You got that right! ECB lowers reserve requirement from 2% to 1$ AND announced it will accept "A" rated collateral instead of the "AAA" standard. Then the massive flooding of Euro banks with currency. Then Obama/Dems declare class warfare over two months of no FICA payments for some taxpayers. Nero fiddled while Rome burns. Or Obama goes on a $3 Hawaiin vacation.

ron paul is a threat to the banks, and the flow of money to Washington.

I'd be very surprise, if he gets the Republican nomination.  Gingrich may to try to cut a deal with him, and make him Vice Pres, but I doubt it.

I was an Obama fan, but I'm leaning Ron Paul.  Civil liberty & Bank Accountability are my main concerns going forward, and Ron Paul speaks on those issue, unlike Obama.

It's an ideological war among the Republican class.

You have the rational Buckleyian Republicans against the irrational Tea Party Republicans.

The Tea Party movement is starting to attack Ron Paul.

http://www.examiner.com/elections-2010-in-wilmington/founder-of-tea-part...

Ron Paul as President, would not likely wage war with Iran, on big Oil's behalf.  And a lot of funding to the Tea Party is funded by Big Oil (Koch Brother).

Even Boehner is getting cock blocked by Cantor.

Both sides has been slinging mud at each other for years.  Both party are dirty.  WE should have a third path.  But the I doubt grassroot can overpower the billlions in messaging from the elite, for either of their candidate (Obama or Gingrich) especially after the Citizens v United ruling.

There is no 2 party.  It is only one party. The party of big money.

Good cop.  Bad cop. Both party serve the institution of big money.

Editorial Why Ron Paul Can Win

Thursday, December 22, 2011

– by James Jaeger

If you have been watching the news, you know that Ron Paul is now beating both Gingrich and Romney in the polls and could walk away with a win in Iowa.

Some say he could also walk away with a win in New Hampshire, and possibly even win the Republican (GOP) nomination.

For the Republican National Committee (RNC), this must be uncomfortable -- the idea that they would be forced to nominate a principled, Constitutionalist just because WE THE PEOPLE demanded it.

But here's what really terrifies them: Ron Paul is in a position to hand the election of 2012 over to Barack Obama and the Democrats because he would be a "spoiler." But even more terrifying is the fact that Dr. Paul is in a position to be much more than a "spoiler" -- he's in a position to be a "winner."

Etymology of the term SPOILER: The term "spoiler" is a derogatory term that was dreamt up by statists in the Democratic and Republican parties in order to sucker the public into continuously voting for no one outside the Establishment. In other words, if you vote your conscience, YOU are a "spoiler."

If you run on principles of your conscience and take votes away from an Establishment candidate, YOU are also a "spoiler."

Thus, since Ron Paul votes his conscience, since he rejects certain aspects of the Establishment -- such as the Federal Reserve's abuse of the monetary system and its financing of the welfare-warfare empire we have now become -- there is no way apparatchiks in the GOP will nominate Dr. Paul no matter what WE THE PEOPLE want.

And to this end, lackey pundits in the CFR-dominated, mainstream media continuously chant that Ron Paul has "no chance to get the Republican nomination." They spew this so often, it's obvious they don't believe their own lies.

But here's the joke: Ron Paul does not even need the GOP to win the general election. If he were to walk away for a third party, he would take at least 12% of the Republican vote with him. He would also take another 15% from the Independents and at least 11% from the Democrats. This would give him 38% -- enough of the vote to win the Presidency in a three-man race.

I like how these asshats presume some sort of conflict over campaign finance, and super PACs. There is no conflict. There is only the resultant corruption that stems from government control of large pools of other peoples' money. It is the result of having given consent to the coercive, violent monopoly.

Keyword is "was."

Come on man, this is PRECISELY what Ron Paul needs to happen if he's going to win in 2012.  We don't need democrats and independents to agree with Ron Paul on everything right off the bat.  What we need is an AWAKENING which is happening and this is an example of that.  Once people see how right Ron Paul is on one issue, they will slowly but surely see how he's right on everything.

Everyone that voted for Obuma back in 2008 was force fed propaganda and brainwashed into voting for him.  He was the PERFECT solution to Bush.  Black vs. white, well spoken vs. a bumbling idiot, young vs. old, "cool" vs. not, etc, etc, etc.

The method I use to wake people up is explaining how our current financial system operates and why Keynesianism is destroying the system.  Once people begin to truly grasp the concept and POWER of a free market they then begin to realize how everything Ron is saying is 100 percent accurate.

Everyone that voted for Obuma back in 2008 was force fed propaganda and brainwashed into voting for him.

Oh, come on.  This is a popular meme here, but there's virtually zero truth to it.

Most of the folks who voted for Obama did so because:

1) Even the dimmest bulbs had finally figured out that the Dubya administration had made some serious errors
2) McCain/Palin was a shitshow of a ticket

Obama sucks.  He's a glad-handed empty-suit.  He works for the financiers.  He's a Kenyan Communist who was hatched from an egg.  Etc etc etc.

But he was elected because we're trapped in the 2-party system.

That is why Ron Paul will not win the nomination, and that is why there is "long term" no political solution.

Sorry, I can't take the pledge. I resigned GOP membership back in 1991.

Censervatives are making it abundantly clear that there is no place for libertarianism or classical liberalism in the GOP. During the Cold War, conservatives and libertarians made common cause in resisting international communism regardless of party affiliation. Conservatives back then were happy to pay lip service to old-school classical liberalism, which has gone by the name of libertarianism ever since collectivist progressives appropriated the word "liberal". Since then the Cold War, conservative intellectuals have increasingly and more explicitly rejected libertarianism. So much time and so many events have passed since the end of the Cold War that the conservative movement no longer recognizes that the then-modern conservatism of Goldwater and Reagan were rooted in libertarianism: it was Reagan who said that "libertarianism is the heart and soul of conservatism". Instead, conservatism has morphed into a neo-conservatism that worships state power rather than calling for a rollback of state power. Nothing is so important to today's conservatives than the national greatness of American exceptionalism -- absolutely nothing: not civil rights, not property rights, not peace, not prosperity, not the rule of law.

The drug testing thing fascinates me.  There's no crime in having drugs in your blood or urine.  It's hard to understand what purpose is served by this sort of thing.  If it's really a big deal, you'd think they'd pass laws concerning the contents of your bloodstream.  Right now I can smoke all kinds of drugs and walk around in public without any fear of arrest.

Why not require people collecting UI to visit the police station to be searched?  At least that'd potentially catch criminals.  Anyone who went to the precinct in possession of illegal drugs could be interdicted and brought to justice right then and there.

The Deceiver in Chief is covetousness codified:

"The moment the idea is admitted into society that property is not as sacred as the laws of God, and that there is not a force of law and public justice to protect it, anarchy and tyranny commence. If `Thou shalt not covet' and `Thou shalt not steal' were not commandments of Heaven, they must be made inviolable precepts in every society before it can be civilized or made free." -- John Adams (A Defense of the American Constitutions, 1787)

He will destroy the nation. Redistribution of wealth is tyranny disguised as charity because it uses COERCION, not caring, as its driving force. Emperor Obama is the greatest threat to individual freedom of our lifetimes! He is the Teleprompter Tyrant!

Obama is not re-distributing any wealth, except to move it from its productive place within the middle-class and into the hands of his parasitic buddies in the upper 1%.

That anyone still thinks this guy is a Leftist commie out to undermine the industrial heartland is utterly beyond comprehension. Start paying closer attention, or stay out of the way.

Get used to it - TOTUS will get four more years. Can ZH and readers not launch an agressive pro-Ron Paul campaign, based on facts and correct analysis?

I cannot believe he held a press conference and paraded people on stage with him; how UN-Presidential.

And, late to every news conference he has ever done.

Thank you dear leader for martial law.  Have any of us been rounded up yet?

The Manchurian candidate says, take the chip and I will be your pres,  I'll veto the bill,  I am not just a shill,  and you'll take it and you will confess.

He will undoubtedly go down as the biggest duffus Prez in the history of the US. I can't imagine, in the future, anybody being worse, or doing more harm to the founding principles of the US than B. Hussein Soetero. The guy makes me sick to my stomach with his lying, pompous bullshit.

This Administration does not even want to prosecute fraudsters too heavily for fear of causing a massive loss of confidence in the financial system and subsequently a massive crash.

"I've talked to a lot of people who worked for Obama at the grassroots level. One of them said to me, 'Never again. I will never be fooled again by a politican,'" Damon told the publication. "You know, a one-term president with some balls who actually got stuff done would have been, in the long run of the country, much better."

My guess for TOTUS drinking game keyword is "I'm f*cking Matt Damon."
