Not everyone wants to play FIFA 14 on PlayStation 4, Xbox One, PlayStation 3 or Xbox 360. The number of people that want to play the new FIFA in mobile devices is increasing every year. EA Sports have released details about the upcoming release of FIFA 14 for mobile devices that run Android and iOS.
Building attack and scoring amazing goals has never been more intuitive with all-unique and creative touch controls. For FIFA 14 on mobile devices, the game will feature unique, new creative controls where you can touch the screen to select players, tap the screen to place the ball, and swipe in the back half of the field to shoot, according to Pocket Gamer. Now you can position your entire team at all times instead of just one or two players, enabled by the new controls of FIFA 14 on mobile. With an improved console-like interface, users will enjoy the authenticity and innovation that the FIFA franchise is known for.
FIFA 14 is larger and sleeker than any previous iOS/Android entry. Over 30 real-world leagues are now included, with over 300 teams and 16000 players, complete with photos and accurate statistics. To pay homage to the global focus of the game, the mobile version of FIFA 14 will be available in five different languages (English, French, German, Italian and Spanish) - a first for the franchise. The menus will look closer to the console versions' front end. Big features like online play and FIFA Ultimate Team will be joined by other new modes. The classic virtual buttons will still be available from the options menu as it happened last year.
Naturally, mobile devices don't have the same power as consoles and PCs, so don't expect too many of the players to resemble their virtual or real life counterparts. All in all, FIFA 14 is a brilliant and expansive addition to the football franchise. It looked gorgeous on an iPad's screen, and it's certainly a game that you won't want to miss if you are a footy fan.
What we can tell you now, is that FIFA 14 is also on the way to mobile devices, with EA confirming that iOS and Android versions will be available on iPhone, iPad, iPod touch, on Google Play and one the Amazon Appstore in Autumn 2013.
