Meanwhile the rest of the world has been watching in horror as America and Iran have continued to escalate a very testy situation that looks poised to result in open hostilities, which have a chance of drawing Israel, Russia, China, and some Arab countries into the conflict. This war between Iran and the USA has already begun, and the US fired the first shot when they announced sanctions on any banks doing business with Iran’s central bank on December 31, 2011. Since then, this and other developments have caused Iran’s currency to drop precipitously in value. This is one way of waging war in 2012, by attacking a nation’s currency. But economic war is just the first stage.

Gosh damn. An unthinkable irony just occured to me. What if Iran already has an A-bomb. What if Israel attacks Iran to prevent them from having the A-bomb. What if Iran then A-bombs Israel in retaliation. I would then have to call such an unthinkable event, an Irany.

Panetta just a few weeks ago assured us that Iran was not seeking to build nuclear weapons. If he was telling the truth then, why all the sanctions and the threats? By making contradictory statements like this, he gives the strong impression of being confused and befuddled.
