Just out from Reuters:

And with that the PASOK majority is history.

Hmmmm..........where did I leave that shoebox full of Drachmas I bought for ten bucks? They might just prove to be useful for something after all.

A flock of Black Swans approaches...or should that be a wedge?

In case of a sudden loss of cabin pressure oxygen masks will deploy from the ceiling.

MsCreant's picture

But they are filled with nitrus oxide.

tmosley's picture

Sorry, all nitus oxide is reserved for the printing presses.  Zyclon B will be substituted.

It does seem to be accelerating.  And it looks like liquidity crunches are coming back.   Wonder how low my favorite metal is going to drop?

Market will bounce back up when G-pap leaves...but then down again when it realizes the problems are still there.

Spastica Rex's picture

The world doesn't need steenking reality; it needs faith in a system of endless wealth expansion and material bliss.

Quit harshing the world's mellow.

Good heavens! ZH is busy today!

Ralph Spoilsport's picture

This is real entertainment right here, right fucking now. ZH beats Hulu and Netflix and it's free (as in beer).

And the 30 year drops below 3%.  That's the story.  Bond traders seeing black swan?  And Italian yield curve getting ready to invert?

OT- Does Melissa Lee think it is still Halloween?  The black and orange outfit is a curious choice this morning.

Pitchman's picture

Your watching CN-BS?

The Greek people see this for what it is.  An elite money power implosion and they're done backing it.  America is just catching on.  Your government representatives are nothing more than Minions with privileges.  They serve the purveyor's of a failed rent extracting fiat currency.

That the system is revealing itself as unjust;  serving those at the top while enslaving the public can no longer be denied.

THE FED’S DEBT SLAVERY ECONOMIC MODEL is the genesis of funding for the elite money power.  Such power concentrated in the hands of so few is the most pernicious corrupting force, for which all others follow.

"Above all, we aim to break up the global banking cartel centered at the Federal Reserve, International Monetary Fund, Bank of International Settlements and World Bank."

When it comes to financial terrorism, waged against the people, the President has abdicated his Constitutional Oath and that is an act of Treason.

Tyler thanks youre the only one out there saying whats going on, and your contributors as well.

Mind you, this is all happening while Western style "Hard Money Socialists" are defending their stance by saying the Euro is just another fiat. Ha!

Not as easy as it is for Mr. Ben B, no?

Iriestx's picture

Bankers will never allow the referrendum to come to a vote.  They'll keep replacing the Greek government until they have a fully sympathetic regime.

Quintus's picture

If that doesn't work, they'll just replace the Greek people.

Tsar Pointless's picture

That's a fascinating comment.

You know, that's the difference between us serfs and the elites who rule us.

When we have a natural disaster or a fire of some similar destructive malady befall us, there will be people interviewed by news outlets who will say stuff like, "It's easier to replace material things than a person."

However, when something threatens to knock the elite down a half of a peg or one, the rallying cry is, "It's easier to replace people than illegally and unethically acquired wealth."

Quintus's picture

Just channellng Bertholt Brecht.

"Some party hack decreed that the people
had lost the government's confidence
and could only regain it with redoubled effort.
If that is the case, would it not be be simpler,
If the government simply dissolved the people
And elected another?"

disabledvet's picture

events are moving too fast. and "they're too many of them and they are big." all that matters now is your risk profile. leverage is enemy numero uno. that was the message from MF for those that are still listening. "comingling accounts" is patently criminal--and where there's smoke there's fire. moreover the fact of the matter is the US military is going to be called upon to act in some manner. with trillion dollar deficits? these matters must be investigated.

In other news: those ALGO's are sure working hard. Need proof: just before open, before computers, the S + P was down close to 3%. Immediately price was suspended, then miraculously headed higher.

Market is riggedd.

Anyone think Bernanke is going to print and/or declare "I am lender of last resort!" and send Europe a few trillion? The timing with the Fed meeting today is odd.

Robo, need some of your expertise, are we going up still?

Dr. Engali's picture

Well looks like a good time to start a war. Let's see whose oil reserve do we not control Iraq? Nope we have theirs. Libya? nope we secured theirs. Well it's either Iran or Canada. I vote we invade Canada.

Mitzibitzi's picture

Mexico has some oil, too. And they have unaccountably gotten a whole bunch of automatic weapons from somewhere, in the hands of some type of 'irregular' forces; must be preparing to invade the US!
