Manafort Tried To Tamper With Witnesses After Indictment, May Have To Return To Jail

Paul Manafort, President Trump's former campaign manager, has been accused of attempting to tamper with witnesses in his federal tax and lobbying case.

Court documents reveal that Manafort tried to contact several associates after his indictment last year via phone and encrypted messaging program to get their stories straight over lobbying practices, which prosecutors say violates the terms of his release.

They have asked a federal judge to "revoke or revise" the order governing the terms of his supervised release, which could send him to jail until his trial. Manafort is currently under 24-hour GPS monitored house arrest.

FBI agent Brock W. Domin wrote in court documents that one witness reported Manafort's contact, and that he appeared to be trying to coach him on their story about where they lobbied.

The order reads:

The day after the Superseding Indictment was made public, Manafort also sent Person D1 a text message on an encrypted application, stating “This is paul.”

Two days later, on February 26, 2018, Manafort used the same encrypted application to send Person D1 a news article describing the Superseding Indictment’s allegations concerning the Hapsburg group, which included the statement that “two European politicians were secretly paid around €2 million  by Manafort in order to ‘take positions favorable to Ukraine, including by lobbying in the United States.’”

One minute after sending the news article, Manafort wrote: “We should talk. I have made clear that they worked in Europe.” Toll records for one of Manafort’s  phones indicate that Manafort had a short call with Person D1 on February 24, 2018, and that Manafort attempted to call Person D1 again on February 25 and 27, 2018

As noted in Special Agent Domin’s declaration, Person D1 has told the government that he understood Manafort’s outreach to be an effort to “suborn perjury,” because Person D1 knew that the Hapsburg group worked in the United States—not just Europe.

Approximately five hours later, Person A switched to another encrypted application and sent a similar series of messages to Person D2, including a message relaying Manafort’s “summary” that the Hapsburg group never lobbied in the United States

Person A's message is thus a "false story" conveyed "as if the story were true," and an attempt "to persuade a witness to give a false account that tracked the defendant's position."

Blackstone Intelligence did a long video on Manafort and his partner, Davis.  They are equal opportunity crooks and have done their dirty work with Republicans and Democrats alike. Total stupidity on Trump's part to put such a scumbag as his campaign manager, even for a month or two.  Speaking of scumbags, Mueller is prosecuting him solely to coerce him into turning state's evidence on Trump, whatever that may be.

Manafort was part of the swamp and protected - or he would have been nabbed when cashing in in the Philippines under Marcos or Mobutu in the Congo.

Whey they dropped his protection is not really clear, although Manafort is  a failure. Maybe he just didn't lubricate enough?

When he started working with Ukraine maybe the focus was not on pro-Russian? He could have also been a double guy, pretending to be pro-Russian so you can work with the pro-Russian forces in Ukraine, while secretly preparing NATO/EU entry. He did get Yanukovich to look at it - but he refused to sign up last minute.

Manafort failed to get Ukraine into NATO/EU and maybe he is just punished for that now.

Across the board in politics, it is not the particular issue, the particular party platform or the particular foreign country that is being promoted to appease the Lobbyist Gods.

Nothing matters but the lucrative career-ladder value for elites.

If siding with this group or this country helps politicians make bank in the lucrative corporate-lobbying market, while maintaining enough votes to keep their public career for as long as it is lucrative, that is exactly what they do, with the facile ones shifting back and forth between high-value positions so nimbly that you cannot see which side of any issue has the most career-pumping value for them.

Just like with the financial system, there are a few fall guys, here and there, chosen to take the entire blame for this rigged house of cards that never falls.

As with the rest of the corrupt “work”place structure in the USA, the rewards accrue almost entirely to the working families, regardless of how amazingly corrupt their behavior is, and if any fall guys emerge, they are almost entirely either without kids or without kids under 18 to humanize them and exempt them from blame, with Blagojevich being the exception. His looseness in talking about what they do REALLY bothered the elites; it cast way too much light on it. So, even though he was in the family-friendly clique of elite politicians and other aristocratic, dual-high-earner couples with kids, they threw the book at him.

And absolutely nothing changed in the intervening period.

Unless the US goes back to the mentality that every politician and every businessperson does not require an aristocratic lifestyle and airtight, intergenerational, static wealth protected by the feudal global economy for everyone in his or her dynastic fold, the so-called republic is s*****d, even though the political elites—like most of the others getting rewarded, not for hard work or attendance at work, but for cutthroat maneuvering out in low-wage job land—are doing it all for their babies.

[insert cute baby pucs] Like, Like, smiley baby emoji!

Few of our elites are getting rich in a way that [expands] the NON-FAKE economy. Few of them are risking capital to employ Americans in a substantial form, as opposed to providing part-time and low-wage churn gigs, with the womb-productive citizen & noncitizen employees getting their main bousehold bills paid not through decent, full-time wages, but through monthly welfare & child tax credits up to $6,431, or living with their parents due to unaffordable rent in cases where elites hire the youth-clique workers instead of the mom-gang workers.

Elites have found a way to make mounds of money just by PR, influence and manipulating various types weaknesses in the economic and political system. Every one of our major politicians gets flat-out rich off of the office, wildly rich, robber-baron rich without creating any substantial jobs. Obama has made upwards of $60 million in no time. The Clintons made $232 million in a few short years, and they did not create any businesses that employ American citizens.

They are all doing it in both parties.

It is creating a ton of static, intergenerational wealth for the babies at the top and undending layers of freebies from the government overlords for working parents at the bottom.

It is all done for babies—all for rich & poor babies, puppies and koala bears—including the pay-per-birth welfare system that supports the illusion of employment in a country with 95 million, WORKING-AGE, out-of-the-workforce citizens and 42 million “employed,” womb-productive food stamps recipients, with their ever growing pile of cake crumbs from these elites for having sex, reproducing in single-earner households and working the part-time jobs-in-name-only that these elites create so that the womb-productive can stay under the income limits for the feudal welfare programs.

Meanwhile, the static cash keeps flowing to the dynasties at the top.

Meanwhile, there are no real jobs that cover a full range of household bills without pay for sex and reproduction from the government overlords in sight for most in the bottom 80%.

It is an aristocracy, not a republic.

More process crimes.  Call your buddy after you're released, and you've violated the terms of your bail and will be charged with a separate crime, even if all of the other charges are eventually dropped.  USA!  USA!  USA!

It probably all depends on whether he is the chosen fall guy in the cracking-down-on-pay-for-play illusion that they are creating.

All they care about is making it look like highly paid, six-figure government bureaucrats actually do something about our bought-and-paid-for political process, when they, too, are cashing in on it by the millions via PR, books, etc.

It is all for babies and families, of course.

The current fall-guy prospect does not seem as openly chatty as Blogo was, however. Those encrypted-in-name-only messages are pretty circumspect, not at all like the over-the-top, exaggerated and explicit proclamations about how the Establishment operates that made Blogo so vulnerable despite the PR protection that usually accrues to working parents who have kids to humanize them in the public arena.

Despite his less-loose lips, Manafort does not have all that much to humanize him in the family-friendly, womb-productivity-centric PR arena of the fake-feminist era.

It sounds like his kids are long grown and far out of the stage where they could provide their parent with cutesy, cuddly publicity to insulate him from punishment.

It is not like the near-geriatric Manafort is a childbearing-age and frequently absentee momma employee or a flex-time momma manager in a cutthroat and cutesy, $10-per-hour corporate back office or a call center, dominated by mommas who use their babies as humanizing shields against firing for bad behavior unless they are literally absentee all day / every day in a management job.

He is not going to be like the token grandma employee who understands how it is to be a corrupt, frequently absentee, back-watching mom and is, thus, a “culture fit,” even without kids under 18––the winner of the Tacky Christmas Sweater Contest, if not the winner of the Baby Mommy Look Alike Bulletin Board Decorating Contest and the Halloween Dress-Up and Cubicle-Decorating Day in the cutthroat-cubed insurance underwriting office.

Regardless of whether his infraction is tiny compared to what others do, he has the right social profile to be the fall guy. Maybe, what will save Manafort is the fact that he has worked for sooooo many in the Establishment.

But as for using his personal life as a PR shield in the fake-feminist era, he simply does not appear to have the goods, or maybe, he is just not willing to use the available humanizing props.

In his personal life, he has also indulged himself rather dramatically without any apparent links to womb productivity as the reason for the self-pampering.

Most people do not have much empathy for the self indulgences of elites in the area of art or decor items, unattached to a baby theme, but mom-pampering in the extreme is fine if you explain that it is all for baby.

When working parents take ten, two-week, excused, expensive vacations per year, that is for family togetherness. Busy-working parents never get away, and it is for baby and family, even if baby is actually at the at-their-beck-and-call grandparent babysitters’ house for about half of those excused babyvacations.

There are even exceptions in the home decor self-indulgence category if baby can be used.

It is just fine when a middle or upper-middle-class momma with a full-time job——married to another well-vacationed professional and concentrating two good-paying and above-firing jobs with benefits in one household in a massively underemployed country, or taking a part-time, flex-time, absenteeism-friendly job in a safer, posher area of the city to add luxury money to a bigly spousal income——spends her recently doubled, non-refundable child tax credit on a kitchen redo.

That is sympathetic due to the fact that she did it for baby. Babies LOVE kitchen remodels. It is a big priority for the babies.

When a “poor” momma who works part time [officially] to stay below the income limits for free EBT groceries, free rent, free electricity, free monthly cash assistance and up to $6,431 in yearly refundable child tax credits spends her refundable child tax credit on a beach trip with her latest boyfriend or on another $800 tattoo to add to her sleeve, that can be spun as sympathetic.

Single momma works so hard for her babies, and babies love tats. Babies are the whole reason that tattoo parlors exist, not to mention the fact that babies LOVE it even more when mommas spend their child tax credits on $50 nail salon jobs, looking down at the immigrant girls who are on their hands knees, scraping the feet of the child-tax-credit-spending mommas.

Mommas are up on their nail salon thrones, getting their feet scraped by $8-per-hour workers during work hours and not fired.

Because.....birth-canal exits put you above morality & above firing, even when indulging your momma *** for baby during work hours.

Manafort lacks a productive womb. His self indulgences are thusly defined as self indulgences, not as self sacrifices for baby, worthy of financing by taxpayers.

Mommas can spin their mom-pampering as a necessity due to the heavy burden that parenting imposes, even in the era with the most layers of pay from government for sex and reproduction in world history and with the most fawning support from grandparents who, like government, accommodate both parents in working and in their extensive schedule of excused and lengthy vacations (for baby).

It is hard, hard, hard (in a real way) for single, childless citizens to coordinate two or three churn jobs, trying to cover rent that absorbs more than half of their earned-only income on unreliable income streams and often in self employment, paying twice-as-high SS tax rates as employees, with no tax-welfare windfalls to reward womb-productive sexual intercourse.

But married momma can easily coordinate her frequent vacations with the copious vacation time allotted to her husband. No need to EVER worry about retaining a highly paid, permanent job when the travel soccer or concert-going opportunity (for baby) arises.

When the womb is productive, every frivolous thing is defined as family-togetherness time.

Childless job applicants are told that “YOU just don’t know what it is like to raise 2 boys,” or “we have 17 women [[[[[Christain  MOMMAS]]]] in here and HAVE to have someone who fits in.” And married mommas keep their permanent, above-firing jobs through an enormous vat of back-watching absenteeism, heedless of their sales generation or account-retention numbers or by letting churned, hard workers keep their numbers up for them. Then they bully them out or fire them over the most trivial of trivialities.

It is all for baby. See the baby pics plastered all over the angelic momma’s desk. Nothing she does could be wrong.

And she needs her rest and her pampering to perform so well—-sooo very well and above critique——-in her roles as mom and professional working woman.

Beleaguered, overworked mommas in single-earner households function better with their daycare and grandparent-raised kids, when they have frequent, government-financed getaways with their boyfriends, especially when the absentee mom gang in their “voted-best-for-moms” job backs them up when they take off for protracted periods of time for the good of baby.

Babies LOVE it when mom gets her back slathered with suntan oil on a beach in Marco Rubio’s state, using her child tax credit to rendevous with boyfriend #3, while grandma keeps her kids, and she is not shy about bragging about it at work to her non-womb-productive colleagues whose rent soaks up more than half of their earned-only pay. Even when the childless employees are the ones coming to work every day, staying all day and meeting the quotas each month, their paychecks are lower than the paychecks of the absentee moms due to more withholding from government. And their Trump “tax cut” will finance a Costco membership.

Manafort is not enduring all of the many, many hardships of parenthood.

He is old, but not falling down in public, like Hillary, which gets less PR sympathy points that cuddly baby wielding, but more points than healthy geriatric living. He is just not that sympathetic.

But if the Establishment casts Manafort as the fall guy in their crack-down show, punishing him like they do in a few select cases, it will not change a thing in this corrupt, overall system.

And that is what most people who bother to do the boring civic chore of voting actually care about.

Will it make our votes actually count on domestic policy issues————like say the mass-scale, welfare-fueled immigration that keeps cheap-labor lobbyists in six-figure jobs due to the deep pockets of the corporate overlords that control US politicians?

No. It won’t.

It is interesting that this scandal concerns foreign policy, the only issue that the MSM takes seriously, other than ratings-boosting porn star drama, which is sometimes analyzed by aging, non-ratings-boosting, female MSM experts and sometimes analyzed by 20-something, ratings-boosting, female MSM experts who add gravitas to the porn-star-dominated tabloid newscasts by wearing black, horn-rimmed glasses.

This creates intellectual heft via a visual prop without sacrificing the sexed-up ratings, while, at the same time, cutting down on the multi-million-dollar sexual-harassment lawsuits that let women monetize sex, like they monetize womb productivity, in the oh-sooooo-professional fake-feminist era of working women, working moms and working families.

Black, horn-rimmed glasses keep the out-of-control, professional men at bay, and the viewers—the American voters—are so gullible that they eat it up.

They will NEVER cover the pay-for-play maneuvering that has helped to keep wages from rising for most American citizens for 40 years due to a flood of legal / illegal immigration, providing employers with a workforce able to work for beans in single-earner households with male breadwinners and US-born kids. All they have to do to permanently undercut underemployed, voting citizens is work part time for traceable income, making sure to stay under the income limits for $113 billion per year in total welfare.

They will never cover the deep-pocketed COC lobbyists who make sure that standing in line to vote has absolutely zero impact on policy in a FAKE republic, where politicians do not represent most citizens.

Put the sexed-up, horn-rimmed glasses experts on it to boost the ratings!!!! Add cute baby pics to humanize the American CITIZENS who have lost any hope of a basic, middle-class standard of living due to this corrupt-a*** pay for play, albeit it is not the womb-productive women with access to pay-per-birth monthly welfare and refundable child tax credits up to $6,431 who have suffered. It is also not as interesting to their audience as the foreign policy cloak and dagger or the porn-star gossip.

If this goes much further, Skadden Arps will have to promote all their current associates to full partners.  Think of all the Mistresses that will need to get jobs and all the yacht payments that will be missed.  There will be an empty desk or two this next academic season at the most expensive private schools.

Expats know that you can't scratch your butt in Ukraine without paying some minor government functionary a bribe.  Both HRC and McCain were instrumental in building and maintaining Ukrainian corruption.  It's very much like feeding stray cats.  The "cats" (Ukrainians) have no interest anymore in pursuing anything more than the next World Bank tranche.  Ukraine is completely dependent now on the West paying off all of its accounts every month.  However, if you stop feeding the cats eventually they will lose weight and go back to the lifestyle that can support them.

The best thing anyone anyone can do for Ukraine at this point is just to stop funding the corruption until the rats eventually jump ship and drown.

Yeah, I agree, Ukraine is totally corrupt.  Good thing that our honest armed mercenaries took their central bank's 35 tons of gold in the middle of the night and flew it out, presumably  to 33 Liberty Street for "safe keeping."  We know that "gold is safe," as the Munchkin would phrase it,  at the NY Fed.  BTW, for those of you who think that Germany repatriated its gold from the NY Fed, they could only get out 20% of it.  The remaining 80% is MIA.  The NY Fed still won't allow Bundesbank auditors to check it.

Does anyone trust or believe any in evidence stored and controlled by Apple on their cloud? The chain of custody by itself is laughable. Only fools, social justice warriors, snowflakes, unapologetic corrupt Democrats or sheep slaves in the globalist socialist plantation believe this data in the Apple cloud has not been tampered with by Apple for Mueller's benefit.
