I am serious. I attended a conference on the smartgrid a while back. A representative from the Post Office announced that the USPS is buying an entire new fleet of electric vehicles. And the beauty would be that they would stabilize the grid. You know, when they were plugged in, their batteries could be used to power the grid - just in case it needed it - like in the dark of night when nobody uses electricity. I can't recall whether GM was going to build the new fleet or not.
Earlier Tyler had posted about the massive new USPS deficits. Go figure.
Tyler also started using that phrase "circular firing squad." I hadn't heard that in ages. USPS meet GM. GM meet USPS. The windmill and car battery folks are invited tot he party as well.
There was this fella who shot his TV because Bristol Palin wasn't eliminated on Dancing with the Stars this week. He ended up in a 15-hour standoff with the swat team, so you have better ease up on violent acts of social criticism aimed at your TV. Big brother is watching.
Nope. POS.
I swear on my inlaws' graves that I will never buy a GM product.
And now on to people who are already dead. A drink to Henry Ford! God rest his inventive soul!
LOL, I like how you used the "inlaws".
Happy with my Audi S5

There will be some interest in it at first with the media hype then the real investors that want exposure to the industry will just buy ford.
Until Uncle Sam gets rid of its remaining 25% holding!
And the UAW medical trust gets to dump its shares to an unsuspecting public.
It has to hold up long enough for something else to get the public's attention since the Dancing With the Stars final is next week.
I thought GETCO had instructions to gun it no matter what.
They have to wait long enough for retail investors to pile in with frothy panic before the shorts come out in earnest. 5 Days.
I'll bet you that tomorrow the stock price finishes lower than the IPO price
Not until after Thanksgiving. The Pilgrims and all.
Terrorists 1, GM 0
I am so FRICKIN' tired of hearing about this IPO - over, over, and over again on Bloomberg, CNBS. Shut the fuck up about it already!
Stop going to Bloomberg and CNBC?? It a government mandate that they push it what do you expect?

They Can't Shut the Fuck Up
The idiot cable dilemma: 24 hours of dead air to fill...

All IPO's are not even offered to the public, they are private
Wealth redistribution to the most worthy per the standards of the wealthy. An exclusive circle jerk coming out party, pun absolutely intended.
Sadly, its probably going to be quite some time, as it gets added to indexes and thereby mutual and ET funds...
Also, blind optimism, opaque operations/finances, etc will take some time to play out...
