Maybe that disdain is not as misdirected as I thought. But then again we're not getting pee'd all over by wikileaks and stuff right now.

Mitt Zombie, Crony Capitalist!

If the GOP nominates Romney have no doubt that they see the Tea Party, Conservatism, and the Constitution - as meaningless.

The big government propaganda machine, otherwise known as our mainstream media, has done a great job promoting Mitt as the only viable choice to face Obama.  Well, I suppose they would take Huntsman, and in an emergency, anyone but Paul. I have never seen a more concerted and blantant effort by the media to ruin someone than we are seeing with Paul.  It's as if they are acting on concert, driven by some unseen command control apparatus. Obviously Paul threatens the priciple power players in this country, most notably the financial elite and the federal reserve.  It's eye opening to see just how far their tentacles of power reach, and how easily the public can be manipulated.  One would have thought that after the financial debacle and resultant bailouts, the public would not so easily forget that many of these companies, along with the fed, made decisions that greatly jepordized our republic. Taking money from these enterprises should be a toxic pill for any candidate, but the press doesn't see it that way. On the contrary, the press sees this as a seal of affirmation.  Many things are broken in the country, but this unholy alliance of the press, big banks and big government is like a terminal cancer.

Well, this is OT, but it's the nearest political post; I wonder where Ma Ying-jeou's contributions came from, not that it fucking matters anyway.

The Taiwanese failed to deseat the incumbent who has sold, and will now deliver, Taiwan to China:

They also failed to elect a non-KMT dominated legislature, maintaining the president and party's absolute power:

Sad days, now and ahead, for those who care about freedom, sovereignty, and democracy in Taiwan.

It should be noted that these are OLD numbers (at least in political campaign terms) and have not been updated in some time.  The point, however, is not the amount of the contribution but the style of the contributors.  All Wall Street, all finance....  Look at these (updated) totals NOW and I'm sure the trend is even more concerning.

Absolutely no change in direction if Romney gets in.

Either Romney's poll figures are cooked or American's are dumb shits that want to be taken up the ass by their politicians.

I'll go with cooked for now to save the argument.

the votes don't count, it is the counting of the votes.
the news don't matter, it is in the reporting of the news.
certain criminal elements have figured this out folks.
this is the key to the success of romney and obama and the failure
of civilization and the "idea" of the united states of america.
the media is not your friend and is not informing you, that is
not its job. its job is to subjugate and manipulate your behavior
and thoughts. that is what they are paid to do and they do it very
well and pride themselves on their professionalism.

Media Reacts To Conan's Same-Sex Wedding News
here an example of the diversity of your media,
main stream, and how they can coordinate and reinforce
the message they deem fit to dictate. the sad criminal
truth is that the process is the same for everything
from war to education to diet to what pills you take.
they define the boundaries of your mind if you let them.
and that doesn't even matter because they define the boundaries
of the minds around you and then you have to then deal with
that on a more intimate level as you cannot just turn off
your neighbor or children. i think the word is insidious.

Can you steal a Billion dollars from your City Government? How about your County Government? How about your State Government? Probably not.

How about the Federal Government? Well hell yes, it happens every day. Why, because it's only $3 per person on a National basis. Who is going to miss $3.

There will always be corruption, but you can limit the scale.

All of Romney and Obama's Bankster donors would be absent if we had a Constitutionally limited Federal Government.

The course is set, the die is cast, and the trajectory will not change until we hit the wall.  Then it will become patently obvious to a little more than half the population that slogans, glittering generalities and straw men cannot save us from a world of finite and declining resources and growing populations.

The course change will come when it is forced on us. Unfortunately due to entropy, there will be a cascading collapse of complex systems.  Then, after the federal government has been proven to be largely irrelevant, we will begin the slow arduous process of building sustainable communities.

Our problems are national and international, but our solutions are local.

No matter who gets the republican nod, Obama is going to win re-election.   It will not change.   Too many people are directed by television and newspapers.   No mind of their own...

Obama should be removed form office for several broken laws, failure to uphold the constitution and on and should most of these bastards.

On the bright side I'll get free medical care and the government will provide my food for me.   If I'm lucky I'll get to be a waiter and serve the elite who have the money....their spending is increasing...the only thing that keeps 'positive' improvement in the US economy.   Remove the top tier spending and you'll see we are depressed.

Vote for anyone but Ron Paul

And YOU become a traitor to the constitution!

look at the legal definition:

trea·son (trzn)
1. Violation of allegiance toward one's country or sovereign, especially the betrayal of one's country by waging war against it or by consciously and purposely acting to aid its enemies.
2. A betrayal of trust or confidence.

It is a requirement of any elected office to uphold and defend the constitution! When the elected officials of ANY office vote against Constitutional MANDATES, it then becomes the OBLIGATION of the electorate (you) to remove the offender from legal/suit, recall election, impeachment or other means.

When any elected official acts in a way that is contrary to the law, ie, the constitutional law of the land, he or she has violated their oath of office, a FELONY.

If YOU vote for a known criminal, you are aiding and abbetting those who have knowingly and deliberately violated their oath of office. By doing so, you are anaccomplice, and subject to arrest and prosecution.

You are giving AID and COMFORT to the enemies of the united states...the international bankers, who Thomas Jefferson warned us about and cursed with his dying breath.

YOU are the reason the us is on its knees.

voting for ANYONE but ron paul is an act of treason and will be the knockout punch for american liberty.

In the postscript he reported that Mitt Romney (a Mormon) had a $400 million slush fund account at the Vatican Bank in Rome.

And noting the appearance on the list of that most esteemed shyster firm, Sullivan & Cromwell:

Allen Dulles, brother of John Foster Dulles, was the Director of the CIA from 1953 to 1961. He was a senior partner at the Wall Street firm of Sullivan and Cromwell, which represented the Rockefeller Empire and other mammoth trusts, corporations and cartels.

The American Secretary of State John Foster Dulles was an avowed opponent of Communism whose law firm of Sullivan and Cromwell[9] had represented United Fruit. His brother Allen Dulles was the director of the CIA, and was a board member of United Fruit.
