John Connor.
Thank you, that's I meant when said 'but then it's a whole different story' :) Anyway, point is, drones are very vulnerable in a war with more or less sophisticated foe as the link between drone and command center can be compromised fairly easily. What they are best fit for, is the suppression of low-tech insurgents who possess neither modern AA, nor means to wage electronic warfare. Upside of course is you don't lose a pilot if thing goes down, the downside, you don't really know who else might be able to control it.
Maybe the contraption ran out of fuel? Could some nimrod with a hangover have forgetten to top off the tank? I doubt rocket scientists are in charge of filling fuel tanks
Maybe it runs on a rubber band driven propeller & someone forgot to wind tightly...
It's a good thing, some of them are absent-minded.
Spot on. While the drone is on the ground, the surveillance continues in a much more interesting environment and through close contact with the pick of Iran's top military engineers...
This should be Petraeus' hand.
Wrong. Obama wants to take out the opposition in the US...
Remember S.1867 that strips all American citizens of due process?
Well guess what, the section that precluded that law to apply to American citizen was stripped from the bill at the request of OBAMA.

Re: Defense Secretary Leon Panetta also said he didn't expect Iran to hand over the drone, but told reporters, "I think it's important to make that request.
Panetta is a ducking fumbass.
How far was Obama's dick up his ass while he was speaking
He had both inches up Panetta.
you couldnt make this shit up..........while us drones have killed thousands of innocent people, heres obummer asking for the drone back.....hahah!!!!!!!!!!!!!
the US truly does think they can make the rules and not play by them......
....or change the rules when their Banker Handlers are losing money. The world is run by bankers. Their the true enemy in all this geopolitical bullshit.
Heh heh, General Salami.
False Flag. Probably a "Faker Drone." No stealth and full of marbles. Some Lt. was told to land it in Iran in one piece.
Then Obama saunters along and says "Return it or we bomb your nuclear facilities." This approach is so much more expedient than claiming WMDs.
Besides, WMDs are so hard to find when there are none.
Bah: If there are no WMD's to be found, "we" should sell "them" some - or rather, the Germans should. If they can still pay for the chemicals, that is.
Just like the U2 over the USSR?
At first I was thinking, OMG now what. Then I thought about it some more. What if it was a trojan horse, filled with RFID's (like they tag whales with) so they can track the drone from space? That way the US could see where the "really smart" people are, and where the research and development was taking place. There is no way on god's green earth that this "what if" scenario could not have been contemplated.
No, there is no such place. Remember Capt Kirks saying? Beam me Scotty, there are no intelligent life forms...
Just like that old Outer Limits!
I thought the very same thing.
That's precisely what happened... & it's been determined that the secret reasearch & development departments are being housed in separate bunker locations...

Why?
Why say it?
Why even bring it up again?
It's not like adding anything to the whole affair, is it?.
It was after all, kind of an unspoken desire.
I mean, nobody got up and said, "Awww, just keep it, we got more. You'll enjoy it. Merry Jihad."
Maybe even getting it back with wax job and a full tank of fuel?
And some chrome spinner rims with purple pinstripes.
OK.
So we asked and they said no?
Maybe went through our ambassador?
At the non-embassy that Botchmann wants to close.
Oh, and probably best not to bother the Chinese with it, they've got all they need right now.
How about the super detail job?
We'll pick it up Wednesday afternoon.
Just put it on the tab.
You know where to get us.
Spreewells. We want it back with dem Spreewells on it.
...and a brodie knob and spinner, and fuzzy dice, and bongos in the back.
hahah!!!!!!!!!!!!
Hey - *I* love cheddar bay biscuits too!
And my hair's been growing... Nah....
Two options:
#1 (likely) Obama ends up looking like an idiot when the ragheads say FUGOFF...
OR
#2 He launches100 Thomahawks at various selected Iran power centers the minute he receives the NO.
Inform them that this "gesture" is backed up by several low yield nukes.
Then ask them again.
No need for a Ghost to paint the target. Its already painted.
I like option #2.
Israel disappears, oil goes to $250 and the US economy is destroyed overnight.
"#2 He launches100 Thomahawks at various selected Iran power centers the minute he receives the NO."
........................
...and probably blow up more asprin factories ala Clinton.
Stick with Occams Razor... The damn thing probably ran out of fuel or the engine quit.
Anyway, the Chinese fired a missle into space and purposely shot down one of their own defunct satellites...No easy feat. Since they are making our technology, why would they need to steal it?
#2.....lotta silver used in tomahawk production. Bullish for ag
Iran said FUGOFF before Obamma revealed the request at the press conference. When's Obamma gonna launch the cruise missles?
I swear Tyler, you are one funny son of a gun. Sometimes you make me laugh so hard I have tears in my eyes. Keep up the excellent work, and many thanks !
For real guys.... do you really think that a remote air craft fell out of the sky from 65k feet and never broke ????
or their is no self destruct mechnasim in it?
get real.... if a us drone really did fall onto the ground it would be busted into 1k pieces and if it was not they would blow it up. Is probably a bunch of pr to get the world to rally behind the us to blow the fuk out of iran so europe can have their oil , which is by the way theirs..... the iranies only own the sand on top... if they get their shit together and figure that out they will save a bunch of heartache...
Don't you think?
A little radioactivity will just make premium out of regular... soooooooo cheap a way to run our high powered cars.
The sand also belongs to the euro genocidal oligarchs.
iRanians can keep the camels.
Isn't it a glider type looking device? It is like a boomerang, except this one didn't return. Maybe it glides down like a glider or kite. Why can't Iran have electronic jammers to scramble the signals? Iran is very sophisticated. Wasn't it 10 years ago that 19 people who lived in caves were able beat NORAD with box cutters? Right.. Different way different.. And no, I didn't believe the BS 10 years ago either. I'm being sarcastic
Concur.
This is a flying wing and would necessarily be aerodynamically unstable. It did not glide anywhere. If the control systems quit, it will glide like a pair of pliers.
There doesn't appear to be a fuckin scratch on the thing...not bad for supposedly falling out of the sky.
Waaahhhh...its mine!!! Gimme!!!
ROTFLMAO!!!
Finders, keepers, Bitchez!
all your drones are belong to us...
There were reports of problems with the control software being 'hacked' some time back. Retribution on the part of Iran for Stuxnet? (perhaps with Chinese help - they're good at these things - Iran lets China have access for reverse engineering; earns bonus points from that ally and stiffs the US ....)
Of course the US will never admit it's possible.......
Paranoia will destroy ya...
Calm down mate. Hate to see you running around with your hair on fire.
Oh yeah, like we're gonna fucking go in and take it back. What an idiot! You can only talk tough if the other side doesn't know what cards you're holding.
Besides, China probably made the thing in the first place. Which means that the Iranians already have access to the technology.
Nobody knows what high cards the USA is holding. The last time we flashed our BEST cards at someone was 1945 and two cities vanished in God's light bulb.
Do you really think the US STOPPED at fusion weapons? Project Thor anyone?

Billy Pilgrim has become unstuck in time.
Touche, my friend, touche.
God's light bulb, indeed.
Nagasaki is famous in the history of Japanese Christianity. Not only was it the site of the largest Christian church in the Orient, St. Mary’s Cathedral, but it also had the largest concentration of baptized Christians in all of Japan. It was the city where the legendary Jesuit missionary, Francis Xavier, established a mission church in 1549, a Christian community which survived and prospered for several generations. However, soon after Xavier’s planting of Christianity in Japan, Portuguese and Spanish commercial interests began to be accurately perceived by the Japanese rulers as exploitive, and therefore the religion of the Europeans (Christianity) and their new Japanese converts became the target of brutal persecutions.
Within 60 years of the start of Xavier’s mission church, it was a capital crime to be a Christian. The Japanese Christians who refused to recant of their beliefs suffered ostracism, torture and even crucifixions similar to the Roman persecutions in the first three centuries of Christianity. After the reign of terror was over, it appeared to all observers that Japanese Christianity had been stamped out.
However, 250 years later, in the 1850s, after the coercive gunboat diplomacy of Commodore Perry forced open an offshore island for American trade purposes, it was discovered that there were thousands of baptized Christians in Nagasaki, living their faith in a catacomb existence, completely unknown to the government – which immediately started another purge. But because of international pressure, the persecutions were soon stopped, and Nagasaki Christianity came up from the underground. And by 1917, with no help from the government, the Japanese Christian community built the massive St. Mary’s Cathedral, in the Urakami River district of Nagasaki.
Now it turned out, in the mystery of good and evil, that St. Mary’s Cathedral was one of the landmarks that the Bock’s Car bombardier had been briefed on, and looking through his bomb site over Nagasaki that day, he identified the cathedral and ordered the drop.
At 11:02 am, Nagasaki Christianity was boiled, evaporated and carbonized in a scorching, radioactive fireball. The persecuted, vibrant, faithful, surviving center of Japanese Christianity had become ground zero.
And what the Japanese Imperial government could not do in over 200 years of persecution, American Christians did in 9 seconds. The entire worshipping community of Nagasaki was wiped out.

makes perfect sense for luciferieans to boil christians.
I do not believe this is as it appears.
Nada.
Somethin stanky.
More than likely this piece of shit demo bird was flown into the battlespace in order to test and acquire updated signatures on Iran's air defenses and newly acquired electronic warfare suite supplied by Vlad and Co.
Israel sent a Trojan horse UAV into someones hands a few years back. They eventually detonated a bomb contained therein when they were satisfied with the location where it was taken.
Oh wait. You mean like the fact that they shot down a drone. Yet it's still in tact? Yeah, that's a tad bit fishy. But don't ask the hard questions. Haha.
hahahahahaha of course they will sell/give this to the Chinese.
Looks pretty awesome though....
The Chinese probably built the thing.
lol no wonder it crashed.
I think next week we need to drive that Recreational Vehicle from the movie 'Stripes' into there...
There is probably more truth to that statement than meets the eye.
Melamine avionics.
We were lucky to get Gary Francis Powers back from the Soviets...Blablama should just shut the old pie hole and stop bringing so much attention to the fact that he was violating sovereign airspace with a military aircraft. It's embarassing to get caught with one's pants down...even worse to go around and ask everyone if they have a photo of the incident that you can have back...
Gimmee back...gimmee back my drones...Bitchez
Lynyrd Skynyrd reference on Zerohedge? Mad props.
so you still think these fuck ups are all powerful? They love to perptuate the myth that big daddy gooberment is the GREAT OZ, all seeing, all knowing. Go down to your local DMV to remind yourself of the high level of intelligence that torments us. BURP, BOO!
If 7% of the population walked into DC today they would fold like a cheap lawn chair.
If 0.1% of the population marched their happy asses into Washington on a single day, it would be a world event. If we could only get that 0.1% to pay attention and care enough to walk a few miles down the road.
Chinese Made....
Ready for Christmas...at your local Toys R Us !!!
http://www.ason.tv/images/logodominator.jpg
Has Obama tried asking North Korea to give the USS Pueblo back? That might work too.
Tyler,
Your cynicism has reached a new level! Yes, it is obvious looking at the condition of the drone that they did not shoot it down, but even worse, hacked into the system and took control of the drone. So American intelligence and technology has been hacked. And that asshat Obama asks for it back? Excuse me Iranian people who we were spying on, can we please have our spy toy back? what an ass! also, please excuse typos. Working on my iPad!
Working and iPad on the same sentence.
Now that's a fucking revelation.
Barry wants a drone? Haha! I want Barry to GTFO.
Illegal fucking nogger. Take that murdering faggot Holder with you. You CS.
failure of corrupt goverment. failure of a corrupt banking system. has filter into the military.
How many buggy-hacky parts on that thing were made in China? Malfunction, heh, I call it military intelligence at its finest.
It just gets funnier, don't it?... Meanwhile, back in HongKong, PM disposals abound... is it just me, or is does anyone else think someone has a liquidity problem they're trying to resolve prior to opening on TheContinent?
We should just sell them a dozen or so drones...
Drones For Oil
It'd be great for The Endless War
and GDP both sides of The Jerusalem..
Remember the hainan island incident.
The Chinese rammed one of our EP-3 surveillance aircraft, forced it down, and made US eat shit, with 24 crewman.
We should have told the Chinese "no more export your goods to US".
And we still support these bastards, most favored trading etc.
We deserve what we are going to get from them.
i hate it when our so-called enemy makes us look stupid by stating the obvious...
"No one returns the symbol of aggression to the party that sought secret and vital intelligence related to the national security of a country," Iranian Islamic Revolution Guards Corps [IRGC] Lt. Commander Gen. Hossein Salami said, according to Iran's Fars News Agency.
That's hard, Salami. A really cold cut. You gave us your wurst and that's no baloney.
What a hot dog....
Hey Barry,
The Palestinians would like their land back. Tell your scuzzy thieving jewbag buddies to return it asap and you get the toy airplane.
Persians be rayciss! Gemedat Drone. Dat be my drone!
...sure and the drone could be a Trojan horse software wise!!! What do we know about the dumb fucks called spies!!! Let them play their games and we focus on ours, eh?!
Is that an American flag with skulls as stars?
Ali's Whorehouse...all your goat belong to us...lol.
Actually it looks like Dick Bove's used car lot.
A Bank Junkyard...I like it ;-)
You some kinda Kuneeesian Boy?...lol.
You're killing me WB7...need more windex for the laptop screen....wasting good scotch...lol. Thanks William, a true gem...
Nice one.
By far the best quote from the last thread with the video:
"We think this is where it eats."
LOL
Hahahaha. Dick X Bove. Nice.
"Our goats love you long time..."
Not great taste considering one's illigitimate president who's helped plunge one's country further into corporate fascism and zionist servitude has to snivel for return of the toy they were inept enough to lose in the first place. I thought a man of your metal might appreciate real innovation and at least respect an entity that would make one's aforementioned puppet teleprompter mouthpiece have to be caught begging because news just travels so fast these days... Who's running the real goat brothel Banzai? I'll give you a hint, it ain't Iran.
Maybe I'm missing the joke here but more likely I think this is simply what is known as an "epic fail" on your part for a change. Eh, you can't win 'em all...
I think you missed the huge fucking udders on those things . . .
As much as I detest every facet of our own fucked up bull shit, that does erase my disdain for this guy and what he does to his own people.
I will take the opportunity to skewer him when it comes along.
Thanks Banzai, I understand. The udders are awesome as well...
"As much as I detest every facet of our own fucked up bull shit, that does erase my disdain for this guy and what he does to his own people."
No shit. If people only knew.
Just because a person is sentenced to death and held in an Iranian prison does not give permission for the guards to rape them before their execution.
Whatsa matter son...your turban wrapped too tight?
"If you loved me you'd give it back".
nuke delivery method solved...
Something isn't right any way you look at it. The Iranians don't seem too concerned about retaliation in the form of bombing of the storage location as evidenced by the photos released. They didn't try to hide where they had it at all. It seems like our governement could easily identify the building it is stored in for easy attack by a Tomahawk or some other 'smart' weapon. From the photos it looks like the drone is in a fucking school gymnasium (painted wood floor etc.). It seems like it should be relatively easy for our gov-mint to ID where it is stored at. Lets see: large brick building, steel support colums spaced ??? feet apart, windows at the top of the walls....... That should narrow down the list of buildings it is kept in and with google earth or higher res spy satellite photos that surely must exist, seems like it should be easy to figure out.
Iran has been practicing closing off Hormuz, Obama knows if he sends a missile into Iran he has crossed the Rubicon!
Looked like a school gym, IMO. We can't lob a cruise missile into Iran without a lot of countries decrying we are attacking and declaring war on Iran. Russia and China will not sit idly by if they do something stupid like that. china has said they are willing to go to WW3 just a week ago.
Ironic that we borrow money from the Chinese to build drones that are shot down on the other side of the world and then traded to China.
Control of the drone was hijacked in flight and it was flown to it's new owners, it was not "shot down".
He wants his drone back... he needs it to strike Syria.
Here is the Pentagon spokesman official statement.
http://www.businessinsider.com/us-drone-displayed-on-iranian-tv-is-a-fake-2011-12
Counter measures will ensure it fried it's self electronically.
I had a lenghtly talk about this last night with someone who knows a little something about these birds. He agrees, it's not ours, but at this point, if it is, it's a 5 million dollar paper weight. If it's not, it's 400 lbs of styrofoam with installed aluminum parts. It's not an issue about the bird anymore, were past that, it's going to turn into a political blunder or NATO policy, either way, they TPTB are going to do whatever they want anyway in the wake of this new development.
Relax, Iran has their own drones and there is nothing on board this dead bird salvageable for China to retrieve. I know it has no communication if it is ours and they know it too, it was being filmed and photographed outdoors in that propaganda video which would be a no-no if they even had a suspicion that some of the birds electronics may still be alive, it's bunker buster bait and I wouldn't want to be with 1/2 mile of that bird seemingly dead or not. That should have been the dead giveaway that she is certaintly dead and rendered useless or truely a fake.
Here is another article I found.
http://www.tlj-news.com/2011/12/08/us-american-stealth-drone-shown-on-iran-tv-is-a-fake/
If it's fake why Obomber asking for it back?
My position is I don't care if it's fake or real, but the consequences of this situation will be. It's just one big Political Football now that smacks of an airstrike.
The Pentagon spokesperson says it's not the CIA's bird, so why would Obarfo ask for it back after that briefing? They want war if it's fake or not, now they have segway to go in and strike Bashire just for playing along.
http://www.tlj-news.com/2011/12/08/us-american-stealth-drone-shown-on-iran-tv-is-a-fake/
So to answer your question of, if it's fake, why would O-fuc head ask for it back? My simple answer is he is a degenerate Bank sock puppet that stands to make his buddies alot of money and gain more power by waring with Iran.
Because the Poor Old Negro Thinks It's A Cadillac
Both those "articles" are complete propaganda fabrication. Both are totally confusing to read (on purpose), zero "logic".
Typos are the only giveway that humans wrote them. Cause "reporters" these days are brain dead.
From the first:
"Even since ABC put up their original story, they've changed their headline and listed writers. Clearly, the public isn't sure what's up yet."
Total shit writing. On many levels.
Well, if you think that's Propaganda fabrication, how the hell did we find out that the CIA (Clandestine operations) Lost a bird in hostle teritory to begin with? Cause Iran made a youtube video? c-mon, something sucks with the whole story and we will probably never know the truth.
The video and both those articles are fabricated.
Entire "situation" never happened. Pure theatre press releases.
Iran is pissed about the YT video we made showing this "drone".
We didn't get their uniforms right.
War will happen regardless of any reality.
We still have many stupids that will pick up a gun for a paycheck.
As long as they exist...it's game on!
I don't know, but that seems pretty consistent with the level of writing I've come to expect from a multi Ph.D. pulitzer prize winning writer nowadays.
ha ha, poor bwarry wants his drone back, sniff sniff
"It's outrageous, egregious, preposterous." - Jackie Chiles
Poor Barry, asking for one of his toys back under such conditions. Laughable, the end
"It's lewd, lascivious, salacious, outrageous"
Who told you to put the balm on?
If you must call anyone "bitchez", it should now be directed at the U.S. Senate and Dept. of Defense for their lack of having any balls. Both the helicopter tail lost in Pakistan during the Bin Laden raid and this drone both should have been tracked and destroyed. How naive of Obama to ask for the drone back. I really hope the U.S. military gets its balls back before the "bitchez" hand over all of our top technology to fucking terrorists. Obama should tell the academics to fuck off while he tests out some of those new bunker busters on the "bitchez" that now posses America's military crown jewels. I really think Obama's people would rather have some tea and negotiate while the fanatics pray for the destruction of our nations.
Any day now they'll pass a law in congress that says it's unlawful for US citizens to shoot at the military drones surveilling you overhead.
They'll attach the bill to a ban on softdrinks, now that they've stamped out incandescent lightbulbs.
Speaking of lightbulbs... The 8-pack of 13 Watt CFL bulbs that was $4.80 ($0.60/ea.) at Sam's Club a couple of months ago, is now $16 ($2.00/ea.). The new law takes effect July 12, 2012. Prices way up at Menard's too.
More deflation, bitchez!
Fucked up it is.
Anyone who understands even the basics of energy and thermodynamics knows that it's only an issue when running incandescents during the cooling season; and, really, I'm in a northern latitude, so when it's warm I have more sun and less need for lights. During the heating season those lights are giving light AND heat, heat that does NOT go to waste!
So, now I have to have bulbs with mercury in them?
Oh, and do you want to know of an even bigger trick? Compare the number of lumens and watts between equivalent CFLs and LEDs. If you were like me you probably believe(d) that the LEDs were more efficient... (I suspect that this is all a way to churn technology [so it cans "save" us] and cover up the mercury issue).
Fuck, I use incandescents to warm my pump house. I use them to brood fowl!
OMG I pissed myself laughing! Is the world getting this stupid? (Duh -answered my own question). This site is just BAAAD! (but more REAL than any other I visit). Thanks guys and gals! Who do I need to slap to get some sense into this senselessnes???
Is that like "He wants his Mojo back?"
Hey Iran, I know I keep saying we might bomb the shit out of you any day now but could please forget about that for a minute and give us our spyplane back?
Thanks,
Barry
And all that others stuff, with downing airliners and stuff, well... we really want our toy back or else we'll throw a tantrum.
I want my plane back, nooooow! Whaaaaaa!
http://conservativebyte.com/wp-content/uploads/2011/07/Cry_Baby_Obama.jpg
that is one fugly mug
All Obama wanted for Christmas was a drone to spy on Iran. Hey Iranians, do you want a fellow muslim to lose faith in Santa?
I think this comes under the well-settled doctrine of international law known as:
PFFFFFFFT, Yeah, Right!
Ok Ladies & Gentlemen...I agree with my fellow ZHers who are VERY SKEPTICAL of the Obama administration's actions in this particular instance...not in any paranoid sense...let's try to be objective...Obama, Panetta, Clinton, & the other cronies of the administration have not maintained their positions in the rat's nest of Washington DC without consistently employing strategies that exploit the weakness of others in order to provide themselves & their 'gang members (DNC/RNC are exactly the same at this point in my opinion) with an express & explicit advantage...Do mistakes occur that seem improbable? absolutely, however, I cannot believe that THESE predators are the type of individuals that leave things of this nature to chance...Although like many other Americans I do not possess the more detailed thesis that supports this one action - I would bet my paycheck that this is a step in a definitive plan that has a far greater implication than Obama wants his ball back nonsense...Moreover, as is normally the case as the cascade of actions & their contingent steps begin to drive to some set of compelling events my heart grows heavy as I recognize that the lives of American soldiers, saliors, marines & airmen will be put at risk...My question - Does the risk warrant the sacrifice of American lives & treasure to protect this country or is it to exploit an advantage for those from the Washington DC Gang & their leecherous 'supporters'? Think about it...What I would not give to have McCain & Levin tried for treason...unfortunately, it is my belief that the enemy within continues to exploit the legacy of an external enemy...May God Bless & protect the US...
In other news, a police officer was shot when he politely asked the hoodlum who disarmed him for his gun back.
He was politely shot though.
I want Amber Heard to come to my condo. I have very, very, very, slightly better odds.

We heard it here a year ago when Douggie Kass was making his predictions for 2011.
Well, fine, but did he say WHEN 2011 was going to happen? Huh, huh?
Honestly, I don't think he had any idea.

In the Land of Conspiracies, He Who Dares, Wins (Qui audet adipiscitur). A little cliche and slogan mincing there.
I suspect China already had all the RQ-170 technology, including the ability to hack the thing and land it. They got their hands on it years ago via espionage. They could not, however, just produce their own identical drones without revealing "sources and methods" or jeopardizing an intelligence asset. Thus, in order to protect, or be able to disavow, their own intelligence successes, the best they could do was to teach Iran how to hack the thing and bring it down. It then becomes immaterial whether or not Iran shares the downed craft with China, since China already has all the details, blueprints, tech, etc. It ends up being a win-win for both Iran and China. Iran gets "face" by pretending they were able to hack into the thing on their own, plus they get to ridicule Obama. Also, Iran can take the high ground by saying---truthfully---that they will not sell the drone to China as it is "Iranian National Property". China can now produce and deploy all the drones it wants, the implication being that they only got the technical data from Iran. Indeed, China can boost the perception of its engineering and manufacturing prowess by beginning to deploy its own RQ-170 drones next Tuesday, trying to pass it off as recently acquired technology, when in fact they have had it for years.
Of course I've just fabricated this entire theory, but let's see if anyone else comes up with the same view, and "proves" their assertion by linking to Zerohedge, under the assumption nobody will actually follow a link back to the one who pulled a theory out of his arse. That is how the internet works, after all, right?
Finally, if I was Ahmedinejad, I would offer to give back the drone if Obama promises not to run for re-election, thus testing whether Obama can put patriotism and national security above personal gain. Talk about a win-win!
Excellent theory, but bear in mind, it doesen't change the fact that the bone of contention is Irans nuclear ambitions / capibilities are still on the front burner. These Neo Cons want war with them so bad they can taste it, there right after we humanitary mission Syria. stay tunned.
Chin like the theory would add another layer however and say the chinese didn't need to hack anything it was given to them. The two big swinging dicks left aren't going head to head for what's left of the oil. This is division of labor and all the chips, aren't in play yet.
