Obama's Master Plan: Bailout Everyone

Tyler Durden's picture

A 40% loss of post-IPO market-cap, channel-stuffing largesse, contract-law destruction, and all with tax-payer backing. That is what the Bailout'er-in-chief has in mind for every manufacturing company in the US. As Politico reports this evening, President Obama gave a speech we think rivals his 'you didn’t build it' miasma as he alienated foreigners, encouraged socialized losses, and suggests bailouts for any and all. "I said, I believe in American workers, I believe in this American industry, and now the American auto industry has come roaring back," (cough - down 43% - cough) he said. "Now I want to do the same thing with manufacturing jobs, not just in the auto industry, but in every industry."

Obama and his goons deserve the troll of the year award.

Obama and Oprah are the same.

"You get a car!  You get a car!  You get a car!"

Just crash this car already so we can get back to a real economy.

vast-dom's picture

a car you can't afford to fill up -- oh wait -- obummer is trying to socialize the uh speculators and their black gold.

this whole thing is a fucking nightmare! with those fat faced cheerleaders behind him -- it's all a fucking stage at YOU, THE SHEEPLE'S EXPENSE.

Richard Chesler's picture

Actually his track record with the criminal bankster industry is much better.

Lucky for him the sheep have the attention span of a two year old.

In reality it seems like there's a lot of resistence to more stimulus. Even within the Fed itself:

If 48 hours ago I decided to the up with the stupidest things Obama could say, this would have been in the top 5.

If both parties are equally corrupt and rapacious, how is a two-party political system better than a one-party system?

The Monkey's picture

Obama is fucked. He will lose the election on the stock market crash coming up alone.

Bye bye.

The Progressives are desperate. They are campaigning with reckless abandon looking to buy as many votes as they can and it must not be working...... well, not yet.

It is enough that the people know there was an election. The people who cast the votes decide nothing. The people who count the votes decide everything.
Joseph Stalin

I am concerned for the security of our great Nation; not so much because of any threat from without, but because of the insidious forces working from within.
Douglas MacArthur

I don't understand it. Jack will spend any amount of money to buy votes but he balks at investing a thousand dollars in a beautiful painting.
Jackie Kennedy

Our votes must go together with our guns. After all, any vote we shall have, shall have been the product of the gun. The gun which produces the vote should remain its security officer - its guarantor. The people's votes and the people's guns are always inseparable twins.

Comes the revolution... first against the wall... the MSM... for refusing to properly vet this incompetent boob.

Let banksters mark mortgage assets to market, so housing asset prices would come down.

People don't have the money to buy a car, because it all goes to housing and taxes!

jeff montanye's picture

some thoughts: obama and oprah are actually different because she really gave out the cars.  obama talks one way and does another.

he wasn't properly vetted but most of the worst he's done is copy and build on the police state given new form by g.w. bush.

obama should be defeated not because romney is better (though he might be; presidents are unpredictable) but because the democrats will never do any reform or law enforcement under obama (and he/they should be punished).

in all likelihood the same analysis will apply to romney, should he win, in 2016.

That thing you didn't build....it belongs to us now.

It just seems like communism....but it's not.

Communism was supposed to be nice. Until humans took it over.

Communism was supposed to...

OK...lets try it again for the 101st time.....maybe it will work this time.

The debates should be lively....this guy is so full of shit Romney will have a hard time keeping the stink off of him...

Sauk Leader's picture

That is if Romney grows a set and actually challenges him. He needs to go all out and call him out on everything the media ignores. Hopefully he gets a VP mate that can coach him on how to do that.

I have trouble paying for property taxes (house, cars) because of, wait for it...

Income TAXES! Bitchez!

+1000 for you sir. It makes me sick. Release your records Barry. How did you pay for school? Did you know Tony Rezko back then? Did he promise to give you that house if you got good grades?

Two party systems are more stable because there's commitment to the the illusion that the next guy is going to be better.

not I

in both interviews i gave i stated that those voting for obama would be dissappointed

so, while i was wrong and none of them appear disappointed, i myself did not drink the kool-aid

In 2009 I had a conversation had a conversation with my American cousin about Obama... I was stunned when she said she'd cried when he got elected (tears of joy). I was shocked because she was so anti-government when Bush II was president. I thout her cynicism was drawn from bad government in general but it turns out she was, and still is, blinded by the left right dichotomy. I tried to warn her then that Obama would be the same or worse but she refused to believe me. I spoke with her last year and though she admitted that Obama did not live up to his promise, "he was still better than any one else they could choose from.". When I asked her about Ron Paul she didn't really know much about him (in summer of 2011)..

"In reality it seems like there's a lot of resistence to more stimulus. Even within the Fed itself"

Quantitative Easing is based on Marx's Theory of Reflexivity. Bernanke will print in September in an effort to save obama he's also a Marxist and birds of a feather.

The thing to remember about obama's I want to bail out everyone propaganda is he knows full well he can't he would be stopped by Congress yet he says it anyway and the sheep cheer so he got the desired response. The crowds in Germany cheered Hitler too.

sunaJ's picture

If he had actually saved the auto industry, creating good jobs to fill a real demand for people with sound money, then I would say, "you go boy!"  But he didn't.  Because there is no demand and there is no money and there was only channel stuffing and (yet again) extended cheap credit.  It is a fucking pipe dream, because the greater economy is broken.  Does this community organizer even realize it yet?  Sometimes I really think he has no clue what is coming...and then I remember him getting all of his ducks in a row with his emergency structure and powers and all I can think is:  This guy is bald-face lying to us.

fnord88's picture

I can't agree. You don't go into community organising if you want to rule the world. More of a well intentioned idiot type thing. I don't think he is evil, just clueless. Nothing he has ever done has given him any real idea what money is or how an economy works. He speaks well but is clearly impressionable. All the NDAA type stuff is simply him being his masters bitch. And that's what he is, a bitch. His masters knew he could get more done than Bush, because the left and civil liberty people were all over Bush, but Obama's colour has given him a massive pass. I see it all the time. Lefty friends and family that were outraged by bush, torture, patriot act etc, just shrug and give Obama a pass for drone stikes, assassinations, NDAA etc. He is the perfect puppet bitch. I always ask my left friends how they would feel if Santorum had won, and he had the executive power to kill whomever they liked. They shrug, as say "that's different". Hard not to despair sometimes.

sunaJ's picture

I really agree with you for most of this term of his office.  That was the case as he entered office for sure.  I think he thought being president would be the ultimate in community organizing. So he became a bitch to the power structure because he wanted to bring in "the experts" and the consensus of those with experience.  I don't think he realized how corrupt it is.  But I think he knows now and he is too terrified to be the leader that we need.  How much more respect would I have for him if he said Holy Shit, I have been duped, people, and now I'm ready to go after those who have been playing me.  But he doesn't.  Now he seems to be trapped by some psychological squeeze of "not rocking the boat" as the first Black president and being seen as a failure for only serving one term.  But does he want the second term?  For his legacy, I think he does, but for his personal life, I think he wants it to be over.

fnord88's picture

Agree ...... a coward.

You're giving the guy way too much credit.  He is smart like any government worker, knows the game, and he came pretty darn cheap, not really knowing what its like in the private sector.

Obama is the Manchurian candidate who has developed an acute case of Stockholm Syndrome.

pain_and_soros's picture

Agree - tho I'd add that he is an embarrassment to any critical thinking person.

Whoever coined the term Teleprompter in chief was right on.  This guy is hollow - pathetic actually.  That said Romney is hardly a better choice.

Write-in Ron Paul - the only candidate with a functioning brain

That's my plan, for what little it is worth.

been my plan all along

That said Romney is hardly a better choice.

optimal choice, no.  better choice?  its not even close.  remember, Romney's a guy who pledged to let the housing market clear - its not often you get someone that promises to do the short-term painful, but ultimately responsible, thing.  he's even on record as saying that GM should have been allowed to go bankrupt.

you enjoy myself's picture

when its contrary to someone's electoral interests, yes.

Troll Magnet's picture

riiiiiigt. he was for bailout before he was against it. wake up, numbnuts. obama & romney are one & the same.

He said a lot of things, until he said the other things.  There isn't even any cartilage in that empty suit.

Lednbrass's picture

Romney is on record saying all manner of things, most of which have nothing to do with how he used power when he was Head Masshole.

That your support of that cretin is based on what he says and not what he has actually done should tell you something.

Correct- write in Ron Paul and sleep well.
