WB7: I like the Mark Twain quote very much. There is no point in trying to predict if history will repeat itself. But the parallels warrant thoughtful consideration. There are so many analogies that can be drawn to the Weimar Republic, I recommend everyone take an hour or two to learn what happened and how the general populace behaved under a great deal of economic  stress and national anxiety.

I was playing with the Weimar images over the weekend and felt something was missing. Then we had the next series of events and it began to resonate very clearly.

Forget all your troubles friends...life is a cabaret.
