The summit doesn't need to be post-poned, because the summit will not finish whatever it is supposed to do, so they will agree to meet again at yet another point in time to 'finalize' whatever the agreement is. Feels like it will take 1 to 3 months to have something sort of final.

Lets call a spade a spade. For the third time in 100 years, Germamy is the SOLE leader of Europe again. What they say goes. France is now going to start reinforcing the Maginot Line because it worked so well last time.
