My suggestion is to contact your merchants, mostly the ones who may have some US fronted clientele, to have consumer awareness on the expect glitches if using the US post service, but in general is  a good idea for a  merchant to do it, no matter which postal service you are using and no matter in which country, they are simple getting slower.
