Just before New Year's Day, as we previously reported [2], Russia's city of Volgograd, located in close proximity to Sochi where the Winter Olympics begin in a few weeks, was rocked by two powerful suicide bombings, the first of which took place in its train station - one of Russia's largest. At least 14 people were killed. Yesterday, footage released by Lifenews.ru shows the suicide bomber as he approaches the train station, and then explodes as he crosses the metal detectors. Up close and personal, not for the faint of heart.
