Ron Paul: "I Don't Fully Endorse Romney For President"
On the 'new' eve of the Republican Convention, it appears all is not well in the Romney-Ryan ranks. In what is quite a stunning admission, though not entirely surprising given his outspoken desire for a change to the status quo, the NY Times is reporting that Ron Paul does not fully endorse Romney for President. Mr. Paul, said convention planners had offered him an opportunity to speak under two conditions: that he deliver remarks vetted by the Romney campaign, and that he give a full-fledged endorsement of Mr. Romney. He declined. "It wouldn't be my speech," Mr. Paul said. "That would undo everything I’ve done in the last 30 years. I don’t fully endorse him for president." Whether this is Paul playing an admirable 'long-game' and/or standing by his libertarian roots (or angry at his apparent marginalization) is unclear but one thing is for sure; with the dominance of 'young' voters (seeking 'change'?) behind Ron Paul relative to 'old' voters with Romney, this rebuff will not help in the fight against TOTUS. As BigStory reports, Paul is telling his supporters to stand firm because "we will become the tent eventually!"

I am a libertarian but often vote Repugnican for defacto / practical reasons. This is because I am self employed and can not afford democrat policies. I am selfish. By the way, I moved from Leon County Florida to New York mid 2000 and it was too close to the election to register in NY so I had to vote absentee in Florida. But a mysterious thing happened to my ballot, it arrived on Wednesday November 8. I was pissed too, I tossed it. Now can you imagine what a collecters item that would be today, an unopened absentee ballot from the 2000 election for a Florida democratic voter?
By the way, I did not vote Obama in 08 but I so loath Romney and his magic underpants boys that I will have no choice this time. On the other hand it would be nice to see the collapse come during a republican administration where it rightly belongs.

So Bush and Gore were more different than Obama and Romney. Yeah, Gore wouldn't have invaded Iraq and he would have wiped his ass with the Constitution a bit less than Bush did. And now McCain would be president and he would make up for lost time. Any policy differences are ultimately minor, because if the puppetmasters don't get what they want now, they will get it from their next puppet. The puppetmasters push different parts of their agenda when the appropriate parties are in power, and then they get us to vote for their next puppet, and they push the other side of the agenda while the puppet breaks his promises about rolling back the previous guy's despotism. In the long run it doesn't matter which puppet wins. The puppetmasters use left-right-left to march us, like a ratchet, towards tyranny.
Like I said, we can speculate but we will never what WOULD have been, I am pretty sure it could not have been worse than the BushCo version of 2000-2008. I doubt he would have been able to get the kind of punitive carbon tax through he now espouses, politically it would never have flown, but we would not have had the BushCo tax cuts for the wealthy and it is possible that we would have gone on to run genuine budget surpluses. If 9/11 had happened anyway the response would not have been two disastrous foreign wars that solved nothing and squandered trillions of dollars borrowed from the Chinese. But, I am pretty sure our security apparatus knew 9/11 was coming and COULD have stopped it, would have under a Gore administration.
I disagree about McCain, Gore would have got two terms just like BushCo, and McCain was bound to lose in 08 no matter who the dem was, probably would have been Clinton, he was then just too old and irrelevant. McCain only did as well as he did because there were wars on and he is a known hawk. People like hawks in wartime, get in there and get it won they think, none of this dragging it out for 20 years like Vietnam seemed to be. Hard to believe that was only 10 years, felt like 40.
OK, fair points. Guess it all comes down to 9/11 and the worldwide carbon tax and whether the puppetmasters would have had the juju to ram these plots through. If both plots would have failed, then Gore would have been significantly better.
The BushCo and Cheney were/are high ranking members of the perceived cabal of puppet masters, not at a decision making level but at the enforcement level, and for our masters conspiracy to go forward (if you believe in such a conspiracy) they had to win the 2000 election and allow 9/11 to go forward, and this generously assumes they were not part of the actual planning of 9/11 but merely aware of it by others outside the cabal who were motivated by hate, in this case al Qaeda and their hosts the Taliban. BushCo and Cheney were darned near defeated by Gore too, if you look up presidential election Florida 2000 at Wiki you will see that had Florida statute been followed as to the counting of their votes, aka the "lenient standard" Gore would have clearly won, and it was the prospect of a recount according to that state legal standard ordered by the Florida Supreme Court that prompted an appeal by the BushCo to the biased US Supreme Court which stopped enforcement of Florida election law that handed the presidency to BushCo, it was not the will of the people. That single decision made by a single individual on the SCOTUS which tipped the decision 5-4 in favor of BushCo was what made all that has happened since possible, that is how close it was, had that one swing vote justice sided with the Florida Supremes the world would be a vastly different place today. There would still be problems of course, but we could deal with those, now because we were stripped of rights and power as people we can no longer affect outcomes of anything larger than cleaning the lint from our navels.
This cabal everyone thinks is "out there," is so amorphous and secret that it could be the wealthy protecting their greedy interests, it could be freemasons, it could be Odessa funded by Nazi loot, it might even be satanic forces beyond the mortal plane, it may not exist at all. One thing is sure, the abortion of election 2000 and the subsequent mockery of justice inflicted upon us all assures us that our constitution and the freedoms enshrined within it will never return without great sacrifice on the part of us all. An outcome I find highly doubtful, and without which there is scant hope for civilization or even survival.
