What I find interesting by these crowds is their diversity. They share no common goal or ideal. This makes them incredible difficult for infiltration by agent provocateurs, as any action or opinion is seen as a minority by the American public.
Even the armchair public relations agents are having a difficult time swaying internet opinion. If I was part of the system and had something to lose I'd be kind of worried right now.

I have family that lived in Russia during the final days of the Soviet Union. What you never heard about in media was what the enforcers wound up ultimately doing to reign in beaurocrats. If our situations are as similar as I think they are the pool of enforcers will begin to shrink in 2013.
This happens because a State is a model and the harsher the enforcement becomes, the inevitable arises where the enforcers families are so affected as to turn on their masters.

As with any compromise/consensus (including the US Constitution!), there will be things that each party to it will be unhappy with ... but, IF it gets any mainstream publicity by the presstitutes, it will strike a chord with the sheeple. That is a good thing.
FWIW, education of children IS a human right ... it's just that some of us think it is the responsibility of the parent to either provide it personally (by home schooling) or pay for it (by sub-contracting it to a school/teacher).
I copied the list into Excel and examined each point individually on its merits. I posted a comment on the one I disagree with. No baby out with the bath water. But a bunch of lazy students demanding free education (<== perception if not reality) compromises the integrity of the list.

As for the others, I disagree with 4 out of the 21 points, but still think it is a good list that addresses many of my other concerns with government (since the corporations only do what government allows them to do -- either through legislation or negligence). I'd probably find more to disagree with on Ron Paul's ticket than 4 out of 21, given his vagueness on some issues.
Pretty much the whole list we call the "Bill of Rights" were not rights before they were seized. You get rights the moment you have the power to take them and keep so so long as you have the power to hold them.
But the rights idea aside, it is a really good idea to educate your people. You need a populace with a clue in order to keep pace with the rest of the world.
The U.S. populous is pretty well educated. They still don't have a clue.
Whether we are keeping pace with the rest of the world is a matter for debate.
Homeschool your children and teach them knowledge acquisition is a personal responsibility or suffer the consequences for ceding your parental responsibilities to the State.

I'll write more about Burnett if readers want me to, but let me focus for now on the larger problem with her -- and the trip to Occupy Wall Street is only a symptom of it. At a time when many people come to cable news looking for someone they can trust to help lead them out of the economic nightmare this country has plunged them into, she comes across as self-satisfied, smug, priviledged and feeling not one whit of their pain. In fact, she's there to mock them and sarcastically say, "seriously!?" -- as she did of the protesters.
Burnett's problem runs much deeper from what I have seen -- it runs straight through to the persona, if not the person herself.
It seems as if she doesn't get journalism, and she sure doesn't get America, at least not the one I live in -- seriously.

The more the police make themselves an obvious enemy of the ordinary protesting person, the more the protest will ramp in scale. They have already lost.
Even a massive false-flag operation would fail at this point, because too many people are aware of that old trick.
But there are still a lot of cowards unwilling to face the truth... look around. Non-violent reform means the society takes the first punches. It is not yet time to consider other options.

That's why they bring the plastic nets and metal barricades, and order reinforcements upstream of where the crowd is moving... so they don't have to run. It is an interesting strategy to use rapid mobility to evade police capture, but you really can't move fast enough, because they bring reinforcements to your destination before you get there. I'm wondering what the threshold is for when the protesters outnumber the police by number and locations, so that the police absolutely can't control the crowd. That's when we migtht see national guard, Xe soldiers, or even UN peace keepers or Nato troops.
The oligarchs have spent a lot of time and money planning for the overthrow of the world's governments / financial system... they will not be dissuaded by a bunch of "kids" crying foul play. The crowd needs to become much bigger and global, so the oligarchs do not have any choice... their soldiers will be outnumbered just like the example I gave of the police. That's why 15O was such a significant moment. The people have crossed the threshold and the assault is in the "belly of the beast"... last place where high finance is running amok but unchecked... now we have our check, the people protesting. Of course, the people who believe that Wall Street is the main culprit are drunk... but the other protesters have been battling in their own "bellies", their own finanical enemies abroad, so this is a global war against finance... finance started it, we'll end it.
We, the people, cannot allow the oligarchs or finance to find a safe haven, anywhere on Eearth. They want to kill us, starve us, punish us, imprison us, enslave us... fuck that. I'm posting from Occupy Santa Cruz. It's a mostly good crowd. We went around protesting WFC, BAC... Slogans like "move your money to a local bank" and "the bailout is bullshit" and "banks go bailed out we got sold out. " Some End the Fed too. It's not all hippy ignorance, there's a real disgust with the injustice of transferring money from the poorest to save the megabanks.
Some guys won't get out of the fucking street, and i think that's bullshit. Theres quite enough room. Go storm a bank lobby or something but that just inconveniences rgular folks

Eventually, the MSM had to back off coverage of the Tea Party, when the gun-toting "morans" started spewing obviously racist garbage, and making fools of themselves on camera. Of course to counter the finding above and cofuse the issue, the conservative mouthpiece, Media Research Center, has released a recent report showing gretaer coverage of OWS. Well, duh, it is and will be covered more because it is and will remain a far more significant political force that the Tea Party, which apparently thinks operating within the current system of fraud and corruption will do just fine.

I was wandering in Oakland last night, my first hashish wave coming on; and found myself at the border of a 200-person march. A motley assortment, not out of the ordinary for these parts - but including curiously at the center a number of muslims in caps\head covering. The women marching behind.
This morning the local papers reported it but failed to mention Muslims, still less the fact that. by the time the march reached the Civic plaza (and I with them, more or less) the chanting had been taken over by the muslims:
"God's Peace!"
"God's Peace!"
"God's Peace!"
What interested me most was the police - they outnumbered the marchers at least 2 to 1 and were armed to the teeth.
When I came walking up 11th out of West Oakland they were blocking traffic parallel to the march - staying one block ahead, a rather sophisticated manuevre.
These guys were loaded for bear - all the gear, cars marked and unmarked, civvies on the streets. I have no doubt they were a Fed-fortified force. Several choppers in the air.
All for 200 ragtag tattooed teenagers? I think not. I think it was the Muslims that scared TPTB. I crossed several lines and finally made it to the BART and swung out of that hornet's nest. Completed my high with a 10k run in the twilight.
Here's a question - why did the Oakland Police Dept. let the guys run wild in the aftermath of the BART shooting verdict, wreaking vandalism all up & down Telegraph Ave. - but take such pains to bottle this benign march up with the help of FED riot police?
They were under orders to allow the BART shooting protesters to blow off some steam. This is a direct challenge to TPTB and the message is being sent that the OWSers are poking at a hornets nest.
