Maybe it's just me but I recall gold getting smacked down every morning around 7:30am in the futures market for YEARS, which then carried over into the cash open. Now, if they can manipulate the price of gold like that, do you think it would be easier or harder for them to manipulate the price of BTC, given it's 30 times smaller?

Prices NEVER adjusted downward to find new tenants- not even a little bit. They just stayed vacant. And Louis was like "How the Hell is this possible?"
I suspect there is something similar going on with residential housing. Plenty of inventory, no price adjustment.
Also, I'd be looking at BlackRock and other "institutional" buyers, not just at the home builders. Somewhere in here I'll bet there's collusion between them.
