Greek Irwin Schiff
God Bless you Irwin
She should ask if they'll agree to a voluntary haircut on what she owes.
Yes, it is only illegal if you don't offer to pay a small percentage back after you are caught. Ask Mozilo.
It's "let's create some examples time" and scare the people.
Wait another week and they will 'arrest' a man who didn't pay EU1 in taxes. Got to cover all the angles.
Is she in line for a central bank job of some sort?
Who knew Tim Geithner had Greek relatives?
Newtie:
Wife #1 cancer = divorce
Wife #2 ms = divorce
We need the presidental election to come down with a tumor so Newtie will divorce this bitch of a race and go home.
Red that would be one hell of a Greezillian haircut right to the wood or would it be the pink??
They call that a Greek bikini wax.
Tis only a rounding error.
According to Michael Lewis's new book "Boomerang", this will take 10-12 years before it is resolved in the Greek court system, or someone wil be bribed long beforehand so she walks free and both of them stay rich. Wonder why the Germans want to burn Greece to the ground, read the book. Even the fucking monks were doing dirty deals! Atonement is still 10 miles out at sea but soon to reach the shores of Europe as a 100 foot tsunami called Mother fucking financial beatdown!
Good timing.
She will pay 100,000 Euros bail money and skip town.
Actually I have it..."on good authority" that the Special Ops extraction team is "in route" since anyone who can evade that large a dollar amount is clearly a person of great power and authority in that...is it Planet Greece?
She will pay 100,000 Euros bail money and skip town
...which is also known as a Greek indebtedness haircut.
She would have gottin' away with it too, if it weren't for those meddling kids satellites.
Ruh roh!
So the Bastille is being re-opened? Sweet, going long guillotine manufacturers.
Don't limit yourself, go for base metals! That's what they make the sharp bit out of!
Must be some french maid.
She probably didn't buy any greek bonds at the last auction.
Too bad she didn't live in America. She would have been able to buy herself a politican.
you sure it wasn't Drachma's?
HOW THE FUCK CAN YOU HAVE 48 MILLION IN UNPAID TAXES?!
ARREST THE PEOPLE SHE BRIBED! LET THEM PAY IT! and I bet there will be a lot less people taking the brides!
Timmay was moonlighting with his TurboTax. She's fine.
reminds me of last August's headline:
"GREEK GOVERNMENT VOWS TO ENDEAVOUR TO CEASE PENSION PAYMENTS TO DEAD CITIZENS "
Was her name Mitt Romney?
I'm shocked they did not give her a position as the Hellenic Republic Treasury Secretary.
Taxes are for the poor people.....
Ah Greece. The country where "dropping the soap" isn't just for prisoners...
As the country falls apart she may not mind being in jail - a secure building, given free food and medical care while her neighbors endure societal collapse.
HAHAHAHAHAHAHA!
BY THIS CRITERIA YOU SHOULD ARREST THE WHOLE FUCKING GOVERNMENT YOU JACK ASSES!!!!!!!
They will as soon as your government arrests first Blankfein, and then every single Goldman employee one by one.
Uhhh, thing is we aren't arresting any one cause we are printing!!!! We are consisently criminal in our dealings, we will paper over it!!
Oh don't worry, the feds will nail Ann Barnhardt and make an example of her.
They'll never take her alive. In fact, we may just do our Concord Bridge at her house. Have gun, will travel.
Tomorrow:
GREEK POLICE ARREST ALL GREEKS FOR EU48 MLN IN UNPAID TAXES EACH
Crisis solved.
Tomorrow:
NATO ARRESTS ALL GREEKS FOR EU48 MLN IN UNPAID TAXES EACH
Crisis solved.
Was she related to the Tan-man Mozillo??
Simple... Turbo Tax error.
You beat me to it
+1 for thinking it
Prosecution will use the "all calculations are guaranteed" as rebuttal
Imelda Marcos Lives!!!!!
By trial date, EU48 MLN will be worth pocket change of a beggar. Delay then pay is a good strategy.
Delay then pay is a good strategy.
Do you work for the FED?
Was she the wife of a Central Banker?
The Greek with EU47 million in unpaid taxes is probably pissing ouzo at this moment.
If she was a bank she would immediately get a unborn taxpayer bailout and some extra liquidity under a 4letter acronym.
Nice income...is she on a 15% tax bracket?
Since the Greek government is a criminal enterprise, I wonder what the vig is on EU48 MLN large?
it's about time. they should go after the shipping magnates, building crews, the whole country.
nobody finishes their roof in greece because it exempts them from tax while still in construction.
start seizing islands and auction them off.
She had her boobs done and hid all of it in them. The Customs people asked her to empty her pockets and she emptied her boobs instead. Shoddy job done by a phony french boobs maker. The french are better with their cheese than with silicone. In fact they make their silicone boobs like they were cups of cheese. When it matures it stinks and the cream just walks out... Thats what the Customs people sniffed and ripped off. Expensive boobs job, all in all.
Have they found the scapegoats yet? Tax evaders didn't cause this. They're just smarter than the morons who dutifully hand over the tax loot to the parasites. Hopefully she's already liquidated her bank account and has the gold and silver in a safe location so she can get out unmolested. No amount of going after tax evaders is going to remedy the cocktail napkin numbers Greece provides for "GDP" and their deficits.
This actually is pretty important. Here is why...
So many truly rich folks think they are in the "club" and can get away anything. The club might be big, but it is not that big. Many will find out the hard way when the real club members turn on them like this. 48 million is no small number and indicates she has some serious money. Isn't every day you see someone with that amount of cash get popped.
Yeah, the jury is still out on this of course. But, the arrest alone is an interesting development. Have the sharks started eating sharks yet? "Maybe" seems a reasonable answer at this point.
Likewise, Greece is just the PBS version of what is coming here in triple-X to the States.
Great, now they can put it on their books as a $48miln receivable asset and use it as collateral to borrow another $500 mill from the ECB.
I remember reading an article around the time the Euro was coming into existence and the commentator said "cheating on taxes in Greece and Italy is practically a game to them."
Cant remember where I put my cell phone. Crap my keys are missing too.
I thought soccer was the national sport of Greece... from the little reading on the net I have done it appears that tax evasion is the #1 sport.

She should had moved to US--the new tax heaven.
She paid her taxes! The checks in the mail! (Damn Greek postal service)
I heard it was 10 Trillion Euros.
How does one accrue a €48 million tax bill in a single lifetime?
by not paying taxes.
Interest and penalites compunding would probably help. Just ask a person with a credit card they can't pay how that one can rack up. Had a friend with $20,000 in credit card debt end up owing $72,000 by the time of the bankruptcy. While a creditor deserves to get enough interest to beat inflation (if you buy into the theory of the system), these rates and penalties are another matter-- usery.
Tear gas magnate?
Tear gas magnate?
She is the owner of this beauty:
