Questions and observations for the day;

1.  OK, what happened behind the scenes while the Debt Drama was being played out?  Classic distraction.  What happened?  What Big Time Charley behind the opaque screen is it that we're missing?  Classic never let a crisis go to waste.

2.  What'll be the next disaster of a manufactured crisis attempting to distract the pleebes from the real activity?  Another war?  Germany's asked the UN to discuss the slaughter of Syrian citizens by its own military on the eve or Ramadan.
(Lybia was a European driven effort; France and UK.)
They've plenty in Europe to draw attention away from as well...

3.  Today is DC's report card.  Major "F-"  For all the work, drama, time, effort and public appeals, the vote is in...

                The Only Truth Is Price

And that truth is bad.  Nothing has gone right.  Bad decisions surrounded by terrible and impossible PR, reported sloppily by the captive MSM, resulting in a majority concensus vote of markets... not of select few participants, but the entirety of markets....

....that it's a failure.  The whole fucking thing is falling apart.  At the very moment where true statesmenship and leadership with the best of intentions for the country would have been rewarded, disaster has befallen the full range of our social, political and economic system.

The vote is unanimous.
A vote recognizing failure.

To once again paraphrase Yeates; "There is no center left to hold."

The problem is, all these 'profitable' companies are the ones laying off workers here in the US and hiring overseas for pennies on the dollar (and is the main reason they are showing profit). That does not, and never will, equate to anything good for main street.

Ahhh..just like the good ole days. Perhaps this is how banks will make their cash until they shake Ben & Pres. O down for QE3..short the markets..get QE3 lined up and go long. That sounds like a plan until the moment that occurs WTI and metals explode because 2 QE programs were a complete failure for unemployment numbers, ISM and margin compression as commodities soared.

Sure cannot wait till hear Pres O during the debates explain how anything has changed structurally to prevent a worse rout than in 2008. Our debt will be downgraded and then the rules will be changed to allow for banks to hold AAA and "Govt Securities" which will by default be given a laughable AAA. So now the eye turns to the Euro who has only one option..print it up and home one of the sovereigns does not go rogue.

What a disaster. Housing is still collapsing even with 0% rates and held off inventory to prevent pricing pressures. Wanna launch QE Ben?? No problem..we will all load up on Gold and Silver leveraged ETFs.

Really guys, how much do you think QE next will help. A short lived rally, sure, but for how long this time? We all know here that never in the history of this planet has a nation ever prospered by printing money. You can go all the way back to ancient Rome, just cannot happen. Does not mean they will not continue to try because what is the goal for our useless politicians, get re-elected. That is job 1. Not to late to start accumulating the traditional metal. Day shorting today worked great, but how do you hold shorts over night when you have a Mad man at the monetary helm. Tough.

The elites are getting desperate.  Their NWO thingey has hit a big speed bump; the puppets in the WH and FED have not taken us to 2012 without the whole agenda unraveling, whether in the US or Europe.  Their alternate Mormon puppet doesn't look like he could win.  What to do? What to do?  Look for falso flag attacks all over the place and worldwide martial law; the vampires will not "go gently into the night".

lets see if i am a bank with a market program that even an attorney general admits can be used to manipulate the market, what would I do to bring about another Qe as fast as I can?

after yesterdays market action that opened so high and finished so low it was clear there is somebody tanking the market. Ok up a couple days, then fall lower breaking the 200 moving day, but yesterdays actions we so extereme it should have raised a lot of eyebrows. I would have expected an up day, it didn't have to be nearly what it was at the open, up, then down. yesterday took the cake. But hey, there's no manipulation

Wish I was in Washington.  I'd pay to see the dumbfounded look on the politician's faces who thought they were doing the right thing by voting for a budget with no real cuts and a debt limit increase, only to find that the market says otherwise and thinks these guys are morons. Reid and Boehner and Obama are probably in a group hug right now crying their eyes out.
