Wheels rarely come off all at once. First there's a slight, almost undetectable wobble. Then a bit more forceful shaking begins. Soon it becomes harder to control the vehicle's direction. At that point the people in the back seat start screaming, and the driver starts cursing and fighting for control. THEN the wheels come off and everyone dies.
The only opportunity to change the scenario is to pull to the side of the road at the first sign of trouble and inspect the wheel lugs. Possibly call for a mechanic. We're well past that now. I can hear the screams from the back seat quite clearly.

The fact of the matter is, that England is absolutely isolated in Europe, because everything what is good for the City is bad for Europe. The other EU nations whih have not the Euro are simply saying to the Brits. You know what, we do not have something like the City in our place. We have nothing in common with UK as far as that is concerned. As a matter of fact in all of Europe the City is a synonym for greedy banksters.
Have in mind that the City is appx good for 30% of the GDP in the UK. And now the EU wants to stop the unproductive money shufflers, (no better debt shufflers) from continuing with their destructive work. The Tobin tax is hanging like giant sword over England. If it is effectively introduced in the continental European stock markets it would stop immediately all market rigging there (especially stocks ) by the City and Wall Street. Simply because the manipulating via the High Frquency Trading machines would be too expensive. Thousands of deals per nanosecond ( nanosecond = one millionth part of a second) can add up quite a bit even if only a tax of 0.01 % is introduced as its the plan.
And this is what Farage is fearing. I can understand that England is fighting with everything they have - hope not with their arms ;, because the collapse of the city is comparable with the death of the auto industry in Germany.
But there is a difference and this is important. An individual can decide whether he wants to buy a car from this producer or that one, but he has no chance to avoid the evil impact on his personal life triggered by the former Masters of the Universe in Wall Street and the City.

I see no such divide between the Anglosphere and Europe. If anything the Anglosphere is already positioned to be the financial and military branch of the New World Order. Europe will be a quaint vacation destination along with some science/R&D and cultural output. Europe is also serving the critical task of assimilating Muslims. The process of destroying traditional Islam and socially engineering the cultures of the Middle East to be conducive to one world government is a long one. The ground work is already laid with the more resistant governments being knocked off one by one in recent years.
If you control a nation's (compulsory public) schools for 30 years you will control that nation forever.

we might also add that UK is free to leave EU whenever they want. That may convince the big army of english euroskeptics, most living like it's always 1945, to start targeting their own politicians because it's them who are preventing any referendum to happen. it's them who think that being a member of EU is a good idea. there is no EU conspiracy, it's the sovereign choice of UK to be part of the EU.
the bottom line is the non-UK europhiles are not saddened by the prospect of UK leaving, quite the contrary, and you'd know why if you know your little EU history. UK has always played the role of a brake to further integration, they look like they're in to prevent rather than to actively participate. so, they won't be missed and I hope Mr. Farage gets his own nationalistic dream come true, but that is better attained making so that UK leaves the EU not working to break the whole thing up. that's a disgusting stance in the view of non-UK viewers.

the funny thing about Nigel Farage is that every time he speaks I have a background noise in my head about some little known facts about him:
- "you are unelected..." -> he speaks about PMs elected by their parliaments
- "Germany dominated EU..." -> his own experience with his new German wife? Two of his childrens have a German passport!
- "You are so ugly..." -> yes, a directly elected PM is usually more handsome than let's say Rumpuy, but is he better?
- "Belgium has to break up..." -> hemm, what about not telling other sovereign nations what to do?

I find it odd that everyone is so bearish on the dollar... if it's such a crappy currency, then why doesn't everyone just dump it - get into physical assets or something else? My money says the dollar is fine in the short and medium term... afterall, you can't buy stuff with gold. That has to count for something. And even if the money supply has doubled in the past 5 years, the inflation hawks would have you believing the dollar is worth 10% it's 2001 value and that gold is going to $30,000 an ounce. If nothing else, I think it is safe to assume that if everyone knows something, and is talking about it, then it's too late to act on that information anyways. Better to cut your losses and look for a better investment. My life policy has always been to avoid things that are pushed on you. And gold is definitely pushed. I think it's the big play of the big 5 for the decade. They drum up inflation, fiat currencies, get everyone piling into gold, fleece them, then dump 2000 metric tonnes on the market and send gold to $800 an ounce (it was $400 in 2004 which would be proportional considering the money supply). The final test is this - go out on the street and try to sell some stranger an ounce of gold for $1500. Or $500. They won't buy it, unless they're some fiery eyed crazy who stores baked beans in his cellar alongside his AM radio... and crazies don't have a good track record when it comes to investing.
