"I have no knowledge of where the money is.  We oversee and regulate the market, but the market is too complex to oversee and regulate."

Feel free to join and share.

Simply put if an executive or banker, either through knowing action or inaction is found criminality responsible for the theft and loss of more than 1 million dollars of clients, customers, stockholder, or bondholders money, assets, or property, said executive and or banker will in addition to whatever other criminal penalties assessed, have his/her hands surgically removed.

i-dog's picture

If hacking the hands off with a wild swing of an axe (or chainsaw) counts as "surgically removed", then I agree.

tarsubil's picture

I was thinking kukri but that might be too clean.

The "Honorable" Jon S. Corzine.

HA!  The US is so done.  The guy is a thug.

BTW, nice mullet Jon.  Welcome to 1986!

Hard1's picture

Agree, can't believe they still put the "honorable" after his name.  I want to become one of these honorable thugs.  As I read yesterday, Give me a gun and I will rob a bank. Give me a bank and I will rob the world.   I swear! under their honor system!

Yep.....Reminds me of the CFTC hearing in March of 2010...when Murphy was gonna spill the beans about the JPM traders manipulating the silver market thru naked shorting on the LME....it's important testimony (oops....we're experiencing technical difficulties...we'll bring back the broadcast when the discussion suits our puppet masters)

flacon's picture

Exactly what I was thinking - Bill Murphy. Wasn't it the same network too - CSPAN? And I've been listening ALL DAY to Sommers... and when it finally comes time for the drunken bastard to speak... they cut us out! FUCK YOU CSPAN!

tarsubil's picture

Yeah and how he worked so hard in reducing it and fixing the mess he inherited. Alas, Jon's courageous efforts were too little too late. Poor guy.

Haywood Jablowme's picture

THESE ASS-WIPES IN CONGRESS CAN'T EVEN ASK A SINGLE FUCKING LEGIT QUESTION BECAUSE THEY EITHER HAVE NO FUCKING CLUE WHAT'S GOING ON OR THEY'VE BEEN PAYROLLED BY THE BANKSTAS TO DUMB THEIR QUESTIONS DOWN.

DUMB FUCKS DON'T EVEN KNOW THE BROKER DEALER END IS "REGULATED" BY THE SEC.  THESE ASS MUNCHES PROBABLY DON'T EVEN KNOW WHAT A FUCKING BROKER-DEALER IS.

OFF WITH THEIR HEADS.  ALL OF THESE FUCKING BITCHES.

Bananamerican's picture

dumb CFTC bitch Sommers' job is to use the word "appropriate" every 2 minutes...

CAPTURED

redpill's picture

She knows nothing anyway, she's only there because that chickenshit Goldman Butt Buddy Grassley "recused" himself so he wouldn't have to lie under oath to protect the club.

Fuck these regulatory agencies, they don't do jack shit because they are all bought and paid for by the squid.  Shut them all down, at least that way no one has a false sense of security.

"I have no knowledge of where the money is.  We oversee and regulate the market, but the market is too complex to oversee and regulate."

Then simplify it as part of the overseeing of it.

There, that wasn't so hard, huh?

The whole complexity issue is precisely so the banks can hide their immoral and illegal activities.

karzai_luver's picture

So SO true, if you can't explain it to your avg 8 year old then it's just a smoke screen for FRAUD!

When I was in third grade we studied Indians.  We made "Kachina masks" by getting empty 3 gallon cardboard ice cream containers and gluing feathers made from construction paper to them.

On the last Friday of every month, the Nuclear War Air Raid siren would test and we would all go to the back of the room and get our Kachina Masks, place them over our heads and hide under our desks.

"I can't see the bomb so the bomb can't see me."

I learned an important lesson there in third grade, on my knees under the desk.

upWising's picture

Oh, yea, I forgot to say that the Nuclear War Air Raid siren STILL, some forty years later, sounds at 10 am on the last Friday of the month.  I somehow imagine that the third graders are STILL hiding under the desks with boxes on their head.

This is a GREAT country.

Bananamerican's picture

our sirens in SoCal have been allowed to rot in place...

I kind of miss them...THE most apocalyptically mournful sound i've ever heard...like the asynchronous ghosts of dead machines...

the world came into focus when they came on...

Dave Thomas's picture

I thought they sounded that siren to remind the townsfolk it was Wal-Mart friday. Funny.
