Take a look at the metal you are holding... your gold is backed by the gold in the coin/bar/jewelry! The US dollar FIAT paper money is nothing more than a piece of Monopoly paper issued by a private bank called the Federal Reserve for which the US government has made legal tender. It is backed by nothing! In fact, it is worse than nothing. At least if the Fed stopped printing more of these nothings, those dollars may maintain some value. But, they keep printing and monetizing dollars at a rediculous rate. Where is the journalistic integrity? the research?

Gold would collapse if the western credit empires were taken out of the equation - but since they run this sick show I am not betting that would happen anytime soon.
For instance Ireland could easily pay more taxes if all mortgage debt was destroyed - consumption taxes could rise to protect the currency and people would be free to move from their former debt prisons when houses are sold for their real cash value and not their credit inflated value.
However they want to impose grinding deflation to protect their empires - linking the money supply to their failed investments.
These credit lords will do anything including the destruction of the remaining small part of the real productive economy so that they can continue to give out credit opium to the masses.

There is media bias ... but it manifests itself through the producers and editors. The average person has never met a local or national newsperson. Ever wonder why?
The talking heads on TV fall somewhere below a smart Irish Setter on the intelligence scale.
The average producer/editor usually stops their intellectual development in journalism school. If you have more common sense than a college freshman, you can easily outhink everyone in the media. What you can rarely overcome is the ingrained "socialist" bias of the producers. Presuming you buy into the axiom, "If you are not a liberal at age 20; you have no heart. If you are not a conservative by age 40; you have no brain." - you'll understand why television editors and producers are a small, chummy circle.
However, the talking heads hate that they are told what to say. If you can build a relationship with a news anchor (barely above dealing with an insurance adjuster on the stomach churning scale) and become a "trusted source" ... then manipulating the mediam is easier than teaching the Irish Setter to heel.
