Wikileaks Releases Entire 65 Gigabyte Uncensored Cablegate Archive (With Or Without Bank Of America Disclosure)

Tyler Durden's picture

Looks like Wikileaks is not waiting to see how litigation with the Guardian turns out and is set on doing all it can to bring the world to the brink of, what's that word again, oh yes, war. And a free Zero Hedge hat to the first guy or gal (the latter gets a choice of ZH thong instead) to discover whatever it is that Wiki may or may not have had on Bank of America. Something tells us not many people will be sleeping at the Department of State tonight.

From a just released tweet by @WikiLeaks

Full, unencrypted, Cablegate2 archive:

Cut and paste the following URL into a "magnet" compatible Bittorrent download client:

magnet:?xt=urn:btih:AUHKVFRXREM7DCVK54MBDBGHQNPHLG5J

Or for older Bittorrent clients:

http://88.80.16.63/torrent/cablegate/cablegate-201108300212.7z.torrent

The files are compressed with "7zip"(http://www.7-zip.org/) and unpack to 60Gb.

If you have 60Gb or more of web-server space, unpack the material and tweet a link to it, prefixed by #wlmir

IF you downlaoded the encrypted file we announced previously, you don't have to download the unencrypted torrent Instead, decrypt the encrypted file, name it cablegate-201108300212.7z and put it into your torrent client's download directory. Then tell your client to add the torrent at http://88.80.16.63/torrent/cablegate/cablegate-201108300212.7z.torrent and it will be automatically seeded.

Yeah I am pretty sure our "Federal Family" got to him.  Nothing like a big fat bribe to have you give up on your principles.  He was bought off and then erased everything.

Don’t think of it as the federal government but as your “federal family.”

In a Category 4 torrent of official communications during the approach and aftermath of Hurricane Irene, the Federal Emergency Management Agency has repeatedly used the phrase “federal family” when describing the Obama administration’s response to the storm.

MER did some awful things(??) and they were assimilated into the fabric of BAC so that if those things became known it would be too late to do anything about it since BAC could not be brought down (TBTF) and the worst case is simply to resolve it ..... or free MER, BAC is bad.

Either way were are going to need at least a few trillion more to contain this mess until the Great Intervention.

Perhaps I’ve been out of school too long, or out of the US for far too many years, but I have questions about what constitutes logic and analysis among many who comment here.

In any article related to Wikileaks/Assange, it normally takes but half a dozen posts before the word “psyop” appears. Again, I’ve been away so must have missed it, but when was Julian Assange granted his monopoly on secret spilling? I’ll bet if Teddy Roosevelt was in the White House he’d break up this whole secrets thing in a jiffy and open the business to honest competitors like Webster Tarpley, Alex Jones, Jesse Ventura and Max Keiser. Give the whistleblowers choice, that’s what I say. Then them really juicy secrets would start flowing!

As it is we’re stuck with this somewhat diffident, allegedly dissolute, and definitely pasty white Aussie-Euro as the Gatekeeper and Official Vetter of everything we already “know” to be true, and damn if he isn’t spilling it then it has to tell you something, at least if one is “awake”. I mean, first, the secrets have to exist, because anything anyone can imagine simply has to be real. Second, someone who has access to the real dirt must be able to provide documents to the Gatekeeper. Third, the Gatekeeper has to then filter what secrets really can be released and what cannot.

The train of “logic” is this:

1) Anything I can imagine is real.

2) Somebody out there wants to spill the beans.

3) Per International Copyright Laws that somebody can only turn those documents over to Julian Assange.

4) Assange has received said incriminating documents.

5) He is sandbagging.

6) His failure to release the dirt proves he is a psyop or coopt or just a stooge.

Is that about right? It has to be right, because otherwise the implications are too unsettling. For instance, if the secrets don’t exist then that means not everything one can imagine is real. Second, if really juicy secrets do not exist, then it means the world is a whole lot more banal and boring than one might like. Third, if Assange did not have a secrets’ monopoly, then somebody could just hand secrets to somebody else, especially to someone who already champions one’s favorite conspiracy. One shudders to think that if a whistleblower could in fact just send his data to Webster Tarpley, Max Keiser, Alex Jones, or even---heaven forbid---Zerohedge, the fact that not one of these outlets has published one single smoking gun document proves beyond the shadow of a doubt that all of those entities are just CIA/Mossad/FSB/MI6/CHAOS/SPECTRE psyops. Damn, it really is a conspiracy!

Or maybe the man releases only what he can get his hands on.  Until any of you do a better job, cut the man some slack.

(Wikileaks has released some damning, explosive, embarrassing and important documents.  It may not be what some of you are looking for, but don't expect him to have access to everything.  Enough has been released to give all reason to pause, and then demand investigations and force accountability.  If you find fault for what, according to you, he has failed to produce, then hang your own shingle out there let the whistleblowers come to you.)

Tyler, i think the headline is misleading:

The torrent u linked to is the unencrypted 'xyz_z.gpg', just 557 MB in size.

The magnetic link

magnet:?xt=urn:btih:AUHKVFRXREM7DCVK54MBDBGHQNPHLG5J

points to unencrypted 'xyz_z.gpg': cablegate-201108300212.7z

which is  557 MB in size, NOT 65 gig.

Most textviewers can't handle the filesize, as it is  1,61 Gig big.

U can use Large Text File Viewer 5.2 ( http://www.swiftgear.com/ltfviewer/features.html ).

As many as possible should seed it and u dont need a new harddisk :-)

From "2008\12\08HONGKONG2170.html"

"Summary: The Hong Kong government's third quarter economic report, released November 21, confirmed that Hong Kong has officially slipped into a recession, with seasonally adjusted growth falling by 0.5 percent, after a drop of 1.4 percent in the second quarter of 2008."

Sunshine is the best disinfectant.  Let the truth out so out politicians will have to hire a bunch more staffers to generate a whole new generation of lies to cover up what's leaking.  Should be fun to watch.  Seriously, who would take a politician or government bureaucrat at his word about anything, particluarly confidentiality.  Knowledge is power, and why bother to have power unless you can use it.

CIA is into everything. WIKILEAKS was/is being used by Obama/Hilary as an excuse for an internet kill-switch. Ultimately, they want to abolish the second ammendment and take away our guns. Or make it completely impossible for you to buy them. Soon we'll all be on the "No Buy" list. Especially if you're ex-military.

Why bother downloading it. Wikileaks releases are in general very lame and uninteresting. Wait until someone searches and finds the interesting bits, this is all way over hyped from both the government, wikileaks, and everyone else. Whatever...
