At this point it is certain: the Fed is determined to baffle them with bullshit.

9:05: Atlanta Fed President Dennis Lockhart on the US economic outlook. Q&A scheduled. Mr. Lockhart is not currently a voting member of the FOMC.
9:30: Chicago Fed President Charles Evans on “The Role of Government in Financial Literacy
”. No discussion of current economic conditions or policy, and no Q&A. Mr. Evans will also appear on CNBC’s “Closing Bell” at 15:15 today, where he will discuss the economy and monetary policy. Mr. Evans is a voting member of the FOMC this year.

11:00: After a rare one day hiatus, POMO is back, as Fed monetizes $6.5-8.5 billion in 10/31/2016 – 03/31/2018

19:15: Federal Reserve Chairman Ben Bernanke on “Clearinghouses and Financial Stability”. Q&A scheduled. Given the topic of his speech, Chairman Bernanke may not comment directly on the economic outlook or policy issues.
