From last Wednesday's ECB rumor that ramped stocks higher and financials more than anything else, Goldman and JPMorgan have retraced it all and the rest are reverting rapidly on the total refutation of any rumors. There is one financial however that is still up 6%...

UPDATE: An hour later - BofA has tumbled over 2%, reverting rapidly from unreality...

My guess is that because Uncle Warren bought in for $5 bn the PPT give BoA special priority on days like today. BICBW.
It might be because BoA is relatively cheap compared to GS it is cheaper for the PPT to try to hold up?

Interesting indeed. Most interesting part is that their trading makes no sense. We are back to heavy knockdowns of $20 magnitude. Where do these come from? Certainly not rational traders who should be trying to get the most for their gold. Which leaves us with what?
I can't believe all the conspiracy theories on this web site. At the same time, evidence seems to point to something very bizarre in the markets.
Who can afford to lose money by repeatedly knocking down precious metals? Are they losing money? Are they real entities, or simply rampant algos that have found a loophole to sell non-existent gold for dollars that don't exist?

All it will take is the first domino to fall.
B of A or some central banking agent of theirs probably finally sold their own shares down to be in line with the rest. Better to stay with the herd than risk penalty for straying too far. That's the mentality of central banking today.
Earnings per share of -13 cents, dividend of 4 cents/share: what's not to like?
