Apple is under $500, which as most know by now means the risk of a sudden market halt, especially on the Nasdaq is high to quite high. And while the broader market has yet to open, we already have gotten the first hints that today may be a very "glitchy" day. Moments ago the CBOE (the first exchange to reported early glitches last week [6]) announced that "Some users have reported delayed or no market data from CBOE Streaming Market (CSM). Between 7:00 and 7:13 am CFE CBOE Streaming Market (CSM)] proprietary market data system was experiencing issues. Users of CSM may not have seen market data or may have seen market data delays." Right now the CSM appears to be fixed, but if it was on the fritz that early on, we dread to think what will happen when NYSA Arca joins the fray and when the SMP quote blasts itself to death once again.
