Multiple local news organizations are reporting that a gunman equipped with helmet and a GoPro camera has taken five people hostage inside a convenience store in Toulouse, France not far from the airport.
Early reports suggested that the gunman had taken five hostages. But the Telegraph reports that this figure has recently been revised to four.
According to one local newspaper, all the hostages are women. Police aren't treating the incident as a terrorist attack; they said they believe the gunman took hostages following an armed robbery gone awry.
