Watch Live Coverage Of The Fall Of Gadaffi's Regime Via Sky News

Tyler Durden's picture

With local American stations too busy to cover what appears to be the end of the Gadaffi regime, here is a live feed form Sky News which inexplicably has a penchant for covering live breaking critical news. Since everyone is blatantly lying, on both sides of the conflict, we leave it to readers to decide what is actually happening.

And from Al Jazeera:

Be nice if they'd give him some books on, oh say, non Keynesian economics! Nah..too dull and in his handler's minds unrelated to his job title, I'd guess.

Fox News looks like a bunch of pigs rolling in their own shit, now that Tripoli has fallen. Just a few months ago they were suggesting Obama was running an illegal war (which he was) and that we should stop assisting the rebels. Now that the Rebels have succeeded, everything seems to be gravy. What a bunch of shit.

who watches fox to get news anyway?  They are just a bunch of actors/propagandists regurgitating talking points from their handlers.

It's amazing that we have to get most of our info from these propaganda machines (when we don't get it from ZH). Freedom of the Press..to be controlled by people who will doctor the news to fit their agenda.

I try to protect my mind from these propaganda machinists so I limit their influence.  Most of these 'news' corps. are owned by people that have vested interests in health, war, prison, energy, and drug industrial complexes, they're always trying to get you to 'buy into' something.  It's like a 24 hour infomercial.

RT is reporting that this all psy ops misinformation, that the "rebels" in the square are really Tripoli residents celebrating that they pushed back the rebel invaders.  The RT story makes more sense to me as Gadhafi armed the citizens of Tripoli months ago and there were even pro-Gadhafi rallies in the city that numbered hundreds of thousands of people.

Who do we believe?

This is going to be hilarious seeing khadafy and his sons in prison in the Hague. I dont understand why they didnt flee or die fighting. Hanging out with Robert Mugabee with a ton of gold seems a better option than going to the Hague.

Can anyone make sense of this decision?

Thanks for pointing out the real motivation for this "humanitarian" invasion of yet another nation.

Imteresting how these "humanitarian" invasions only occur in oil producing nations.

This is the first "popular" uprising I've heard of that formed a "central bank" before it had enough members for a circle jerk.  The first official act of that central bank will be to take delivery of Gaddafi's gold; the second will be to deposit it in London and NY  . . . unless of course Gaddafi had time stash it or move it -- he had ALOT of time.

Good riddance to Ghadaffi, if in fact he is finally gone.

I just hope they will be able to replace him with something better.

It will be interesting to see what they find in the Libyan central bank. Gold? Or gilded tungsten? Or perhaps it will just be "empty". Remember the Clint Eastwood movie "Kelly's Heroes"?

It's running wall to wall on the BBC. Events moving very fast. The BBC guy in that 5 star hotel in Tripoli says nearly all their minders + the staff have left. Except the chef who rustled up a feed for the 30 or so reporters stuck there. Looks legit. Both sons now in custody. Big guy nowhere to be seen.

Great

So NATO helped Libyan rebels overthrow Ghadafi & his government & bring freedom to Libya & its people...

Now, what is their response if Bahrainian rebels, and/or Saudi Arabian rebels, and/or Kuwaiti rebels decide to overthrow their governments?

If they don't support those rebels, NATO risks being seen in the Arab world as selective manipulators & certainly not liberators and purveyors of freedom & democracy...as well as perhaps inciting & inviting more terrorist attacks against the west.

If they do support rebels in those other countries in overthrowing existing governments (which the US helped prop up for decades), they risk being exposed to the world as double-crossers who can't be trusted and who aren't guided by principle but by expediency.

If you play with fire, you might get burned...
