EU Has Depleted Its Military Stockpiles In Supplying Ukraine: Borrell

Fresh statements by EU foreign Policy chief Josep Borrell wherein he urged greater European investment in joint defense has confirmed some are in panic mode about the ability of countries to defend themselves after 'sacrificing' their own arms for Ukraine. 

Crucially he acknowledged the weapons stockpiles of many European countries have been "depleted" and that this should serve as a "wake-up call" for ramping up defense spending.
