Fort Lee Army Base On Lockdown - Active Shooter (Update: "All Clear" Given)

UPDATE: An “all clear” was issued shortly before 10 a.m., according to Fort Lee media relations. No other information at this time.

Active shooter incident reported at CASCOM HQ, Bldg. 5020. All personnel enact active shooter protocols immediately. Post on lockdown.

According to Facebook:

“An active shooter incident has been reported on Fort Lee at CASCOM HQ, Bldg. 5020.

 

All personnel should enact active shooter protocols immediately. The installation is being locked down until further notice. More info to follow.”

 

CASCOM stands for Combined Arms Support Command.

 

"We’ve had an active shooter incident," said Stephen Baker, a post spokesman. "The installation is locked down... it is still active," he said at 9:34 a.m.
