Smart, Sexy Stocks Again Know Something Bumbling Bonds And Dull Dollars Don't

Tyler Durden's picture

Presented with little comment - aside to note that we have seen this again and again and again, but perhaps this time is different...

It seems smart stock-holders are better informed than the bond buyers, USD usurpers, and Gold QE hopers for now... USD strength and Gold down hardly provide the Central-Bank-Largesse cover for stocks...

I did over at TFMetalsReport ... I thought it was very interesting ... but, then he dropped numbers like 5k metric tons of gold and 20k to 40k metric tons of gold as the amounts leaving European banks for Asia ...

These numbers are sooooo huge, I really have to step back and question the "sources". I am not saying that gold is not flowing East, but I think this scale is suspect.

For the record, official US gold holdings (e.g. Ft Knox and West Point) is around 8k tons, down from the 60's highs of 20k tons.

Take it with a grain of salt ...

Yeah, but that is paper. Jim Willie was saying he had a source which claimed the amount of *physical gold* leaving Europe was in the tonnage I mentioned. I forget exactly, but I think the 5k was YTD and the 20k-40k was total since '08. I would have to check the intereview again to be 100% sure I didn't misquote.

That means that private holdings have to be raided to float those kinds of numbers ... such as allocated accounts ...

Cooter

the 5k was what had left...( was redeemed to asia )

the 20-40k is what they have paper against.. but.. most likely.. dont have .. he was refferencing how short in physical they are...

and ya, just another data point in a sea of contradicting data... just the same... interesting interview

Gold doesnt need QE to rise.. negative interest rates will ensure gold and silver rise for a long time to come./.

i wish everyone would stop pinning gold on QE it knda runis the market and plays into the hands of the planners.. they want to control via perception and people banking on QE, something they control the timing of, certainly does not help our cause..

im buying this dip again though :D

Gold doesnt need QE to rise..

There are two things holding the price of gold below its real, fiat-denominated value:

1)  Central banks stemming the tide via backdoor algo puppet-mastering

2)  Many holders of paper gold playing the "return" game instead of storing purchasing power

its just getting smashed by the traders and specs who are watching the news.. the more it goes down the more it has to rise in the end so always good to load up when you can.

but still it really annoys me, people banging on that we need QE for gold and silver to rise.. gold rose from 2001 without QE for like 89 years..

terribly frustrating to watch my paper plays get smashed about... but still.. my physical stack only grows

Why not just stop looking at fictive numbers representing digital, printable, "paper" gold? Only TA trolls jerk off to that. "Gold has bottomed at [insert random number]" is just made up crap sponsored by our beloved plannerz.

In other news, a nazi collaborator to be elected senator in Texas...

http://2012.talkingpointsmemo.com/2012/05/gopers-battling-it-out-in-texa...

A recent survey from Democratic-leaning Public Policy Polling showed Dewhurst at 46 percent — just shy of the 50 percent magic number — followed by Cruz at 29 percent, former Dallas Mayor Tom Leppert at 15 percent and former ESPN analyst Craig James at 3 percent.

Dewhurst...

http://www.propagandamatrix.com/articles/may2011/260511_spook_dewhurst.htm

Dewhurst is a creature of the federal government, having worked as a CIA agent and also served in the US State Department. He was also director of the state Task Force on Homeland Security.

During his tenure in the CIA in the early 1970's, Dewhurst helped the U.S. government violently overthrow democratically elected regimes in South America to plunder their oil and other resources, including the coup that helped neo-nazi Bolivian Gen. Hugo Banzer Suárez come to power. Banzer was aided by notorious Nazi Klaus Barbie, the "butcher of Lyon," who escaped France after the end of World War 2 to enter Bolivia.

Barbie, an expert in cruel and inhumane forms of torture for the purposes of interrogation, was a key CIA liaison throughout the years Dewhurst served in South America. When the Austin Chronicle asked Dewhurst whether he had enjoyed a drink with the "butcher of Lyon" at the US embassy bar, he responded, "I never comment on intelligence matters."

Klaus Barbie... the drinking buddy of Dewhurst...

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Klaus_Barbie

After the Nazi conquest and occupation of the Netherlands, Barbie was assigned to Amsterdam. In 1942, after the fall of France, he was sent to Dijon in the Occupied Zone. In November of the same year, he was assigned to Lyon as the head of the local Gestapo. He was 29 years old.

He established his headquarters at the Hôtel Terminus in Lyon. Evidence suggests that he personally tortured prisoners: men, women, and children alike, by breaking extremities, using electroshock, and sexually abusing them, including with dogs, among other methods. He became known as the "Butcher of Lyon".[2]

Historians estimate that Barbie was directly responsible for the deaths of up to 14,000 people. [3][4] He arrested and tortured Jean Moulin, one of the highest-ranking members of the French Resistance and his most prominent victim.

In April 1944, Barbie ordered the deportation to Auschwitz of a group of 44 Jewish children from an orphanage at Izieu. After his operations in Lyon, he rejoined the SIPO-SD of Lyon in Bruyeres-in-Vosges, where he led a massacre in Rehaupal in September 1944.

A nazi in the senate... he'll fit right in.
