Here’s a question that might have you pondering: Is gold a commodity? More importantly, are we doing a disservice to the gold industry by calling gold a commodity? These may sound like silly...

Agree, word clouds are currently in vougue, but they're really a very crude way of conveying information because all context is lost.

Yeah, I like how we've "been fighting deflation this entire time", but don't worry, because "inflation is now on its way down".

And "the subprime housing problem is contained", "a recession will be avoided", "housing price growth will flatten over the coming months"...

It's one lie after another.

Well...anything is possible.  However, with the door on Lloyd Blankfein's closet hanging by one hinge, and the totally depraved and raging USD studman making niche adult movies on Wall Street this afternoon and tomorrow, it is pretty tough to figure how that will happen...as the greatest crowded trade of all time unravels.

Sell everything save for the USD now...ask questions later....I suspect.  For I do not believe that even helmet wearing NYSE floor traders are actually going to wait to be saved by President Zero later tonight.  I think even bankers have that one figured out.

the finances of the federal government are

turning and turning into the widening gyre

the falcon cannot hear the falconer

things fall apart

the center cannot hold

mere anarchy is loosed upon the world

the ceremony of innocence is drowned

the best lack all conviction, while the worst

are full of passionate intensity

thanks and enjoy your lunch...

The Fed will never be abolished.

Ft. Knox will never be audited.

If anything the Pyramid Ponzi Scheme of Fractional Reserve Lending is going to expand even bigger.

In fact, my prediction is that the rest of the world, including emerging economies, will soon adopt the Fed model and start cranking up new securitizations and derivatives.

Nothing is going to change.

Nothing ever will.

Especially after today, where ESPN forks over another $15 billion for 8-yr. rights to the NFL.

The sheep don't care about stocks.  They only care about the NFL right now.

The Bernank-Paulson-Geithner triumvirate has already initiated the process that is going to turn us Japanese, bitchez.

The Bernank is large and in charge of the massive destructive policies now underway, with ZIRP until 2013 as just the appetizer.

They had a chance to let the forest fire rage on, and burn out all the dead scrub and dead trees that served as kindling for future fires, but they decided to bail out their friends, instead, which only temporarily stopped the inferno (wait until we all get to see the next one - epic won't be suitable to describe it).

Nikkei from 40,000 to 8,700 in 22 years, despite Japan pouring more concrete and asphalt, and spending more on infrastructure projects than any other nation on earth (yes, including China)...

Good luck to the buy and hold equity bagholders in the U.S., playing at the world's most creatively dishonest and ingeniously thieving casino that are "stock markets," who are now underwater in NOMINAL terms since 1999 and UNDERWATER IN REAL TERMS SINCE 1994!

I'm sure you won't suffer the Nikkei Ginsu. Keep the faith, with The Bernank, Geithner & Obama (or whatever puppet that replaces him/them) in charge. /sarc
