Watch The GOP Presidential Forum Live From South Carolina

Tyler Durden's picture

Since it will be a slow news day until futures open in a few hours, readers who are locked indoors can waste it by listening to the oddly named Palmetto Freedom Forum which is basically another GOP presidential debate where candidates will take to the stage one at a time to substantively answer questions on their views from three panelists: South Carlolina Sen. Jim DeMint, Rep. Steve King of Iowa, and Dr. Robert George, founder of the American Principles Project and McCormick Professor of Jurisprudence at Princeton University. The participating candidates will include the major GOP contenders: Rep. Michelle Bachmann, Herman Cain, Newt Gingrich, Rep. Ron Paul, and Mitt Romney. As Townhall observes: "Sen. DeMint, et al's questioning is sure to challenge the participants on the hard-hitting issues, and should serve as a great preview to this Wednesday's GOP debate." That said, Rick Perry, and his Bank of America supporters, will be materially missing so no hard-hitting answers from the Texan.

Mr. Paul, both of them, are appealing to the Xtian voters when they seek to limit a woman's right to body sovereignty.  I'd be more open to listening to their argument(s) were there a penalty enacted on the sperm donor, not solely on the female who bears the unwanted fetus.

If they would perhaps run on a platform that mandates the sperm donor's FULL MONETARY SUPPORT of enforced full-term pregnancies, we might have an interesting topic for discussion, but to leave ALL responsibility & punishment on the female's shoulders when the male refuses to wear protection is a very immature argument, on that reeks of "religiousity" & the viewpoint that females are second class citizens, not subject to equal treatment under laws.

Your post is appreciated SheHunter.

Yes, the South would be better off as an independent republic.

ATTENTION SHEEP: Abe Lincoln suspended the constitution before your grandparents were born, and the phony-ass "congress" we see today was brought "back" in to session with Executive Order #2. Executive orders are not constitutional, and only used during Martial Law......which means....that we are still in martial law. America is a dictatorship, and your vote means exactly jack shit.  The courts are Admiralty Jurisdiction, the laws are statutes, and you've been had. You'll have a "choice" between puppet #1 and puppet#2, and the end result is most likely already decided (Rick Perry - Builderburg Approved for 2012)

Quit wasting your energy and go have fun with your kids. (Or drink if you don't have any)

Anyone recall the quiet 6am commercial campaign for the Church of Jesus Christ Latter Day Saints.....or mormons, the last time Romney was running.........................quickly pulled as he faded from the race.  Anyone want to elect him and watch a cult get voted into the largest legitamization-endorsement-marketing-bonanza-fucking-fiasco??????????????  Not me boys.    Want to see the Mormon Corporation visiting the White House or running adds everyone saying that if their way of life is good enough for Presidency that it just has to Full of Family Values and other various bullshit?  Fuck that.

the mormons would fit right in, with their masonic symbols on their holy temples, & their belief in a stateside "zion" - just ask Glenn Beck, when he gets back from his Israel rally.

Tyler(s).  Funny you say..."That said, Rick Perry, and his Bank of America supporters, will be materially missing so no hard-hitting answers from the Texan."

Hey, I like RP too but we need a candidate that can carry this thing to the finish and I'm not certain Ron can.  I think they made a mistake by not having dady step aside while junior takes the reins.  JR is much better at defending himself, more articulate, comes across as more pragmatic and his youth says he has the energy to stay in the game.  I do have some problems with hard core libertarian as it's very flawed at the core, but we don't have time for that debate...I mean I don't have time.

And when you get a chance Tyler(s), take down that F-KN Obummer adertisement on the left side of your page.  Surely you guys haven't sold out?

sorry to say, Rand Paul is NOT Ron Paul. His positions are similar but he doesn't have the same track record as his father.

I want a President that listens to the Elders of the Church....makes donations of a fixed % of his salery, and waits patiently to see if the Elders deem memebers of his own immedidate family worthy of attending the secretive wedding ceremony should any of them get married....thats right folks, if the Elders are not happy, they will not attend unless they take make-up classes and then come before the group and declare they strayed but are back on track.  That's the kind of stong, clear thinking we need at the top, a person that would allow such a level of psychological manipulation in their daily lives.    Be successful in business elsehere, make a difference, help people, be a leader....just dont drag the Presidency or what's fucking left of it through all that bullshit.

I'd rather stab myself in the eye with a dull fork than listen to any of these people.
