Quote Of The Week

Tyler Durden's picture

Self-explanatory:

“Whoever controls the volume of money in our country is absolute master of all industry and commerce…and when you realize that the entire system is very easily controlled, one way or another, by few powerful men at the top, you will not have to be told how periods of inflation and depression originate.” – President James Garfield, 2 weeks before his assassination.

This 1% and 99% is getting old.

The 1% are like drug dealers don't you get this? You take out 1 and there are 10 ready to take his place.

There's always gona' be a 1% and it's never gona' be fair (unless it's you). Life ain't fair and it will never be fair so either get into the 1% or STFU

"Most Americans have no real understanding of the operation of the international money lenders. The accounts of the Federal Reserve System have never been audited. It operates outside the control of Congress and manipulates the credit of the United States."
-Sen. Barry Goldwater

It is well that the people of the nation do not understand our banking and monetary system, for if they did, I believe there would be a revolution before tomorrow morning."
-Henry Ford

"The regional Federal Reserve banks are not government agencies. ...but are independent, privately owned and locally controlled corporations."
-Lewis vs. United States, 680 F. 2d 1239 9th Circuit 1982

"The Federal Reserve banks are one of the most corrupt institutions the world has ever seen. There is not a man within the sound of my voice who does not know that this nation is run by the International bankers."
-Congressman Louis T. McFadden

“The real truth of the matter is, as you and I know, that a financial element in the large centers has owned the government of the U.S. since the days of Andrew Jackson.”
-Franklin Delano Roosevelt

"As soon as Mr. Roosevelt took office, the Federal Reserve began to buy government securities at the rate of ten million dollars a week for 10 weeks, and created one hundred million dollars in new [checkbook] currency, which alleviated the critical famine of money and credit, and the factories started hiring people again."
-Eustace Mullins

"This [Federal Reserve Act] establishes the most gigantic trust on earth. When the President [Wilson} signs this bill, the invisible government of the monetary power will be legalized....the worst legislative crime of the ages is perpetrated by this banking and currency bill."

"The wealth of the nation including our land was turned over to the banksters. In return, the nations 100 billion dollar debt was forgiven. I have two papers that have circulated the country on this subject. Remember Jesus said "money is the root of all evil" The Congress of 1933 sold every American into slavery to protect their asses. Read the following Congressional quotes: "

"I want to show you where the people are being imposed upon by reason of the delegation of this tremendous power. I invite your attention to the fact that section 16 of the Federal Reserve Act provides that whenever the Government of the United States issues and delivers money, Federal Reserve notes, which are based on the credit of the Nation--they represent a mortgage upon your home and my home, and upon all the property of all the people of the Nation--to the Federal Reserve agent, an interest charge shall be collected for the Government." -- Congressional Record, Congressman Patman, March 13, 1933

"Mr. Speaker, we are here now in chapter 11. Members of Congress are official trustees presiding over the greatest reorganization of any bankrupt entity in world history, the U.S. government." -- Congressman Traficant on the House floor, March 17, 1933

"That is the equity of what we are about to do. Yes; you are going to close us down. Yes; you have already closed us down, and have been doing it long before this year. Our President says that for 3 years we have been on the way to bankruptcy. We have been on the way to bankruptcy longer than 3 years. We have been on the way to bankruptcy ever since we began to allow the financial mastery of this country gradually to get into the hands of a little clique that has held it right up until they would send us to the grave." -- Congressional Record, Congressman Long, March 11, 1933

Even Ponzi masters back off periodically to lock in gains and rebuy at lower prices. HFT trading detail allows for a better picture of when retail buying is drying up.

They also need to back off to build short interest that helps propel the next upward move when stops are exceeded.

That day probably hit the tipping point some time in the 70's.  Shit would have sank a lot more, but we have too many smart people that created massive productivity gains, countering the drain from the coffers.  Barring some new energy, we reached productivity gain saturation sometime in the late 90's.

Social Networking is a great example of how we have moved technology from beneficial gains to actual incremental losses.

Not a coincidence. People say many things while alive. No one says anything while dead.

The idea that someone has said something no one else has said before is weak. Perhaps a person was important enough for someone else to edit the lifelong record of the important person. If an idiot said something like what one finds to be a 'best quote', would it have the same impact? Why not?

Basically the  Illuminati Oligarchs take someone who is mentally weak or unstable, and brainwash them into being the trigger man.

That way when they are caught, everyone just says, "Oh he was just deranged".  And voila!  Untraceable faultless assisination.

Isn't it just a little odd though, that when people start standing up to the tyrants that rule us, all these odd coinsidences start happening and crazy people start shooting, hottubs become deadly, or shows go off the air etc..

You have the right idea, but the wrong mechanism.

They don't have to take anyone. They don't single someone out. Rather they rely on the observation that a certain percentage (say 1% just to pull a popular number from the air) of people walking around are unhindged enough to have their personal reality manipulated at a distance. These people are everywhere, just bumbling along doing their best, hurting and damaged, waiting for some sign to come that they are important too. So the controllers saturate the media circus with subtle but potent cues on what needs to happen. On who the enemy is, what the stakes are, and who might become a hero. It doesn't have to be a big deal, but it has to be persistant and on-message. Eventually one of those rare people gets the message, and is in the right place, and has the right weapon, and has the right opportunity, and -- the deed is done.

You think it is complicated. It is not complicated. You think it is someone special. It is not anyone special.

Kill your TV. Cancel your newspaper. Avert your eyes. For we are all being mind-fucked.

This message brought to you by the Illuminati: We fuck with you because we care!

Power in the hands of a few men; strings on the politicians and the political system?

Is the massive obvious fraud in GOP caucuses this year…Iowa, Nevada and now Maine…finally signaling the end of the two-party system?

Maine’s brazen, out-in-the-open fraud reminds one of the notorious Chicago cemetery voting and the career start for the man Lyndon Johnson with ballot stuffing in Jim Wells County.

Ron Paul supporters in Maine are now claiming their candidate captured the majority of votes in last weekend’s caucuses in spite of the GOP’s selection of Mitt Romney as the winner. And there is growing pressure on the state GOP establishment to issue the true vote.

Voters in three Maine counties were not represented in the totals…including Washington County whose caucus vote this year was cancelled until this Saturday by a Romney supporter chairman. The excuse for the delay was “snow.”

The other two missing county caucuses were also under leadership of Romney supporters.

Yet Romney was declared winner after a 194 vote lead over Paul with only 84% of precincts counted.

Here’s the story:

2 weeks before his assassination by "Guiteau [who] was upset over the rejection of his repeated attempts to be appointed as the United States consul in Paris – a position for which he had no qualifications. He suffered from many delusions, including one that he had produced a speech which he was convinced was pivotal to Garfield's election, and another, that he was destined to be President himself."

Not that I don't love me some central banker assassination conspiricy theories, but I think that quote and the time of Garfield's death are a coincidence.

Prez Garfield was absolutely correct.    Prez Lincoln ran crosswise with these people too and probably contributed to his early retirement....   Kennedy signed an exec order to dissolve the Fed Reserve Brd/Bank (Johnson recinded immediately) just shortly before he also retired early (in Dallas).....   Garfield, Lincon, & Kennedy all fought against these edomite banksters.... and now as the economy sinks all Americans are struggling against them....  When will we wake up and take our country back for Americans.... When ?

"any party which commits itself to paper money will go down amid the general disaster, covered with the curses of a ruined people."

--James Garfield quoted in the Wikipedia entry on him, as opposed to his murder.

There was a time not so long ago when only a small minority among us were capable enough and dedicated enough to see through the smoke screen of lies, confusion and disinformation, protecting the corrupt heart of our parasitical monetary system.

Those times are gone and now anyone can pull back the curtain and take a peek at the slave masters "doing gods work"...

The few good men that gave their lives trying to kill the beast will not be forgotten. Instead they will be replaced by thousands or millions of incredulous and disgusted souls who, are beginning to see the horrible truth.

The cat is out of the bag, and it cannot be put back in.

Sooner or later a showdown will result, but this time it will not be between one good unarmed man and a "deranged killer". This time it will be a battle of perception, of free markets versus central planning, of nature versus the Hubris of the bank-sters. This time even the public may become involved in some as yet unseen way.

For those individuals who protect the money changers, the time is approaching where double talk will not be enough.

Sides will have to be taken.

Choose wisely....

“Gentlemen, I have had men watching you for a long time and I am convinced that you have used the funds of the bank

to speculate in the breadstuffs of the country. When you won, you divided the profits amongst you, and when

you lost, you charged it to the [public] bank. You tell me that if I take the deposits from the bank and annul its

charter, I shall ruin ten thousand families. That may be true, gentlemen, but that is your sin! Should I let

you go on, you will ruin fifty thousand families, and that would be my sin! You are a den of vipers and thieves.”

-Andrew Jackson 1832

Quote is unsourced and likely bogus, see:

Garfield was a fervent supporter of the gold standard but did not actually say the words in the quote.
