Sky News Reports Israel Preparing For Preemptive Strike On Iran

Tyler Durden's picture

First Fukushima made a repeat appearance last night with news of a repeat fission incident, a topic which has gotten absolutely zero media coverage as discussing beta, let alone gamma decay, is considered uncouth in refined society; now it is time for the fallback geopolitical hotbed to enter the stage. Sky News has reported that Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu is trying to rally support in his cabinet for an attack on Iran, according to government sources. "The country's defence minister Ehud Barak and the foreign minister Avigdor Lieberman are said to be among those backing a pre-emptive strike to neutralise Iran's nuclear ambitions. But a narrow majority of ministers currently oppose the move, which could trigger a wave of regional retaliation. The debate over possible Israeli military action has reached fever pitch in recent days with newspaper leader columns discussing the benefits and dangers of hitting Iran. Mr Lieberman responded to the reports of a push to gain cabinet approval by saying that "Iran poses the most dangerous threat to world order." But he said Israel's military options should not be a matter for public discussion." Which makes one wonder: why is Sky News reporting on this, and why is it a matter for public discussion?

More from Sky:

The International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA) is due to report on the state of Iran’s nuclear capabilities on November 8, and that assessment is likely to influence Israel’s decision.

Western intelligence officials estimate that Iran is still at least two to three years away from obtaining a nuclear bomb.

Israel has long made it clear that it will not allow Iran to obtain a nuclear capability that could threaten the Jewish State.

Publicly it is pushing for a diplomatic offensive against Iran - including the imposition of sanctions - rather than a military strike.

But prime minister Netanyahu has repeatedly warned that all options are on the table.

Israel's former defence minister Benjamin Ben-Eliezer told Haraatez newspaper that he feared a "horror scenario" if Israel attacked Iran.

Washington is also strongly opposed to Israel taking unilateral action.

Any strike on Iran could trigger retaliation from Iran and across the region.

Syria, a close ally of Tehran, could also launch attacks, along with the Iranian-backed Hizbollah militia in Lebanon.

All of this will surely end well if enacted. In the meantime, we present our favorite weekly chart update which we don't show nearly enough.

Israel is simply doing the bidding of it's American master.  No big surprise here.  The spice must flow, and for a supressed price as well.  Junk away fucknuts, entropy will get you too.

paarsons's picture

Let Israel do what Israel wants to do.

Just leave American blood out of it.

We've got enough fuckng problems.

Carlyle Groupie's picture

Seriously. It's American Master?! Dumb-dumb. I thought the Vatican was it's master, lolz. Idiot spin troll.

LawsofPhysics's picture

So you want to bet that America won't support Israel with troops and treasure (well more debt laid upon the taxpayer)?  Come on, put your money were you mouth is you fucking ignorant sheep.  I'll even give you 1000 to one odds.  You know America will all too happily provide blood and treasure for the Rothschild's war into an oil rich region.  How fucking stupid are you?

LawsofPhysics's picture

Thanks for confirming.  Have a nice day.

There's nothing like surprise when you launch a surprise attack, and this is nothing like  surprise.

This  has got to be one of the world's best kept secrets...

expect the death toll to be high with this one...

i-dog's picture

"expect the death toll to be high with this one"

That's the plan. The Sabbateans (Netanyahu, Barak, Lieberman and Peres) are no friends of the jews ... but are, coincidentally, good buddies with Rome.

Troll Magnet's picture

There is a silver lining to all of this.  If Israel attacks Iran, we'll rush in like a bunch of war-starved mofos.  And when that happens, more people will wake up to Ron Paul's message.

BigJim's picture

I'm not sure how many more silver linings the world can take.

'But they warned the calculations could change because of mounting anxiety over intelligence gathered by western agencies, and the more belligerent posture that Iran appears to have been taking'

beyond bizarre, and are we supposed to still believe in WMD, the tooth fairy and santa clause?

It's well established the Rabbis, even to this day, state that the Jews killed by the Third Reich got what they deserved for disobeying and turning away from the Rabbis.  An interesting twist: While Rabbi-sycophant John McCain ran for president last time, he was condemned for hooking up with Zionist Churchian John Hagee.  How'd McCain divorce Hagee?  McCain's campaign condemed Hagee for saying exactly what the Rabbis say all the time: g_d bless Hitler for killing the Jews who disobyed the Rabbis!  It's OK when they say it, you know, like when blacks use the N word.

Upon order of their Rabbi masters, the 1st Session of the 102nd US Congress passed Public Law 102-14 in 1991.  This law accords "...official recognition of the Federal government's legal oblication 'to return the world to the moral and ethical values contained in the Seven Noahide Laws'...Stupid, naive goyim are not told that in order to faithfully adhere to the so-called Seven Laws of Noah, 'righteous gentiles' are obligated to submit to rabbinic interpretations of those laws.  The Talmud commands the death penalty for idolatry.  Since Rabbi Maimonides ruled that Christians are idolaters, US law laid the groudwork for the execution at some future date (when the Rabbis have complete control) of authentic Christians.

No words (except for maybe some Yiddish) can accurately describe the extent to which goyim are suckered by the philosophy of the Rabbis.

i-dog's picture

You seem to be flying off on some weird tangent!!

The only thing that Public Law 102-14 of the US Congress resolved was that one of the 365 days in the year 1991 be declared as "Education Day, U.S.A."!!!

Here is the full resolution (from here):

"Resolved by the Senate and House of Representatives of the United States of America in Congress assembled, That March 26, 1991, the start of the ninetieth year of Rabbi Menachem Schneerson, leader of the worldwide Lubavitch movement, is designated as `Education Day, U.S.A. '. The President is requested to issue a proclamation calling upon the people of the United States to observe such day with appropriate ceremonies and activities."

"Approved March 20, 1991. Signed by George Bush, President of the United States of America"

Some goys are obviously more easily suckered than others!! ;)

Joseph Jones's picture

Obfuscation, lying, denial, and edited/censored text are prime ingredients of "Rabbinical Talmudism", which your post promotes.  See this link:

Your edited version omits the 2nd line from above:

"...Whereas these ethical values and principles have been the bedrock of society from the dawn of civilization, when they were known as the Seven Noahide Laws..."

Again: The Rabbis can and do, at their whim, interpret the "Seven Noahide Laws" to mean whatever they want whenever they want.  Now, while the Rabbis lack total control (though they gain in power daily), they do not line up Christians and kill them for idolatry.

But Rabbi Maimonedes indeed labels Christianty as idol worship.  So indeed, when their power is fully realized, the above law could and will be enforced and Christians will be slaughtered wholesale, same as Arab-Islam is now.

"Futurism" is the Zionist-quasi-Chrisitan false belief that Jesus returns in the future in Jerusalem.  False/marginal Chrisitans wrongly believe that "physical Israel" still exists.  The truth is since 70AD there is no physical Israel from a Biblical viewpoint.  So faith in a physical Israel is the true Christian idolatry.  The belief in a "chosen race", saved by race (not grace) is the true idolatry promoted by every single Rabbi, no matter how big the smile on his face.

i-dog's picture

Sheesh! You can't fix stupid!!

I quoted the resolution (ie. what has been resolved to enact), while you are simply quoting [again] from the preamble (ie. meaningless assumptions).

gmrpeabody's picture

Still..., if I had to pick a side, and just to piss a lot of you off, I'd choose Israel.

Yep. Obomber is a shoo in ... with a piece of Iran for the oil men and a piece of Israel (Jerusalem under a NATO "piece keeping" force) for Rome. Win-win all round!

Might be a few casualties (like, most of the Shi'ites and Jews gone), but you can't make an omelette without.......

john39's picture

oh those poor Jews, always so taken advantage of...   and kicked out of so many countries throughout history for no good reason....   after all the good they have done with their monetary and "religious" practices too... /s...   all that good stuff they learned in babylon, and no one appreciates them for it.

swoop72's picture

ive said for years now, after watching an episode of star trek tng, i know how to deal with this problem. just pick them up, and move them to nevada, arizona or utah. its all sand and we aint usin it. problem fkin' solved. you dont loose any square footage, and no more rocket attacks.

and if by chance our sand isnt good enough, and you have to have THAT sand....we will transplant it....over here.

quintago's picture

It's bowl shit. If Israel is going to do something it does it first then stays silent afterwards. The fact that there are leaks and public discussion leads me to believe they don't have the capability or know that it will cause a shitstorm that they may not be able to deal with after the strike is done.

Or better yet.... the US has told them their planes might get shot out of the sky if the try anything stupid. This is unlikely though given how we walk around with our tongues out ready to give the Israelis a rim job anytime they so request one.

AmericanFUPAcabra's picture

No no silly, the "leaks" are to get Iran to strike first so Isreal is justified. Remember, its not assault if they throw the first punch son...

infocyde's picture

AmericanFUPAcabra I think you get it.  This is all a psyop to draw the Iranians and their proxies out.  Syria has bio/chem weapons.  If one of them touches down on Israel, Israel then has the green light to do what it takes.  I wouldn't want to be in Demascus nor Tehran right now, or Israel for that matter.  I hear it will really take tac nukes to dig out the burried Iranian weapons plants.  Bunker busters may not cut it.

And then will the Iranians hold us reponsible? I've heard rumors of at least five former Soviet nukes smuggled in.  Will they go boom?

Joseph Jones's picture

"Israelis"??? WTH?  You mean they are not "Israelites", god's "chosenites", saved by "race"?

Israel recently tested a missile that can hit Iran with a nuclear warhead, so shit could hit the fan very, very soon.

Ancona's picture

Dropping nukes on Iran would be insane. I'm not taking a side either way here, just trying to be objective. The saber rattling has intensified recently, and with the alleged plot to assassinate an ambassador to Saudi Arabia, I think they are setting up to allow Israeli planes......somewhere, via S.A.

That said, a nuke attack on an operating reactor is unthinkable. Why would the PTB want to irradiate one of the largest known oil reserves in the world? Isn't that self defeating? What would stop Syria, Lebanon and Egypt from simultaneously going apeshit on Israel? After all, they cant nuke everyone and surround themselves with radiation now can they?

Harlequin001's picture

It wouldn't irradiate the oil if it was below ground...

Ancona's picture

I agree, but if the ground above the oil were turned in to a giant sheet of irradiated Trinitite, how would you get the oil below?

+1 for the DDL refrence

cant wait for the LINCOLN  movie. show me the REAL man. the one that hung like 50 horse theives in the largest public exucition ever, or something like that.

BigJim's picture

...Dropping nukes on Iran would be insane.

Thinking you are God's chosen people is insane. But once this worldview is taken into consideration, it allows you to view Israel's actions with some realism.

tarsubil's picture

Well, this is TPTB trying to throw some stuff at the stuff flying towards the fan in hopes of deflecting it away from imminent fan hitage. Sorta like a missile shield. When people start buying oil with gold, then the stuff will have officially hit the fan. Unfortunately, so much stuff is flying around fan hitage is unavoidable at this point. TPTB are going to have to put a serious amount of stuff in the air to protect the fan from all this other stuff.

swoop72's picture

you just made me think of how they monitor all the objects orbiting the planet. sounds funny when you replace earth with a giant fan.

hey, what did i just do to enlarge my text?

all i did was post.

Abitdodgie's picture

Iran has a lot of "sunburst" missiles , you cannot stop the they fly at about 7000 feet per second and are very accurate, goodbuy aircraft carriers

infocyde's picture

Assuming a converted ohio class cruise missle sub doesn't clean the coast of them first.  Ultimately agree though, carriers are a big target easily overwhelmed by realtively cheap missiles.

swoop72's picture

ever heard of a sea wiz?

a mosquito couldnt get past that thing.

4 billion shots per second or something stupid like that. its designed to shoot down incomming missles. one day the guys were screwing around and decided to send a signal to block the sea wiz. it locked onto the tower that was broadcasting the signal, and proceded to saw it in half, crashing on the deck, before returning to its original target.

Joe Sixpack's picture

And people wonder why Iran is interested in nukes.

Christophe2's picture

Indeed.  Although I am against nuclear proliferation, I can't help but feel the whole world would be a lot safer if Iran had nukes.  That's about the only thing that would stop Israel/US/NATO from ganging up on it.  NUKES IN IRAN FOR WORLD PEACE!
