CNN Closes Out 2017 Smoking Weed on Live TV

Content originally published at

CNN sent out one of their reporters to Colorado to 'investigate' legal procreation of marijuana and then broadcasted the degeneracy live for America to behold. Do not worry lads, marijuana is medicinal and doesn't have any downside, such as cancer or losing vast amounts of brain cells. Feel free to smoke as much as you want, operate machinery, and have a grande time.

Here's CNN at a puff and pass party.

And here's CNN on a weed party bus, exploring the virtues of having a bong attached to a gas mask.

I can't wait until heroin is legalized and CNN shows young America how to properly mainline opiates.

Here's a link that seems even handed about it:…

There are some health risks identified with smoking pot.  We know their are alternate ways besides smoking to administer the active ingredient.  More data in a couple of years, and they will have plenty.  Right now, it seems at least safer than cigarettes.

Idiocracy is accurate.  Alcohol has been legal, but we don't see CNN partying out on busses and holding bottles of liquor in their hands while reporting and gleefully celebrating getting drunk as a primary news story.  Ratings, folks.  Ratings over common sense, moral restraint, or worrying about what example they set for kids.

>accuses marijuana users of “idiocracy”

>types “would of” in a sentence.

You should try to learn the basics of grammar instead of merely typing phonetically.

“Would’ve” is the conjunctive form of “Would have”, you dolt.

Jesus...I learned that shit in 3rd grade and never forgot. How’s that for memory?

A regular user of marijuana.

While I don't smoke weed and find the people who make it such a priority in their lives to be silly, if alcohol and cigarettes are legal then no reason why weed shouldn't be. Those are worse to one's health than weed is.

Funny how many don't give a crap about people doing those two things but get triggered over weed smokers. I guess they were brainwashed by the government's many decades long propaganda of making weed out to be evil.

Weed is not safer, when you inhale, you take in hundreds of carcinogens. A glass of wine with dinner can help your heart. Nicotine  is addictive, but not bad for you, it's the hundreds of carcinogens created by lighting up. Cigarettes have a filter that filter some of this out. Health problems aside what about social ones, where you have increased pot heads behind machinery, or foggy brains making crucial decisions. The Propaganda runs deep on both sides

Nothing is all bad or all good, it is a balancing act. One that depends on the person, their condition, the reasons for taking the drug, etc. Too many variables for anyone to draw up a one-size-fits-all solution.

And why are you suddenly worried about the decisions 'foggy minds' might make, when you have spent your entire life dealing with the decisions made by a bunch of geriatric alcoholics? Go bar-hopping in DC, and go see how many of the 'decision-makers' are marinating their brain cells in legal alcohol on a nightly basis. And the 'cocktail hour' was a mainstay of the golden age of Boomer culture...a drink in one hand, a cigarette in the other.

When this country pursues closet drinkers with the same gusto they go after pot smokers, then I'll believe they are serious about the addiction problem. And when employers start screening for alcohol abuse, then I'll believe they are really concerned about having a 'drug free workplace'. Until then it is nothing but phony virtue-signaling hypocrisy.

I think it should be legal, and treated exactly the same as cigarettes and alcohol. It does irritate me though, how some potheads go overboard with the "Hey man, it's GOOD for you." They act like smoking bongs all day is the equivalent of going out for a 5-mile run. Losers that smoke weed all day long are no different than the guy who grabs a 30-pack of PBRs at the end of the workday, and polishes them off all night long. They both have substance abuse issues. Someone who has been smoking weed all day, should not be behind the wheel either, same as a drunk. It does NOT improve your reaction time.

But it does increase your delivery of watchfulness and caution, and it DOES decrease ones ability to get proper angry with other less watchful and cautious road users.. AND if you make sure you take a second glance at junctions and traffic lights (to compensate for any alteration of perceptions of speed and distance) you build up a habit that will serve you well, even if you haven't smoked before driving.

not that I do this much these days (driving included, lol) but there was NOTHING better for my car insurance rates in my 20s than driving around high all the time.  it helped me burn off that adolescent impatience that drove the pedal to the floor and my speedometer over 100 all too often.  hey, what's the rush....and I cared more about not getting pulled over than trying to push the asymptote of travel time towards zero.

Ah yes, the new, improved .....

Cannabis News Network.

As stoners, they won't put up quite as much resistance.... come the revolution.

And as for role models.... well perhaps we just won't go there.

Heavy use of psychotropic drugs can lead to delusional behavior and psychosis. Just watch these people live when they are doing "news broadcasts" if you have any doubts
